I was applying for the Residences at Prairiefire and everything was cool at first. When I applied, I didnt get approved, which is fine. What is not fine, is Maddie not getting back to me. It also seemed like my phone was blocked because every time I called the office number, my phone received a busy signal after a few rings. I had someone else call, they got through, and they told me that Maddie was short with them. I had to email the manager because I felt I deserved an answer. That went over better. Just be professional and inform somebody of the decision.
I lived at an apartment complex in West Des Moines for 3 years. I paid 1500 to break my lease after CRES took over for the following reasons...1. The place was dirty( a company came once a week to clean and there was trash everywhere in between).2. I tried to call maintenance and no one responded3. When I did connect they were rude4. I had ripped screens from a storm and they told me good luck because they only have one maintenance man.5. I had bats in my place. I could not connect to any person on the weekend for help6. A tenant had a refrigerator box full of trash in the hall for several days. It was several doors down but the smell permeated into my apartment. I called several times with no response. It had rotting meat in it!7. This was a really nice place until CRES took over!!!!
Everyone from corporate ownership and management to each staff member I’ve met has had my interest in mind. Thank You All.
I loved working for Cres. They take the time to train you right!! They care about their employees. Great benefits. One of the best companies to work for!
Working for CRES Management allowed me to become part of a family. Each employee was treated as an important part of the team. Our value was openly expressed by every level of management. Personal advancement was made a top priority and they took a personal interest in making sure we could perform to the best of our ability. Clear and realistic expectations were always set to ensure every level operated smoothly and we were able to provide the best support to the multi-housing industry. I felt valued and supported the entire time I worked for CRES Management.
Absolutely appalling the way their employees treat tenants. The conditions of there newest property take over in Bellevue NE is obscene. Bellevue Hills is in shambles and looks like the ghetto. Hopefully this message gets to someone who cares because our main office never answers their phones and when they do they tell you your confused about answer to very specific questions about their property.
I enjoyed working for CRES. The benefits they offer are amazing including FREE health insurance. Very responsive and supportive from upper management if you run into a bind or simply just need a lending ear. Would still be working for CRES if our properties had not sold. One of the best companies to work for.
As a former employee of cres management I can say they are one of the best companies to work for. The benefits and the support they give to employees is the best.
C.R.E.S Management, LLC is a wonderful management company to work for! I have been with them for over a year and I love how family-oriented the entire company is! The benefits are amazing and the work environment is the best I have ever experienced! If you are looking for a wonderful management company to work for, this is the one!
I live at a CRES property and really like it. Maintenance is normally there the day I call and they get it done the first time. The people in the office are always nice and I feel very at home at Town Center.
I am a resident at Town Center, Overland Park. Your management and maintenance staff harassed and intimidated me. I have asked for the regional managers contact, but the manager refused to provide such information. I have lived on your property for only three months. I placed my trust in your management when I chose to live at your property, but you have completely failed my trust. I was without hot water for a total of 17 days. It wasn’t until after your maintenance supervisor verbally intimidated me that they finally replaced the water heater. I have been suffering from emotional trauma since and do not feel safe in my own home. I need to talk to your corporate office ASAP.
I was a CRES employee for 3 years and was promoted twice within the 3 years I was employed. This was my first experience in the multi-family industry and if it werent for amazing management I dont think I would be where I am today! CRES is a great company to work for and has the ability to coach, shape and teach you how to be successful in any aspect of your career. The company values their employees and have multiple ways of showing their appreciation. All in all CRES Management was an amazing company to work for and I would still be with them today if my property had not sold to a new owner!
I worked for CRES Management for just under 2 years and was invited back for the summer while my fiancé was deployed. I loved the company itself as well as the owners and upper management. *They* {owners and upper management} would come in and visit with us. *They* also did an awards ceremony for us and made it special and fun.The only reason I left the company is bc we were being stationed elsewhere. If I make it back to KC I’d absolutely work for them again! Would love to work for the corporate office, that’s how much I love this company.
I have been with CRES Management for 9 years. I even relocated to stay with the company. They are family oriented and such a good company to work for. They go above and beyond for their employees and for their communities. I have been through several take overs and sales. They make the process as easy as possible. I highly recommend CRES communities for living and CRES Management for employment.
CRES Management made me the award winning employee I am today. They took a risk on me with no previous Property Management experience, trained me up and helped me rise. They take amazing care of their employees and love each of their properties. I loved working for this company. The only reason I dont any longer was the sale of a community and I stayed with the new Management team. If you are looking to make a future in Property Management...CRES is the way to go!
