I recently moved out of here after living there for a year. The apartments themselves are not bad. It is very spacious and not a bad price for the room you get. However thats about all of the good parts. The laundry is expensive and can only fit the tiniest loads. They really dont have any amenities. They say they have a pool but I think its open for a total of one week in the summer. They did have a playground but its been destroyed and they said they were putting in a dog park but it has been quite awhile since I heard that rumor and it is still a pile of rubble. The hallways and buildings are always littered with trash. I understand that they are not responsible for tenants littering but also, it is your job to make the apartment complex/building look nice. I would say, if you cant find anything else in your price range, go for it, but I dont think it is somewhere that I could live longer than a year or two.

Slow Maintenance. Been Here for two weeks and still yet to have a working oven. My Shower is all jacked up, plumbing wise. There is no emergency maintenance number and the office is aware and been aware for a minute.

This way it will be mush easier to use that machine is stuff with quarters that I need to use all my strength to get that machine to work.

Terrible place to live. Someone broke into my car recently, the office refuses to take packages so somehow my packages has been coming up lost/ stolen. It takes forever for maintenance to fix anything, even the smallest things, I feel like they don’t take anything seriously. There’s mold in the bathroom, The countertop is peeling, I just don’t even feel safe living here honestly. And they want 3 months rent just to break the lease, I wish we wouldn’t have resigned the lease it was a terrible idea. This place is becoming ghetto.

Me and my wife just moved out here this past weekend and we love it. The prices for the apartment is amazing, especially given the area were in. Jill has been awesome to us this past week, shes very consistent and always on time when you need her and did i forget to mention the area. Were near West Main which as all the stores you need and restaurants, literally WALKING distance. If you need a place to live give Country Club Park Apartments a shot you will not be disappointed.

Rent is great for the unit size and wonderful location. Pet friendly. Fantastic staff, both the manager and the maintenance team are wonderful. Walking distance to everything I need, (bank, grocery, pet store, and more!), and I love living here. Ill continue living here for a long time.

ATTENTION: DO NOT rent from country club apartments in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The owners manage from Florida and only want one thing....YOUR HARD WORK EARNED rent MONEY!!!!!! The owners want to show you the model apartment, but in turn show you a unit with dirty carpet, holes in the threshold of doorways, and a trashy disgusting laundry room with holes in the floor board. The owner wants you to sign your lease than fix your apartments repairs later which WILL NOT get done!!! Many residents have severe issues with there apartments and nothing is being done...the owner is extremely extremely cheap and WILL NOT fix your repairs, but in turn wants your hard word earned $850+ rent money!!! ATTENTION: To all you current renters with repairs needing attention...BY LAW, you DO NOT have to pay the owner of your rent money but put the rent money in a ESCROW until your repairs are fixed and up living standards for you and your loved ones!!! If taken to court, the judge will favor your judgment as long as you have proof of the repairs needed and nothings being done about it by the owners. Country Clup Park apartments is owned by SLUM LORDS.....DO NOT pave these dishonest lying owners way!!! Yours truly for the working class and in GODS NAME I SPEAK.... current renter!!

My husband I have lived here for a little over 2 years and since bringing on the new manager Jill, our experience has been great. Many of the maintenance requests we had put in previously were ignored by past managers, but When Jill came on she was quick at getting past requests fulfilled. The work that has been done by PJ, one of the maintenance guys has been exceptional. The change in staff recently has really made this a pleasant community to be a part of.

We have lived here several years. When we first moved here the staff, the upkeep and the apartment complex was terrible. The new Manager Jill, has been awesome taking care of the residents. She said,” The residents here have been neglected for too long, and I am going to fix that!” She’s given this apartment complex a total makeover and has a heart for the residence. So now, it’s a wonderful, friendly and beautiful place to Leah. Thank you Jill!

