Units are liveable. When we toured the community, the unit they showed us was fully updated and nothing close to what we got to live in. We got played. The apartments are old and need to be redone. There’s two community pools but they can’t seem to keep either of them in working condition. We took our unit because one of the pools was in our backyard - it hasn’t been working ALL summer, the other one is now broken as well. We had mice in the kitchen at one point. There isn’t lights in the living room OR bedrooms for whatever reason?? The doors to the bedrooms are too big and don’t sit flush, causing them to not close unless slammed. The only upside - maintenance is very punctual, efficient and always takes care of things.
Terrible complex, let our neighbors get away with having rats in the backyard. Never fixed anything in our unit, moved in with the shower curtain rod broken and the maintenance man did a shotty patch job that didnt hold up, sent another maintenance guy high on hard drugs when our washing machine broke and flooded the first floor from the hose not being installed correctly after many calls they didnt fix our ceiling, went months without getting the AC fixed and had over a week without hot water. They never responded to bug issues. Dont move here. Im glad we bought a house and bounced!
Liking it a lot here. Its mostly quiet and safe. The gym is only accessible during business hours now and their treadmill has been broken awhile but otherwise, no complaints. Theres always poop bags for dog owners and its clean and I always see them right on top of shoveling snow.
Worst experience living in this place, the noise levels, the crowded parking lots, dogs barking all throughout the night, bugs etc....Getting ahold of the leasing office is COMPLETEYL IMPOSSIBLE!!! Maintenance requests go unanswered!! Have been left without a washing machine for 5 days now, they say it will be handled, maintenance will call to set up appt etc, no calls, leasing office wont answer, my only advice to anyone looking to move here is DONT DO IT!!!!I cannot wait until my lease is up. I pay way too much money a month to have constant issues with no resolutions, there is never any understanding or compassion from leasing office either. The amount of people living in the units is not controlled by anyone, thus the overcrowded parking lots. Neighbors are inconsiderate with slamming cabinets and stomping around, horribly thin walls to hear everything going on with everyone. The only reason I gave one star is because its required in order to post the review....ZERO STARS!!!!!!
Kinzie goes above and beyond for the residents but also the people looking to lease. Her professional attitude and attention to detail is noticed and greatly appreciated by all. We’re really glad she works here!
Joe is awesome and has helped us so much during the pandemic. He is always friendly and personable and shows that he cares about the residents. This is a great place to live and Joe deserves a raise! 😀
My wife and I moved into our 2 bedroom townhouse a few weeks ago and we just love it here. Our place is in great condition and was spotless when we moved in, all the neighbors are extremely nice and helpful, and management has been very responsive which is just night and day compared to where we used to live. I think we’ll be staying here for a while.
We lived here from September 2017-November 2018. I waited a long time to write this review but while living there we had nothing but unpleasant experiences with both greystar and echelon as well as the neighbors. Our ceiling fell in the first week we lived there, there was never hot water, the neighborhood kids vandalized my new truck as well as multiple apartments in the complex. The neighborhood gang of kids would stand in front of our door and curse and fight with each other running around screaming with no supervision whatsoever, they even vandalized the mailboxes and complex office. Management never did anything to alleviate any of our problems. The floors creak, the carpets are old, our air filter was last replaced in 2004 (until they did it the week we moved out). Overall worst place I’ve ever lived and I’m happier each day I don’t have to go back.
I would NOT recommend these apartments after the new leasing company took over. They NEVER answer their phones, you ALWAYS have to leave voicemails and they hardly ever return your calls. Towards the end of our lease the billing was really messed up, they couldnt understand that we signed a month to month lease & wanted to over charge us. We ALWAYS got stuck with neighbors that partied or were always fighting with someone until 3 in the morning. Maintenance didnt fix anything, my man always had to go back & fix it on his own. They could have just provided us with the new parts/tools. 🤦🏽♀🤷🏽♀
I wanted to write a quick review concerning my current stay here at the Ranch. I have received nothing but consideration and positive attitudes since day one. The office staff and maintenance personnel have shown me nothing but respect and professionalism. They have gone out of their way to make my stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable in every way of their ability. My health and safety concerns have been addressed with an orderly and quick response at every turn. I have enjoyed my stay and the interactions I have had with the staff and community here at the Ranch at Bear Creek and plan on continuing my residence as long as I am able to. I am thankful for all the warm wishes and hospitality I have received. This is a wonderful community. Being previously in the multi family Industry, I know how difficult it can be to keep a strong positive attitude at times, although the current staff handles themselves with professionalism and respect throughout. Thanks again!
