I love living here! They fix any issues right away, management is great, Laci has always been awesome, and the amenities are amazing. I don’t really have any complaints. 🤷‍♀️

Only gave 1 star because you cannot post a review with 0 stars. Do Not move here! You do not get what you pay for! We have had issues with our breakers tripping since February and it has not been fixed. Maintenance is non existent and the office is always closed. I finally got through to the answering service and low and behold they called me back to let me know the office is closed down again and no maintenance will be coming out. Residents are told to call the electric company for issues. Guess who pays for that....that’s right, the residents! Guess I have to make another call to the City of Lake Jackson, AGAIN

Great place to go to get your vehicle keyed, to the tune of $2,300 to repair. At minimum 6 or 8 vehicles. This happens regularly. Vehicle break-ins as well. No security cameras. Parking lot not well lit. Staff sell/share your personal info to open unauthorized accounts.

Friendly and helpful management team! Apartments are clean, well maintained and spacious. Only challenge is some noise transfer between the suites and loud HVAC in the apartment which is part of the construction style of these buildings. There’s lots of parking available, and the amenities like pool and free coffee in the clubhouse is a very nice gesture :)

About to have our first holiday season here and we are excited! Didnt think apartment living could be so nice! I love going walking, residents and staff always smiling at you...feels good! Speaking of staff I love Michelle Meyer! She is awesome even checking on me after I had a major surgery....who does that?? Michelle does!! Ok, let me be fair, everyone on staff has been nothing but nice! Ms. Demi in the office and sorry I dont know the maintenance guys names but they always smile and wave. All very nice. So...today I am thankful for where we live, everyone who works here and that goes double for Michelle!

My boyfriend and I moved into Plantation Park about a month ago and so far every single person we have encountered, (staff and fellow residents) has been so helpful. One person in particular, Michelle, was very accommodating. She walked me through the entire process taking time to explain every detail, which is something that meant a lot to me considering this is my first experience renting an apartment.On move in day our unit was immaculate and all the appliances were working perfectly. I haven’t had a single reason to contact maintenance at all because everything has been great. The gym is awesome, the clubhouse is awesome. I have recommended this place to everyone I have encountered that has been looking for a nice complex ever since we moved in. Love calling this place home!

I recently moved out of Plantation Park due to a job transfer but feel the need to share my experience here. Since the new company took over probably a year ago it was fantastic and I’m so sad I had to leave. The maintenance guys are always friendly and the ladies in the office always made me feel welcomed. They always had treats for the doggies and took pride in their place. Will miss everyone here. Had the best neighbors and will be back to visit at the pool!

I’ve been at Plantation Park Apartments for almost a year now. The staff and management are so friendly and helpful! My experience has been even more wonderful since the addition of Brandy!The amenities are amazing, especially the pool!! If you have pets, this is the place to be. Huge dog park and very nice neighbors! Will definitely renew in June.Thank you so much for being truly welcoming and kind to me and my dogs! Wouldn’t think of living anywhere else! Shannon

Been here since July of 2019. First rate all round. Office staff is helpful and friendly. Grounds and maintenance folks are prompt and thorough. The grounds always look terrific. Im proud to come home to this place.

Do not move here! Loud neighbors slamming doors, yelling and arguing. People speeding through parking lot. Several near misses with speeders. Broken access gates.

We have been here only 1 month but we really enjoy living here,. Our experience moving in was great, the office staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartments and grounds are well maintained, as for the pool it is first class!!!!!!! All of the staff in the office are great, any issues they are there to help and always seem to have a very positive attitude. The Plantation Park Apartments are by far the best we have ever experienced.To sum it all up - We find it just like home (except better- we dont have any yard work or maintenance ) A Special thanks to Kelly (Assistant Manager) for making us feel welcome from the very start.Mike & Penny

