The establishment was clean and everyone was nice and professional. The techs did and awesome job with my mani/pedi. They offered libations while services were being done. They would have given them 5 stars if there was a mask policy. Some patrons without masks were coughing and sneezing which made a few of us customers uncomfortable.

Limited spaces for the multitude of business that are in this little strip. The spaces are also very narrow. If you drive something high-end or care about your doors being dinged, this parking lot is NOT the vibe!

I was visiting family for spring break and wanted a manicure/ pedicure. Walked in saw how busy they were figured they had to be good. It was great service (I got a pedicure with the hot towels and Paraffin wax and gel polish and manicure with the same services) will be back next time I’m in Jacksonville. It was worth the wait.

Was visiting from out of town and really liked my experience here. Not really sure why they’re only rated 3.6 out of 5 stars. But omgggg... Never have I ever had my manicure WHILE receiving a pedicure!! I loved the efficient service they provided. And before you say it, No, my manicure was NOT slacking in any way! I got an overlay with gel on my hands and a hot wax massage pedicure and gel on my toenails. Very pleased with the services I received. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back whenever I’m back in FL visiting family! 🤩🤩🤩

She did good the nails were pretty its just I wanted black and blue ombre but they didnt have any they only had white, tan,and pink.ehen she filed the acrylic nails she got me to where it bled a bit after wards like in the picture

They over charge for doing your nails. They put the gel polish on and when you go back they charge $5 to take it off. Absolutely a rip off and people were actually leaving $10 tip.. If you have some where else to go please do!!!

I enjoy going here. It is convenient and I can make appointments. I don’t just walk in. I ask for Tammy for my pedicures and Kim for my manicure and eyebrow wax. I get gel polish on my toes and the #4 pedicure. I get the light pink dip powder manicure. I only go once a month because of the price. I don’t have anything really to compare it too.The two techs are great that I work with. My daughter goes for acrylics. She has her favorites but doesn’t want to wait. She doesn’t complain either because she is a regular.I will continue to go there until I notice a change in quality.

There is normally a 15 minute wait here because they are always full on the weekends so try to get here early or make an appointment. They offer beverages (water, soda, wine) and the service is excellent. The employees are very friendly and professional. I love getting my nails done here and will be a member as long as I live in the area.

The nail techs are all very nice and the salon is beautiful. Ive been going there for years because its close to my house. I have NEVER been disappointed. I fell asleep in the chair as I got a calve/foot massage and hand massage. #Relaxing

It was my first time coming here and I was hesitant because of the reviews but decided to try for myself and I’m so happy I did. Katie did EXACTLY what I wanted and really took care of me while I was there. I wanted tapered square shaped acrylic nails and she made sure I liked them!! It’s a good price for the work she did and I will definitely be coming back again.

When I first walked in at 9:30, no appointment, I was the only customer. I requested a manicure/pedicure. They (Linda, I think) started my pedi and a man brought over items to start a mani at the same time. No problem since I did not have an appointment and thought they may be hurrying me so appointments could be handled. People started showing up after about 15-20 minutes. Only one had an appointment. Other workers started to appear too. That’s when they really started to rush me through. Then the man left my manicure and a woman came in to paint my fingernails saying, “if you don’t mind I paint your nails”. Well, I guess that was ok. The manicure polish was so sloppy! When the pedi was also done, Linda sent me over to the drying station. Well, I smudged the polish on one of my fingers trying to get me purse. Nobody offered to help or to fix it. As I was waiting for the polish to dry Linda asked me to pay. Really!?!?!? I went ahead and got my card out and paid. I got no receipt. Couldn’t wait to get out. The toes were good but needless to say the fingernails were awful. Never going back there! Went to Sally’s and got some polish to do myself next time.

Service was good. Got the #3 pedicure. Prices are reasonable. Would go back.

Got sat right away but they rushed through my pedicure and manicure. My heels are not very smooth and they didnt cut my cuticles and my hands look super dry.

The lady who did my feet did a great job and she took her time . But the lady who did my nails did a horrible job . I got the sns dip (simple enough right ). She fold my thumb nails almost into nubs and they look horrible . It looks like when people constantly bite their nails . She drilled my cuticles and now they look worn out and dry. I went under a friends recommendation but I will absolutely NOT be back . They really shouldn’t have their techs do Sns if they don’t know how to do them, I could have honestly done a better job myself 😒

Very nice but prices are ridiculous for the poor quality & outcome. Couldn’t even do a marble design. Tried to charge me $82 for just a fill in & color change. Terrible & I’ll never return.

My parents brought me here, as my old haunt closed down. This place was so lovely, and attentive.