Love the location! And the facilities are so nice!Maintenance has fixed what we have asked and the staff is nice. My favorite perk is the valet trash.
The new management and crew is wonderful. Whenever I have had an issue it has been handled immediately, even when I state it is not a rush. When I have a work order the office staff lets me know an approximate date that it will be fixed, and will communicate if something has changed. They have went way out of their way to make me feel safe and that I am not just a renter. The team is incredibly nice and helpful, evening working past hours to get the job done. Everyone has a pleasant attitude, and is working hard to change things around from the previous office staff. There are many community activities such as; a ice cream social and a BBQ nights, that have been arranged for residents to come together and get to know one another. They are ALL doing a great job to turn things around (which does take time) and make the Ranch at Bear Creek and wonderful place to live.
Not only was the new manager - Anna - superbly kind, but proactive in her communication, her team was friendly, communicative, and approachable as well. I cannot be more thankful for this community. Their maintenance staff was excellent, the townhome felt like home straight away, and I cannot express how much gratitude I have towards the entire team for helping us get moved in so quickly and smoothly!Edited: 5/20/2020After waiting for days for the maintenance team to repair a water leak, I now have a back door and the back fence that will not lock. After waiting four days for the maintenance team to repair a water leak, I now have a back door and a back fence that will not lock. Both tickets put in have been ignored/closed out without resolution. This is after waiting almost eight weeks for a dishwasher repair.
I was considering renewing at this place however I’ve notice they don’t really check how many people live in each apt how many car everyone actually has, at this point I don’t think they even do a background check, there’s been a lot of people moving in and out lately, a lot of several of the new renters have a over population living in. 2 Bed apartment, Which is not of my business however the amount of noise is can be a disturbance (imagine how loud it can be) also some Of those same tenants have 05 to 6 cars, parking is always an issue.I used to really liked the community however new neighbors are rude laud even camp their whole family of 8 in front of our front door and leave a mess. Won’t be surprise why packages are been stolen. Honestly we aren’t mostly home because we work full time however is hard coming home to all this noise and no parking at all after 10+hrs shift. Also there’s a couple times we have gotten extra charges in our rent, however if I noticed and get a hold of someone at the leasing office they will take care of it.I guess is a gamble living in this townhomes, some time your lucky and your repairs would be taken care right away like ours or maybe not in to something major happens. Definitely building 18 and 19 have over population in some apartments so if your looking for a quiet space because your work to many hours in a Hospital and need a home to rest this isn’t for you. However if you don’t mind laud neighbors that might sound like their inside the same room with you what ever time of the day that 1700$ for two bed is for you
Poor management and customer service. Also rent continues to rise. I called twice about questions with my bill and did not hear a response till I physically went into the leasing office. Was told by one staff member they didn’t understand the problem which is understandable but they should still call you back. And then when I went about trying to fix this issue with Xcel Directly one of the managers Joe stated, he “didn’t have time for this.” Being busy is one thing but this is just poor resident service and management skills. As a manager you need to be solution oriented and at least Practice some level of courtesy. Perhaps suggest a call back at a later time? There’s an idea. Overall experience here is just getting worse and worse. Exercise caution if you’re considering moving here, and read the fine print TWICE.
Moved into an apartment here. I was in it for two day before it was flooded and completely ruined. Staff moved us to another apartment and was curious, but much of my furniture was ruined because I assumed people were not careful in moving it. I’m still not very happy with our overall experience and I’m reminded every time I look at my furniture. Even my daughters brand new crib has a chunk missing from the corner as if it was dropped. Wish I could have avoided the entire experience and moved elsewhere, I’m not okay with my furniture being trashed by staff.
THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS GREAT! Leaving my apartment after being here for over 2 years. The managers a few months ago were about as bad as they come and I had lost a lot of hope.... BUT!!! I met with Joe today to go over my departure and he is awesome! I’m sad to be leaving now but very happy with how they are taking care of things!!
If I could give this place negative stars I honestly would. I have lived in several (over 10) different apartments/complexes and have never experienced worse service and overall dissatisfaction then from this place. I didnt even get the chance to move in. They first got our move in date wrong and acted as though they needed to work around us like they were doing US a favor. Then, they called me to come pick up my keys a day early which I was very excited about. We walk over and get our keys and did a walk through, where the manager Matt walks through with us and points out several issues with the apartment. There were rips in the laminate flooring to which he replied he would have someone come and hot glue it for us. Then the kitchen wasnt stainless steal which is what we were told we would have, then the upstairs bathroom cabinets were missing a drawer and the wood work was the WORST I have ever seen. I promise I am not one to ever complain and this is my first review I have ever written online but this is how appalled I am by this place. Matt literally told me that if we dont rent it as is that someone else would be willing to move in and pay for how it is. They were unwilling to work with us at all. Matt then tells us he will show us a different apartment that is available and as we walk over to it CURRENT tenants are in the middle of moving out of it to which they told us dont move here this is the worst place we have ever lived, we have only been here for a month and have had too many things go wrong that management wouldnt fix. I am on here writing this review because rent is already expensive in Denver metro area if you want to avoid wasting your time and money DO NOT live here.
I would definitely recommend living here! I have lived at places where management is terrible and this is NOT one of them. I can almost guarantee that the people putting these bad reviews up are causing problems for there neighbors or violating the lease and they dont like that the new management isnt letting things go anymore and is making this a great place to live. Just go talk to the office and see for yourself! They are all extremely helpful and willing to do anything for anyone that asks. Maintenance has been incredible since the new management took over as well and things are so much better! Keep it up! Your hard work is paying off!
Overall, this complex is filled with undesirable residents, many who are on subsidized housing vouchers while those who are not, pay inflated rates and extra charges. Generally, many residents are just trashy, loud and even drug addicts. The management and other staff have changed over many times. Dont be fooled by the website photos as many of the apts are in poor condition and there isnt enough maintenance staff to fix all of the ongoing problems. The pools are often closed and the other amenities are not worth the inflated prices for all the hassles.
Overall great experience so far! Very family friendly community. Great price for the space. Friendly people and staff. Good location. Living close to the pool can be a bit noisy during the summer with kids staying out swimming late in to the night.
Ive lived here for years and generally I love it here. I would like to see ALL units updated, not just when people leave and isI like to see some landscaping and walkway improvement (building 26).Im looking forward to the new management as the last group was lazy at best. All in all though I really like it here. Its quiet. Its friendly. And its safe
Weve been at living here for about 8 months and have no complaints. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our unit could stand to get some updates, but everything is it good condition and works properly. The location of these apartments is pretty ideal with parks and running/biking paths close by. The pools are another perk!
*Edited* The office called a day later to explain a miscommunication. They were able to waive the late fee. It sounds like its more of an issue with the Resident Portal than the actual community. I appreciate them reaching back out to resolve the issue.Original:Not Forgiving- Accidentally used an old bank account instead of my current. They charged me a late fee and insufficient funds fee. This was a first time offense, and they refused to waive it. On top of that, I never received an email that the payment didnt go through. I was just double checking the portal and saw that it didnt go through.
Amazing apartments, little to no noise and great location. I love everything on the inside and all the amanatoes that come with it alot of storage space and great staff
New management is is horrible. I went in with a problem with Xcel energy, manager got very defensive and rude immediately, walked away into back office. I also had a light out in entryway for months very dangerous, request for light being fixed was replied to that it was fixed, it took three months to fix. Need better maintence and management. Some sidewalks were shoveled and most werent. I could go on, but wont. Matt was very kind, new manager is very rude and never in the office. He walks around on his phone and is very unfriendly.
