The nail technicians here are skilled enough as long as you speak up about exactly what you want and and hold firm to it. I get acrylic overlay, never get fake plastics tips, and I have not broken a nail in years. I do not get my feet done at salons so I cant speak on that. They seem clean and the salon is not small or cramped.

Very professional, walk-ins are welcomed but make appointment to avoid waiting.

I went on Wednesday 6/9/21 to this nail salon to get a short full set they charged me $45. The problem is my nails are lifted from my actual nail where the acrylic is the only thing holding my nails. I will not come back due to the price because I can pay that anywhere for bad quality 😂 I actually have to dig out residue from my nails which is nasty for a “fresh set” don’t come here if you are picky. I tried zooming in so you can understand what I’m talking about. Hope this helps :)

It was a great price for the pedicure . They had plenty of people working and all very friendly. It’s a pretty open space and very clean.

So this used to be one of my favorite salons to go too when I lived in Kent, I was a regular customer due to their service. But this year was the first time I went to get a full set since I had moved and let me tell you it was a HORRIBLE experience. My nails look like S%@!, and I paid $90 for them. The girl who did my nails was named TRACY and she was a complete B*!#$%, anything I commented to her, she talks in her language and made fun of. She told me she did NOT want to do the design I picked out because she didnt feel like it. What type of service is that?, not only did I waste my money but my nails look like Wide A** teeth. She said she refuses to fix the shape. They have lost a loyal customer. I will not go back to this place ever again.

Both appointments I made I showed up on time and they had me wait a long time. They want to cram as much people as possible before close it seams like.I’ve gone twice. The first time the nails came out really good. They charged me 60 bucks for some squiggly and regular lines on my nails. The second time I they charged me 35 for a little less work. Too big of price difference for me. I had no jewels on my nails at all.The second time, they didn’t clip my nails at all so all that you see underneath is my real nail. Some of my nail isn’t even covered properly from the polish.The real kicker for me is that both people had NO IDEA what a straight line across meant. I said left to right. I said a straight line. I said straight across. I even did hand gestures to show her what I meant. She had NO CLUE. I’m like HOW do you NOT know???!!!!!Overall not impressed. Not going back.

I was hesitant to go to this place at first because of the extremely mixed reviews but I had an amazing experience! Made an appointment for a gel manicure and was seated right away. The staff was friendly and professional, the massage was great, and my nails look amazing! I’ll be going back.

My best friend and I booked 2 French dip powder manicures and 2 pedicures at 3:30pm in person at the salon. When we came in at our appointment time, we were told to wait until there was an available technician. We waited 15 minutes and watched as they took 4 people who didnt have an appointment before us. When a technician finally called us back we were told that we would have to be separated across the room from each other for both the manicures and pedicures as there were no tables together. They also lied and said we added the pedicure last minute when we physically saw a technician write both requested services when we first came in at 2pm. Having wasted quite a bit of time we left after being informed last minute that we couldnt have anything done together. This was a terrible experience with poor customer service.

I work at the Ram Restaurant next door and all of the ladies are always so nice to me! I always come in for a fill or a pedicure when it’s slow in there and they really try their best and take their time! In fact, I appreciate this business because they are such good friends and coworkers to one another, are super sweet to their boss, work great as a team and genuinely have such a good time at their job. Thanks for always treating us Kent Station restaurant workers so well!

I usually get my nails and feet done there I had a great service with Tracy who did my nails and Aimy who did my feet they were awesome, but it was the old guy that works there rude I get that it was a holiday but this walked up to me and just yanked my foot to force me to get up and move! Usually I let my feet dry no problem but more money right? Yeah I will seriously think again before going back ever again and plus I was made to look the bad guy when the lady who helped rush me out the chair was even more rude than the guy and she messed up my toe 🤬🤬

Horrible place, I paid $45.00 plus tip.Worse manicure ever, pedicure is ok.I will never go back there. The girl took my fitbit off, said she put it in my bag! Thats a lie. It wasnt there. If I could give 0 stars I would I made an appointment here because my usual salon was booked. The appointment was made for 4:30pm once I arrived they were obviously over booked and asked me to wait. After 30 mins I was finally put in a chair simply asking for a file. The nail tech spent more time talking then she did doing my nails correctly because of this my file turned into a mess and I would have been better off!!!! Every nail is crooked( simple square shape) and not even 24hrs my gel paint it bubbled and peeling!!! Worst experience will not return

Went here with some girlfriends who usually get their nails done here. We sat waiting for 15 minutes before we were seen even though we had an appointment. That’s not the issue, the lady who started working on my nails just went in for it, didn’t give me a manicure, made my nails square and when I asked her to make sure they were even, she ignored me. She then completed my gel color and moved on to my friend who she gave a full manicure too. Now it’s four days later and two of my nails have chipped off. I am fuming.

