Ive living at the Avalon Denver West Apts for several years. However, a recent experience has really increased my appreciation for the community and staff. I had a total knee replacement surgery about two weeks ago. This was during some scheduled maintenance to the parking lots which meant limited access for residents. On the day Id be released from the hospital, my units parking lot would be closed off. I called the office to Let them know about my surgery and figure out a way to get me to my apartment. They were super concerned and helpful. I was offered a hotel room. Although I appreciated the offer, I really wanted to recover in my own home. The staff arranged for one of the maintenance staff to drive me directly to my door on one of the community carts. He was considerate of my comfort and drove very carefully. I really appreciated his efforts. A few days later, I received a very nice note and gift basket wishing me a speedy recovery. It was a very nice surprise. Totally unexpected. The staff here are just awesome and I totally recommend this complex and staff!

Living here is great. The best part is hands down the leasing team, Veronica does an outstanding job. I moved in in sort of a hurry and she was really helpful with touring and showing me different units. She is incredibley responsive to emails and any small issues Ive had get fixed ASAP, it is great customer service. In addition, she is friendly and goes above and beyond to help the residents here. The Avalon team is really lucky to have her, I havent experienced leasing agents/staff who have as much kindness/personable attitude as well as prompt skill in getting things resolved as her!

I lived at Avalon Denver West for 2 years and it has by far been my best apartment living experience to date. The location can not be beat with South Table Mountain right there. The units are beautiful and spacious and the amenities are great.What really shone for me though was the staff! The maintenance team always responded in a quick and professional manner. The person that truly made this the best living experience for me was Veronica Porte. She was my leasing agent, but consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was right in my apartment and living space. She is always quick to respond and resolve any issue I may have had. She also worked tirelessly to find another apartment for me when I needed a larger space. I can not say enough good things about living here and working with Veronica!

We moved into Avalon Denver West about one year ago and have really enjoyed our time here so far. The apartments are beautiful as are the views and the community amenities! The location is incredible with easy access to I-70 and hiking trails out the backdoor. Although, we are close to the highway there is no noise and it feels very secluded.John, Josh and the rest of the maintenance team fix any issues promptly and always make sure to clean up before they leave. John came back several days in a row to help fix a problem with our lights and each time he came he made sure to sweep before he left. Veronica, our leasing agent, was a pleasure to work with and has gone above and beyond to help with any other issues we experienced!

Avalon Denver West is amazing, the office staff is always so friendly and helpful. The maintenance techs are always super quick to fix any work orders. I have really enjoyed living here for multiple years.Thank you!

The grounds, the apartment, the pool area, the gym and especially the staff here at Avalon are nothing short of amazing.Veronica Porte, Avalon’s Community Consultant, shows patience, poise and professionalism.Being new, I asked a few of my neighbors here in the community and they all told me the same thing, “When it comes to Veronica, it’s not an act. She truly is that awesome.”Highly recommend this joint.

I cannot explain how wonderful both John and Cody have been over the past 4 months since Ive moved in. Ive had a few issues with the apartment that they have promptly addressed as soon as Ive reported them. They are both extremely kind, professional and fantastic about fixing the root cause of the issue. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about both John and Cody. They have made a huge positive impact on my experience with Avalon and I am very grateful for both of them and how they go about their business.

This place is wonderful. Wonderful location. Wonderful amenities. Wonderful staff. Cant say enough. My only possible suggestion would be if they could get the city to locate a light rail station close by so that I could more easily access downtown, but..... beggars cant be choosers.

Ive been so pleased with living in this community. Its beautifully landscaped, Beautiful pool area and well kept. The staff is amazing and I am so happy to be able to have the views that I have.

I moved into the Avalon community in early December and have had a terrific experience from the initial tour, contract processing, and move in. Veronica and Sasha are fantastic, very professional. They return calls quickly and follow-up when needed. The apartment and common areas are well maintained and very clean. It’s a nice quite community close to some great amenities. Great local hiking from my back door! I’ve submitted a couple of maintenance requests and they have been completed on the same or next day. This is a great community and would highly recommend it.

A little bit pricy, but worth the money, great staffs here.