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Tony, Kelly, and the entire team bent over backward to get me into an apartment home all the way from Minnesota! They guided me through the entire process, informed me of move-in specials they had, and they even hung out with my dog while I ran back to work! Absolutely top-notch people in the rental office, every single one!Now, on to the property. Oh. My. Goodness. Maybe its because Im from the chilly North, but I feel like Im at a resort! The pool is AMAZING, the landscaping is gorgeous, and the attention to detail is everywhere. Theres even a HUGE Bark Park for the pets...did I mention that they have no breed or weight restrictions for dogs??? My greyhound is going to LOVE that park!The apartments themselves are beautiful. Theres a ton of attention to detail in the fit and finish of the entire place. The dark woods, the stainless steel appliances, full-size washer and dryer...its very pleasing to the eye. The rooms are a good size, you can definitely fit a king-sized bed in the master and still have plenty of room to move. Oh, and WALK-IN CLOSETS in both rooms of the 2x2 that we are in. Love it!This is my favorite detail. They have valet trash service. You set your trash in a bin outside your door, and they take it to the trash for you every night. Who DOES that?My husband is still in Minnesota, and they made signing all of the paperwork involved a breeze, even without him here. If youre moving to town, Ive NEVER had a better experience with people who are willing to go the extra mile. They were also SUPER-fast. I stopped in on the first, and I moved in today, 7/3. Amazing!I promise you they didnt pay me to put this review up. I am just over the moon with this entire experience. Thank you so much to everyone involved in our move into our new home!

The entire staff at this complex is so friendly and helpful. Brandi has helped my move go very smooth. Pedro and Garvis came to my rescue and moved something very heavy up the stairs for me. Kelly is always a pleasure to work with, as is all of the office staff.

Love the location its very easily accessible and easy for family coming from out of town to find because I mean who doesnt recognize Buc-ees!!

The ice maker in the door, smooth surface stoves, granite counter tops and wood floors are simply luxurious. The staff makes every effort to complete task as quickly as possible. I moved in about a month ago with my husband and nine-month-old. So far, we love it here! Its our little piece of paradise. Unfortunately, our washing machine went out a few days ago. Submitted a maintenance request online, and Garvis and Pedro responded within a day, doing everything they could to fix the machine. It was unfixable after many attempts, so they ordered us a new one ASAP and made sure it was in before the weekend! SO grateful for them and all of the staff here. Everyone is so accommodating and very sweet to my baby, as well as to us. THANK YOU!

My husband and I moved here a couple weeks ago. Checked out a few different apartment complexes in the area. None of them even compared to these apartments. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The amenities are top of the line. Feels like you are at some kind of resort in a different country while you are enjoying the pool area.. If you are looking to move to this area I highly recommend this place.

Lived there for a little under a year. It was ok. Nothing great. Too many people who dont respect the property. Very noisy. AC doesnt work well at all. Cars speed up and down the parking lots. Overpriced.

I share the same dilemma as Laura. These apartments are horrible with accounting. A month or two of free rent sounds nice until you have to frequently fight with them on owing money and the incurred fees. Take my advice: DONT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE!

As I am writing this the apartment across from me has 3 guys on the balcony who are drinking and making a ton of noise. It is 1:23 AM on a Wednesday morning. I looked out the window and what was I greeted with? One of the guys was urinating off the Balcony onto the walkway that I am supposed to utilize every day. Two days ago someone attempted to break into my apartment while my wife and I were sleeping. Had I not been home with my weapon in hand who knows what could have happened. Just a couple weeks prior to this, there was a string of vehicle break-ins. When my wife addressed these things to the office staff she was told We have an on site officer who lives here. Well guess whos vehicle it was that was broken into? THE ON SITE OFFICER! And it was HIS GUN that was stolen out of his vehicle. From the start at this place it has been a nightmare. They screwed up when I signed papers to move here and ever since then they have been after 400+ Dollars that I was initially told I didnt owe. I regret moving here every single day. It may be the nicest quality apartment in town, but it is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Dont by any means move here.I am adding an additional comment. Since I posted this review the management has fixed the money discrepancy and was apologetic for the mishap. They also offered to buy my wife and I dinner for our troubles which is pretty nice too. Great quality property and appliances. Management is working on improving the operation of the site. The neighbors are still loud and annoying at early hours so that seems like it will never change.

