Ive gotten my hair cut here for the past several or eight years, and Ive never been disappointed. The people are always extremely pleasant and do a good job!

Lisa did an awesome job. I popped in as a walk-in, and she really impressed me. I have extremely curly hair, and it can be really hard to cut correctly; Lisa took some time to understand my concerns and I showed her the photos I was leaning towards. She didnt use them a whole lot, but she totally nailed the shape and style. She really listened and was very thorough, telling me I could come back if I noticed anything I didnt like and shed fix it for free. The price was reasonable (about $25 for a womans haircut), which is less than a lot of other places near Kent State. The decor was bit kitchy, but it wasnt dirty. Im really satisfied and will continue to go back.Edit: While at Kent State, Lisa was the only person I trusted to cut my hair - she never disappointed. Shes great: amiable, caring, and a great stylist. I referred a few friends to Cuttin Loose because of my great haircuts. The entire staff is great :)

These reviews saying how dirty it is just really tick me off! Ive been coming to this salon for 20 years, and my mom for 20 years before that! Heck, our whole family comes here! The women working here are awesome, friendly, and very good at what they do! And I have never seen this place dirty EVER. Theyre super diligent about keeping it clean and welcoming! A wonderful salon, I cant imagine getting my hair cut anywhere else!

All the hair stylists there are funny and nice. They made me feel very welcome and I always have a great time when Im there. Ive never left disappointed in my new look.

I have tried to give this salon a few tries and i am so disappointed every time. it is usually dirty and the decor is well, a little too country for my taste. they never seem to have the same stylists, even if i got a decent haircut when i try to make an appointment with the stylist i saw before she is gone. i dont know what is going on in this place but something seems weird. i wont be going back. beware if you decide to try this salon anyway.

Great hairdresser does my just as I like it

I recently found out that the negative reviews were posted by a competitor at another salon. Mean and nasty trick if you ask me.Ive never seen this salon be anything but friendly and clean. Its in an older building but its certainly never dirty. I wonder if those other reviews are from workers at other salons or if theyve really even been there.

This shop is absolutely disgusting. The service is poor and the girls appear to always be degrading their employees, even in front of their customers at times! I had a horrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It was suggested to me that things had shaped up and cleaned up at this shop more recently, but if things are cleaned up in comparison to what they used to be, I am disgusted. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP.

Im a guy and I didnt know what it would be like for me to get a haircut here, but they are really friendly here, and I liked the haircuts I get. This is where I get my hair cut now.