The experience I want to share is in regards to the maintenance engineer, John. It was the most professional interaction I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in terms of maintenance engineers. Not only was he prompt and on time, but he was a teacher as well. He finished the job within minutes of arrival and then took the time to educate me on how to take care of simple issues (similar to the one I was having) in the future.If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would.

I have lived in the community since June 2018. Great amenities & location directly next to South Table trails. The staff goes above and beyond to help - I recently transferred apartments within the community and Veronica worked with me to make the process extremely smooth and easy!

My family of four leased an apartment at Avalon Bay Denver West while transitioning between homes. It was a fantastic experience. Among the highlights: (1) Veronica is an incredible property manager. She is a great communicator and truly cares about the community members. (2) Our apartment was super clean, quiet, and accessible. (3) The general community was welcoming and friendly - people wore masks, stopped to pet the dogs, and offered to help hold doors and etc. Punchline: As long as Veronica is operating this facility I trust youll have a great experience.

Tough to beat the location. Good working facilities. Noise can travel from above neighbors. Outstanding staff who you can be on a first name basis with. For example, Veronica went above and beyond with any random thing I might have needed. Place is worth checking out.

I could not say enough positive things about this community! I moved here in November 2019, shortly after the community changed management companies. The office staff is so professional and welcoming. Veronica and Connie are class acts. Ive made changes to my lease addendums several times (garage locations), they were responsive in a timely manner and more than happy to oblige. Ive only had one maintenance request, other than programming new garage remotes, they were considerate of my schedule and worked around my availability. I have a service animal so when I got home from work after they replaced a light bulb and fixed a laundry room outlet, there was an adorable note and treat for the pup. I was impressed with the level of professionalism from the maintenance staff, thats hard to find! They go the extra mile to make their residents feel at home which sets them apart from other communities in our area. Avalon Denver West is an incredibly clean property with great amenities. I looked at others in the area and decided on Avalon because of the office staff, amenities, floor plans, location, and overall value. Im looking forward to being here through many lease renewals!

I love this community and especially the management team! Everyone is nice and courteous. The location is great! The trail behind the property has been a highlight for our family! Just hope rent would be a bit cheaper. Overall a very nice apartment complex!

I moved into this Apartment on 27 Apr, in the midst of crazy Covid times! I will begin the review with the good, I appreciate Veronica and her team who really helped me do all the leasing process contact less and had the apartment clean and sanitized before I moved in, Kudos! None of the other apartments gave me this confidence. The second best thing about these apartments is the parking situation is really good, we have ample parking for our cars. Love the trails and view from up there. The apartment complex is kept pretty neat, we have men working all round to maintain these apartments in top. And, food trucks! really good selection of food trucks are organized by the apartment complex.Now for the complaints, or complaint, just one issue, Sounds!! This building has absolutely no sound insulation. The noise is such a big problem, and the worst part is I cannot even complain, because the noise i get is probably from a happy pet living in the apartment above who is just jumping around! Or someone walking in the hallway, or someone has doped a spoon! Its all these natural things that sound big through these walls that there is no point in complaining about (you cannot tell the dog not to be happy and jump around!). It gets annoying at times when there is a dog symphony during the middle of the night. I believe people living below my apartment would be experiencing the same when I walk in the hallway. Also I guess, I had created some nuisance when I played music in my house (I wasnt even playing anything loud). Each and every noise travels! If you feel for others living below you, I would suggest wearing rubber footwear to walk around in the house.I would suggest the community to have a more restriction on dog breeds, maybe just allow pets that are less noisy? I dont know if that is offending to restrict pets just because they a little more loud, but with this kind of thin walls, I feel it would be good if they can do that.

Avalon Denver West is a very convenient location - close to Denver and the mountain resorts - with plenty of decent places to recreate and enjoy. The apartments themselves are nice and well maintained, the common areas are very nice. head and shoulders above all are the office staff. They work very hard to keep everything pleasant for the residents. During the Covid SIP the office coordinated all sorts of fun food trucks and kept us well informed about what to expect as the situation worsened and again as it got better. The Maintanence staff kept everything clean and looking great.

Ive been to the Avalon a few times now and each time I have been welcomed with open arms. Veronica showed me a few apartments and was down-to-earth, kind and really cared about my needs. Ive been to other apartments in the area and none of the staff have ever made me feel as comfortable and at home as The Lodge at Denver West. Thank you, Veronica, for making me feel at home before Ive even moved in. I will be back to fill out an application in the near future.

