I believe property supervisor, Linda Kemp, does not act like a supervisor but acts more like a friend and ally to property managers.
Its interesting that Young Management has a tenant screening service because they should better screen their property managers at their property sites. Prairie Ridge Place in Lawrence KS has poor management for many reasons. There are so many cameras in lights fixtures at the exits of this building, its like living in a penitentiary although this is a quiet apt. complex for seniors where nothing bad or illegal happens so it seems since the police never come and its always very quiet. If the manager doesnt like a tenant who hasnt done anything wrong to evict, shell pit their neighbors against them and will have their neighbors spy on them and report back to her if they see anything that she can write them up over or evict them for. This is deceitful, inappropriate and borderlines a breach of confidentiality for her to even discuss one tenant with another one. And Ive never seen an apt. complex where the office door stays closed and the office is off limits not only to the public but even to tenants as is so here.

Have worked with this company for a while now. Have always had a great relationship with them. Their staff are friendly and helpful. Their operations and vision is top notch. We look forward to a long business relationship. Keep up the good work.

Hallways on 3rd floor are dirty at Prairie Ridge Pl. Front doors to C and D wings which serves about 40 tenants are locked with no buzzer system to let visitors in. I heard management just hired an after hours maintenance man but maintenance is n ever done after hours but only on weekdays during the day. That is strange.
I have been employed with Young Management for a couple years. I enjoy working for them, they are a family oriented company and care about the employees they have.
Tammy was very nice and professional and to the point! I called and the receptionist was great as well. They actually answered the phone in a timely manner and handled my concern right away.
Young Management doesnt seem interested in complaints made to them by tenants or maybe they dont believe what tenants say.
Horrible Management company. Talk down to you all the time. Have no procedures in place. Don’t ask a question or you will have all the corporate people belittle you. Can’t go to HR because the owner and head of HR are married . Had a Maintenance boss lady Tammy that didn’t have a clue what she was doing. Nope not a clue. Operation Manager that was never there to help and didn’t care. Bought the property I worked at end of November and when I left December 19th still had no clue what they were doing. Hands down worse company I have ever worked for.
Awful! This company does not care about anyone but themselves. They are money hungry and do not care what their tenants are living in. If I could give them no stars I would. Please please please do not move in to their properties. They have code enforcement on their tails all the time. Mold, roaches, and bedbugs run rampant in their communities. It’s disgusting!!!!
One of the worse property company I have ever rented from.The employees are only their to collect rent money.I have complained several times about not haveing electricity on three seperate occasion to only be treated like it was okay as long as it wasnt them.I have had water pipes busted to only be told try not to use it.
