The best nail salon in the area. Everyone here extremely professional and nice and the salon is always clean and spotless. You also get a complimentary drink as a bonus.However, today I was getting a pedicure and the lady next to me had a health problem that affected her toe nails and these wonderful people went above and beyond to not only just put polish on her nails but they were able to build up her nails so they looked like normal toe nails. The customer never asked for that and she was extremely grateful for them saying that no other salon had ever offered to do that before, you can just tell that their small act made her day.

I live right down the road from this salon. The first time I went I had a great experience. The nail artist was patient and kind. I told her about my fingers and nails being very sensitive. She was very gentle and easy. She did not cut me one time I was so happy! I came the second time asking around for her and she was gone. So I had to have someone else do them. It was a Sunday and there were only 2 people working. I waited an hour to be helped. I warned the lady about my nails being sensitive and how they burn if they get cut or if the drill hits the skin on top of having acetone placed on the burn or cut after ward. It is very bothersome for me. She was very kind but was terrible at doing nails. Because they were packed she was in a hurry and literally cut and drilled my skin on every single finger. I couldn’t even do the dishes for a day or two because it hurt so bad. I do not recommend this place at all.

This was a last resort for me on a Sunday but let me tell you I am so pleased with finding this little gem. The ladies were sweet and professional, I didn’t catch the techs nails that did mine but she was patient and helped me work through stepping out of my comfort zone with color and design. I am so obsessed with my nails it’s not even funny, enough to come on here to post a review. If you’re looking for a good quality spot that makes sure you’re taken care of this is the one. Hands down will make the 30 minute drive every time I need my nails done from now on 🥰🥰🥰

I had an awesome experience being their my first time however I was almost done and the lady doing my nails wanted to make my nails were completely dry, the owner whispered in her ear to hurry up. That’s bad customer service as a owner. After paying $112 and was happy to come back and then she did that, I will definitely be taking my business somewhere else. My money is just as important as the next.

It was fine. the quality isnt great. the actual applying of the acrylic was perfect but the painting was not good at all. the nail tec was sweet. the quality was just bad.

Ive been here twice so far as a walk-in and was lucky to sit with Ivy and Danny whom I had been hoping for per the reviews. The drinks are complimentary, however I was never offered anything on my first visit. Although I already have some gel peeling on two of my nails after a week, I will definitely come back since Ivy and Danny have been so courteous.

It was alright. The woman who did my pedi I feel like she did it very rushed and didnt really do a great job. I also paid extra for a 10 min massage and they didnt set a timer and I was checking with my phone and it was only 6 minutes. I didnt want to be confirtationale because she couldnt really understand English but Id say its a decent price except just to make sure you get what you ask for when you go in.

Worst experience ever. I went in there being able to walk. I complained that my feet were burning during the pedicure. I got up and couldnt walk properly. They scrapped my feet raw and blistered from the product burning my skin. Had to get 5 bandaids put on my toes. Oh and told me i came in there with my toes raw. Spent $47 they and wanted to bargain a discounted refund. What the hell. Have to call back to hopefully get a refund. Do not go there.

Since I have been coming to them the atmosphere is always amazing they take pride in their work and I would recommend anyone to come here if you want great service and a good relaxing pedicure or manicure they even pamper you

They do nails nicely and really good but I waited about 2 hours to get my nails only done and watched over 4 people who got there after I did go before me...really fustrating. I will go until I find a better nail salon. The wait was to long and unpleasant and I wasn’t even addressed about waiting as I watched people get their nails done.

Consistently excellent service here for years now since they opened. You get Mary if you’re lucky and it will be the best pedicure of your life. She digs in deep and doesn’t rush and it’s a whole experience with her. I’ve moved from Riverside now but still come back here.

I like th location, based on my first two visits, there were two young ladies who were helpful in explaining better ways to care for my nails and services. I was happy with the end results. Nevertheless, on my 3rd visit, I find out the ladies had been padding my bill. I paid 100$ each visit, pedicure and SNS for my nails. My third visit was 60$. The manager took care of me and the two ladies are no longer employed there. (Not of my doing). But again, the service is great, a restful atmosphere, and the prices are standard.

I have used this facility several times before without issues. Today, however, the pedicure tech cut not one, but both of my big toes with the cuticle cutter, causing me to bleed. One of them is now especially tender. I also have either a burn from a hot stone or a welt from a nail scratch on the back of my calf. The paint is also sloppy and uneven. I dont know if she is new, but she needs retraining.

I honestly dont know what acrylic they use but it’s horrible, my fingers WERE STINGING the entire time as she applied them, Nails turned out pretty but after about 2 weeks they started to crack and my real nails became flimsy,Wouldnt recommend for a fullset but would recommend for a pedicure.