I lived here for 2 years (2015-2017) and I had a great experience! I moved out recently only because my roommate got married and I needed to downsize. Maintenance was usually prompt in responding to issues, people in the office were friendly and helpful, the apartments are spacious (and pet friendly), and rent is reasonable with many utilities included. My building was always pretty quiet and we never had any major problems with neighbors. Management changed during my time here, and we had a leasing issue arise during the transition. When I spoke with the current office manager, she was very understanding and we were able to resolve the issue quickly and painlessly! They are making a lot of improvements right now; parking has been repaved, buildings are being painted, the pool was updated, etc., and its looking very nice! Overall, I had a positive experience, and responsible tenants shouldnt have any major problems!

Very slow response for the maintenance request. Do not trust them if they told you that they will solve a problem asap. My AC unit do not work properly for the last two months and I told them to maintain or replace it but they did not do any thing as they promise. No body respond to more than six times maintenance requests. They ignore my voice message. I payed more than $200 for consumers energy because they did not replace me AC unit. They promise to replace the fogy glass but they did not. In conclusion, the worst office to deal with ever. My car has been stolen from the parking lot !! No security cameras at all.

I recently moved OUT of country club and was asked to leave a review.I lived at country club for a little over 2 years. It was great up until Jill the old apartment manager left. I have recently moved out, but the place was slowly turning into fox ridge apartments (Alamo). The unit that was directly under me got shot up, the bug infestation happened about a couple of months before I moved out and was really bad, all they did was put down sticky traps, and maintenance was not very quick - On average it took about a month to get anything fixed. Loved the place when I first moved in but started to hate it once there was no stable management. Place is going down hill quick, and the people who run the account are petty and do not take responsibility for their actions by trolling the reviews. Childish. At least respect what people have to say bc I can assure you it’s 100% true they’re just trying to save their name. Which they should change soon before someone sues them. I gave 3 stars because my entire experience was not awful, but the last half of my residency there was worth 2 stars on a good day.

Ive lived here for almost 4 years, and this place has really turned around in the last year! Jill Audette, the new property manager has done a 180 with this apartment complex. I am now proud to call this place home, and if it werent for changing my daughters school I would stay here another 5 years! Jill has made this place feel like home more and more every single day, and she truly cares about this complex as if she owned the whole thing. She is super attentive to residents needs and makes sure any problem is fixed right away. She makes you feel important and cared for, and I will be sad to be leaving this new home next month. Thank you Jill for everything you have done and I would refer anyone to live here.

Maintenance takes a few days to respond to any incident and are very under qualified. They had no idea what they were doing. The office is always closed for an emergency and there are no security cameras. My car was broken into, window shattered, stuff stolen and they didnt do anything about it. The storage unit flooded 3 different times and they didnt replace any of my belongings. They didnt even fix the flooding issue for over a month. Our refrigerator was broken for over a week. They told us they would be here to get it replaced and I had to constantly remind them about the issues. The day they were going to fix it, they said a certain time and didnt show up for another 4 hours. The day of our move in we were driving over to move in and I received a phone call telling me the apartment wasnt ready for move-in. They had to schedule a carpet cleaning and it didnt get cleaned until the following day after 4pm.

Worst maintenance ever! Asked them to change the balcony door since September 2013 no response! The thing made it unbearable is that when you ask them to fix something their reactions says it all! Without saying anything they dont hide feeling annoyed by you and some even missing the basics of welcoming atmosphere! They need to hire experience workers both in maintenance and the office.