I went in on a Sunday to get my nails done, and the lady who did them did them terribly. She glued on my tips wrong to begin with, they all had an upward slant, and she filed them and shaped them extremely unevenly.I first gave one star, but I called the next day and worked up the courage to ask someone to redo them and they did. Today I walked out very happy with my nails and believe it was just the person who did them sunday, and Im not here to tear down their business.All I can say is there isnt consistency, and it will totally depend on who you get..Otherwise very friendly service!

Go here often as it is central in Kent Station. Always have a good outcome, but with the pandemic, sometimes wary, as they seem overcrowded for the shop. They do have plexiglass between every station and everyone is masked, including customers. A very busy salon.

1st Pedi was fabulous, the one I had today was horrible!! Felt like it was rushed, was just a number to them! Nails done last week full set not happy but to busy to stay and ask them to be redone. Will never go back again.

WORST NAIL SALON IN THE ENTIRE STATE - DON’T waste time, money or your life - give your business to a place that appreciates their customers & is concerned for their health. I made an appointment, arrived, checked-in & waited 15 minutes in the lobby & when I asked when they were going to start I was told to go sit in a pedicure chair. I sat there for an additional 15 min without being acknowledged, or given any indication they cared they were running late. When I asked again, I was snapped with her saying they would be right with me. I witnessed 2 technicians walked out while I was there & THE WORST THING is they don’t clean their stations during this time of COVID after each person so I walked out. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!

Theyre going above and beyond yo make sure everyone is safe during a pandemic. I was reluctant but this environment but any worry I had to rest. These ladies work hard and have really adapted to continue to do their work. Thank you!!!

They give such a great regular pedicure, however the deluxe pedicure with long massage is worth every penny! Ladies are always friendly, I suggest make an appointment or go on off peak times.

I wouldn’t even bother coming in here. The lady who did my nails rushed it and ended up cutting me three times. She then had to reshape them because I kept telling her that some nails were uneven. Eventually I got irritated and just gave up trying to explain why I hated the shape. The design she did on them was crooked as well. Little fiber particles were caught on the nail and she applied top coat anyway. Let’s not even talk about the fact that these nails started to chip after a few days. I called to come have it fixed and I was told to just come in, so I did. One lady took a look at my nails and said “You didn’t get these done here”.. Sis, I got videos and pictures. She grumbled about fixing it then charged me for it when it was supposed to be free. I don’t know, it was just a bad experience overall. I definitely do not recommend this nail salon.

Im brand new to getting my nails done and I think they do a lovely job. My girlfriend and mother both really liked their pedicures and I loved the result of my acrylics. Ive had Jackie twice, with months in between, and she remembered my mother and I. The staff is really friendly too. Ill definitely keep coming back!

I cant like this place enough. They know Im a working mom and always do their best to make me feel relaxed, but consider my limited time. An hour and 15 mins for a deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure is awesome! I leave feeling refreshed and always get compliments on my nails

The girl who did my nails forgot to complete her job. I had to tell her she didnt put alcohol on my nails and I touched the towel laying on my lap and they were full of towel for. This isnt the first time this happened. They need to focus on one client before moving on to the next.

When I came in,there was another girl coming in about a chipped nail. I heard it and continued to wait for my nails to get done. I finished and this is my outcome after a few days..chipped no good looking nails..chilac. I call and she tells me to come in. I come by and they ask me over and over if I had came to this nail shop to get my nails done as if I was trying to scam them. They asked me over while making me extremely upset until finally one of the girls stood up in the back and remembered me. She fixed two nails leaving the other nails bogus. Arguing back and forth with the manager about fixing the rest of the nails and if so I would have to pay. After I showed the manager my nails and how bad they look then she urged me to come back tomorrow to fix them. Anybody else want to to though this? Nope. Find a better place.

