I have lived in their Willows property for two years now and it has been AWESOME! Its super close to campus as well as a great deal. My neighbors are nice and its usually pretty quiet! Ive loved living here and will be living here for the next year too!

I have been speaking with American Realty about a property that Ive been interested in. All of our communication has been via email and Kourtney B has gone above and beyond to answer all my questions, send videos of the unit, and be flexible in scheduling a showing. All of my friends/family familiar with the Kalamazoo area have heard great things about people living at this property (The Colonial) and I am very pleased with my experience thus far.

Managment is excellent! The staff is very friendly, reliable, and extremely attentive. Kourtney and Shainna in the office are awesome and work so hard to ensure our residency at Hillside Village is nothing but exceptional.

Please do yourself a favor and dont sign here. My home was picked clean and Ive had thousands of dollars of items stolen including a vehicle. The land lord will ask you to take your hammock down before she cares about you being face to face with a home invader. Yes the rent is cheap, but do the math, its too good to be true.

Rent is reasonable, units are decent, exterior of Hillside Village is dirty and needs to be cleaned and painted, tenants throw their trash wherever is convenient for them.

Amazing experience as as resident for the past year and a half at West Campus Village. Management has always been willing to help me out and work with me every step of the way. Some of the most friendly nice people Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. On a side note, the maintenance team was always quick with their response whenever a problem arose.

Place is very run down, they just remodel asthetics to make it look nice from the outside. Multiple ceiling leaks and electricity issues were known by landlord when I signed the lease but they did not share or fix them when they became worse issues. They only care about getting their rent money.

I’ve lived at an Ancora Properties apartment for about a year and a half. In that time, they have made many improvements to the building, including painting, new doors, fixing the parking lots, and adding a dog park. The staff works very hard to keep the place nice and comfortable for the residents. Maintenance is prompt and kind, and the office staff is very helpful, even to the point of helping me find a new roommate. I’m very pleased with my experience living here so far.

Good luck getting your security deposit back. They also charge your account with rent even after the lease has expired and are unavailable when you call to resolve the issue. Been trying to get handled for months with daughter.

I live at hillside village, awesome staff! They are always so nice and on top of things! Nice units and the walk-in closets and love how close it is to campus! Plus it is pet friendly and the good prices make it even better! Shaina and Jenn that work in the office are seriously the greatest!

By far the best property Ive leased from so far. Staff is always friendly and outgoing, laundry facility is always clean. Grounds are well maintained, with nice curb appeal. Rent is fairly priced, you get what you pay for. Overall, great place to live!

Im on Instagram and I get notice 900miles away (that a place I would never go to) You rent is almost due and rent can be paid with a check or an app. 30million people are filling for unemployment right now and Ancora doubles down on Ads.

Hillside Village is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in, they don’t bother you with a million emails unless it’s necessary, the apartments are very large for the price, and the building is kept up very well! I’ve been through the ringer with apartments while living in Kalamazoo, I’m happy I finally found a place I can call home.

Currently live at Hillside Village. Great apartments for the cost. Extremely happy with customer service. Treated like a customer should be. Maintainence is skilled and responds to all requests in a timely manner. Property managers listen to your concerns and go out of their way to make sure you feel you were taken care of.

I really enjoyed living here! Its a really nice facility for a good price. Maintenance and staff were always helpful and fast for when I needed them. Definitely recommend!

I live in birchwood ancora propertys owns this location They hire trashy quick get it done people the cleaners dont do good jobs they not once but twice have thrown old apt cabnets carbets and sinks off the belcony people let there animals roam i also have reported things that quit working like plugs and celiing fans and its ben a month they have not fixed it they have a fire pit but your not allowed to have a fire in it and they did not remoble the apt like they said still has old carpet from prior tenets old hooks in ceiling that i had to remove my self mold in widows moldy ac unit out side and in that i had to clean thumb tacks in the capet (i have two kids one walks the other crawls) the cleaning lady only brings a vacume they really need to make a change here 600 somthing amonth plus pet deposet was not worth what we live in

Very rude people! I was considering leasing with Hillside Village because I was reffered by a friend that it was a nice place to stay, on top of that very close to WMU campus. However, the lady who assist me over the phone was very rude and unwelcoming. Then when speaking to the manager she laughed when I complained.I’ll never lease with them.

I have lived at Austin view for several years and I am very impressed at how well Ancora has turned this community around. Very family friendly place to live!

Most unprofessional management I have ever seen in my life. They never pick up the office phone and never return voicemails. They towed my car from my own parking lot. Very rude and unpleasant experience. Never ever sign lease with them. They are unprofessional and dont have anything organized.

Never ever rent an apartment with ancora properties ..... very very very poor management. They will never answer your calls and emails. They will tow your car for no reason. these people are big time racists.

THE WORST company I have ever come a crossed!!!!!!! Offered time and time again to put down a deposit, or anything else I needed to do in order to secure apartment. Was told everything was all set. Had an appointment to do all paperwork at 5pm and was texted at 3:24pm that the manager Jen had accepted a deposit from someone else. When I FINALLY got this manager on the phone all she could say is that she simply overrode Jenna and decided to give it to another girl because she felt bad for her situation. They didnt even inform me that someone else may be interested that had seen it! The unprofessionalism of this company is endless!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! I can only imagine how they treat their tenants!!!! NEVER WILL I EVER LOOK AT ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PRIOPERTIES!!!!! This is not how you do business!!!!

Horrible customer service. Make sure to know the content of the lease before even applying. Management was rude and the care for customer service is basically non existent.

We spent our entire lease without having screens in some of our most important windows. We have mold that grows in every single room in this house. ANCORA IS AWFUL
