Had a very positive experience from the initial phone call with Meredith to set up viewings of several KC Loft Central properties to the move-in process.I learned about the New England Building which was opening on Sept. 1, 2017, and decided to immediately grab one of the last available units and also a heated garage spot connected to the building! This building was finished in 1886 and still has many of the original architecture elements despite completely new interiors, including new carpeting, stone countertops, new appliances and a washer/dryer in every unit. A bonus is a monthly flat fee for utilities (electricity & water). The 1st floor bank vault has been converted to a fitness center adjacent to the Howard Hughes lounge for use by residents. Also received a follow-up from a manager, Pam, who made sure I had all of my questions answered and also had a follow-up from Meredith to make sure my move-in was smooth.Although KC Loft Central manages a large number of properties in the Library District, Garment District and Crossroads District, the New England Building is in a very convenient location to central Downtown, P&L District, River Market, streetcar line and the Downtown Loop/Broadway.The staff is professional and courteous and I highly recommend this company to future residents.
Started renting from them at the View big thanks to the leasing agent Kayli for making it a very pleasant experience! Flexible and accommodating. Maybe not have chose this place if it had not been for her expertise. So far easy management company to work with. Will update at the end of my stay. 👌
I have had the most amazing experience with KCLoftCentral! They found me a place I call home even though Im not from Kansas City! I truly feel like I return home when I step into my loft. Any difficulties Ive had, they have responded to immediately and fixed with no delays! My experience in finding my home with Shay was the best. She did not hesitate to squeeze me into her busy schedule. She worked with me the day of my request to see a place and she was always present to help me each step. I love my relationship with KCLoftCentral and can easily call my apartment home because of it!
Kayli is far and away the best member of the KC lofts staff. She gets issues resolved quickly and painlessly. She brings so much joy and compassion to the situation that leaves me in a great mood. Her dedication to the job and overall joy is a perfect example of customer service. That’s what I experience daily from Kayli Powers. So I just want to thank KC lofts for having an amazing employee who truly cares about it’s residents and their pets. She goes the extra step each time to handle issues and bring a sense of peace.
Amazing leasing experience! Kayli in the leasing office has been more than helpful. She always responds in a timely manner, and is super friendly. I would highly recommend to any of my friends!
LEASING OFFICE REVIEW: I did not end up renting an apartment from KC Loft Central, but I thought that the responsiveness I received from their leasing office was worth a 5-star review. I originally enquired about the apartments for rent a month before I moved to KC, but then decided to make my move first so that I was able to tour apartments in person before signing. Both times when I reached out to KC Loft Central, Noma, a representative, replied within 1 business day, offered to set up a tour, and gave me all of the details about all the units they had available including video tours of each. While I didnt end up choosing to stay with KC Loft Central, (I chose to live elsewhere based on the proximity to my office) they treated me better than almost all of the other properties I contacted with inquiries! Thank you Noma!
Looking for a new place can be stressful and exhausting but I had a blast from the start from seeing the property to actually signing my lease it was easy, fast and efficient and I love my place. Kayli is the best she was there each step of the way, and even after moving in she still goes above and beyond to make sure my overall living experience is the best. 10/10
My buddy and I were looking for a 2 bedroom to save some money and ended up looking at a few lofts downtown. After touring with Shea, we were pretty dead set on Board of Trade. Not only were the amenities great, the floor plans conducive, and the location perfect for two guys our age, the office staff (especially Shea) is by far the easiest and most down-to-earth people Ive dealt with.If there are any questions I have (which there have been a lot, Shea has always quickly responded to my emails. She does a great job at matching my personality so I always feel like Im emailing a friend rather than my leasing agent. So glad we picked Board of Trade!
Leasing Office Review: After looking at many many places my roommate and I fell in love with the Board of Trade building, but what was more inviting was how we were and are treated in the leasing office. Kayli is such a sweetheart and she made sure we got what we wanted and needed! If anyone is looking for a great place with a great location and an even better leasing team, look no further!
