I lived here approximately 1 year before purchasing my condo. At first glance it looks like the idea apartment with all the amenities but you soon realize that its just a glamorous ghetto that is completely rat/mouse infested. RODENTS EVERYWHERE. Rats on the staircase, under your car, living and dead in the parking lot, in front of your door, in and out the drains and dumpsters... EVERYWHERE. It was the absolute worse apartment community I have ever been part of. Lets not talk about parking. There is none. It was a fight every night to find a decent parking spacewhere you didnt have to walk a mile to your apartment. If I could I would give Ashford Belmar 0 stars.

I want to commend the helpful people I’ve encountered while living these past 5 years at Ashford Belmar. Patrick, in the office, has been extremely helpful working with me with his joyful manner. The Maintenance team is always friendly and sees to any problems I might be having, usually in a timely manner. The two gentlemen from Atlanta that were here at the end of August, Tony and Randy, also get my kudos. Thank you!

Ashford is in close proximity to all the essentials! Including shopping stores, restaurants, and multiple parks. Not to mention the staff at the leasing office are fantastic! Especially Patrick and Vitoria. They were extremely helpful during my move; prompt, kind, and nothing short of amazing. The maintenance team did a great job as well! Very thankful to live here.

Absolutely lovely!We began the move in process during the quarantine and the leasing consultant, Victoria, was nothing short of incredible! We were provided with virtual tours, information, and all of our questions were answered with kindness and speed!We are currently renting a two bedroom space which is absolutely lovely. Incredibly spacious and clean, with large windows to let in generous natural lighting throughout the apartment!So far we have only run into a few minor issues on moving in, and maintenance was here within the day to fix them! They were incredibly fast, courteous, and professional and resolved all of the issues we had faster than any maintenance team I have encountered before.Overall the complex is incredibly lovely and well kept. Grounds management is lovely, maintenance is fantastic, and management is incredibly kind, quick, and friendly. It is quickly becoming Home and we are very happy to be here!

The nicest slum youll ever live in. Everything looks nice, but wait a week and something will break. And then you might as well get used to it because management wont respond to you.RECENTLY we waited over a month for our back door to be fixed. Both ball bearings on the bottom were shot. After leaving a review here on google, they finally sent someone out. They replaced ONE of the bearings. The door is once again stuck.We are approaching the end of week 2 of our AC being out in the middle of a heat wave. NO RESPONSE from management. Im expecting them to read this, have a nice form response about how sorry they are that weve had this experience and that theyll get someone out right away. You should not believe them.

A/C went out in July. I put in several maintenance request to get my A/C fixed on July 8th and 3 weeks later still nothing! How they feel letting someone go all of JULY with no A/C is ridiculous. Highly recommend you look somewhere else or just pray you never need even the slightest maintenance request, because they will never get to it.

We lived here for about 16 months. Would also give zero stars if I could. Our windows and patio door never locked the entire time we were there. We paid for our own lock system after months of maintenance requests via call and email went unanswered. We were also on the third floor and the cement steps on each side were crumbling beneath out feet- also never fixed despite calls and emails with pictures. We paid for tons of amenities all during the pandemic and werent able to use any of them. If youre looking for a nice, kept up place with responsive management, this is NOT it.

I would give this place 0 if I could.Went to have a meeting with the director about all my issues and how the team unresponsive and I have been fixing all of my work orders myself since I am unable to get the maintenance team to schedule a time with me.AND HE WASNT EVEN THERE AND I HAD AN EMAIL CONFIRMING HE KNEW I WAS COMING IN.That sums up living here, every time you try to have a conversation no one is there, or its not their problem, or the best We have a lot of other apartments.If you cannot manage all these apartments then dont own them.--To the response below he called me after see this review and we chatted and he was suppose to follow up on Monday to our conversation and again nothing was followed up with.Please call me directly to finish this conversation, thank you

We have had our AC out this entire summer. I have been having to live elsewhere due to the heat and my animals have been boarding. One of my animals had a heat stroke. I have proof of the apt being well over 90 degrees. I have put in numerous requests and they continue to tell me what I want to hear but the problem is never fixed. At this point I feel they are stalling till the cool season gets here and that’s awful. Ashford Belmar does not care about the well being of their tenants.

