Ended up getting dipped powder because they basically refused what I asked for which was a full set with a color nail polish. I was basically haggled into getting shellac which I made clear I didn’t want..if your regular polish works on feet then why wouldn’t it work on hands? Is your polish expired or poor quality or you’re just strapped for cash and want to charge more for a service? I won’t be back. I didn’t even want my polish to last because I like to change my colors. Rate 3 out of 10

They did such a great job on my little girls nails!

I had an unpleasant experience here.This nail salon is old and outdated and didnt feel the cleanest. I walked in, no customers, so they were able to start on me right away. The 2 ladies there didnt have much customer service. They werent sweet or friendly and that is not a huge deal to me, but they came off a little aggressive. I was the only customer so one worked on my nails and one worked on my toes and neither of them talked to me, they just talked to each other the entire time in another language. Again, not a huge deal, until the lady who was doing my nails cut my left thumb because she was being rough while cutting my cuticles. The place already didnt feel the cleanest so I was not happy at all that she cut me. Cuts are not and should not be common for manicures or pedicures. And to add to that, the lady didnt even apologize or say anything, but just held some pressure on it. When I got home and washed my hands, I noticed that she not only cut my thumb but because she was so rough with filing and cutting, I had small little blisters on the side on my nails that stings from touching and washing.Price was average. A gel manicure and deluxe pedicure was $60.I wouldnt come here ever again. There are too many nail salons out there that are actually good and clean with friendly nail technicians that won’t cut you.

The water for my Manicure was HOT. My nails were supposed to be 1 color, but he didn’t add enough water to the power in some sections. He came off aggressive and kept asking personal questions, like where I went to school etc. He made me very uncomfortable. He was very pushy about the manicure. I didn’t want to do it but he literally forced me to. I wouldn’t recommend. I would give it 0 stars.

This was very bad I went there once and she did a cool job I thought then a week later my whole nail fell off blood and all this is not good shut it down!! It was a very painful experience even when she did my nails I felt a burning feeling on them I suggest don’t come here.

They where very ruff, she did not do my nails how I wanted them she did them how she wanted to was the most painful set I ever had .

Nice and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The lady was polite and did a good job on my nails and eyebrows. This is definitely the best nail salon I have been to in Lake Charles.

Just recently I went to Pretty Nails for the first time and got my bi monthly pedicure. A friend of mine got a certificate and she treated me so of course I couldn’t pass it up! However, my experience was absolutely terrible. As I’m getting what is supposed to be a relaxing experience, I have been cut and now have an infected big toe. I’ve gotten many pedicures and I’ve had a difficult hang nail or two but this woman had to have cut too far on my nail and decided to just keep pulling! And from the looks of the infection, the tools had to have been dirty. So do yourself a favor and don’t go to pretty nails.

The only place in lake Charles I will ever go. Ladies are very good with detail.

They are always so friendly and eager to get my nails the way I want them exactly. No matter how many times I change my mind in 30 minutes bahahaha.

I loved it until I went for my fill in and they tried to charge me $15 more than the weekend before and I wanted the EXACT same thing, I dont understand why they would do that.

Staff was very friendly but there overall service is horrible Im from baton rouge but my husband works out there so I googled them and read reviews but they were all lies my feet were still rough their stuff is very outdated and my lashes looks so freaking horrible til 1 came off in 4 days... My mother went to this salon, requested a certain type of nail style, was told they could do it, then was told her nails needed to be longer. From experience, I know ombré can be done on shorter nails, just takes experience and time. She called me In tears, so upset about how they acted.Then, when I went to rectify the situation, I was blown off and treated like I was going to bomb the place. Horrible customer service and overall a horrible establishment. I would never step foot in that place again and will warn everyone I can about how poorly this place is run.