I really like it here the management isnt bad at all they are trying their best to handle it and things that need to be done and they do understand what is going on with things but due to the sickness of the virus they cant be here completely to risk themself but besides that I love living here and only have small issues that is being handled I DNT have any other problems here
This is my second time living here at Ranch at Bear Creek because we love it here!:) The leasing office and their managers Sean and Matt are fantastic and always respond to any issue promptly. The assistant community manager Matthew Grall totally helped my fiancé and I print and scan some documents our loan officer had sent us! We just couldn’t be more pleased with this managers and even the maintenance crew! Thanks guys
$25 fee for paying with wrong acct. plus the $45 late charge. Total BS when an honest mistake was made. Instead of understanding, they are truly showing how money hungry they are.Update: The office called and decided to waive the $45 late charge...this was done after being told nothing could be done. However, the fact a manager called and decided to waive it was a positive thing.
Darian the maintenance man is truly what makes this place be able to make it. He is so amazing, every time I have a issue which is a lot being its one of the complexes new renovation townhouse. He does everything he can to fix whatever I need. He deserves to have a management position. Since I have moved in the office personal change but Darian has been consistent which makes my life easier since my son and dog feel safe when he is here. I truly hope this company sees his value. Thank you Darian if you ever see this for all your help and respect you give to the community.
Staff is courteous and responsive, and response time to requests has improved. Theres also a noticeable improvement in a variety of factors over previous ownership.
Management here is completely incompetent. We moved in and on he second day our entire apartment was flooded due to the washer machine not being hooked up correctly. We were moved to different apartment and during the move maintenance staff ruined much of our furniture. It took over a month for staff to give us a mailbox key. Any time my wife calls about issue they say well get back to you and never get back to us.
They took my other review down. Hmmmmm I wonder why cause I keep telling people not to move here . Well Google let me tell you why. We went a month from July 3rd to August 4th without hot water. And this is a recurring issue as I type this today we have no hot water yet again . And it has happened at least 6 other times for a period of 24 hours or longer . DO NOT LIVE HERE. The leasing office guys could care less about your concerns or what happens to you . Worst people I have done business with . Not having hot water is against the tenant laws and this isnt okay to have to go through at least once to twice a month .
Love living here! Staff is friendly and maintenance issues are handled quickly. Very clean grounds, wish the stairs and railings could be updated though.
All of the staff here is wonderful from the office to the maintenance. They are very quick to respond to everything and very helpful.
Disappointed. I was quoted on a price for a townhome only to find that the person who established our quote made a mistake.Okay mistakes happen, but then Lisa who was the supervising manager, provided no quality of customer service to remedy our conundrum. No consolation whatsoever. One would think someone in her position, and with her obvious amount of experience, would at least try to accommodate our situation. One would think there would be some semblence of solidarity amongst the operators of an otherwise attractive apartment complex.Looks like well be taking our business elsewhere. Lesson learned: even when something is in writing, keep your fingers crossed.
The new management is amazing!!! Thank you Garrett for everything you da man!!!!
Love living in this apartment so nice
Stay away from these apartments! They are roach infested big time! I was helping my friend move into an apartment there and I killed a roach that was an inch long and another scattered! The whole day moving my friend in we killed 15!! Disgusting! My friend called the leasing office and they never did anything about it. For the amount of money my friend is paying them I recommended suing them for damages! Now all my friends personal items will be roach infested. What a joke. The apartment also looked like garbage! Who ever learned how to turn an apartment is not very bright. Paint everywhere, especially on the wood cabinets! Carpets were dirty and also had wholes in them, screens are ripped, appliances are dirty, they didnt bother moving any of them to clean behind or under them, doors are so thick with paint that they are extremely hard to open once you get them finally closed. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone!
Stay away from this bug place and rude office people Joe and Garrett
Office staffs are friendly.