This place lacks up keeping in maintenance for the tenant and takes more the a month to ever come around to it. We had our AC failing for this whole summer heat since April. We have a newborn to meet the comforts we made a purchase that was Necessary to keep up with this a portable AC that was 500 out of pocket. We are fed up with this place and we have been here only 5 months on a 15 months lease with no AC outraged calling and calling and get avoided.

Zero stars if possible! Trash community. Over priced AMMENTITIES that are never open or usable, the outdoor pool is closed weeks at a time, i lived there for almost 2 years, made dozens of service requests i ultimately had to take care of myself. Leaking fridge, dryer that wont heat enough to dry a single towel on high for 2 hours. Their emergency phone number is a dead end, all around a joke of a property to live at. Cars broken into regularly, cars towed illegally even if you have a parking permit, which will take weeks to fight for no resolve. Ive asked for my money back due to an addendum stating i dont owe rent per day after 24 hours of a service request going unfixed, if thats the case they owe me 7 months for broken appliances. They billed me late fees instead of speaking with me on the matter. Complete trash!The leasing office was in complete awareness of the problems, one complaint about your dryer not actually drying my clothes, 2 hrs each small load? I had someone over to vacuum my dryer out 3 times, to realize my dryer vent was sealed. I had 3 requests submitted that the refrigerator was leaking and making black ice (at the beginning of my lease). To have it set to be replaced after i moved out 26 months later? I would love to speak to someone about a refund, per the addendum I signed.

After living here less than 3 months, this is now the 3rd time our AC unit has broken and we have had no response from property mgmt. Maintenance requests do nothing, calling the office does nothing (they never answer the phone), even driving to the office results in nothing being done as theres no staff in the building half the time. I expected far more from this place before moving in.This happened in July as well and we were told they received over 80 separate reports concerning AC outages. It took close to a week of calling and visiting the leasing office daily just to get someone on the line who could say more than Ill see what we can do. It took an additional week before a technician even stopped by to investigate the problem. This time we put in a request 2 days ago (as of this post) and have yet to reach anyone at the office.The property owners clearly dont have the staffing power or forethought to maintain their apartments. As tenants, we dont even have a reliable way to get their attention besides posting reviews publicly. I do not recommend Ashford Belmar.

The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna havent worked since at least October of 2020. They have said theyre fixing it 9 months now with no word otherwise.Now since reading other reviews it seems that its been years since they have worked and I was a fool for not looking into this further and seeing these scathing reviews on google that you apparently rightly deserve. Such a disappointment.

The Ashford Belmar has great amenities, within walking distance of everything you need, close to a park and the freeway. Patrick at the front office was extremely accommodating and kind. Unfortunately, a couple poor experiences with maintenance and construction workers makes it 4/5 stars. The apartment itself is spacious and has updated, functioning amenities. Greta place to live if you’re looking in Lakewood!

Patrick is incredibly helpful and cares a lot about Ashford Belmar Apartments. He is incredibly personable and accommodating. Victoria was very helpful as well!The apartment complex itself is nice as well as the club house. But I would give this place a solid 3.5-4. The parking is a disaster. Cars are stolen/broken into and its almost impossible to find a parking space after 5pm. Guest parking costs money each time and theres no promise youll get a spot.

Simply love living here! Anything we need help with or maintenance issues, they’re on top of it around this place. I enjoy working with Patrick in the office, a sure way to brighten your day AND get any situation resolved ( if there are any). The gym is still only available during business hours but otherwise this place is fantastic to live and keep busy.

I absolutely love this complex! The staff is awesome, especially with Patrick and Victoria in the office! They will help with you anything and are just great all around!The location of this complex is very convenient! Within walking distance of a Target and shopping center and a very short drive from the 6th Ave Highway (also 15 mins from downtown).I personally live in a 1 bedroom apartment and it is HUGE (940sq ft) compared to other apt. complexes in the area that go for around similar pricing. The apartments are really, really nice, clean, updated and open with lots of natural light. I love having friends over and have the space to.The amenities here are what really stood out to me when searching for an apartment complex! The olympic sized pool and weight/workout room are top notch. I sadly have only used the weight room so far because of COVID.For pet owners, there are areas for bags and plenty of side walk and grass to take walks!I’ve seen a few negative reviews regarding parking, but parking is terrible after 6-7pm EVERYWHERE. Ashford Belmar does a great job of regulating the parking, which is great for those living here. Make sure to register your car when you move in because if you get towed, its $250!!!!! Guest parking is limited.I visited a lot of other complexes and I am so glad I found this one! Thank you Ashford Belmar!!!