As a current resident of a CRES apartment complex(Vintage at Zona Rosa), I can say that I have only encountered the most helpful, prompt, and nice people working for CRES Management. They seem to really care about their residents and want us to have the best experience possible. Carly and Jennifer have been awesome in the leasing office. They both worked to get me every moving in deal they could. All of the staff have always been prompt and friendly. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their complex. I’m planning on sticking around for a long time.
Im a tenant at the legend at kitty hawk converse texas. Several building have burnout security lights. I have address the issue to the management office, but so far we still have a issue. Whatever happen to peoples safety????
I am a current resident at the Vintage at Zona Rosa property in Kansas City, MO. I am moving to Florida on the 15th of December. I made them aware of this months prior. I was given a Pro Rated amount of $393 dollars to pay up until the move. I paid 395. Today, 6th of December, they are saying I need to pay a remaining balance of 671 dollars. Now when I asked why, they say I notified them too late as they have a 60 day end of lease agreement. Initially, it was explained to me by the staff that when I paid my pro rated amount, I would not have to pay for the remainder of the month, now they are saying and I quote Even though it was explained to you wrong, you still need to pay. so now I am having to pay extra because of their inability to properly explain to me what I needed to do to end my leasing agreement.
I was so excited to live in the Residence of Prairiefire. However, after moving in last August I began to realize I had made a HUGE mistake. The extreme noise from my neighbors upstairs is making this apartment unlivable. I met my upstairs neighbors about a week after moving in and she immediately apologized and explained that the previous tenant had moved out due to the extreme noise and was VEEY unhappy with them. There had been several calls to the police and a lot of frustration due to the extremely noisy living conditions. Part of it comes from the fact that the apartments are very poorly constructed and the walls are paper thin. It sounds like a bowling alley above me but beyond that I can also hear everything… Including when my neighbors sneeze, laugh, throw up and snore. There is ZERO privacy. I would never have lived here if I had known that noise was such a huge issue here. And I feel that it was not disclosed to me that I was walking into a very bad situation. It’s not fair that they did not tell me about the extreme noise level that have been documented and the police have been involved several time.On top of the noise issue there is the day to day issue with the parking. As a resident you only get one parking place per person on the lease. In my case, I’m not going to add my college-aged son or daughter to my lease so that they can have a parking spot when they come to visit occasionally from school. So that means they have to try to find a visitor parking spot that is by the clubhouse which is quite a distance from my apartment building. In the event they are lucky enough to find an empty spot it’s very inconvenient. Most times though those visitor (only 18 spots to hundreds of residents) are always taken up by resudents who have two people living in the apartment and two vehicles and only one person on the lease. I’ve seen cars parked there for weeks at a time because if they move they know the chances of getting a parking spot are slim to none. The parking is completely inadequate and makes your day-to-day life here very miserable. You basically cannot have visitors when you live in these apartments and that is not acceptable! Who wants to live like that? When you ask the people in the office they will tell you that none of them live here and now I see why. Kara, the manager is very unfriendly and unprofessional. I ran into her at a local restaurant and she was stuck with other employees from the complex. She laughed and said she was so glad she wasn’t going back to the Residences of Prairiefire that night because I had mentioned I may not find a parking spot that time of the evening.I am extremely disappointed and feel I was lied to and should have been told what I was moving into. I have made it known and no one cares at all. Very very unhappy. The apartments are a Beautiful but extremely poorly made with no thought at all to the residence needing parking. We don’t live in New York City or Chicago this is Kansas City and every apartment around here has more than adequate parking. I’ve never had to deal with anything like this and I would highly caution anyone looking at these apartments to NOT move here!
C.R.E.S took over after I already moved into an apartment building. They seemed okay at first and then they started charging for ridiculous things I didnt sign for originally in the lease. They also wouldnt fix major appliances in my apartment along with leaving unlivable situations when they didnt finish. Now that Ive moved out they tried charging me for things in my apartment that were fine but because we didnt complete a walk out they say its not to standards.