Plantation park is awesome, the staff here is professional and very helpful. The very best in Brazoria County!! Really love the pool and grill area the outdoor TV is awesome for entertaining friends !!! Recommended for anyone looking for a nice safe community with great people !!

Excellent place to live. Gated community where the gates actually are used. They appreciate the residents who live here and every now and then do a little something to show their appreciation.

The pool is nice and provides great entertainment neighbors are for the most part ok the apartments are nice but ants and roaches and spiders get in way to easily. Gym is nice but would benefit with a bench ress setup and would be cool to get a basketball court instead of grass.

Avoid this complex if you want to live in clam and peace. The personnel are very slow and dont respond quickly if you have a problem in your appartement. Very bad experience unfortunately

Worst place ever we gave a 90 day notice to break our lease and the manager said we were good to go and all we had to do was pay the months left that we would be there. When we left we didn’t owe anything but now I got debt collection calling me because the apartment wants 5000 dollars on top of what the manager said was ok for us to leave. I’ve been out of the apartment for over 4 months on top of that. That manager should be reprimanded for lying to the tenants very unprofessional for sure!

Just moved in a couple of weeks ago. They have a Wine down Wednesday and that’s pretty cool it’s away to get to know the staff and residents since me and my friend aren’t from around here helps out.I do agree the maintenance could do better the head man is a lazy POS and very unprofessional. The gym is remote controlled not locked 🤣 and the pool has a pass code which makes it safe and taken care of....I have read some of the reviews and people please don’t take the word of an angry resident.Plantation Park is where it’s at! Unlike any other apartments in Lake Jackson..Usually people that complain about bugs are the reason they have bugs.

We have been here since June 2016. I was so excited about moving here since everything looked super nice. From granite countertops to stainless steel appliances to all the amenities that come with paying $1800+. Now, I regret moving here. It is Sunday today and our AC is out. It is 80+ degrees in my apartment and I have a 9 month old and a 5 year old who are both wearing minimal clothing and are still sweaty. I called the apartments and got fwd to their emergency line. I received a call back only to be told that they wouldnt come out because it is raining and wet outside. Ok, I understand they cant come because its been raining on and off. So Ill go to a hotel for the night because, again kids, and its hot and humid. The lady was really nice and said she would ask the manager if we would be reimbursed for the amount spent on the hotel/inconvenience. She calls me back 3 hours later to tell me that Karen, the manager of the property said No, there will be no reimbursement. So I am just suppose to watch my kids with red cheeks and sweaty faces in our home, that we pay almost $2000.00 dollars for?Happily until tomorrow when and if they can come fix our ac?? I am beyond upset. Not to mention all the other things that have been happening around here. Plus the $150 fee I was charged last month and this month for a mistake from one of their employees. I still havent been contacted about THAT reimbursement. They have gone through so many employees in the last year that it feels so strange walking into the office.It is Monday and I went to my apt this morning, the maintenance man is working on it. It is 11 am and 95 degrees. I hope this gets fixed soon. I havent received a call from anyone updating me on whats going on. I had to call them to see if someone was going to come fix it. Jessica, super nice lady, said they were on their way to fix it at 9:30. I just want to have ac and go back to my apt.

Good evening,We are residents at Plantation park in Lake Jackson. Right now as we speak we have human sh## in front of our door. Your maintenance men where working at the apartment across the hall with a wet vac. And finished the job and emptied the vac debate in front my door. Im so tried of the place . Tomorrow I have to pay this note of 1800.00 dollars. And this is the mess I have to live with. I am so ready to move. Every other day its something. Im so sorry to disturb . But enough is enough! Im ready to leave here. Not what we expected at all !

In regards to security,convenience,upscale living & ammenities...no place in Lake Jackson has comparable environmental factors. Upon moving to Texas from Chicago,residing in a apartment-style home was never an option,but after viewing & walking the property,as well as interacting with the staff on duty,availability of garages & pool area for entertainment...it was a no-brainer,its truly a home away from home-

Terrible staff and management! There are already several comments about how terrible the manger and their staff are. It is quite interesting to see how consistent of those one-star comments are over the year.

Fantastic apartments, but the manager leaves a lot to be desired. She greatly lacks professionalism. Be careful of bills received because they do not accurately match the charges for your unit.