We love how the view of our apartment is over the park! I will say at the beginning of moving in, communication with staff was somewhat irritating but we haven’t had any problems since move in with that! Only other complaint we have is that we moved into a dirty apartment. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned well, if at all. For the first month or so our floors were so dirty that our feet would turn black. Moving into a new place, you move in thinking that it will be cleaned for you prior to your move in but that unfortunately wasn’t the case for us. Looking past that, we are enjoying our space now.
I had a very good experience with KC Loft Central while moving in. They answered to all my questions and concerns in a timely manner and were able to provide a fantastic experience during the moving process. Their staff is really easy to work with and they always do their best to solve any issues I may have.
Kayli is wonderful! She was quick to respond to my many messages and has gone above and beyond to help me with the moving process! Couldn’t ask for a better leasing experience.
So far so good living at Board of Trade... Special shout out to the maintenance staff, who are phenomenal! Any time weve had an issue they were out to fix it the next day. Even had a problem with our AC not cooling well and figured it was because the building is old and not well insulated, but they fixed it in like 15 minutes!
I had an excellent lease experience with Kayli! Extremely prompt and friendly. Will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a loft in downtown KC. Thanks Kayli!
I truly enjoyed my experience with KC Loft Central. We recently relocated to Kansas City and Kayli made our transition very easy to getting adjusted to our new home. We found the perfect new home at Trolley Park for our family. Kayli was very knowledgeable and honest with the decisions that would be best for our family. My family is grateful to have chosen KC Loft Central to be our new home. We look forward to creating new memories here as a family!! Thank you Kayli for helping our vision for our new home come to life!!
Wonderful experience. Kayla was responsive, informative, and helped us through the entire process
Terrible experience overall. Regretted living here almost immediately after signing my lease. Heating bills are really expensive because of the old windows, management is rude, and the elevators breakdown frequently and are always covered in dog pee. Just don’t.
Ask for Shea all day!! She was the best leasing consultant i have ever had the pleasure of working with her and her team. Anytime i had any questions throughout the process she immediately would call me back if she missed my call which was rare, quickly responded to all my emails and extremely pleasant. There was a few hoops to jump through with my circumstance and she couldnt have been more helpful. Very satisfied with the building, apt and overall experience. Been renting for 15 years which is a pain and again this was the best experience!
The apartments look amazing, and I was so excited to tour and hopefully move in. We filled out the form on their website, but we never received an email or call. Then my partner called and left a voicemail telling them that we were interested and wanted to tour. That was about three weeks ago and we never heard back. We had been looking at their website and following them on Facebook for so long, and Im just disappointed that we werent ever able to tour or move in.
Staff is incredibly friendly and very responsive to the needs of tenants. Shea has gone out of her way on several occasions to ensure our move in went without any issues. Beautiful buildings with prime location.
Kayli went way above and beyond what she had to do! Couldn’t be happy with our place!!! Thanks to everyone at KC loft central but especially Kayli!!
They were so on top of questions and calls when inquiring about the space but were nearly impossible to reach once your application was approved. Besides that they tell you one thing then say they never said that and can’t do anything about it. Need to train their employees to know policys and rules since one person will tell you one thing and another person will tell you another. Screwed me out of a lot of money that wouldn’t have happened if they’d have just been honest or known how to do their job. Worst experience I’ve ever had trying to rent.
Lived here almost 2 years. The water was frequently shut off for hours with little notice. Multiple times I spent several hours with literally nothing to drink in my own apartment. Two thumbs down 👎 👎
Shea, one of the the leasing agents, was so incredibly helpful throughout this process. She answered all of my questions quickly and precisely.Finding a new place after traveling for theatre programs seemed daunting, especially when other companies either never responded despite having availability listed on their website or would not allow me to tour the space Id be moving into, just a demo space. It was very nice to see Shea and the rest of the leasing staff be so professional with the process. So thank you.