This is what coffin nails should be. Ive been to other nail salons and been overall okay/satisfied with the look and upkeep. But here, I was impressed and appreciative of the process and detail to really do it right. To get it even. Its the little, smallest details but 😍 it made the difference and I actually LOVE my nails, not just... satisfied. The younger lady who helped me near the front, Ivy I think, you were on point today. Best full set Ive received, and it was last minute for me, a walk-in an hour before they closed. Clean place, nice front, friendly family like environment. This is my new place.

First time there and very impressed! Me and my moms enjoyed are services and the salon is very nice. The nail techs were very professional and did wonderful work. I had SNS and my nails are beautiful, the nail tech name was Top, he is a perfectionist and I appreciate that, made sure my shape was on point and the finish if the powder is so smooth and leveled. I made an appt. for my next visit. 😁

This is by far my favorite pedicure place. I get a pedicure once every 1-2 months and this is the only shop I’ll go to now. Staff are great, pedicures are awesome, and the neck massage after the super deluxe makes it more than worth it.

New girl there did my nails too thin they broke after the next day then when l asked her to fix she tried to charge me 5$ said it was my fault. l spend good money here l will not be giving them my money anymore

If I could rate this place 0 I would. I went here to reward myself after passing my first course of medical school. Money is tight, and I don’t get my nails done all the time - only for special occasions. I picked out a peachy pink nude, and somehow ended up with bubblegum pink nails...strike 1. Strike 2 was the pedicure - the lady was filing so hard that she cut the skin under my big toe. Strike 3 came the very next day after I got my nails done - I got a gel manicure and NOT EVEN 24 HOURS LATER the color on my index finger completely peeled off. I went back to get it re-done. I found the color I picked- looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the color on my nails - clearly I wasn’t crazy to think that the color they gave me was not what I picked. At least they were nice about re-doing my index finger. Since they couldn’t match the color I had, they gave me two ‘accent’ glitter nails. They also applied another top coat on all of my nails. Fast forward to today (4 days since the mani/pedi) - the color on my left middle finger is completely peeled off, and the color on my right index finger is chipping. WHAT THE ACTUAL ****!? I have never had such a horrible gel experience! I’m not hard on my nails either! I don’t know if it’s the job they do or the products they use, but I would not recommend this place to anyone for gel nails! Horrible.

My gf goes here to get her nails done, I usually go with her, and pick them out, shape, length and color. The staff is nice, professional, and do a great job. They offer deals with membership too, and they offer wine, water and or soda while ur getting ur nails done. Kinda upscale. They also offer gift cards. 100 dollar cards come with an extra 20 on the house, which is awesome.

My nail tech 5 years recently moved to Mandarin so I have been on the hunt for a new nail salon after being pointed disappointed in almost every one in the Avondale/riverside area I finally found my go to! Everything is very clean And sanitized. They use the disposable plastic coverings for the pedicures which is a must. I had seventh as my technician she was wonderful! She took her time and made sure that I got what I paid for I choose a deluxe pedicure Which includes hot stone massage she performed a pedicure for over a hour while sitting me back in the chair to relax I’ve never had such a good pedicure in my life I will definitely be coming back highly recommend her 🙌🏼

I gave this place a try as my usual nail tech was unavailable.The People were nice but overall it was terrible; I should have known better going on a Saturday. However, I waited a while to get my pedicure which went fine but then I waited more than an hour to get seated for nails as there were only 2 techs & like 5 others on pedicure, no balance. There was no courtesy to advise of how long of a wait while sitting there. The gentleman that did my nails took twice as long as he kept getting up with no pre warning to service the front desk. He forgot to buff my left hand set of nails due to the many distractions he kept tending to. I really hope another first timer does not have the same experience I did bc I will not be back. PS. A little over a week later & all of my nails have started to lift & the price was a little hefty as well😒

The atmosphere is very relaxing. Its a beautiful salon. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, all except the design done on my nails. If you dont have the skills, just say so. Theres no shame in politely declining to do a service, your not proficient in. I will definitely return, however, I will go to a different manicurist. I may revise my 4 stars in the future. I do recommend this salon. My nails themselves were done beautifully, and my pedicure was luxurious. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. They have several nail stations, and pedicure chairs, so a group could be accommodated comfortably.

VK is the only spot I go to get my feet loved on. Its a fun time, very relaxing, and I only get the pedicure, but I have never had a bad experience. Fellas keep your feet right all summer.

