Customer service was fantastic, was helped by Chelsea in particular who was very accommodating and helpful, had an issue on my own end that delayed the service and Chelsea was very patient and nice regardless. If you prepay online with a debit card you will be required to bring a secondary form of identification or a credit card at the time of pick up anyways.

Worst customer service ever. They treat customers poorly I could tell from the second I walked in to complete my reservation there was going to be a problem. I wasn’t even greeted properly the gentleman in front of me was treated better than I was but apparently mrs. Marisol couldn’t be bothered with dealing with back to back customers so she treated me poorly from the start. Never again will I ever come back to sixt rental until they hire better customer service reps. A smile and good attitude could go a long way. I will be contacting corporate. I don’t recommend this place or this location to anyone who respects their time and expect to get treated like a human.

Very poor customer service. They cant make up their minds on way of payment. Will let you use a debit card online, but then want a major card that is different than what is used to pay for the rental. Have rented from them many times before with no problems, now its like they are going out of their way to not let you rent a vehicle. Just very poor customer service at the pick up point and over the phone.

Picked up a rental in Kissimmee, FL on 7470 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy only to drive back home to Miami, FL. I reserved a vehicle online which was a Camry or similar, when I get there they didn’t have any vehicles in that category available. The agent convinced me into upgrading which I did to avoid going through the rental process elsewhere since someone had given me a ride to the rental location. When I was done paying for it we stepped outside for the agent to drive the car up and hand over the keys, apparently it had just been dropped off because the agent said it was a little dirty and offered to run it by a quick car wash and I accepted. As soon as she finished, drove up and she stepped out the car she handed the keys over and told me to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas and told me we were all set. Since I was in a bit of a rush at this point and had someone waiting for me in the parking lot I drove off I figured since the agent didn’t do an inspection of the vehicle with me it wouldn’t be an issue. Well I was wrong, terribly wrong! When I dropped off the vehicle at the Mia Intl Airport location, the agent inspected the vehicle and started marking multiple damages such as scratches, I asked him what he was doing and he said he was documenting the damage on the car but that I shouldn’t worry about it and proceeded to warn me to always do an inspection before driving off because rental companies take advantage of those who don’t. I understood what he was implying and would definitely keep that in mind for my next rental but again was assured I should be fine. Long and behold for the first time ever with a rental vehicle, I received an invoice for damage totaling $600-700. Ironically, I decided to rent from Sixt because i figured they were a reputable company and have heard atrocities from other rental companies, I’ve also rented from Sixt at the Coral Gables location in the past and never had an issue. This company or this location are taking advantage of customers to bill them for damage they did not do and I can’t imagine how many tourists are having to go through this it’s shameful. I currently have a case open with the BBB. Stay away from this company!

Stay away from sixt, I reserved a car for rent and paid ahead online. I got here and the debit card they took online they wouldnt take in person and it had to be a credit card. I just moved to the state and have an out of state license and they require a flight itinerary to use a debit card. The say this was in the terms and conditions but it was never brought up so its in the fine print. Go somewhere else beside sixt, btw the reservation is non refundable.

When I booked the person I spoke to had me book at a location outside the air port and guaranteed that the vehicle I wanted would be at that location.. I paid 85$for an Uber to get to this location outside the air port just to find they didnt have the vehicle I wanted (landrover). They had a Cadillac instead. Which is considered a luxury car only because of its price. It was a very cheap herse looking suv. After speaking with the woman at the desk for 45 minutes (she did everything she could to get me into another car and deserves a metal.. I think her name was lily) she found me a land rover at the air port terminal location.. this is very frustrating not only because I had to spend an additional 85$ to Uber to a location outside of the air port but I had to go all the way back to the air port as well.. if I booked at the air port location like I wanted to all of this could have been avoided..I did not go on vacation just to have half of my first day wasted going from one sixt location to the other.

Great prices, selections and options! My new go to car rental preference!Only problem was that no one answered the phone the day before. Phone rings and rings with no options to leave a message. So I got most of my answers from the website terms of service.But once I got there on a Tuesday afternoon there’s was no wait. A vehicle was ready (tho no the one on the website but that really didn’t matter because the classifications were the same. Volkswagen Passat instead of a Toyota Camry. The representative was knowledgeable and informative. No hassle. I was very happy.