Living at KC Loft Central was an amazing decision, management is always there when you need them. The apartment is gorgeous down to the last detail. The location is amazing and the service fantastic.
Stephanie, Shea and Sam are about the most friendly and helpful gals I’ve ever worked with. Always smiling and always friendly. They make the extra effort to remember me by name every time I come by and have even stayed late for me, so that I might pickup an important package.
Love this management company!! Shea and the rest of their team are incredible to work with! Their customer service is beyond amazing and popcorn is so tasty they make daily!
I love my new apartment! The Board of Trade Lofts offer a perfect downtown location as well as a great amenities. Shea helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made the application & move in process very easy!
Gotta say....I have really been loving The New Yorker Lofts on 12th & Baltimore! I moved in here on May 1st of 2020. ZERO complaints. I got the unit & was told I was getting. Moved in to a CLEAN loft. I moved here from Los Angeles, CA & had my doubts about moving so far + Covid19 was & still is ruling the world. I was nervous. Shea w/ KC Loft Central was my point of contact the entire time. From the first initial ehh hi I have interest in this building to oh my I am moving. She answered ALL my questions. She was VERY helpful. VERY responsive & made this big move SO EASY. I can NOT thank her enough. I HIGHLY recommend going through KC Loft Central if you are interested in GREAT downtown Kansas City, Missouri properties.
The team at KC Loft Central epitomizes professionalism and efficiency! There are infinite complexities and challenges when youre moving, of which, for me, dramatically reduced the moment I called KC Loft Central and spoke with Shea. In the timeframe of about two hours, I made a call describing my screening criteria, toured my current place (which is exquisite), signed a lease, and began moving in my belongings. The process was expeditious, thorough, and extremely convenient. Further, the icing on the cake, location is second to none and, as stated above, the place is incredible. Thanks again Shea and the rest of the team for the support!
Recently relocated to KC and ended up moving into one of their buildings. Being remote for almost all of the process Shea was extremely helpful throughout. All around it was a positive experience and would recommend if you are looking for a place downtown.
I absolutely LOVE my loft! Meredith took fantastic care of me in the hunting process, and was patient with me until I found exactly what I had been looking for. High ceilings, fantastic windows and an open floor plan were my MUST haves. I had previously lived at Trolley Park Lofts (loved it!), but was looking for a bit of a change with a unit with washer and dryer included, and I couldnt be happier with my move! The loft is B-E-A utiful, updated, and a PERFECT location, great spot to hop on ANY highway. I cant thank her enough for introducing me to my new HOME.
I have lived at Board of Trade for 8 months now and I absolutely LOVE it!! The building is beautiful and always spotless. I NEVER hear my neighbors. Super quiet at all times. Our loft is gorgeous - side unit, HUGE windows, AMAZZZZZING VIEW, concrete floors, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, attached parking garage via catwalk so I never have to leave the building to find my car. Love love love BOT!!
Dealing with KCLoftCentral has been an incredible experience. We have lived in the Board of Trade building for 9 months now and have loved every minute of it thanks to the people at KCLoftCentral. They are ALL so accommodating, professional and friendly, which has made our experience here even more fabulous!! A huge thank you to Laura and Stephanie!!
No complaints at all. Just renewed my lease. Best management ive dealt with so far. Reasonable and professional staff 👌🏽
I was very excited to visit the Board of Trade property as I am looking for a loft to rent in the downtown area. So, I visited the property and was buzzed in. I went to the second floor where the office is located and I IMMEDIATELY smelled marijuana. Okay... No big deal (at that moment). The lady at the front desk (I dont remember her name) was very pleasant and greeted me. She took my ID and we visited units on floors 5, 8, and 14. On each floor there was a strong odor of WEED. Even on the elevator. I questioned the lady aboit it and she seemed a little embarrassed and said that the smell is not a usual occurrence. You know, I get it. People smoke weed. But do I have to smell it all through out the building and elevator? I do not want to get a contact high coming from my apartment. That was very off putting. I will not be back. I dont know what they are doing in that building but I do not want to be apart of it.