I love living here the community Is very friendly and quiet. The amenities are great. And the place is kept clean. The office staff is amazing Veronica always helps out when she can and really made me feel welcome and tooken care of. Definitely knows whats shes doing.

I was so impressed with the staff here. One of the most friendly I have ever experienced. They were so joyful, positive, and up beat. They are extremely organized and care about the people they work with. Highly recommend this complex, its beautiful!

My husband and I have lived here for about two years. We unfortunately didn’t have a good experience with the previous management company but since Avalon Bay took over, specifically Veronica Porte, we have nothing but good things to say. Veronica has been such a pleasure to work with. She constantly goes above and beyond to help the residents, always greets you with a big smile, is quick to not only respond but to take action. One time my mom was in the hospital and my garage door wouldn’t open. She walked by and asked me what was going on and she immediately got in touch with maintenance and had it fixed right away. Then reached out to me later on to make sure my mom was okay! She takes the time to get to get to know each resident and she is truly amazing at what she does. If you have any questions or are looking for a quiet, updated apartment with great amenities call Veronica!

I want to commend maintenance staff member John Strahmann. John has responded to 2 service requests for me. He is always pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt. Avalon Denver West is lucky to have him, especially in the current labor market.

Excellent place to live with great access to I-70, 15 minutes to get to Denver. Nice community, great staff. Veronica is excellent and very responsive. Nice amenities.

Awesome place to live! The staff (esp. Danielle) are all incredibly accommodating and friendly. Pool, hot tub, clubhouse etc. were great and never that crowded. South table mountain trails in your backyard are a huge plus. Deducting a star because you will definitely hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and the mandatory paid trash service (valet living) is frustrating to deal with and not worth it IMO

Wonderful community with impeccable amenities and beautiful communal spaces. Pool cant be beat and the entire staff is extremely attentive and gracious. The only watch out is the sound between floors which is due to lack of insulation (wasn’t installed during initial construction). You never hear anything from neighbors next door, just those above. It is the ONLY drawback within the community which says quite a lot.

Great location. There are trails literally in your backyard, a park next door, and shopping across the street. Its generally very quiet, save for the occasional upstairs footsteps. One night, I could hear a deer walking on the hill across from my balcony.The staff is top notch. Ténci has been there for us since day one. As a matter of fact, it seems there is little staff turnover, which speaks volumes. The amenities are well maintained and we use them frequently. The grounds are clean and dog friendly. And, in the off chance you need maintenance, the guys get it done in a timely manner.Long story short, I would recommend The Lodge.

I moved into the Lodge in March 2017 and was ready to move out 2 days later. For a luxury complex, there are a lot of very young kids who party and smoke pot. My building smells like pot almost all the time. There are a lot of kids coming and going. I feel like I live in a dorm. There is definitely no insulation as I hear my neighbors stomping around, peeing, screeching and this often happens late at night. I have seen a fire pit on The balcony above me and my deck is covered with embers and ashes. Just lovely. The staff is friendly and the maintenance crew are very sweet. However, I would not recommend living here. UPDATE: Since I first posted, the staff at the lodge has worked very hard to make things better. I appreciate all their efforts and thank you to Tenci for being so vigilant. Things have gotten much quieter and many new, wonderful neighbors have moved in.

Terrific complex: great fitness center and common area with pool. Facilities exceptionally clean and up-to-date. Lots of parking, inside and outside. Perfect location close to shopping and highways ... making for short travel times to the mountains or downtown Denver. Best apartment living Ive experienced.

We have lived here for almost 2 years and are very happy here. All fees that we were to be responsible for were clearly listed by staff and in our lease. We occasionally hear footsteps or voices in the hallway but never during what I would consider quiet time. The neighbors we have met are great people. We have found the management company to be friendly and responsive to our requests. As I read the negative reviews, I guess some people just arent meant to be apartment dwellers!

I have lived in many countries in high end luxury apartments, and lets just say I couldnt wait to move out!! Definitely would not recommend. You can find just as nice of an apartment if not nicer in the Denver metro area for the price and location.

