They really dont care about their patients. Want them out of the building by 5 even if the animal is critical. They want you to take them to maume animal clinic at the cost of 500.00 then bring them back in the morning. Not the Dr Kellys clinic that it was before some big company out of Texas bought her out. My dog wouldnt have made it and they knew this. My sweet Ruby.

They were timely as I was a new patient. I was very pleased with the Awesome care & surgery the gave my dog. He’s doing Great & loves going to the vet. The Girls are SO GOOD with the animals. I would highly recommend Dr Sheimo & the crew for your pet care. Kim

They treat your pet as family and they helped me through my first adult vet appointment. Everyone was super nice and they have an amazing set up for picking up/ dropping off your fur babies! I would never hesitate to take my girl back to them!

I have now taken 3 doggies, and 1 kitty here to Kelly Vet and have had nothing but excellent care for my fur babies. From the exciting starts of their lives, to a very heartbreaking goodbye, the staff have been amazing, professional, and very kind and caring through it all. Even with the curve ball of Covid thrown into the mix, they made the best of the situation and continued to give the best care to our pets.

They have too many pets to care for and not enough office hours to see all of their patients. I felt that the care I received was not what it should be because of that. Waiting weeks to get my sick pet in (not an emergency but urgent) is ridiculous. They should have time booked out for sick animals and not all routine visits. There lack of communication in the office is poor as well and the way they talk to their clients. I didn’t feel safe leaving my pet with them and waiting I the car.

I found my girl not moving and breathing very shallow, after her vet refused to see her Kellys vet didnt hesitate to get her in immediately, one of the scariest times of my life owning pets and they were nothing but amazing. Dr. McQuade was simply amazing. She sent my pup to the er vet in toledo even called there to check on her and got her in first thing in the am.

They have long waits, poor customer service, and seem rushed when caring for you pet. Switched to Adrian Animal Clinic. Far better service and much kinder people.

Says on website and on the info page for google they take emergencies but when I called to confirm they told me they dont. Definitely not happy. They need to remove that service from their page

Never again. I worked at a vet office for years and never once saw a pet leave a desex surgery as upset as my dog, and have never experienced such a dearth of care and professionalism. This place came highly recommended by friends and I took my new pup in for a spay. The price I was quoted was fully twice the amount of other clinics, including the one my family has gone to for years on the other side of the state. When I picked her up she seemed traumatized and was returned without her blanket — I had to go back and wait while they hunted around for it — probably in the trash. Clearly nothing was provided for her comfort. They charged $50 over the original quote and then called me a liar when I corrected them. I neither met nor spoke with the vet who performed the surgery and when I inquired about post op care was told “everything is in the bag.”

This has been my husbands vet since before we met. They are very quick to get us in when we have a last minute emergency. They call us to follow up on how our pets are doing after they’ve received care. We took our oldest dog to them when it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge and they were so gracious and warm and treated our family member with respect. For some they are pricey, all vet care is. But I wouldn’t cut costs to provide any of my family members care. They are patient with me when I call 3 times in a row and ask multiple questions about care. I’ve never had a bad experience. And I’ve personally been going to them for 5 years.

Been going here for around 25 yrs. The new protocol is nobody inside the clinic, so u must surrender your pet to them and will return after all procedures are done. I inquired about this a couple times and voiced my displeasure with not being able to go with my pets ver the past year. I have since found out doc Kelly no longer owns this and it was bought out by a bigger company. That explains the poor service and snappynees of the secretaries. I informed them that I will prolly b moving my pets and they said good, they were really busy anyways. If this is how they act on the phone I hate to think how they act while alone with a difficult pet. I am encouraging all my family and friends to sever connection with this clinic and find a better one. My pets lives are not worth the risk.

Excellent vet office - every staff member Ive interacted with is very friendly and helpful! They recently helped get my cat and I prepared for an international trip and it was a completely stress free experience thanks to Kelly Vet, despite my somewhat last minute travel plans. Great COVID-19 procedures in place as well.

The staff is always so nice when I come in. They were able to get me in on such short notice today which I greatly appreciate! Overall a trustworthy and nice place to take your pet to 😊

This vet clinic is absolutely amazing. The helped my fur baby pass comfortably into the next life with care and compassion. They are now doing a wonderful job taken care of our new fur baby, they always go the extra mile and every one there so friendly.

It was the first time I ever brought my cat to the vet and I asked them over the phone will they be able to help me because I believe she is deaf and they said yes. Well when I got there they told me they couldn’t test her to see if she was then they asked me did I want a cardboard carrier and I said yes then they went alongside and said it’s $8.00 like whaaa?!?! They said it after I put my cat in the box. So I paid $55 for them to just play with her. I would not recommend this place at all and this is the worst 1st experience ever...but the assistant vet person was very sweet that is why I even gave it another star

Dr. Shimo and the staff are the best. Dr S is thorough, compassionate and takes time to explain options. My bulldog Buster loves her and her staff. Prices are reasonable as well. We have never had a bad experience!

The Vets and techs here give very good care. I have never had any complaints. The front desk staff are also quite easy to deal with. The facility is comfortable and well kept. The prices are fair for what they deliver. My only complaint is that parking can be difficult.

Friendly staff. Id say its expensive. Office visit is 50 to begin with. I went for my cat. For amoxicillin and a cone and for them to shave and clean wound . which Im not sure what they meant by clean wound. I didnt it notice it cleaned . they shaved the surrounding area. All that was 92 dollars:/ I wasnt to happy about that.

2 weeks ago I took my kitten in, and I was told that she wasnt pregnant or had worms. She just had a big belly. Yeah my 6 month old kitten just popped out 4 babies. Awesome job guys

They have been my vet clinic for many years. Saved one of my dogs life (pyometra) (still alive) and one of my cats life (high blood pressure) (lived to be 18). Made the final months of another of my dogs life comfortable until I made the decision to put her down (inoperable cancer) (lived to be 13). I currently have 5 furbabies that they care for: 2 dogs (currently 14yo & 10yo) and 3 cats (currently 9yo, 8yo, and 2yo). There is more than one vet here and I would recommend ANY of them, as all of them have cared for my babies at one point or another. They all have hearts of gold.

It goes beyond being a poorly run service. Maybe its because were new clients, but I cant stress enough the grief they caused us today. They knew we were bringing in a feral cat. They knew it would be hard to catch and crate. They let us sit there for a half hour before telling us they had to cancel due to overbooking. I will tell anyone who will listen not to trust them.

My partners dogs vet. I just got a puppy few weeks ago. Was going to use this place aswell. They sell packages for vaccination. Was going to be $183 total. That is for all the visits.Then i found out from a coworker that Tracker Supply has a mobile vet every Sunday. Pay for each individual visit. About the same total.I decided to go with that instead. So I forgot the appointment set at Kellys. The clerk from Kellys called me and I explained I wasnt happy with having to pay for visits in advance. Apparently she didnt like that. She said in a rude tone that i should have called them, said by and promptly hung up on me.Frankly if they didnt charge for advance visits i wouldve use them. Personally i wouldnt have such a rude person running calls there. Shouldnt be calling peoples personal phones with an attitude.

$$$$ Stop at the bank before you stop here..The story: My dog had a seed in her eye and a small scratch, vet diagnosed it as just the scratch, performed scratch test $160+ bill.2 days later eye was still irritated, took my dog to a vet in Athens, sedated her, removed seed, performed scratch test, and reversed sedation $120...$40 more at Kellys for 1/2 the work?? Something doesnt add up.