No complaints about the building or maintenance. The front office is lazy, unhelpful and just rude. Nobody greats you when you walk in, they never have any clue who does what and theres constant turn over. Now with the building being sold, they have washed their hands from being the least bit helpful and I am up in the air for a conversation that they now say is a verbal agreement. I was sitting at the office managers desk discussing extending my lease. So think about that when youre looking at an apartment, unless you have a wet signature at the time of the discussion, everything is subject to change. I will not work with this property management company again and I strongly encourage you to look at other options.
Wonderful, wonderful staff! They have been, hands down, the most hospitable and caring property management team Ive ever worked with. Always very quick and responsive to requests. Pam from their main office, Jessica from Stuart Hall, and Meredith are an absolute pleasure to with with! All of the properties that Ive seen are always kept clean and safe. All Ive seen have security cameras and advanced entry systems installed.KCLoft is one of a kind in my experience in the downtown loft space. Go visit one of their properties. Youll love it.
The property manager Katie White is probably the rudest person I’ve ever talked to. She rolls her eyes at you and has no problem mocking you like she’s proud of it. It amazes me that the Bennet family, who are wonderful people actually, would have such a disrespectful property manager.
I have lived in their Soho building for almost two years now. Love the building, love the location, love the management staff. The price is hard to beat and the location is extremely underrated. I would highly recommend this building to anyone in the market, and having The Phoenix right down the street is just icing on the cake.
I have lived in The Soho building for a little over a year, and have had a very good experience. There are many pros and cons of living the loft life, so you should understand those when looking to move downtown. But when I’ve had issues like AC going out or needing maintenance they have been very good at addressing the issue and getting it resolved that day.The location is awesome - easy walk to the river market and all the fun spots downtown, but isn’t as loud and chaotic as living in the heart of PNL (also not nearly as expensive)The staff are great and very helpful, and the various residents I have met or lived next to have been very nice.If you are looking for that rustic/industrial warehouse style loft with exposed brick then this is where you want to be.
I moved to KC in 2007 planning to be here just 3 months. I booked a unit at Library Lofts online before arriving. I ended up loving my space and the location and ended up staying for 8 years before recently buying a house. The amenities and staff are great. There are more than 35 bars and restaurants within walking distance. I went 7 years without having to own a car. I miss life at Library Lofts!
I have been living in Butler Brothers lofts for over 2 years now, and just signed my 3rd lease. The management team in the Trolley Park Loft office has been wonderful to work with. Meredith Engles at the front desk is always very positive and receptive, and willing to help. A+!
Ive been living in for Stuart Hall about 7 months and have had a great experience - management is very responsive and so friendly. I also love how spacious my apartment is and any issues Ive had have been resolved quickly!
These apartments are pretty well priced. Updated fairly well. The occasionally woren appearances. Yet there is but one major issue: the staff. This staff is inauthentic and unwilling to demonstrate a keen interest in building rapport with customers. They wouldnt even show me the contract between the landlord and the tenant until AFTER I had paid the nonrefundable application process. So if there were clauses I didnt want to adhere to... tough... I guess I was out the $300 or so...Here is the problem: This company is working in a market in which they know they cant charge excessively high rent due to the quality, yet based on their location and their competitors... it becomes clear that they have found a market that will keep coming void of the service they provide. Most of the newer housing in downtown KC is low income, so unless you qualify you are stuck with whats left: KC Loft Central...
The Board of Trade Condominiums are such a nice place to live! The building is well kept up, the staff is very friendly, and the residents are very quiet and respectful. I have lived here for two years and I absolutely love it!
