I went to Aha nails to get a full set with dip powder as the base and gel for a design. I was cut multiple times to the point I bled on a few of my cuticles. The man doing my nails spoke 10 words to me at most during my service. My nails were rushed and the lines are not straight. I had glue all over my nails, fingers and under my nails. At the end of my service, the mail technician flooded my nails and hands with cuticle oil but didn’t rub it in and told me to wash them. I live in Greenville and when I got home 2 hours later I noticed that one of my nails is split in half. My friend had her acrylics applied but waited over 40 minutes to have her base coat and design applied. Her cuticles were also left a mess and no cuticle oil was applied. There were only 3 employees and 9 people with 3 children needing service. We each paid $50. I wouldn’t recommend.

I used to go to this salon years ago (I believe they’ve switched owners possibly) but I haven’t been since I was about 14 and I’m 22 now. I am absolutely in love the place is beautiful and pristine. I got a scrubbing pedicure and acrylic nails done and received excellent service. Thank you so much I will be coming back! Thank you so very much.

I brought my daughter in today for a fill, and her nails look amazing! They did a very good job. The workers were very nice, and they did what I asked for.

I originally went to this location the first time everything was great lady did a wonderful job on not only my nails but my toenails the second time the man that did my nails did an absolutely horrible job I sat there for an hour and a half and they were horrible just so thick on some nails thin on others he missed places with the powder and then he didn’t remove all the color from the previous visit....but I contacted the owner and she was great told me to come back and she would correct the situation she literally spent another 2 1/2 hours removing the nails and then reapply fresh nails this is called great customer service this is a look called Ombré... I’m very grateful and pleased!!! I will return to this location she won me over!!!!My third time here and I swear the owner was treating me as if I was bothering her she was arguing with me about the colors I chose which I didn’t get by the way!!! and just rude!!!!! In the end I like them she did a decent job

Terrible service! I went into this nail salon to get a Manicure and pedicure. After they finish my pedicure I sat and waited for almost an hour only to find out that they had no intentions to do my manicure because they forgot. It was a total waste of more than an hour. The lady told me she thought that I did not need my nails done because I sat at the counter to dry my toes.Also it was not the greatest pedicure I’ve had in the past.

The best nail salon in Jacksonville. Thao (the owner) always has new colors and products. All of the techs are really good, as well as the customer service. They offer drinks and have good music on all the time🙂

The service was poor I sat for almost an hour waiting to get my nails done.. and when they finally started to do my nails I had asked for a specific design, I wanted Marble nails.The man doing my nails made it as if he knew what to do but in reality he didn’t know what he was doing.when I asked him to take it off and redo it he denied my request to do so, so I kept asking... he messed up my nails the acrylic and the nails were sloppy most of if not all of my nails were crooked and they were too thick when I vocalized that I didn’t like them they acted as if they didn’t want to remove them. So I asked to have them soaked off and the lady acted as if she didn’t hear me and then finally proceeds to remove them...I definitely am not satisfied with their service I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that’s just not how you treat a costumer! I’ve never been so outdone by a place like this before

I called ahead and they said that they were open and so I made a reservation. When me and my SIL got there we sat for at least 30 minutes before being seen. I got a regular manicure so I didn’t really expect too much but the girl didn’t remove my cuticles or nothing. If I had know what the service would have been I wouldn’t have even paid. That wasn’t the thing that really upset me though, my SIL had a design picked from their IG and that’s what she wanted and she got a stylist that was completely clueless. Honestly if they’re going to advertise nail designs then they should know how to do them or have someone who knows how to do them. We were just super upset about the whole visit

I went here yesterday and everything was going well, the lady who did my pedicure was nice. For my nails I got the guy, which was not nice and did a horrible job.he had am attitude the entire time I asked for very simple flowers at the beginning so when he finished I was like can I get the flowers still, Im not a confrontational person. I feel this made him upset so he did a horrible job. I was upset but was whatever Ill paint over the simple flowers at home. I go pay and I let the nice lady know how that flowers are very messed up and she agreed and if I waited she would fix his mistake. I liked her not him. I will add pix of what I wanted. I do not have pics of his messy job. Thats what I wanted, he couldnt even do that. If I go back Ill go back to the ladies not the guy. That guy shouldnt work there after reading more bad reviews on him

Amazing. The owner has been trying to get me to come for years. He comes to my shop for service on his car. I finally went. I have been twice on my first visit I told them they have a loyal customer.