Well let me just say I love my nails, but here is the issue. I went online where is states a liquid gel overlay is $35. I called at 6:58PM and asked if it was too late to come get an overlay on my nails, due to them closing at 7:30PM. I was advised “No, you come and we seat you right away”. I arrived less than 5 minutes because I was already heading that way. Anywho I was told where to sit and a guy came and sat down, didn’t speak much. I explained my service and he begin to work. A little too rough for my taste, he split one of my natural nails with the tool; but it happens I guess. Anyway once he completed my overlay he asked what color I wanted, I picked out. BTW it was a solid black gel with some sparkle powder. I heard the guy up front ask what my services was and I heard him tell him “Gel overlay”.. the rest of conversation went in a different language. Long story short my total was a whopping $65! I have no artificial nails, or pedicure etc. I just don’t understand how a $35 overlay job jumped to $65. Even if you charge me $20 for color it should be $65. Needless to say I’m torn because my nails are beautiful, and I appreciate the time, just don’t understand the price and why. I feel maybe I was overcharged because I was there after closing? Unsure. But as much as I like the work I cannot go back due to the prices. I tipped the guy and said goodnight. Sighs... hard finding good nail places (That goes gel overlay) and now I have to keep searching. Maybe someone can explain the prices and I will feel a little better but I just think it’s very steep for what I got. Again outside the roughness and high tab, my nails are beautiful. I’m afraid how much I’ll have to spend got a fill in 😩

I got an eyebrow wax and they used one stick for me, dipping back into the main bowl of wax numerous times. Not only is this disgusting under nornal circumstances, were in the middle of a pandemic so every extra precaution should be made; no couth. I wont be returning.

What a fancy place! I enjoyed the personalized service. It was very elegant and relaxing... Well worth the investment of time and money. They take more time than normal salons which could be a plus or minus depending on your goal of a quickie or a truly spa-like experience. This is definitely a spa.I enjoyed having the option of hot tea. It added to the quality of my experience. The quality of the nail service itself was not the best though.

I came in with my boyfriend today and got a luxury pedicure, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING. I dont know his name, but the gentleman who did my pedicure had magic hands. My boyfriend even got a classic pedi to try it, and he even enjoyed himself, also. And the manicure I ended up getting was very well done and I am very pleased with how well they treat their customers. I am definitely going to come back when I visit Jacksonville again and I definitely recommend this place for my friends!!

Probably THEE WORST pedicure of my life, I had an older guy who was absolutely sweet but clearly had no business servicing anyone in the nail salon. There was another woman that had to come over and help him clean around my toe nails. If I come back it’s likely to see the woman who helped him....... Hence the two stars instead of one.

Had an ombré matte full set by Ben and he was absolutely AMAZING!!! He was so sweet and he made sure my nails were PERFECT! This is by far the best my nails have ever looked. Definitely requesting Ben next time I come in.

Received a $75 gift card from my brother after raving about how well Mary scrubbed your feet during a pedicure. Used $38 of the gift card and came back to use the $37 balance. At the register an older man informed me that there was a zero balance on the gift card. I know for a fact there was a $37 balance as it was written on the card after VK ran it during my last visit. The gift card is specifically for VK, purchased at their location and business. Unlike a visa, American Express, or MasterCard gift card, VKs gift cards can ONLY be used at their Five Points location. Therefore, I do not understand how $37 was used when I had possession of the card and only used it once with a remaining balance. The older gentleman was absolutely no help and simply gave me the owners number to call (which went unanswered). Its very dishonest and poor business practice to encourage returning customers to invest in your business then do nothing to safeguard them against potential fraud (as I have no idea how and when the $37 was used) or even try to resolve the issue. As a customer I came in their establishment, raved about their service (specifically one great employee) then was severely disappointed with their record keeping and lack of support to find out what happened to the money on their own gift card. Trust is the cornerstone of anything great. Unfortunately, VK lacks this trait and I cannot in good conscience recommend this business. There are too many nail salons that are cheaper and provide better service. $37 was stolen and I still dont know how that occurred when the the only time the card came out of my wallet was when it was handed to a VK employee to pay for services on two occasions. So sad that my brother thought to spend $75 at this business that cannot be trusted.

Had a horrible experience complained to the nail person for them not to do anything or fix the problem. Will not recommend for guys they suggest the higher amount then do very basic work. The callus removal is a joke. When youpay close to 50 for a pedicure you expect to walk out feeling different unfortunately that was not the case will go to different shop to fix the damage

I just went into this establishment early this morning and was greeted by a very unwelcoming man. I had looked at the Reviews before hand and saw that they weren’t too bad and one of their reviewers posted a picture of a nail style that I wanted. When I showed him this picture he said they couldn’t do it. So I left within 5 mins of being there. Go spend your money elsewhere :)

I just recently started coming here about a month ago. I love the customer service and cleanliness of this place. Its so peaceful and they take very good care of you. The complimentary wine is a plus. They take their time when servicing you and make sure that it is close to perfect. Jessica is awesome at pedicures and Whit is great with nails. This may be my forever place.

I liked my experience for the most part while I was there. They were friendly, accommodating, and a good price especially if you use cash. Then my nail polish chipped that night. I went back, a different gal put another coat on. However, that nail chipped yet again. Then within a few days I had 5 nails with chips. I normally never have this problem with gel. It was disappointing. Im 10 days in and I just need to remove everything already.

I went in for SNS for the first time. My cuticles were torn from the nail surface sculpting tool. I was bleeding when I walked out. The wrong color was allied to my nails, but I didnt realize it till it was too late. My technician was nice, but could have been gentler with my cuticles.