I was shown the model apartment, which was lovely. I was promised an apartment just like it - new carpet, fresh paint, and clean. I repeatedly asked to see the unit I would be renting and was promised that I would get to see it prior to signing a lease. They stalled until I signed the lease, and I didnt get to see the unit until it was too late to cancel the moving company.First, the carpet: Essentially a cat (or multiple cats) had clawed the carpet up throughout most of the unit. In the dining room area, we found cat litter still embedded in the carpet. Not only was it not the new carpet that I was promised, it hadnt even been cleaned. I went into the small bedroom, and I found that the carpet was coming up in the corner, and it was dirty underneath with exposed nails. This was the bedroom that was intended for my five year old son. So, not only could he not stay there because of the urine soaked contaminated carpets, the carpeting wasnt even safely secured. I went into the kitchen. Like everything else in the apartment, it had not been cleaned. The floor was dirty, stained, and even had some burn marks, the counters werent clean, but the major filth was hidden behind the closed doors. I thought it would be a quick, albeit annoying (since I had been promised a clean apartment), cleaning job until I opened the cupboards - food remnants, oily residue, sticky stuff, dust, dirt. It was disgusting. It was clear that they had not been cleaned, especially when I found a pill in one! When I opened the fridge I was appalled at the brown smears throughout.I went into the bathroom. I had been warned that the tub had normal stains... No, it obviously hadnt been cleaned at all. It was so dirty that I would have had to scour it extensively prior to use. Then I looked up. I couldnt believe it. Around the exhaust fan, it looked as if part of the ceiling was falling in, and there were water droplet all over the ceiling. The ceiling was leaking! In addition to the bathroom not being clean (and the chipped mirrors, and the bathroom door with the mystery splashes - possibly more cat urine), the ceiling was leaking and the area where the ceiling looked like it could fall was directly over the bathtub. There was already pieces of debris in the tub that had fallen from the ceiling.I couldnt believe that any apartment complex would rent out a unit in this condition, especially to someone with a young child. There were also holes in the screens and missing siding, so there were insects getting into the apartment. Nothing had been cleaned, and the porch even had mold growing on it.I called the office. No answer -by this time the office was closed. I left a message. I called emergency maintenance. The maintenance man was prompt and came out immediately. He took out his cell phone and he not only tried to get ahold of the office and owners, but he took pictures of the damages. He told me that the previous occupant had abandoned a cat in the apartment. After many conversations with extremely rude and unprofessional leasing/management staff, I did get my payments back (along with a voided lease), but I was still out over $1250 in moving expenses. I was shocked at how smug and proud management was, boasting that they had every right to rent out substandard units, since the ordinance office had to grant them a certain amount of time to fix things, so they wouldnt ever get in trouble.

Ive been a resident here for several months and I wished I had looked longer for another place. Office staff and maintenance are very nice but none of the amenities advertised ate available.*The pool is not yet open due to repairs.*The clubhouse is not useable. It is a storage facility for the office.*The front property is lovely but the further into the property you go the worse it looks.*Cats roam freely and the smell of cat urine can be strong and overwhelming at times.*Driveway is full of potholes.I have had a maintenance request in since April and its still not fixed. I also have a tarp over my patio that was on place when I moved in. I was told it would be taken care of in June since the contractors where on the property. Now Im told the person that needs to ok repairs is on vacation.

The maintenance is inconsistent so theres basically a rotation of strangers they give keys to enter your home. Its a work for rent credit kind of deal that should not give other tenants access to your home. *If someone is there when you are not home, check for broken furniture, table legs that are not screwed in but just slid back in place** Thats if they send anyone at all because no requested maintenance unless maybe they like you or there is a fire. The office hours changed and staff is inconsistent which untrustworthy. They are dismissive and rude simply because even when you take the time to call MJC Management who owns the property there is no resolve. And for the grounds. The carports are gravel with large broken cement. In a nutshell because I could certainly go on, renters beware

This place started out ok when we moved in in 2013. It has gone down hill ever since. Hallway lights were almost never on. We are supposed to keep the doors to the building shut so they lock, but you could basically pick the door and push it off the entryway, so if anyone wanted in bad enough, they could probably make it happen. Our bathroom ceiling leaked for almost a year, all they did to fix it was put plywood up to cover it. It then began leaking through that, so they tore the plywood down and left the bare ceiling open almost another half a year. They finally put new drywall in the ceiling...it leaked through that. It was still leaking through the drywall in the ceiling before we left in May 2017. Multiple notifications were given to the office and maintenance staff throughout this whole ordeal...even the owners were notified and still nothing happened. That was a huge risk for mold and illness due to mold...there is no way there isnt mold! Upstairs neighbors were nice, but their kids were up running around all hours of the night stomping away. I have lived in apartments before and know some noise is to be expected, but it was ridiculous. That along with the overcoming stench of marijuana when you entered the building (my husband and I do not partake) was terrible. If you decide to look here, PLEASE insist on getting a walk through of the apartment you will be renting and check out the integrity of the building overall as well as the actual apartment.