Please reconsider renting here. Even if you manage to have a good experience living here, they will continue to cause problems for you even after you move out.Although the apartments are nice, the manager and leasing staff are unresponsive and at times very unprofessional. We initially didn’t have any problems until the towards the end our 2 years living here. We had issues with neighbors that the staff refused to address, and had toxic fumes come in through our apartment due to maintenance re-finishing a bath tub in the apartment below us without adequate ventilation. When we called the office, the person we spoke with said they couldn’t do anything about it and told us we were “fine.” Fumes continued to get worse and started feeling lightheaded and nauseous, and ended having to call the fire department despite multiple complaints to the staff about what was happening. All while having to wait outside with our cat in the cold.We moved out shortly thereafter when our lease was up due to these issues. About a year later, we get a call from collections stating we owe them back rent despite paying our prorated rent in full for May 2019. We were never contacted after move out to pay any additional fees. I have attempted to contact their office via phone and email several times with no response. They have left me to hang out to dry with NO explanation for what these charges are and how they are owed. And now there’s damage to my financial health because of them.We were good tenants and paid rent on time every month and left the apartment in good condition.Very disappointing to see how they treat their renters here who respect the rules and are good tenants. If you have other options, please reconsider living here.

I lived at Ashford Belmar for a short term lease over this past summer. The apartment was pretty good, but the customer service was great. I left some clothes and packages when I moved out of the apartment and contacted the front desk to see if there was any way I could get them sent to me. Patrick helped me out and personally mailed me my clothes and packages across the country. He was super helpful and it is probably the best customer service I have ever received in my life.

Searching for apartments is exhausting enough. My work schedule is hectic during the week and the only time I have is the weekends to see apartments in person. Patrick offered me a Saturday morning appointment. He showed me a spacious three-bedroom with a garage! I was pleased with the community and Patrick sealed the deal. I can not wait to move in!

This place is okay. Throughout the year I lived here I felt progressively less safe. My car was broken into twice. I also asked management if they could replace outside lamp posts and they never did. It is so dark when you are walking at night, it makes me feel unsafe. Our mailbox also was broken into on at least two separate occasions, and after asking for it to be fixed twice, i just ended up having to bend the metal myself.As for the apartment itself, it was decent. Maintenance was always prompt and helpful. They are a good space for the price. I did enjoy the walking distance to shops in Belmar.During COVID all amenities were closed and as of early August, they still remained closed. All tenants pay monthly for these amenities and the lack of information was disappointing. It is handled poorly and continuing to charge tenants for these amenities is basically stealing.

The maintenance team is very helpful and prompt, the apartments are spacious for the price, and the gym is brand new! Would recommend

Weve lived here for 2 years and loved it, would have continued to live here if we were staying in state. Our apartment is incredibly priced for the size and location! Lots of communication from the leasing office whenever something is happening in the community, we always feel very well informed. Maintenance staff have always done a great job and have been very helpful and friendly as well. The only inconvenience is that parking can be a little hit or miss, usually lots are full by early evening. Parking spots now must be paid for (really cheap thankfully), so I think this should help remedy that problem.

RAT INFESTATION! Do not move here unless you want to live among CROWDS of big, fat long-tailed rodents. This place literally seems as if it is located in the slums of India. At night, you can hear the rats running amongst the walls of the apartments. In the day, you can see them living in the filthy shrubs that surround the apartment homes. These rats are not shy... they are ALWAYS out and about traipsing around the vehicles and garbage cans. Walking past a dead rat that has been smashed by a vehicle is not an uncommon sight.

Ive lived here since April 2020. Overall things are fine for apartment living. I moved in during the pandemic so the amenities have been shut down which sucks, but I get why they are closed. If the amenities were opened Id give a 5/5. The reason for the 4 stars is the location. Its a quick 5 minute walk to Target, Whole Foods or the mall. Convenient access to Wadsworth, 285 and 6th Ave.