I just moved down here and I went last week to get my nails done a full set, I asked for them to be long and coffin shaped, I got neither! the lady was nice but didnt know what she was doing even after i brought the problem to her attention she thought she could fix it without removing the nail and doing it over and tried to convince me otherwise. I got short and i dont even know what the shape was but it wasnt coffin, the nails were also too big for my nails and she didnt do a good job at filing them thinner I am 22 years old I like a young look to my nails and she claimed because i had small nail beds it would break but i have no issue any other time when i get thin and long nails. today is the 15th and Ive had my nails on since Friday and all of them already fell off. I will never come back to this establishment, and she obviously needs to be trained again for nails

I did not like this experience because I was getting a manicure and the lady that had me was not careful. She was using the razor to file my nail and she touch my skin with it and it really hurt and she did not even say sorry she just said oops. Then I told her I want my nail the same length because they were long and then I said to make them ROUND then I left with very very short nails and square nails!!! Trust me I don’t like this. I do not recommend😡😡😡

Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. Nails were done sloppily, with poor shaping. He also used his discolored fingernail to push back the side of my cuticles. He never put any of the oily stuff they swipe in your nails before you wash them to make them soft. He barely shaped or filed. Then when he said it was time to dry, I was left awkwardly trying to grab my wallet and phone with my freshly painted nails. After sitting down to dry no one told me how long, or when to get up. After drying the clear coat was dried in multiple places on my nails. He was working on another customer already so I just walked out. Maybe you could wash your hands between clients??? Will never come here again!

They charge too much for every little thing. I went a week ago and my polish is chipped. My acrylic on my nails are separating. So now there is stuff all in between my nailAnd the fake nail.Not satisfied. Will never go back. I have went in the past and asked for gel polish on my toes and was flat out told no. The only reason I went is because if a gift certificate and I still ended up paying $38 leaving. They are good saleswomen but suck at their craft. I won’t be back.

I would recommend that the staff be more respectful and understanding when your running late for an appointment. Don’t chastise me for being 15 minutes late while I’m bringing my mother in a wheelchair into your business. I was then told to drop her off and come back and I should have called and told them I was running late. I had an appointment too. Not anymore! Meanwhile, they were taking walk in customers the entire time I waited for my Mom. I will not be bringing her back.

Staff is great. The prices were a little to high for the quality. But over all it was a great experience.

Went in for a pedicure and when I went to check out, they claimed they raised their prices although the price sheet did not reflect that. The owner was extremely rude and condescending, will not recommend this salon nor will I be returning due to terrible customer service and professionalism.

Service was fine but it missed small touches like lotion and hand massage at the end. That was fine, we could ignore that but the fact that we had to pay $20 extra for gel color is ridiculous. Never have we experienced that and from that alone, we will never return. A full set and a pedicure ended up cost us $84 for one person! We just moved here from California and even at a high end spa we never paid that much for just two things!

The service here is good if they arent busy. Dont go if it looks super crowded. I walked in and asked how long the wait was for a pedicure. I never recieved the answer, but instead was rush to a chair and water was started. I sat for a good 10 minutes with my feet in lukewarm standing water before I finally asked someone to put the jets on. As I waited 3 more people were seated. One ladys water almost ran over the tub. 2 or 3 people were doing pedicures out of the maybe 10 employees working. The service is normally great but at least check to make sure the jets are running and the water is still warm if people have to wait 30+ min to be seen.

I really liked my nail tech, but there were chair issues (I wasnt moved to another even though it was early afternoon and only 1 other person getting a pedicure) and the guy doing my hands was pretty grumpy. Willing to go one more time and reassess

Jack is my nail tech and he is AMAZING. I went after being treated TERRIBLY at another salon about a block away. Jack did my toes and they were great. Someone else did my nails and they were awful..I went back and the owner fixed them but they didnt last either. My next visit I requested Jack for both my nails and feet and 3 weeks later they are still BEAUTIFUL💖💖💖!!!

I was hesitant of coming here as the rating wasn’t high. Jack did my nails and did an excellent job. He was super friendly and we joked a lot. He wasn’t patient with me picking my color and showed me several colors. Will definitely come back and would recommend.