Ive lived in the Fountains Lofts for a little over a year now and have absolutely loved it. The actual apartment is very nice with updated appliances (flame stove, dishwasher, washer & dryer, etc.), beautiful granite countertops, brick walls and incredible wooden beams and ceilings that separate it from the majority of Kansas City Lofts. The halls, elevators and lobby are all kept up and cleaned regularly. The KC Loft Central staff has been easy to work with as well. The office closes at 5, so I am usually not able to get my packages. Meredith, who is the leasing agent, always helps out by hand delivering my package, so that it is waiting for me when I get home from work!Ive had to submit multiple maintenance orders (light bulbs, sink clog, dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc.) and they are pretty quick and always fix my issue. I had a problem with my dishwasher and they just gave me an entirely new washer!I recommend looking early and getting ready to sign because most of their units go fast!!
Super friendly and responsive staff. Anytime I wanted or needed anything, they were there.
I have lived here for years and love it. The leasing agents have always taken great care of us and provided pretty quick assistance. Its a fun area, the buildings are cool, and the price is competitive.
The Library Lofts is a wonderful place to live in the heart of KC. The community and management at KC Loft Central are very attentive and keep the apartments beautiful and clean. They are very professional and keep an open line of communication regarding any types of issues whether its maintenance, Library Loft community activities, or general safety upgrades. I felt that the folks at Library Lofts also cared about the people who lived there. I lived there for 5 years and during that time they got to know me. I also had interesting and cool neighbors. It was wonderful living near all the amenities downtown including the KC Central Library, Power & Light District and locally owned businesses, as well as the Cosentinos Market grocery store that delivers (which really came in handy after I had surgery). I would recommend this apartment community and neighborhood to anyone looking for the cosmopolitan downtown experience in KC. It truly became my home.
I lived in the Library Lofts for a year after moving from New York. I really enjoyed living there! The staff in the office goes above and beyond trying to assist you. For Easter this year, they placed paper eggs around the building and if you so happened to find one you won a prize. Maintenance usually came within 24 hours of putting in a ticket even if it was a minor issue. Living here puts you in walking distance to P&L and the river market. Overall I had a great experience living there and I dont have a single complaint! If you are looking to live in the downtown area this is the place to be.
I hate leaving people negative reviews, but I cant get across to this company any other way. Ive rented through KC Loft Central for a year and a half now. They have terrible communication. Dont set your rent up for autopayment, because they will randomly charge you late fees. I had to call and talk to someone 3 different times for them to take a late fee off that shouldnt have been there. Now that Im trying to move theyve made it impossible for me to sign a lease somewhere else. I applied to one place, and they told me for 3 plus weeks that they werent able to get ahold of anyone at KC Loft Central to do a rental verification after leaving multiple voicemails and emails. I thought it was sketchy and probably on them that they werent able to get ahold of anyone at KC loft central, and ended up applying to other buildings after it had taken about a month and they still hadnt gotten ahold of anyone. Now I have another rental company trying to do a verification with KC Loft Central, and they cant get ahold of anyone either! Ive personally started calling them to ask them to do the verification. I went into the office yesterday and was told by Stephanie that she had already sent it on to Shay to do it. I talked to Shay this morning, and she tells me Stephanie never sent it to her and she was going to talk to her right then. I get a call back from Shay a few minutes later, and Stephanie says that she just recieved it this morning (even though yesterday she told me she already had it). Now Ive been told that their computer systems are conveniently down, so they cant complete the verification anyway! They have caused me to lose so much of my money and time applying to multiple places, and are now about to force me into homlessness by refusing to verify my rental history. Im to the point of calling my attorney. Theyre insanely unprofessional. On top of all this, they also will shut off power and water in the entire building very frenquently. At least every other week, and sometimes multiple times a week.
The gym they pride themselves on during the tour of board of trade is a joke. Half the machines don’t work. The TVs haven’t worked in a year. The air conditioner is never on. It was 83 degrees in there just on 5/29/2018. Everyone complains and management does nothing.