I’ve been trying to call and talk to a person about Cambridge at River Oaks (horrible place) but nobody answers and I just get the run around with VM’s, pretty sure I’ve gone that route clearly with no results so I’d like to speak with someone above the Cambridge office manager
I lived at a C.R.E.S managed apartment complex in Marietta, GA for 3 years. The amount of stress and anguish Ive had with this property is beyond acceptable. I found the people who work there to be unresponsive to their residents, and unwilling to do what needs to be done in order to maintain a decent property. My first really major issue was when I found water under the floor covering in the kitchen along with chunks of the sub-flooring that was crumbling due to the moisture in the apartment. Eventually I found out that the reason for this was a leak in the water pipes which caused flooding in the dining area. It took a month for this to be satisfactorily fixed. Once this was completed, I asked the management to give the water under the kitchen floor time to evaporate; and then address new flooring being laid - as it would stand to reason that mold would build up under the floor covering. This was never done.Around a year later, a water line burst again in the walls. This, again, caused flooding in the dining room. This time, approximately a week went by before a plumber finally came to address the issue. In order to get this final attention, I had to call the regional manager. By that time, my dining room was about 2 to 3 inches in water. In order to fix this issue, sheet rock had to be cut in the utility closet. Upon completion of the water line being repaired, the sheet rock was never replaced. I lived the rest of my time with a hole in the wall of the utility closet. At this time my lease was up for renewal. I asked that several items be addressed if I were to stay in the apartment. They were not addressed. Then the hot water heater in the apartment up above me burst and water was running into my utility closet and bathroom through the ceiling. It eventually moved down the wall - even into the dining room ceiling. This water continued to run from my ceiling for 3 days; but no one came to check on me or address my situation.By this time, I had had enough. I asked them to move me to another apartment or I would be leaving at the end of my lease period. I was told that there were two apartments I could look at; and a tentative appointment to view them was set up. This appointment was never kept; nor an apology/excuse given for the lack thereof.I finally moved out. My lease was not up until December 31, 2013. I chose to move out on December 23 because I was tired of dealing with the management and because my apartment was infested with cockroaches. And, basically, because I hated being in that place for one day more. When I did my final cleanup in the apartment, I found black mold on the wall behind my dryer, green mold behind a few pictures I had on the wall in the bathroom - I had to pry them off the wall as they had adhered from the moisture, and another type of mold in a few of the kitchen cabinets.Since my move out, I have spent the last 4 months waiting for a pet deposit to be returned to me. I have been told several times that it is taking so long because the person who has to sign the check has been unavailable. Then last week, I was told that I may not get all of my deposit back because I turned off my gas on December 23 when I moved out; and I may have to pay the remainder of the gas bill and penalty charges for having the gas taken out of my name prior to the final December 31 lease day - even though I paid them for the full months rent; and there was no one there to use the gas.I have been trying to get in touch with the regional management to discuss my issues; but can not seem to get them to return my calls.I realistically cannot give C.R.E.S. Management any stars. I feel I have suffered enough at their hands. Im not asking for anything that is not due me. Just tired of being treated like I have no rights.
I made a claim to fix it after last years heater breakdown. I claimed to repair it several times but it still was not working. It was too cold.I had to stay at the hotel a few times and then a young repairman came and replaced one switch and It was working normally. But now there is no the young skilled repairman. The fact that there are repairmen who do not know what is the problem means that you can experience many inconveniences in living here.Next, I will talk about what happened last summer.
I am a resident of Town Center Apartments in Overland Park. CRES took over ownership on December 12. 2014. After happily living in this community for more than 3 years, I am moving. The office staff are unresponsive or rude with every interaction. My husband and I are professionals who are living in Overland Park for a short term assignment. We love the location and the layout of the 3 bedroom. I have recommended this complex to several others in the past. Almost overnight things changed.Communication to residents is very limited and late. For instance, we received a note that the gym was closed after it was closed. An alternative was provided for a fee but no map, contact number, or address of the alternative was included. Last week I got a notice that my rent was late and found a very detailed description of the late charges. It also showed I had a significant credit on my account. Of course they didnt bother telling me they owed me anything. When I called to let them know the payment had not only been submitted but had already cleared the bank, I heard nothing. I had to call and request a new statement. A full week later and I have nothing.Today I find a notice that my lease is expiring in April. Rent is increasing but there is no explanation as to why or what I will receive. It is a legalistic note and has says second notice. When I called the office, no one answered so I walked over. It is closed. I called again and tried to leave a message, when I press the key to leave one it hangs up.The apartments are terrific! The location is unbelievably walkable. The neighbors are friendly and long-timers. It is a community. Unfortunately the new owners know nothing about customer service and do not seem to have basic processes under control. The website lists amenities that are not here. Stay away as long as CRES Management is managing the place.
C.R.E.S Management is amazing! Great company to work for!
Im currently a resident at Cambridge at River Oaks and I would highly recommend looking into the property manager here, a Ms. Jennifer Scott as she is very dishonest and seems to be the common denominator to the low reviews and ratings to your complex.
Love Cres!