Doing another review because the last 4-5 times I’ve been back my nails have looked amazing!! Definitely a 100% improvement since my first two visits which weren’t the best at all. Kat is so nice and friendly and so patient. She’s the only one I let touch my nails asides from the usual greeter/ front counter lady. If they both aren’t there I will not let anyone else there touch my nails. So patient and don’t rush which I love! My nails get better and better each time I go and I highly recommend these nice ladies !

I came here at the recommendation of many of my friends and ended up very disappointed. The lines are messy, crooked, and uneven. The paint is muddled together and very messy, when I was asked at the end if I liked them I responded “not really” and nothing was offered to me for fixing them. Unfortunately I’m going to have to spend more to get them fixed somewhere else because I won’t be returning

My mom and I both came to get our nails done on my birthday and the man that works here is very unprofessional and extremely rude. He made my moms fingers bleed and kept being so rude when she would ask him a question about the nail services. Kat did my nails, and as she is very sweet, she made mine bleed too and my pinky was literally sore for the next couple of days. My nails only lasted me 1 week and started coming off, poor value and experience was not good. Not worth the money in my opinion.

OMG this place has the best service and hospitality! In town visiting family and was looking for a salon for a quick pedicure and wasn’t closing early as I just had a long day at work and I found it. They wouldn’t even let me leave until the polish was dried, even though they were closed. Highly recommend trying them out, you won’t be disappointed.

They do not know how to do Dip powder. They used gel top coat on top of dip powder. Next day it is pealing off. Waste of $40. Very disappointed.

Came here on March 22, 2021. The guy that sits on the end closest to all the nail polish did my nails. The moment I left my gel polish started peeling up and he did not use a base coat. He did not line up my nails with one another to make sure they were all the same length and they are all different lengths. No one in this place seemed to care when I came back. I personally don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had SNS dipping powder service. The nail tech who did my nails was fast, efficient and did an excellent job. I would recommend!

Literally horrible! Paid $40 each for the jelly pedicure for me and my cousin plus $15 each extra and they rushed through it. Left with dead skin still on the bottom of my feet, and didn’t even put lotion on. Waste of time and money! Would not recommend. My friend also went and paid $40 for the jelly pedicure dand they took 20 mins on hers and no lotion and didn’t scrub hers either. They finished all 3 of us in the time they did another lady that was there. HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I went in for a simple manicure, with my friend. We both came out with bleeding cuticles, and she clipped my ring finger nail down the side and ripped it off from the quick to the cuticle. At least 5 of my cuticles have wounds from where she clipped them. Plus, I have never had a manicure where they didnt soak your fingers in a warm water to soften the cuticle up first, til yesterday. I am so unsatisfied with my experience there, I will not go back. I have went to this shop, under different management, for years. But, sadly yesterday was my last day. My fingers are so sore I can barely type this.

Three different trips to this place and all were bad. The first, I waited an hour plus, with an appointment, and still no service. Second visit, I got in, but the male technician in there was rude as hell while providing the service. Today, I went again, with an appointment. Waited two hours and my feet didn’t even make it to any water. No apologies; no mentions of how much longer it would be; no effort to retain the customer. Stay away from here. It’s worth the drive to Oasis over on Western!

Sometimes my travel lifestyle using “the local luck of the draw” for my nail needs leaves me remorseful...not this time!!! AHA NAILS has gained a new returning customer. I’m super pleased with my French tips! Quality + price + atmosphere, I am hooked. Thanks bunches!

Today was my first time at Aha and they were very very good and impressed me! I love them so much and I will Definitely be back, I will never go anywhere else!