While on spring break, you KNOW there were no rentals available anywhere. Luckily Im an overplanner and made sure all my ts were crossed lol . I booked a car 2 weeks in advance. Paid in full through the app. Arrived to pick up my car, which they didnt have, but I got a sweet upgrade at no extra charge. My lady was super sweet and funny! Great experience everytime I rent from this company. Always nice cars at good prices and great customer service. I will return!

Very very bad service this was the WORST experience of my life. First of all it was kinda weird that no one was standing on there line at the airport getting there cars, but all the other rentals at MCO were full. So I went to SIXT to get my Mercedes and they gave me a VOLVO. I’ve looked at all the reviews and it’s says that they got a Volvo as well. Is Volvo the only car you have? My husband was very furious. After all if I could put a 0 star I would 😑. Enterprise is the best though you should go get your car from there if your looking for one!!

During my rental time the vehicle experienced minor mechanical problems. My trip was from FL to NJ. Ana Lotero, the Sixt representative at Kissimmee location, went above and beyond to make sure she linked me with the Sixt location at Newark Airport and made the vehicle swapping process smooth and efficient while working with Fiona at Sixt Newark Airport. In addition to smoothing out the process I was given a discount on my rental. That was much appreciated. This is my first time renting with Sixt and as a seasoned renter I look forward to renting again with them. My recommendation is to read all information on Sixt’s rental policies before you book. There’s no hidden fees or surprises since all protocols are disclosed.

If I want to talk about my experience at the Sixt- Ramada hotel kissimmiee, I find myself to be honest lost in words. I have never experienced such a great customer service for a car rental company in my entire life, and during my travels around the world. It’s not only about professionalism and treating customers but how special you feel! And that’s all because of the great manager of this branch Melissa. I visit this branch almost weekly for four years now and I have never been treated with less than perfection. I have met several customers without any manners to be honest, and even though I saw how the team deal with them with full kindness and respect. They are an awesome team starting with the ambitious Daniella and special hardworking Anna and Marisol that work under pressure with patience also, the amazing Carlos and smart Paola. They are the best team I have ever dealt with and I wish I had such a great team in my business.

Staff is awesome. The only complaint is the website lets you book a car, even if the cars arent there. No direct number to the desk. You have to call an 800 number that is not user friendly. Luckily, the guy I rented from adjusted the price of a better car to the price of the one I originally wanted to rent. Prices are about the same as others in the area. Cars are clean. The only reason I will use Sixt again instead of another company is the staff.

The office is a little hard to find because it is inside the hotel. Once I got there everything went simple and smooth. Thought I booked a great last minute deal. Within 12 hours booking went to pickup vehicle. Come to find out unlimited miles doesnt mean unlimited like the competitors. In the small print, outside the state additional charge by mileage.We decided to cancel right there. Come to find out cancel fee would be and was $90. The agents at the location are not empowered to waive the fee. Directed us to call the office,. No answer, no answer, no answer. Final a phone agent directed us to email for a refund. Never received a response by email or a refund.Definitely going back to the bigger rental agencies.

They had to move my pickup location because of COVID and let me know right away. The vehicle was upgraded and it was pristine, beautiful, and luxurious. My only problem was i was expecting a shuttle to location in witch i had yo pick up the car was too far way from airport . After walking to find out about the shuttle i find that theres a sixt rent a car was right there in the airport .Now i stayed right at the Westgate resort, witch was closer. I think i should have been ask the question of where would i be staying to make a person never been in Florida trip better in their travel . The cab cost 65.00 to get to where the car had to be picked up.

They have poor customer service cause after a long flight and and long bus ride to there lot I was inconvenienced by them telling me my license was pending suspension and instead switching car to my wife name or adding her as a driver they wanted to charge her $780 instead of the $230 I prepaid. On top of that they want to charge me $178 fee instead of refunding me my money on top of all the inconveniences they have already caused me. Their customer service sucks

Very inefficient and business practices that arent customer friendly. They gave me a loaner minivan to use while I waited for them to change the oil on a replacement car they were giving me since they didnt have the car I reserved. When I brought the minivan back a few hours later they wanted me to fill the tank up even though they didnt tell me that prior. Their wait times are always a minimum of 15 minutes whether there is one person or 20 people ahead of you. Their cleaning process, especially during the covid-19 pandemic is almost non-existent. It consists of one clearly overworked guy spraying the cars down with a hose (not drying the car)and barely wiping down the inside of the vehicle. This is a really poor excuse for a car rental agency location. Also, their posted hours of operation dont match the times that they are actually there so it was difficult to sync up with them.