I absolutely love my apartment! The location is perfect and the size/layout is wonderful. The maintenance is always quick (within 1-2 days) to complete a project, and so far I have found zero issues with their handy work. The staff is also SO PATIENT and very willing to work with me-- I have been a little needy with things lately, but have been so blessed by their patience and grace (shoutout to Patrick whos ALWAYS a baller!! And the apt manager Gloria who also has been great to me). If I had to say anything slightly negative, I wish that we were able to get through to the office a little easier. Other than that teeny tiny, super small dislike, I LOVE this place!

What an awful experience.The leasing agent tried to tell me that “expires on 7/27/2020” actually means that the offer ends on 7/26/2020. She told me that I misinterpreted the expires on 7/27 quote!?!By submitting an application on a Saturday, it was literally impossible to lock in the rate they gave me. I was told on Monday (7/27) that I would have needed to move into the apartment on Sunday (when they were closed) to get that rate. This is a classic bait and switch scam. It was impossible to move into the apartment on Sunday 7/26 and they know this.I was guaranteed a rate of $1584 but then they told me it would be $1900. (A little later, the dropped the price to $1700s).This is a shady company with dishonest and unethical business practices. Avoid them at all costs.EDITED FOR RESPONSE: Emily, your quotes are NOT valid for 48 hours. I completed my application on Saturday, July 25 at 4:45PM which means my quote should have been valid until 4:45PM on Monday, July 27. There was no moment in time on July 27 where I could have accepted the quote. It wasnt an option. The quote had already expired, on July 26 when you were closed, according to Victoria.

I Have been living here in Ashford for about 3 years now and I love it, very clean and organized community, I also enjoy the ammenities they are incredible, the gym is very complete, the pool and the jacuzzi always clean. I like to take the doggies to a walk around the pond and location is the most important to me because my work is just 3 mins far, I love walking to the movie theater with my husband, we have everything close, Target, Wholefoods, sprouts, the hww 6 and Downtown just to 10 mins or less, I live in a apartment with two bedrooms and a attached garage, very convenient in the snow days, Gloria in the office is very nice, she is always willing to help...... I wish I can stay here until we can buy a House, I hope they dont rise the rent because until now they have been very fair.

I was very impressed with this property, along with the Olympic size pool. The office staff was very polite and professional. I was also very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility! I was extremely satisfied with my visit and experience there! I have been to many different apartment complexes, and my experience here was by far the best!

This review is very specific. I want to let the maintenance supervisor know that Keith was wonderful. My experiences with maintenance scheduling has not been good. My water heater has been out twice and we were left both days without hot water. It has been cold and snowy. The call was prioritized incorrectly and as a result he didn’t show up until the end of the day. He patiently listened as l unloaded on him about the situation and then sincerely apologized to me for all the mistakes that were not his. I found Keith to be very professional! Thank you Keith for fixing the water heater and being an asset to this place!Monica Hansen

Update - It’s been a month since my first post and we received another letter today about maintenance. For the second time this year, they will be going into the crawl spaces.Update - It’s been two weeks with two messages left for the office and they never called me back. I’m officially giving up. Just know, when you move here, this is what you have to deal with...Update - Called the office and no one answered (which is typical) so I left a message per below. Since I have left several messages and have never gotten a call back, I am guessing I will never hear from them.I currently live here and enjoyed it until ownership changed. I have gotten 10 notices in 5 months saying they will be entering my apartment for various reasons and that I need to remove my dog from my apartment. In my opinion it is unprofessional and an invasion of privacy to do this to residents this much. I understand they are “trying” to improve the community but are doing this in the most inconvenient way. I understand it is hard to find an apartment that doesn’t suck but I would advise to steer clear unless you want a stranger in your apartment without your permission every other week.