I used to really love Peridot. I’ve been going there for 2 years now. About a year ago, I started working directly with “Susan”. At first she was great and very personable. However, she still doesn’t know my name, preference and doesn’t even really speak anymore. My nails have been thick and uneven for the last few visits, she’s burned my nails and yesterday was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. She knew I was unhappy and yet I still paid full price AND tipped, and said nothing.I always highly tip because I know all the ladies work pretty hard there but the service is declining dramatically. I’m never picky and I even often let the ladies choose my nail color, or design. Unfortunately, I’m going to find a new nail place. My nails are my only spoil me thing I do for myself, and when I can’t even find happiness there it is no longer worth going there for me.

Ive been coming here for a year servives are great. However there is one worker who always has a bad attitude, she was chosen to do my nails today. She was very aggressive so i asked her why she was so aggressive and snappy when i asked a question. She got up and said she could not do my nails.Manager was right there and said nothing. Unfortunately we wont return.

Waited for 20 minutes even with an appointment. Nobody filled the basin with hot water and turned on pump, so I had to soak my feet in plain, lukewarm water. Sloppy pedicure. To top it off, I was asked to move out of a chair so someone else could sit there. My nails were still wet. One nail was smeared by the time I got home. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If you like cheap, this is your place. The only thing they are interested in is how many people they can shuffle through in a day. Will not be returning!!

Seemed very unprofessional. My nails are short. I asked for a more natural look, keep the white line very thin. After starting over 3 times I knew it would be her way and not what I wanted. My nails hurt so bad the next day, I believe she bruised my nail beds. Same gal waxed my brows and lip, however when I looked at it in my car I ended up going straight to another salon to get the job done. In other words, if you want it done your way DONT GO HERE. They asked at least 6 times if I wanted shellac. I think a professional would listen to the customer and do what the CUSTOMER wants. Never again.

This girl gave me the best leg and foot massage ever. I have bad neuropathy but she got it to go away for a couple hours. Very reasonably priced. I walked in and was soaking within 2 minutes. Her name was Tt?

Update: Ive come here in the past because its the closest to my home. I thought id never come back after they cut one of my toenails in half years ago and still wanted to charge me full price. But decided to give them another try and not on toes. My daughter has never had her nails done before so it was supposed to be a special girls time. It was a nightmare. First red flag was as we were seated an argument between a customer and nail tech was going on, ending in the woman leaving. I started to feel the frustration as the workers had no patience. I rarely get my nails done so i asked a question and the attitude was disgusting. I dont know how they keep clients. Ontop of this my daughters nails were a hack job. I wanted to cry but didnt want my daughter to feel bad so thought ok this is all conformation not to ever come back. My 13 year old was so unhappy she chewed them off while i was at work the following day and i dont blame her. Some of her nails were pointed upwards and unfilled. Ill never return here Ever!

Love this place. It’s aweosme. I generally go on the weekdays cause it’s not as hectic. It a nail place at a mall what do you expect. It’s owned by a nice family. My girlfriend takes me with her when she goes and it’s awesome. Some of the workers my not know fluent English but it’s okay. Great place still

My friend and I made an appointment for shellac for a busy Saturday afternoon. We were running late, so we called them and they told us we didnt need to reschedule, to just come in when we can. When arriving we asked for a Deluxe Manicure, as well as Shellac. They also painlessly removed my current acrylics for me, and added a flower design to our thumbs for free (only charging for the deluxe manicure and shellac). They were both friendly and accommodating.

I come here all the time with my wife and its amazing. They do great work and the massages are amaZing. They get really busy during the summer time. And it gets a little hectic so I understand. I definitely would recommend them to people. Some people cant be satisfied but they definitely met my standards

Today I got a pedicure that was at best a 2/5... miss-shaped filing, poor paint job. - I also had two broken nails I decided to get fixed here... This was only my second time there but wont go back. When have you ever gotten your legs massaged with the scrub instead of the lotion? Not very comfortable. I could have done my own pedicure with what the girl did...filed my nails, pushed back the cuticles, massage and polish. No attention to corns or corners of nails that were sharp although I asked her twice to please trim them. Did as little as possible. Left some nails without complete polish, left residual polish around nails...why did I even go in???

Ill start with the good. They are very reasonably priced fir the good service and time they spend with you. They do great pedicures! Great leg massages and paint great designs but the shellac doesnt last very long here. Maybe 7days at its best before it starts cracking or pealing up. I dont like there brow waxing but other waxing are good.

I would recommend lou for those who are new to getting their nails done. Shes extremely patient and kind. Shell give you the design you want and would pause in between to see if youre satisfied or not. I appreciate that greatly because Im real particular with how I want my nails to be. I would probably be scheduling with her for future appointments. Thanks lou!

