The company should state they don’t service all of Polk county and they do not return calls. Called 3 times without a response. Had to call higher up when I was told that they don’t want to drive to your location. If that was the case we should have been given a call and told me that. I bet if economy was in a recession the case would have been different. Customer service is rude and so unprofessional. I hate leaving reviews period but this company deserves feedback and I am giving mine.

Wow! They did such an amazing job! First off, the gentleman who came to our home was knowledgeable and friendly. The quote that we got was reasonable for the size pool we have and they were able to get started in a fairly quick time frame. We could not be happier with the outcome now that the pool is filled and almost ready to swim in. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Think twice about a San Juan pool with American Pool Builders. Our pool is practically brand new and the install was a smooth process but our pool has some sort of defect and American pool builders won’t return our calls or come look at it to tell us what could be wrong. An email basically said it isn’t their problem and to contact San Juan. Well, San Juan apparently is very busy up north and won’t be able to see us until maybe January. Meanwhile our pool is getting worse and worse. Buyer Beware.

Good reviews so I called July 1, 2020 to get an installation quote. I was told they were 4-5 weeks behind to have someone come & give me an estimate. I called again 1st week of August and was told the salesperson Emily had my number and would call me soon. We are at the end of August and no callback. If the owner reads this look me up in your office under Rob Velez with a 973 area code number. Im still open to getting an estimate for a pool installation and will change this rating

Built my home in 2009, and out of 30 some contractors only 4 contactors I would reccomend and call back again, and ihere we are are 10 years later still reaching out to them. They are that good, they will give you the best price and lay out for what you can afford. The crews clean up after them selves, they did not leave your place a mess until the next phase of work. The work they did was really nice, top notch. I was worried about the tile because my husband did tile in Vegas for years, he was satisfied with it...yep! I would never go anywhere else for pool advice or to have a new pool put in. I have called in so many times, and received attention I needed right away. Good Company

Great from start to finish. All were pleasant to work with. They went the extra mile. Emily was great in the design and estimate. Jeff and Matt both made sure things were done right in the construction with hands on throughout the project. The pool is beautiful. Easy as falling-off-a-log into your nice new pool.... What a pleasure to deal with competent, straight-forward upright individuals today... We all know its getting harder, but what a relief,and the finished product, wow, I cant say enough.They took a 53 yr. old battered and bruised, 4 former owner backyard pool and turned our ole swimin hole into banquet-for-the-eyesto rival any 5-Star Hotel....