When I first started going here, they were very friendly. They were fast and had quality service. They used to be priced reasonably (2016). Now fast forward to 2018, my last few experiences were HORRIBLE! First off, I stopped going about a year ago because I got gel polish (as I always do) and it started peeling off the next day. I went back 1 more time after that because the gel polish was still peeling off! I was told that the guy didnt use a base coat, thats why it kept peeling off. Not to mention, they went up on their prices. Its now an extra $30 just for gel polish. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind paying, if the service is good. Their service is not worth the time or money. After my horrible gel polish experience, I decided not to give them anymore of my money. Unfortunately, I went a few days ago for a fill in because I was in a hurry and they are close by my house. Two days later my acrylic was lifting off. I went in to get my nails fixed, when I walked in they asked what I needed. I explained that I had been there 2 days prior and my nails were already lifting. The woman instantly got an attitude and started speaking in Vietnamese, then rolled her eyes. I was like, WOW!! Really?!? So, the same guy that did them insisted on “fixing them. Hes a nice guy, very friendly but he still didnt do a good job. I will NEVER give them another penny. I only went there because I was pressed for time. NEVER AGAIN!

Great place to get your nails done and they do a great eyebrow wax and shaping. They like to speak to one another in their native language and really dont engage in conversation with the customers they are working on. It can be a little bit awkward. Fine by me. You can just relax without all the extra small talk. I will return for repeat services.

My sister in law and I went to get our nails done for a wedding and they were able to get us in quickly. However each tech was working on at least one other person so our services (gel nails and a French manicure) took about an hour. Neither of us were consulted about the shape of our nails, and the service overall was average. The thing that bumped our experience from a 3 star to a 2 star was the lack of clean tools. Great for a last minute manicure on a Sunday morning, but probably will not go back again.

I would give them less than 1 star if I could. Worst pedicure I and my daughter gave ever gotten. I’ve never not tipped before. We were given very little leg/foot massage and the polish was applied and is lumpy. When I told the owner all I was told is “sorry”. If there had been any offer of compensation I may have tried this place again but no customer service was offered.

Took my daughter for a mommy and me date. Got one mani pedi and a full set and pedi. Customer service was fantastic and they did a great job. Price was a bit extreme however. Not sure why those services cost just under $200 for basic pedis, mani and full set

They did a great job with my pedicure but my nails looked horrible, they look like a 5 year old did them and they had the nerve to charge me $28 for this mess. I had to remind them of the eyebrow waxing I had already paid for, once done those looked horrible too. Thank goodness for eyebrow pencils... Ill be continuing my search for a nail salon until I find the best one.

My french manicure gel polish looks as good as any other gel manicure Ive gotten but was totally shocked when I was told my manicure was $45 before tip. Totally my fault for not asking but anywhere Ive ever went it has been around the same price, about $30. Forty-five is what people pay for a full set of acrylic nails. Wont go back.

The staff is polite. I was charged for the price of a gel manicure when I only asked for a gel polish change. I wouldnt complain if the price matched the quality. The gel color is not even nor does it fully cover the nail surface. I left to also notice my thumb was not cured on the outter corner. I uphold higher expectations since this is Oakleaf. I wont be returning here.

I am a VERY PICKY person when it comes to customer service and people doing my feet.I have lived out here in oakleaf for 4 years and I have visited a few places since being here Jacksonville/Orange Park .Secret Nails has won me over.I Love this placed and I recommend this place the ladies take their time with the job. While waiting a complimentary drink from water,soda and to a nice glass of wine. While enjoying a massage chair. Their prices are reasonable.Hope they have a place like this in Norfolk.

Good. I felt the girl next to me got extra good treatment. Very obvious. Maybe because Im the new girl, but I would think they would want me to come back so they should be as good to me. And this place was quites expensive. $76 for, tips, liquid gel, and gel polish?!?! Idk if Ill go back.

Went just for a polish change and toenail trim.Took about 10 times to explain I just wanted toenails trimmed and repolish...not anything for my hands.one more time when we got back to the chair😔. .....Unfortunately trimmed and filed uneven with quite a bit of polish left around nails on skin. Sorry wont be returning. Just the fact they cant understand simple words that pertain to their business is definitely a deal breaker.....👎👎

The only positive was about the pedicure. It was great. Thats where it all ends. I asked for gel nails and they did them at the same time as my pedicure so I didnt even get to enjoy either service. I asked her to do them on the thinner side and it was like she disregarded it completely. I cant write anymore because I am still angry! And it cost me $83 for the full in and pedicure!?!?!? I have Never paid that much I feel like I was duped because I thought it was going to be $59, big difference! So mad