And they made my daughter wait for about 10 mins while a couple that came in after us got helped. I asked if my daughter was gonna get help and they asked her to go to the chair but didnt do anything. she waited another 5 mins. I had to ask once again if she was gonna get help and they gave us attitude and literally threw the salt at her feet. Worse place to go to. Never going there again. And they expected a tip on top of charging me a full set when I just needed a fill. The owner started talking to the girl doing my daughter nails and she just went off on her language. And I asked her if she had something to say and she didnt say a thing in English. Awful place.

Total nail farm. They did a sorta ok job. Four different people worked on my nails. One of them shaped them without asking me how I wanted them. The second person to paint them didnt put paint on the tips so I can see the acrylic beneath the paint. No one wore name tags which doesnt surprise me, they clearly didnt want anyone to know who they were and who might get reviewed. I will NEVER go back.

Im newish to getting my nails done, only been doing it for a few months. This place was close to my apartment and so I tried it out. The first time I went I was VERY pleased. I got a full set acrylic with shellac and it looked great and lasted two weeks, I got so many compliments.The next time I went I had a different tech. I wanted an ombre design and brought in a picture and showed her, she said okay. She asked me what shape I wanted and I asked if she could do almond, she said my nails were too short, I said thats fine but can we make them a little more round because theyre just a little too blunt square for me. She said okay and tried to shape them almond anyway, resulting in some oddly pointy nails that were different lengths. Then she asked me what color I wanted. I reminded her of the design and she said yes but you need a color underneath. So I, being new to getting my nails done, think she knows better than me and pick a color. She paints my nail that color and then does the reverse French mani thing where they draw a glittery line around your nail bed. Then she told me it looked too awkward, removed it, and just put glitter over the color. I just sat in silence because it was obvious she was just doing whatever she wanted. I hated my nails for those two weeks and took them off early at home.I went back a third time and had a third tech. She did an excellent job and I was pleased with my nails, but I stuck to a basic color with a glittery accent nail. Two of them fell off a couple days short of two weeks, but I hadnt had a problem before then and they fixed them for free. The fourth time I went I had a fourth tech and she really rushed my fill-in and missed the clear coat at the nail bed, so it looked dull at the bottom and it was weird.The fifth time I went was the last, I think. I got the same tech i had the time I hated my nails, but she was being friendly and helpful so I gave her another chance. I asked for a flower design on my accent nail and after she painted it, she called her co-workers over and they all took turns laughing at my accent nail? Which was so weird because I thought it looked nice and I have gotten lots of compliments on it in the last two weeks.Anyway, in summary, this place is fine and the shellac usually lasts the full two weeks, at least in my experience. And theyve always seemed clean to me. But Ive never felt particularly welcome or comfortable and frankly Ive been embarrassed to be a newbie to the nail scene and also had my nails laughed at in this salon.I do like that the sugar scrub and hot stone massage come standard with the pedicure.

Took my girlfriend here and they were amazing to her. The service was nice and the work was good. Some of the other customers were very hard to deal with I can see why someone would give this place a bad review. It has nothing to do with their work. I will take my girlfriend back here soon.

I’ve only gone to this salon twice. Once over a year ago and once yesterday (2/20/19) both times I’ve gone the lady doing my nails was extremely rude. Yesterday was easily the worst time I’ve had getting my nails done in terms of customer service. The whole time I was there the lady working on my nails was talking to her coworker and pointing things out on my hand...why not tell me what you’re talking about because if there is something wrong or something you are observing I might need to know? Also, I don’t mind when salons use drills to file nails, I prefer it because it’s much faster, but when they cut your cuticle and cause you to bleed on multiple fingers and then get irritated because your hand got a little stiff from the pinching feeling it’s quite upsetting. The gel polish that was applied after my fill is not smooth, there are bumps on most nails which I didn’t even know was possible because I thought gel was self leveling. On my visit yesterday I asked for my nails to be shortened quite a bit because I recently almost broke one off because I had let them get too long, all of my nails are filed at an angle and I am now having to go to ANOTHER salon today to have them straightened. The only reason I’m giving this salon two stars instead of one was because it had a pretty okay selection of gel polish.

Went in for a Mother daughter pedicure. It started out good. The tech was careless about the shape and didnt do much of a massage The kicker was i asked for a flower and she very obviously wasnt good at them and blamed my toe instead of asking another to do it. I ended up leaving without a flower and very irritated. Second disappointing trip to Peridot. I dont know if I will go back but Ive been going there for years. Too bad.