We set up a tour last week to look at some apartments and definitely fell in love right away. One of my roommates couldn’t make it to the first tour so Patrick was happy to set up another one where we applied and figured out pricing so we are moving in next week. DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENTThis place is absolutely the worse apartment I have ever lived in and I have been renting for over 20 years.My apartment in summer is always 80 degrees everyday and to no avail they send the maintenance here to do the same thing and not fix the issue. I have had numerous amount of leaks in my apartment to still have damaged ceilings that no one has fixed or has finished fixing. And the parking here is horrible ya have to pay for a spot to not even have a spot to park in. Dont be fooled by the other comments on here saying its great. It has been nothing but a nightmare here. And glad to say that Ill be out of this placeUpdate:No one has tried to contact me to solve this and of course they say they can find that Im a renter here. Living here will give you nightmares. The cops are always here. The staff is incompetent. Maintenance is not existent. We were lied to about our place when we moved in. There unit was not energy efficient as they claimed, it was the opposite. The thin walls and window panes are worthless. The monthly energy bill was astronomical. $150-$200/month during the summer and winter for a 2BR apartment. The windows leak heat. The screens dont cover the windows and bugs get in. They refuse to fix them properly. Our units kitchen was never totally finished. We moved in right after remodeling but they hadnt finished the cabinets. It took them 6 months of constant complaints to finally get around to fixing it. On top of all this, they dont ask for any deposit up front. Instead, they submit a final walk-through, tell you everything is fine, and then send debt collection agencies after you and your roommates a month after you move out. These people are extremely shady. If I could give them a negative rating, as in -5 stars, I would. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. Ashford Belmar deserves an overall average rating of less than 0!

Great experience at the Ashford Belmar apartments. The leasing consultant Patrick Cox made it a comfortable quick and easy experience when applying for an apartment. I got approved and qualified in a matter of minutes. Its also a great location within a mile of convenient shopping. I recommend these apartments over all others in the area.

2 MONTH UPDATE: The apartment has been great so far, I had a couple of maintenance tickets and they were completed fast. However, I removed 1 star due to the parking situation! If you get home after 8pm youre SOL because there will be no spots left. Whats worst is that there are empty reserved spots unoccupied, I even offered to pay less for one and they said no.I just applied for an apartment here. To be honest, I was already in the mindset of leasing there mostly because of the location and the amenities. The leasing process has been very smooth so far, the staff was helpful and helped me get the features I wanted in the apartment. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because of the parking situation. Just by going to the leasing office on a Saturday morning was a pain to park because all spots were taken by a party going on which is understandable but if they charge $75 for a reserved spot and Ill have to deal with that every weekend itll get pretty annoying soon. Im keeping a positive attitude towards that but I do think the $75 for covered parking and $150 for a garage is waaaaay too much.

Ive been enjoying Ashford apartments for a while now. Since day one Gloria has been so helpful and Ive felt nothing but welcomed here. Anytime I had an issue she worked fast to resolve any of my requests, no matter how big or small. The rent is fair for being so close to Belmar and overall it really is a great community. Any time I have been in the leasing office Ive seen nothing but professionalism while at the same time feeling like I personally belong to neighborhood.

I have been a resident here at Ashford Belmar for about a year and a half and it really has been an amazing experience, and I came to the right place. Gloria, who I have worked with the most, answered all of my questions and made it a smooth transitioning. She is now helping us upgrade into a larger floor plan and its as simple as it can be with her. FINAL EDIT(9/6/2020):I am still yet to receive my refund, even after reaching out to the property management group based in Texas CWS. (Who also said a manager will reach out to me multiple times now, they haven’t multiple) At this point I have given up hope that I will receive my money back. Don’t waste your time with the Ashford or any CWS properties for your own sake.Original:Horrible leasing experience. Signed a lease on June 12th, stating that we can move in ON 7/21 & already had and ADDRESS ASSIGNED. Was then told a week prior to move in date that the current tenants havent left & put the incorrect date on their OFFICIAL move out notice but they are going to let them stay until their lease ends in another 2 WEEKS because its apparently not the tenants fault & the apartment is so poorly managed that they just didnt notice that tenants had over stayed their move out date until a week before its supposed to be leased out again??? So now I cannot move in for another month, which does not work for me in my current lease. Went to check on my lease THAT I SIGNED TO LIVE HERE to make sure things were being done per our agreement & would you look at that, my lease is suddenly gone & not accessible to me or my roommates.Unacceptable, was told their were no more places available, was not helped to make things right, was told sorry for the inconvenience too many times to count. Now I am left without an apartment and one of the worst experiences I have ever had leasing, will not lease from here & you should be careful if you do.EDIT: Patrick asked me to remove this poor review very unprofessionally, very shady they wouldn’t want the truth out here for others to see. Beware.EDIT 2: As if this nightmare couldn’t get any worse. I was promised a refund check of $250 by a set date. Called on set date, got answering machines for the last 2 days of attempting to contact them. Now I’m out $250, will update if it is paid back within the 30 days listed on the official email I have. Highly doubt I will be refunded at this point unfortunately...