I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years, I found one nail tech who’s type of work was better than any other around, finding good quality nail techs is very difficult this days. I also found an excellent pedicure tech here I usually will only make appointments with them all the time I started noticing the work on my nails started getting messy and poorly done so I tried to state my issues but they will get dismissed such as complaining about two nails being uneven and side ways (joking the tech will say it’s my finger) let me make clear our relationship and comfort level was absolutely in a friend level and I honestly think that was the only reason I kept coming even tho I wasn’t pleased I have now found another tech near my job and she honestly has showed me What quality is even tho I usually don’t have the time for the 2 hour treatment but she truly does an amazing job they are located in Normandy blvd sheer expressions salón anyways back to my review if you want the job done and don’t care about the price then this place will fit the bill my review is based on disappointment and let downs see I didn’t mind paying as long my nails would look ok but when they started double booking appointments and rushing to get to the next cow to milk, that’s when you will no longer have my bills if I’m going to be just Another one then I can be another one somewhere else. Unprofessional service that won’t be getting my $$Today was the 3rd time I made an appointment and they took another client to tell me they waited for me I was 7 minutes late (after rushing to leave work on time and rush to get my kids from school while my husband compromised with me on staying home and skipping the gym so I could get my nails done) by the way I texted my nail tech to let her know I was running behind ... the owners sister came to say it will be 10 more minutes after already waiting 20 minutes past my time, waited the 10 minutes but realized it would be at least another hour so I ended up walking out and told them not to rush with the paying client (I thought it was not only disrespectful to me and my time but to the client they had on their chair) too bad today they lost my loyalty.If you need a good pedicure and wax make sure you ask for Tam she is the best and will take her time to make sure her work is quality. i just can’t guarantee your time will be valuable to them.

Paid $85 for misshapen and down right ugly nails because I was rushed and replaced with another customer so quickly. Went back the day after and was refused a refund or anything regarding compensation. Completely unprofessional and will not be going back. Not the first time this place was bad.

I received the worst manicure experience at Secret Nails. I had an appointment a hour before it closed. It was packed and when I got there I waited half an hour before I was seen. The woman who handled my manicure was rough and made my hands bleed. I even expressed pain and she did not slow or even apologize. The place was not clean and there were remnants of past manicures (i.e. Other peoples nails) on the table. She burned my hands with wax. She rushed through my manicure and was more concerned with leaving on time then with doing a good job. They asked for the money before I was finished and were shutting off the lights while I was still there. This is the worst nail establishment I have ever been to and I will never go back.

Worst customer services ever.... because I arrived 6 mins late to my appointment, the manager start screaming and yelling in front of all the clients. I think that is not the correct attitude to treat a customer. The only reason that I keep visiting the salon, is because Tammy is the best pedicure technician, she take the time to ensure that you are satisfied with the pedicure. I think that the owner of this place need to train his staff of how to offer a best customer services experience.

I have been to this salon twice, both of which times I got a full set that was terrible. I got my nails done 4 days ago and they are already starting to pop off. My nails were done very poorly by the woman that did them. She cut two of my fingers making them bleed heavily, her shaping of my nails is very uneven, and she also did not fully paint my nails. The prices are also the highest I have ever heard of. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Went in to have my gel polish removed and repolished. Nails looked like a five year old polished them. I showed him how thePolish was all above and in my cuticle, his reply was come back and get maincure next time so it wont be on your cuticle. Then charged me thirty dollars.

Me and my two sisters went in, two of us requested pedicures and one wanted acrylics. Not only did she leave flaky skin on my toe without even attempting to buff it off, she spent 20 minutes on what was supposed to be a 35 minute pedicure. My sister that requested acrylics got completely ignored and went 40 minutes without service and left without it.

Im at the salon now and very unsatisfactory. No greeting when arrived at the shop. When ask what services it was stated twice to the nail tech that I only wanted a polish change. The lash tech started to shape my toe nails and was shaping my toenails in a oval rather square like I requested. Lash tech got very upset and threw the nail file to me stating for me to snape my own nails and she will polish them. Then not even 1 minute goes by she tells me someone elses will perform the services she got a 1pm appointment . Never again will I visit this nail salon . The owner just as unprofessional watching it happen

Very unhappy with nail service, since the owner is no longer at that location service has gone down hill. I received a pedi and full set, the massage for the pedi was painful I had to tell the woman not so hard. My full set was felt very rushed, I was getting the stiletto nails and showed the tech a picture of the style. She cut too much of the nail of and tried to convince me that it would be the same length, (I actually went to school for nails a few years ago) so she was not fooling me. I informed her that it would not be, so she reluctantly took them off and did them again. After she filed them unevenly/crooked I had to ask her to go back in several times to correct it, and she seemed annoyed, then finally said there is an extra charge for stiletto nails, which is ridiculous and not in their price list stiletto nails is a shape not a design, I informed her so if I wanted them square or round is that extra also. I paid but will not go back for the full set again and the job was very mediocre.