Went to get a fill. I was rushed and didnt even get my nails done how I wanted. According to them, they have no sample designs to choose from. I could tell she was rushing on my nails, and it made me uncomfortable. I wont be coming back. They dont know how to do a cheetah print design either. Really. My nails dont even look natural, Ive never had them done so bad.

I went in a the end of the night they had about a hour left until they closed, I worked all day and this was the earliest I could get there, I got a full set and my eyebrows done. My eye brows look amazing. However my set was done quickly and crappy. My nails have different shapes which is noticeable, I tried white nail color for the first time well since the lady painting them was talking to everyone across the room ignoring what she was doing, the second coat of white only got to half my nails, and you can tell. Its upsetting as a paying Customer to not be treated like my nails mattered I felt like she was so annoyed at being there doing her job, I should have got my money back. I wont be be back for nails, eyebrows maybe

Scheduling at this place is painfully difficult. Ive inconvenienced myself way too much so that the wife can go here only to hear were not taking appointments today.In its defense, my wife and mom say its the best place theyve ever gone.I wish there was anywhere else to go to.

Didnt measure the tips on my nails, Glued whatever nail tip she grabbed 1st, acrylic coats are all uneven as well as the nail polish coat, I asked for coffin nails & Im so unhappy with the shape, finished product feels bumpy with dents in some spots!

I have been twoce, the first time was a wonderful experience. The second time I waited for nearly an hour before the First tech came over and did the scrub and massage. She then used the hot stone over the scrub and Lotion and scratches my legs as she kept rubbing the stone against the granules. Then the Second tech came over to do the nail portion of the pedicure. Would try again and ask not to have tech 1. Nails look good, given a neck rub with manicure. But was soured by this experience.

These ladies are the best in the business; professional, friendly, and really good at what they do. We only go here every time, I would highly recommend it!

And my mother and I were speaking and one of the rude ass ladies decides to just get in between us to reach over and grab something which is so rude considering she didnt even say excuse me ! and then my mom was getting her nails done and the lady starts telling me that she should not do her nails the way she wants to because what if my baby started crying when my baby was CLEARLY asleep and calm!! like really b**** I will pick up my child if she does start crying regardless of my nails ! You just worry about your job because thats why were paying you!! Not going back✌👎 excuse my language but I felt so disrespected by these peope!

I had never been to this nail salon before, but needed to get a manicure before a work trip. They were able to get me in same day (on a Friday) the place was packed when I arrived. It also did not appear very clean. The towel that was on the manicure table had clearly been used with the prior guest.The manicurest tried upselling me on shellac since it lasts longer, but I politely declined. The paint job was so quick, there was no time to let the nails dry even a little bit between coats. There were no UV light dryers, so they just had me dry my nails in front of a small fan that is supposed to be used to remove chemicals from the air. Again, the place was so packed that they had other guests drying their shellac nails in the waiting area.The nails polish immediately started chipping a couple hours later and on into the next day. I went to my normal salon to have a polish change the next day.Overall, staff seemed friendly and were able to get lot of people in at a time. But I dont plan on going back because of the lack of cleanliness and the poor polish job. Also, my manicurest clearly had a cold (wore a mask, but coughed a lot) and it was unclear whether she had washed her hands after coming in from a break.Recommendation: dont take on so many clients at one time so you can maintain your salons appearance and ensure your staff has plenty of time for quality work.

Yesterday I did manicure and pedicure in Peridot Nail Salon. Pedicure they did ok, but manicure is unprofessional. Master did very quickly, I did a shellac. Today in one nail shellac already cracked.

I gave this place 3 stars cuz its good and bad depending on what you go for. Ive gone several times for pedicures and have been satisfied every time. They give good leg massages and the paint/designs are nice. Now for the bad...since I enjoyed my experiences there with pedicures I decided to try them out for a full set acrylic nails. Big mistake! The lady was nice but she did it so fast. The final outcome was no good. She used a basic top coat which looks sloppy. She didnt make sure my nails were the same length. They looked uneven. Also, after a few days they started lifting. Ive never had my nails lift before. I know it can happen, but not more than one and Im not even rough with my hands. I decided to go back for my fill cuz I thought maybe it was just that lady. I took my mom with me to get her nails done as well. We both had different people and they both did the same thing. Both our nails started lifting a few days later. So 3 different people, same bad outcome. I wont be going back to them for acrylics