The pictures of the property do not reflect the poor quality of both the property and the management company. Both the old management (capstone realty) and the new management (roscoe) were unprofessional. In the unit, there were German cockroaches that they did not believe were there until I sent them pictures! The construction was awful with paint splaters everywhere, cracked flooring, sulfur in the water which smelled terrible, leaks from the washing machine, dirty stairwells, the air conditioning unit was so load that you could barely sleep, the gates were never shut so anyone can walk in, they often locked the pool and rec area even during normal operations. For being a “luxury” apartment, it was the lowest value and worst experience living there. I could not wait to move out of the property. I highly recommended you live somewhere else in lake Jackson.

Management constantly changing. Unable to keep accurate records. I moved out of my apartment on the 17th of October and it is now Nov 29th and Ive yet to have my deposit returned. They tried to tell me I owed a nearly 500.oo electric bill and was also going to have a fee for not having electric service the last month. Ive never in my life had a 400+ electric bill nor was I without service. So I provided proof of service dates from my electric company. My apartment was in good condition. I even touched up the paint. Yet I am still fighting to get my deposit back. After numerous calls and promises of failed callbacks, and return emails. I get excuses we had managers that werent doing there job, its not our fault. Or after being told the New manager has had my file for well over a week Ive only had the file for 24hrs. For the price I paid for 16 months they can do much better than this. My next step is a lawyer. I think with so many of us in construction maybe they think we will just give up when we move.***** UPDATE 81 DAYS IN AND RESUBMITTED PROOF AND STILL CANT PROVIDE ME AN ANSWER AS TO WHEN I WILL RECEIVE A REFUND*****

The apartment are great..if you like paying 1800 for a community that leaves their gates open every now and then, appearently has sewage water in the water line because thats the only smell here and the security gets robbed of their own gun... regret it, waiting for my lease to end, because breaking a contract here is a whole other story

I was a resident at Plantation Park for a year. During that year it was not enjoyable to live here. It may seem nice on your tour but please know that does not tell the whole story. Side Note: If you are a recent college grad moving to the area to work in the plants in Freeport I highly suggest you live in Pearland vs Lake Jackson.My complaints are many and I will try to list them as succinctly as possible.First, the water is absolutely disgusting. The ground water in the area has a strong sulfur smell to it and if you so much as leave for a weekend you will come home to the most foul smelling water you have ever encountered. The water has some extremely smelly bacteria in it and if the water is not run every day they will grow in your water heater. You would think theyd install some sort of treatment but that never happened.Second, the maintenance is inconsistent at best. It took 4 months for them to replace a light bulb for me. Not to mention that I put in work requests about once a week during that time through various means (in person, on the phone, through the website, direct email) and somehow all of them got lost. I was assured that they would get to it asap every time I spoke with them. It got better towards the end of my lease but I would say that isnt usual.Third, the workmanship on these apartments is not good. Paint splattered all over tile and door knobs, trim being too short, faucets that are way too short for the sink in the bathroom, doors that are ridiculously hard to close and open, the list goes on.Fourth, bugs will be all over your apartment. I am by no means a messy person. I dont leave food out anywhere and seal everything. Yet, there were numerous massive cockroaches, ants, and spiders that came into my apartment. I believe this has to do with the above point of the apartments not being built well. There are way too many easy ways for insects to find their way into your apartment. I was on the third floor and still had issues.Fifth, the community is not considerate. The pool is supposed to close at a predetermined time during the week but that doesnt matter because the gate to the pool is useless. Just expect there to be someone out there partying with loud music and yelling at 1 in the morning 2 weekdays every week.Sixth, the apartments are not safe. As other reviewers have commented the gates are hardly every closed. Maybe half of the time. This allows anyone to come into the complex and do as they please. I had numerous times where someone pulled on my door to see if it was locked. I can only imagine what would have happened if it wasnt.Seventh, the management is abysmal. I dont even know where to start with these guys. Be prepared to see a new face in the leasing office every week. I dont know why but they cant seem to hang on to staff. Many others seem to have a lot of issues with them in regards to security deposits and I am in the same boat. For reference: I moved out in January and it is now June. I still have not received my deposit back despite numerous calls. Not to mention that they told me I owed them a full month of rent among crazy other fees before I confronted them and they told me it was a mistake. No it wasnt, you were just hoping I was too scared to confront you and would just pay. I still have yet to receive money that is rightfully mine after being told its in the mail or that it was never in the mail, the previous manager didnt do that. These guys have a track record for lying. I wouldnt trust them for anything. Dont expect to get your deposit back unless you take them to small claims court and honestly I just might do that.Please stay away from these guys, they are just going to screw you over. Find someplace else to live and dont give these people your money until they get better.Edit: Still no deposit back in July. I went and spoke to them like they suggested in the reply, they told me it would be two weeks. Its now a month later and I have not received my deposit.

