I lived in stadium drive apartment with my family for 18 months. It was nice but absolutely need some improvement. If this apartment complex is still designated for graduate student with family, my suggestion is to change the furniture to another design that more kids friendly. The furnitures mostly made from steel for sturdiness, but also has a negative side. I have to wrap all the sharp corner with thick pads for my kids safety.

Lived in Goldsworth Valley ApartmentsSmall, unpleasant to look at. Many things had to constantly be fixed throughout the year. No air conditioning like the other apartments so many have to buy window units. Stink bugs ran rampant. I recommend the other apartments on campus or an off campus apartment all together. There’s a reason Western only shows the inside of the Western View Apartments. Those are new and pretty but extremely expensive. Beware.

Ive had stinkbug infestations in two apartments I rented. Highly advise against living there senior year as you literally get kicked out day of commencement. Management is unhelpful, and although you can get parking passes for free, they dont collaborate with parking services to ensure passes are valid through the lease term like most complexes. I got a ticket simply because I didnt know I had to renew a FREE pass at a new semester even though there were NO changes with my lease. Dont expect a ton of help over the phone either. Only thing good about living here is BroncoFixIt works a lot faster than most apartment complexes. If youre looking for good, cheap housing pay a little extra and stay at embassy terrace on West main. Youll have a pool, really friendly service, much better amenities, bigger apartment, and most importantly will never get a freaking ticket for parking in front of your own building. its only like $75 bucks a more a month assuming a roommate.TLDR: Not a surprise that WMU is a heavy commuter school.