I am incredibly disappointed in the service offered by this business. My girlfriend and I scheduled a walkthrough of 2 apartments 10 days prior to our agreed upon date. We spoke over the phone with the leasing office 2 days prior to the date, and had a mutual agreement to conduct the walkthrough at Noon. We even called at 9 AM the morning of to confirm this time, and were told the appointment was on the schedule. We arrived at the leasing office precisely at noon, and read a sign that instructed us to call a phone number to speak to a leasing office agent. We called the number and were redirected to the “central headquarters”. The woman there told us someone from the leasing office would be calling us shortly. We waited 20 minutes to no call. We called again and again were redirected. We called a third time and spoke to Victor, who is a backup for the company and he was the only helpful individual we spoke to. He told us he would message the leasing office immediately. This back and forth continued for over an hour without a sign of life from the actual leasing office. We eventually gave up and went to get something to eat. It’s now been 5 hours and we have yet to receive any correspondence from the leasing office. I flew in from Pittsburgh last night and took the day off of work for this walkthrough, only to have my time be completely disrespected. This is not a precedent I would expect of any business, let alone a large apartment franchise. Safe to say I am incredibly disappointed as the apartments looked nice, but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Claudia and Gloria in the Leasing office are so helpful! Always very attentive to the residents needs. They get things fixed/done/set up right away. I have lived in a lot of apartments and this experience at Ashford Belmar has by FAR been my best experience all around! Between leasing office staff and management, the maintenance guys. and all faculty- i have always felt at home and so thoroughly satisfied. The amenities offered are absolutely above and beyond any other complex you will find! I cancelled my gym membership cause their gym is huge and they have just about every machine you can imagine. HUGE pool, saunas and so many other cool club hang out spots! Ashford Belmar is the best!!

I have been a resident here at Ashford Belmar for almost six months. It truly has been a great experience, and I came to the right place. Gloria, who I have worked with the most, answered all of my questions which helped me make informed decisions in selecting a place to live. She takes the time to honor residents and makes sure their needs are met.She and the entire staff have been extremely kind, courteous and welcoming whether I drop by the leasing office to pick up a package or have a maintenance request filled. Ashford Belmar was very welcoming to me! It is a beautiful location with seemingly great people. I went by for a tour, and was graciously greeted by a gentleman named Felix. He had a lot of knowledge and energy, and answered any question i had. The tour was beyond my expectations, but unfortunately a bit out of my price range. Even though Felix has done probably hundreds of tours, he was still enthusiastic and very engaging. I would highly recommend this location, if you have the funds.

HORRIBLE! Would give a 0 if I could! I came to visit, I parked in an uncovered, unmarked spot and my car got towed. There is absolutely no sign saying I needed to pay for a permit as a visitor where I parked. They cost me $270 in towing fees. Then of course when I emailed them theyve just ignored me. Absolutely ridiculous. Beware!

I have lived here for years and the new management is the best yet as well as the office employees (gloria is awesome)! New management has improved a lot and staff always helps me out and is nice when I get my mail and come through the office. The Olympic pool is awesome. The apartment gym is the best in Belmar. Every apartment has its ups and downs but ups far outweigh the downs here! Thanks new management and especially thanks GLORIA for always helping me and my sis out!

Thinking of moving here? Come by at night instead of during the day, so you can see for yourself that there are absolutely no parking spaces available in the parking lots. The city doesnt allow parking on the street that runs next to the apartment buildings and if you try to park in another apartment complex or in the Red Lobster parking, you will get towed. Oh, and you will also be able to see all the giant rats running from dumpster to dumpster if you come by at night.