My experience at Plantation Park Resort has been a pleasent one.Upon my arrival here, my husband and I have had a wonderful experience here. The move in was smooth no complaints. Just what we discussed on the telephones conversation. We had no idea what expect. But everything was in place !. Your office agents are the best. This place is horrible. Cant keep office staff longer than a week it seems. I was promised in Sept 2016 a certain price for my apartment, and then when I went to sign the lease, the lady who promised me a price, got fired and they upped the price I was originally told. Fine. I still chose to sign. Mistake. Not only did they charge me what I signed, but they nickel and dime you any chance they get. The ants in the apartments, no matter how many times they spray or you spray, are atrocious. They get into every thing you own and the fridge, pantry, your bed, the bathroom and your closet on your clothes. The A/C will never work properly and they continue to fix it. The lights burn out within a month and you have to continue to get onto the maintenance staff to fix them (or remind them cause they lost your request). The dog park was a huge reason I signed the lease. It was awesome until more people started moving into the apartments. People do NOT pick up after their dogs, the grass is hardly ever cut on time, they do NOT replace the bags for you to pick up your dogs poop. The dog park connected to Plantation Parks belongs to the next door apartments, and their dogs are aggressive. My dog was attacked THROUGH the fence. When I told the office manager to have maybe a net or something put up, they said theyd talk to the other apartment complex about it. Nothing changed. Small dogs are able to go back and forth through the fence. My dog constantly got sick after going in the dog park. People dont follow the pool rules. They allow their children to bring water balloons into the pool area and then leave garbage and food everywhere. People speed around the corners and Ive nearly gotten hit several times walking my dog. My vehicle was hit by another resident and the office didnt care. People have old cars that sit in the same parking spot and leak oil all over the ground. The gates to enter the property are left open or they take forever to open. The office allows SPECIFIC people to park their boats on property but will not allow others. My neighbor had an office staff member go into her apartment without permission or without letting her know. The employee then took her medication and walked around her apartment to see what else he could take (she had nanny cams installed). When it was brought to the managers attention, he was put on leave and allowed to return to work shortly after. The office staff does not communicate with each other whatsoever. I finally gave my 60 day notice and was out August 31st. I handed in all my keys and cleaned the apartment top to bottom. I received a phone call September 9th asking if I was still living in the apartment....????!!! 2 days later on the 11th I received a bill for nearly $300 owing them money for rent, and other misc things that I have no idea where they came from.They do have good things such as free food sometimes and...thats about it. The end.

Plantatiom park has wonderful staff 😄... i love my apartment its so nice and the place is so calm .. my kids have a blast in the pool, its so kid friendly, the gym is always sparkling clean like the rest of the place, and the staff always have goodies for my kids, i love my appt !!!

Living here is nice, but people really need to be more respectful. Its 10:30 PM and you can hear from the courtyard kids screaming, music blasting, and loud cheering..

The club house or business center is not available after 6pm. Residents do not have evening access.. For months, other residents and myself have inquired about the rental of the club house (which is for show) and was verbally promised to us in the signing of our lease. The manager does not even speak to us or address this issue. Maybe I will get a response on here.

Full of thieves and very inconsiderate people. Packages left at your door are stolen within the hour. Pool area is supposed to be closed at 9pm. But its the party area for scum every night till 2am.