Connie was extremely rude and cared more about being on her cell phone than being attentive during our tour. Take your money elsewhere.

Update Jan 2021: While the location, maintenance staff, and actual apartment interiors are great (it is still a beautiful place to live, dont get that wrong)... there is a big uptick in garage and car break ins around buildings 1 and 2. Two of the break ins happened in the span of a week. Security in this area is lacking. Theres apparently a security company but weve never seen them. Noise from upstairs neighbors is also an issue. You can hear everything. Its definitely worth snagging a top floor apartment.After 3ish years here, weve seen so much turnover in tenants and have less peace of mind from when we first moved here.Previous review: Absolutely love living here! Great neighbors who made us feel welcomed from day 1. Easy online rent payments with breakdown available. Beautiful, spacious, open floor plans and great outdoor space. Love the sense of community here. Natalie and Kaley were super welcoming! The rest of the staff is friendly as well. So happy to call this home!

Good facility marred by noise and poor management. This is the most poorly sound-insulated building I have ever lived in. I constantly hear stomping from the floor above and the radiator from the AC unit of other apartments makes my whole apartment shake. If you live next to neighbors with dogs, you are in a for a real treat. Most leave their dogs on the porch during the evenings and they will bark at every person or car that goes by. The worst part is, as soon as one dog starts barking, every dog in the apartment will start barking and you will have to listen to a dog symphony as you are trying to go to sleep. I have been woken up in the night and in the morning by barking; and even ear plugs do little to mitigate the constant noise. Several complaints to management to no avail. I would not recommend The Lodge to anyone.

We were residents of the Lodge for 2 years. We loved our corner unit apartment and the gorgeous views. Overall, we had a fairly positive experience. For the price however, its not worth your money. The only management staff we ever had a positive experience from was with Tenci. She actually understood our questions and tried to assist when she could. Im writing this review now because of how disappointed weve been with the Lodge and Greystar properties after we moved out. We made sure our place was spotless and they called us to let us know it looked great, and no other charges would be made. We moved end of August, and its now almost January, weve placed at least 5+ calls and we still have not received our security deposit back. We are so disappointed.At the end of our time with the Lodge we also had issues with coming back from trips/vacations and our door would be locked in a different way. For example, we never locked the top lock, but upon returning from vacation both locks would be locked. When we called down to the office, management said someone had been in our unit, but they had no record of whom. This happened several times, and left us with a very uneasy feeling.All in all, we did enjoy it there, but you can get a great level of respect for your unit, and items, at a better price in another apartment complex outside of Denver. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

Lived here for 7 months. Good location, nice facilities, and a staff that seemed to genuinely care. It was a very positive experience.Problems were minor, mostly punch-list stuff from being brand new buildings. Issues were dealt with quickly.Did not hear much noise from neighbors with the exception of bass rumbling when someone turned up a subwoofer.

Just an FYI this apartment charges you for community use of electricity and water on top of what you pay for your own excel/ utility bill. So you are paying for all the lights on all day & night in the office/gym area and the water in the pool/gym showers.

Approach with caution. Lets start with the good. I came in met with Tenci and toured the facility and it was a really great tour. I love the area and the apartments are nice. I wanted to see a floor plan that was different so I came back a few days later and Sam showed me the apartment that I wanted to rent. I went home that night and applied for the apartment. I from there things started to move along. I received my lease to sign electronically on Friday afternoon. I was unable to review it till later that evening (I dont sign any thing with out reading through it) which in this case is a good thing. I got a lease that was higher in rent than what was quoted in my welcome letter. I promptly emailed Tenci and Natalie about the discrepancy. To this day I have not heard back. I have called and left messages on their voicemail, the corporate voicemail, sent several emails, and even called the office phone which has not been answered. I at this point I am beyond disappointed and stuck in a huge bind because I was supposed to be in my apartment and now am not and having to look elsewhere and move on the fly.... Not how any one wants to start a new chapter.

MY WIFE AND I MOVED INTO THE LODGE IN FEBRUARY 2016. WE REALLY LIKE LIVING HERE THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE APARTMENTS, BUILDING AND THE PROPERTY ARE GREAT.

Top notch apartment complex. Wonderful amenities.