Claudia at the Ashford was extremely helpful and nice. Every thing was taken care of faster than I would have ever expected. Claudia was off the day I moved in but left everything ready so the staff knew exactly what was going on and everything ran smoothly. Moving is always stress full and the Claudia as well as the staff made it less of a headache. They really made this place feel like home. The facility feels more like a resort than an apartment complex with so many luxurious amenities. If you are looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend you look into the Ashford apartments.

I toured with Danny and he was awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel right at home. This place has literally everything (movie room, golf room, huge pool and cabanas) but my favorite feature was the gorgeous lake that you look out over from the gym and yoga room. Love the natural landscaping and feel of this place. Also the gym is as big as many actual gyms Ive been to. Would definitely recommend.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. The property management group is somehow worse than the one before, impossible to get a hold of and most of them have a super nasty attitude. Assuming you dont ever need anything from the office EVER you might have a decent time here. Tons of mice as well. Actual apartments once you get inside are pretty nice but definitely not worth the jacked up prcies theyre asking for! Do yourself a favor and do not live here!!

The apartment was nice but when we moved out in 2016 we were not notified that there were expenses that accrued due to extra cleaning that was required. Firstly we left the place in great condition so Im not sure what cleaning would have been required. Second rather than notifying us of any charges so that we could deal with it and move on we were INSTANTLY sent to collections. It took them over a year to even reach out to me and when I contacted Ashford Belmar they had no records of there ever even being a charge. I now have to pay nearly 150% of the original charge because they never contacted me prior to sending me to collections.

It is not easy to find an affordable apartment these days in and around Denver. However, Ashford Belmar is far superior with their fun floor plans, large apartments and tons of great amenities, all for roughly the same price as other complexes around the metro area. The staff is always nice and the maintenance guys are respectful and do their job in a timely manner. Very quiet, despite how many people live in the complex. Close to a green belt, park, Belmar shops... we love living here. Get covered parking! So worth the money, and not too expensive.

From the second we walked through the door, every person we encountered in the front office has been very welcoming and kind. We toured the property this past Tuesday and it was the most pleasant and informative apartment tour I have had. Kinzie gave us all the information that we needed and allowed us all plenty of time to take a look around the unit, as well as, the property in whole. We looked at quite a few places, therefore interacting with many people but the team at Ashford Belmar has by far been the most helpful and personable. The absolute worst apartment complex I have ever experienced. The staff is incompetent. Maintenance is not existent. We were lied to about our place when we moved in. The unit was not energy efficient as they claimed, it was the opposite. The monthly energy bill was astronomical. $150/month during the summer and winter for a 2BR apartment. The windows leak heat. The screens dont cover the windows and bugs get in. They refuse to fix the screens properly. Our units kitchen was never totally finished. We moved in right after remodeling but they hadnt finished the cabinets yet. It took them 6 months of constant complaints to finally get around to finishing them to a minimum functional level.They also like to invite tow truck companies to sweep through their parking lots and tow anyone with so much as a flat tire, out of date tags, or the wrong color parking permit, no questions, no warning, they just tow you. $200 later, you get your car back and no apology.On top of all this, they dont ask for any deposit up front. Instead, they submit a final walk-through, tell you everything is fine, and then send debt collection agencies after you and your roommates a month after youve moved out.These people are extremely shady, sketchy and unprofessional. If I could give them a negative rating, as in -5 stars, I would. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. Ashford Belmar deserves an overall average rating of less than 0.

Ive lived here almost a year and can really tell a difference with the new management. They are definitely going out of their way to make things better. Throughout my time here Ive had several minor maintenance issues and the maintenance team has always come through for me. They are always here quickly and are super friendly. The amenities and location are amazing. You wont find a better deal. Its true the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare but this isnt the only apartment complex with such issues; my friends have the same issues with theirs. I have been told by the new management that theyre working to address this and will hopefully come up with a better solution to the current one. Under the new management I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been here for 18 months now, loved the staff especially Gloria. She has been a joy to work with and made this very easy. We decided to move into a bigger apartment and thanks to her the transition has been seamless. The only down side is the parking, so I rented a carport and it was the best decision I have made.

I lived at ashford Belmar for a year. The apartments were well taken care. Fantastic amenities and if I ever had a problem the most friendly and helpful staff who was always there for me! If ever move back to Lakewood. It’s the only place I’d go