The car we had had horrible cigarette smell. We inquired if all the cars were non smoking and assured they were. The car we had was nauseating. We even called after driving it five miles and were told they would let the local office know. They did but no resolution of another car was offered. We ended up spending $20 plus on Febreze and air freshener and it didnt help. In 95degree weather and high humidity we had to drive with the windows open to be able to tolerate the smell.

Rental car facility was a short drive from a WDW hotel we were staying at. Pick-up of the vehicle was fast and smooth. Car was brand new (literally had 200 miles on it). No issues at all. BEWARE...Rented a brand new 2017 Full-Size SUV Yukon from Sixt Orlando (7855 N Frontage Road), for a total of 25 rental days over the Christmas holiday. Impressed with the price of the rental. Half way into our trip, we encountered a tire blow out on the highway!! Called in for assistance and were advised that it would take any where from 45 minutes to 1 hour for service. It being almost dusk and having the truck with kids and elderly parents, we managed to exchange the flat with the spare provided in the vehicle. During my initial call, I had advised the CSR that we would appreciate a call back within 15 minutes to check on our status and to ensure that we were fine. We did not receive a call. We returned the truck in the morning and were asked to provide a report of the damage and then given a replacement for the remainder of our rental.One month after returning from our trip, we received an invoice for the flat repair of approx. $400. Sixt claims is that the damage (flat) occurred during the time of our possession and they are not liable for these repairs. Considering this is a brand new vehicle with less than 1000 miles, I would assume they have some warranty on the tire...perhaps this is their way to make up their rental costs by providing low rates. Very disappointed with how this was handled. Customer service during and after the rental has been a terrible experience. I visit Orlando regularly and will never rent from this company.

Very affordable. We got a free upgrade from mid to full size suv. One thing, if you have full coverage on your own vehicle you do not have to buy their coverage. I just double checked with my insurance agent and was good to go. The other learning curve for us was all the toll roads in the Orlando area. You can get the toll package but it was pricey at 6 or 7.99 per day. We just planned ahead and made sure to have lots of quarters on us. Check out was nice and easy too.

I chose Sixt because they offered a significantly better price point on convertibles than competitors. A luxury convertible was even only a few dollars more so I decided to splurge.Unfortunately the reserved car they intended to give me had a cracked windshield, but to their credit, Sixt contacted me the morning of my pickup to let me know they could provide me with a Camaro until they could get a good condition Mercedes in, which was OK with me. It was supposed to be available the next morning, so I planned my day accordingly, but no one contacted me for follow-up. When I called them, they told me it would be very late afternoon, which no longer worked with my schedule, so I had to wait until the next morning. At least they offered me a 10% discount to make up for the extra gas I spent on the inefficient trip planning.Both cars were in good condition and quite a lot of fun to drive. The pickup, swap, and return were simple and straightforward.As with all rental car companies, they tried to sell me junk insurance that duplicates what my credit card and personal vehicle insurance already cover, as well as overpriced gas, overpriced tolls, and all manner of add-ons, all of which I refused with no fuss. And of course they deliberately crippled the built-in navigation system of both cars so they could try to sell me a separate unit, but thats what my phone is for. This isnt a complaint about Sixt specifically because everyone does it, but it would be refreshing to find someone who doesnt.I have read other reviews complaining about excessive deposit holds, but my credit card wasnt authorized for a hold at all. (Perhaps because I prepaid in full and the payment was more than the deposit would have been.) This amount may vary by location.Bottom line: I would rent from them again if I can find a similar deal. I assume the car mix-up was an isolated incident, and my other quibbles would apply equally to any major rental agency.Oh, and one last thing: pay careful attention to which location youre renting from. They have two locations adjacent to Disney, so near Disney in the description doesnt tell you enough. (I went to the wrong one first.) One is in the Sheraton next to Crossroads just east of Disney Springs; the other is in the Ramada on 192 just south of Animal Kingdom. And theres a third one at the airport.

Way too many requirements. Was there for an hour answering questions & providing them with paperwork I didnt know was needed. Then waited 15 mins for them to bring the car, which I then had to return because of a very much unpleasant odor. I then had to go back in to redo the paperwork. I was given a free upgrade. Upon receiving my deposit of $200, I was returned $199.99. Imagine every person they do that to. Those pennies add up. If I was a penny short, would I have still been given the rental?