Great people and company. Many loft spaces to choose from and all agents are very helpful.
I lived there a few years ago, when KC Loft Central took over as new management. When I had moved in, the carpet was disgusting and had a huge candle wax stain on the carpet and sorely needed to be replaced. I reported stains in the bathroom floor and damaged carpet on my entrance paperwork. I have never lost a deposit as I am an extreme neat freak. I reported the wax stain, and they did nothing. So I cleaned it myself. Bought a carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpet and tile every month, vacuuming once every week. When I moved out, they only gave me half my deposit back and said they gave me that much because I cleaned the wax stain up. When I asked why I wouldnt get it all back. They said my cat ruined the carpet and bathroom tile and they needed to replace the carpet. My cat has never done anything outside of his litter box...My cousin is a lawyer and I wanted to take them to court, but it wouldt be worth the court fees for what the company owed me. They ignored my requests for compensation and documentation on Better Business Bureau too. Will never live in a place run by this company again!!
I was tenant here for 1 year, and would absolutely never rent or do business with this company again. I was always on time with my rent and gave notice in compliance with the lease terms. When I went to retrieve the final items that were left in my apartment, since I still had possession of the unit, $700 worth of property was stolen out of my unit from someone with a key. The door was locked when I arrived, and my other items that were of no value to them were still there. When I contacted management about my stolen items, I was told to file a police report because, they didnt do it, and they dont want to be responsible for this. The assistant manager, Katie White, as well as the general manager, Shelly Higerd, said that they had asked their employees and they couldnt accuse any of them for this. They also stated that they have no system in place to investigate theft. There are security cameras at the entrance and exit of the buildings. When I asked Katie White if they had viewed the tapes, her response to me was, that would literally take a week, Im not doing that. She also suggested that my own family and friends stole the property, as they were the ones helping me move. The management team at KC Loft Central has no respect for their tenants, which was demonstrated throughout my entire time living at Soho West. For someone considering renting or buying from one of KC Loft Centrals properties in downtown Kansas City, I would strongly advise against it.
KC Loft Central is SO FRUSTRATING. I have been looking for a loft in downtown Kansas City and found KC Loft Central. I have called NUMEROUS TIMES, at least 6 times over the past couple of months. I have left messages and I have also emailed, all of which have gone unanswered. I dont understand why this company is so difficult to contact. I would not consider this excellent costumer service.
The best decision in my life was to buy a unit in this building! Ive made so many great friends, the staff is great, and I absolutely love living in downtown Kansas City!
After moving here 7 years ago, I have been very pleased with the services that KC Loft Central provides. Living at Soho IV and now Board of Trade Lofts, the staff has been overly attentive to my needs. The building is always clean, beautiful architecture and great amenities. The view is awesome. Im always greeted by my name, they have assisted me when sick and always made any repairs as needed promply. The staff here has been awesome! I cant imagine living anywhere in KC except in the awesome Downtown area and working with KCLoft Central with their properties and staff.
Have lived in one of their buildings for over four years. Appreciate a management company that values the tenants.
As a tenant, living in a building as large as SOHO West, you want to feel like youre the only person in the building. As for my experience with SOHO West, it is everything Id hoped to get in a building and location not to mention the management is amazing. On topic of the buildings management, Id say it has made a HUGE turn since Katie White was added to the team. She has made repairs and other procedures much easier and faster compared to how it used to be. Before Katie, I had to wait a MONTH to get my air conditioning fixed (in the middle of July, mind you) while it was getting up to 96 degrees in my loft (can you say, sauna!) and since she has arrived any problem I have had was able to be fixed within three days or less! The four stars is because of the awful experience before the new management (Katie) came in, no one can fix that! But you cant beat the location and the people!