Went in to front desk asked if they had cars and was told no. Went home and made a reservation for the next morning. THE SAME CAR AS THE NIGHT BEFORE WAS WHAT I RENTED. I KNEW from the plate. As well as the night before I was there close to closing so I know it was not going to get rented. Either bad business model or lazy staff. Good prices but make the reservation local staff does know how to work computers.

My son rented a Mercedes Suv about a month ago. The vehicle looked OK on the outside windows and all. I rode in the back seat and you could hardly see out of the side windows they were so dirty. Looked like children had a field day are they had never been cleaned inside. I wanted to stop and clean them at a service station but my son said he was not going to do their work. If the car is still there PLEASE have someone clean them on the INSIDE. Also, it felt like you were in a truck the ride was so bad.

Terrible service. I called to rent a Jeep.Me: Do you rent Jeeps?Agent: Yes.Me: Great, Id like to reserve a Jeep for tomorrow.Agent: Well, you cant reserve a Jeep, you can reserve a rental group which includes Jeeps and Toyota FourRunners.Me: I dont want a poopy FourRunner, I want to rent a Jeep for a photo shoot for the day.Agent: Well, you can reserve that group and there is a 50-50 chance you get a Jeep.Me: So the day of the shoot, I have a 50-50 chance of getting what I want and if you dont have it, I have to scramble to find one elsewhere.Agent: Yes.Me: Well, Im always up for some fun, lets book it then.Agent: We have no Jeeps available.Me: What, anywhere?Agent: Well, we have no vehicles to rent at any of our Orlando, Airport, Disney locations.Me: Then why even bother answering the phone?!?Agent: I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode all of a sudden.She hung up before I could tell her I dont think you understand how reservations work.

Bad experience. Had rented a car at the Buena Vista location that was dirty and alarming that it needed oil change. Called this location to ask if they had a car to exchange. They said yes they did. Drove twenty minutes to get there, but this was the closer location. Got there and the clerk tried to tell be there was nothing wrong with the car that I had and that they didnt have any to exchange. Offered a lower class of car which I declined. No other options available. I said I was just going to cancel and they couldnt even refund. Was told to call customer service to cancel. They couldnt help me either and was told to call back tomorrow.Was never apologized to, nor offered any other options like delivery or to wait for them to bring a replacement from another location. Would have been happy with an Im sorry, but never happened.Very disappointed

Very poor experience with Sixt...my first and likely last transaction with Sixt. I booked my reservation a month in advance...prepaid the full amount. Nothing clearly stated during booking and nothing asked regarding my destination. The day that I arrived to pickbup my van...I was asked my destination... I replied that I and my family had a family trip planned to Texas for a believers convention. The clerk immediately replied that she would not be able to provide a vehicle due to my plan to leave the state of Florida. The clerk added that Sixt would also be taking a cancelation fee of $176...three days rental. I asked to speak to a manager...20 mins later, the manager arrived to speak to us. She reiterated that she could do nothing for us...did not offer to help us in any way. We agreed to cancel our reservation so that we would have some money to rent from another company. We had hotel reservations booked in three other states that we had to cancel, as we could not find another rental vehicle on short notice that wasnt double what we had booked with Sixt a month earlier. 10 days later, we still have not received our refund...the response from Sixt Customer service was also that they could no nothing and that I would have to continue to wait for my refund. This experience occurred at the Kissimmee Florida location of Sixt...at the Ramada hotel. Clerk was very non-friendly, non-personable and the manager not commited to any type of customer service to help us find a solution to our delimna. Should have done business with Herz or Enterprise...would have been worth the extra money they charge to receive better service. Holderby family...Aug 5th, 2017

I booked this from the UK in GBP with my debit card which SixT accepted. On arrival in orlando they said they could not accept this and I had to pay with a credit card. (you can do this with all other car hire companies in Orlando and leave your CC for incidentals) but No Sixt said they would have to refund me on my Debit card and repay on my CC. I lost Β£30 on the change rate.They are 20 mins in a bus away and not any cheaper. I would recommend a car hire company onsite of the airport where you dont get fiddled and no hassle of humping bags and suitcases on and off busses in 100 degrees.I gave 2 stars as the cars was ok. But customer service is poor.

Thought I booked a deal of a lifetime, only to get there and be told the rental cannot leave the state of Florida. No mention or warnings of this when I booked. The confirmation email did not say anything about it either. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY ...EVER!