Worst leasing agency I’ve ever had. Not willing to work with you at all and refuse to provide basic leasing agency needs
These apartments(Board of Trade and Library Lofts ) are 100 years old, so except a monthly electricity bill of minimum $200-$300 dollars as the outside air keeps coming to your apartment and the AC/Heater unit runs through out the day and if you have children note the apartment is lead painted which you come to know when you are signing the lease
Wonderful downtown locations, have lived at SoHo and Fountain Lofts. Very helpful staff, quick responses to tenant emails.
****I wanted to provide an update to my review. The comment by the business manager inaccurately stated that I leased directly from a homeowner. This is untrue. I leased directly from the management company. The management company showed a different loft and misrepresented the finishes, I did not find out the new one was dramatically different until move in day. It will be important to request pictures or to see the actual loft moving into. The pet policy was also inaccurately verbally stated. Lease is not available to view until sign in day, when you really cant back out. Also have never been warned that we wouldnt get notices on packages---therefore if receive a gift, etc. in the mail, you will not know until weeks later if someone asks if you received their package. Rent rates do increase by a sizable percentage each year as well. Little changes like more insulation (not sure how easily executable that is) may be able to correct the issues with sound, i.e. being able to hear neighbor upstairs flushing toilet, or alarm next door. I do hope this review is read and feedback is considered to provide future residents a better experience, and complete transparency to future tenants.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------We were residents of the Fountains which is walking distance to several attractions. However, the service and structure itself has not been a positive experience, and the company is generally very dishonest. The biggest issue we have though is that I was shown a unit with granite countertops and higher quality finishes, told that my new apartment had the same finishes, and told I could have a dog or cat (which strongly drove the decision to move in). I didnt find out until move in day that the unit was dramatically different, had much lower-quality finishes and animals werent allowed. With a Uhaul truck full of furniture there was no choice but to move in.Structurally, the walls are thin, so we can hear our neighbor flushing the toilet upstairs and have been woken up by their alarm or TV on numerous occasions.Rate increases are consistent. Since moving in, the cost of parking has increased and rent increases yearly. We have heard this is consistent with other peoples experiences. Therefore, its not a great long term solution just because the rates will continually increase rather than stay somewhat stable.A significant amount of construction is currently taking place at the Folgers plant next door, which begins at 6:00 on the weekends, making it very difficult to sleep in on the weekends or read/relax. We wish we had been notified about this before we moved in.The office does not notify you if youve received packages. Normally this isnt a huge deal if you ordered the items yourselves, but there have been instances of having a package sit in their office for weeks and having no idea until came in for something else.Slow on maintenance. For instance, the elevator was down for over a week. Normally dont mind taking the stairs, but being on a higher floor, this posed an inconvenience in terms of carrying groceries, etc.Just like anything, got to weigh out all aspects of a move-in decision, but if we were more informed we probably would not make the decision to move in again.
My fiancé and I have lived in EBT for a year now. We love the staff at this location. Jessica is a sweetheart and always takes care of all our needs. We are excellent tenants and have decorated our loft well to accent the huge exposed wood beams and the architecture of the building. However, after a year we have been asked to move. Not because we are bad tenants, but because they want to renovate out 2 br apartment and then.... Of course.... Raise the rent.... The story I get is there are so much demand for lofts that they are renovating to keep up with the market demands. Soooo its all about the almighty dollar. Never mind taking care of residents who pay their rent and take excellent care of thier lofts. So now since we dont want to move in the middle of the winter we are stuck moving into a smaller one bedroom in the same building..... And funny thing is, I am hearing in the elevator from other residents that they are doing the same thing to them.Ohhhh then the secure parkingPrice went up this year but yet the gate has been broken two weeks and my fiances spot had been taken as a result forcing her to park on the street. And my car is totally covered with door dings from the tiny spots.EBT - cool building- great staff at the office- but kc lofts sucks!!!!!
Awesome location and awesome leasing agents!
Very rude. I called inquiring about a place and the woman acted as if they didnt need the business. This was going to be a second place for us down in the city so we didnt have to commute so much when entertaining out of town guests or working.