This is the best place I’ve been in Jacksonville! They are very clean! Which I appreciate as a healthcare worker. Very reasonably priced! $25 gel manicure! I highly recommend getting the sugar scrub pedicure! $30. You get a massage with it! They do an awesome job and never disappoint! I recommend them to everyone. They also have SNS starting at only $35. I do recommend getting an appointment though just to make sure you’ll be able to get in because they can get pretty busy.

They are always polite and professional and always do a great job!

My wife had gone to get her nails done here and it only last about a week before her nails starting falling off, when the nails feel off it seemed there was green mold on her nails from the acrylics. I do not think this is a good place to get your nails done!! Listen to the 1 star posts

I went in with a picture that was wild and they blew me away with how close the outcome was.The little ladies in there were sweet and took good care of my hands and feet. Everyone was very nice. I really do like the way my nails look the tech was talented however they are not what I asked for at all. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and asked if he knew how to do it. He said yes however he obviously didn’t. My nails look absolutely nothing like the picture. I would definitely go back and give them another chance but wouldn’t go back to the same person. In the picture the nails were full silver glitter. You couldn’t see the nail through it, I asked if he could just change it to blue glitter. He put 1 coat of multicolored glitter polish on my nails then 1 coat of black glitter on top of that. You can see the nail under the glitter everywhere. Any other day I’d love the nails I walked away with if thats what I asked for. I’m disappointed because these were suppose to be my birthday nails. I wanted something very specific and got nothing even similar.

I will definitely be coming back here. I’ve been trying different nail salons for a little while. I went to Aha today and I was very very happy with my nails l. I believe the man who did my nails, his name was Sean. If you like longer coffin nails, he knows what he’s doing. They were great and shaped better than anywhere else that has done them. And the salon itself is never freezing like other nail salons are lol, and all of the staff is nice and they have complimentary drinks. I get my feet done here also and I like how they have a bunch of different levels for the pedicures.

Update: I went bacK because My usual place was packed and had the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I asked the man doing my nails for a coffin nail with rose quartz design he said sure he can do it then proceeded to cut my nails down to the finger and squared tip. I brought it to his attention he says sorry to late now. Then he couldnt do the design I requested and tried to hand me off to another lady who already had a client in her chair and wanted me to wait another 30 minutes for her to do my design. I said forget it lets put a matte coat on I need to go. He then sloppily paints my nails with a attitude paint all over the cuticles and not covering the whole nail. I asked him to hurry up so I could see about getting them corrected elsewhere. THIS RUDE LITTLE MAN SNATCHED THE NAIL DRYER OFF MY NAILS AND SAID YOU CAN GO NOW. I sure did walk out and leave. The audacity to be upset because he provided terrible service. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWEAR.

This is my absolute favorite nail salon in town. They have so many beautiful colors to choose from and the technicians are so talented. Thao is my favorite but they are all great! They even offered me a complimentary drink while i waited. You can tell that the owners take pride in their salon because it was so clean and their customer service is outstanding. I always get so many compliments on my nails and I look forward to coming back!

Yesterday went for a pedicure with my MIL and the lady doing my nails had remove some sort of skin or nail right by my toenail which hurt like hell. Come home same day my big toe looks very ingrown and infected( was NOT like that at all before) like went because of the good reviews and that people reccomended it. Listen to those 1 star reviews!! Also the moment I walked into the place I could smell the stench of cigarette smoke. My mil went to the restroom and came out saying she definitely could tell they smoke in the back room. So the smell wasnt pleasent.

I payed entirely to much for my nails. yes they are nice but they are not worth the amount i payed. i never payed this much for my nails before, yes my nails are long but i just got a regular full set . btw i payed 55 dollars ! i’ve payed 55 dollars at another nail salon and i got bling, my initial and holographic nails all for 55 dollars. and i told the man that was doing my nails that my nail was crooked and its still crooked ! i will never spend this much money one a regular full set ! do not recommend

They are slow, seemed like they were rushing through my nails. The lady was FaceTiming half the time. Didn’t even put the clear coat over my nails. Had me waiting so another lady came over and put the clear coat on for me. I have seen them go through so many nail techs in the past 4 years. And they aren’t getting any better. I will not be going back.

It kills me to write this because both women who did my feet and hands yesterday were so nice, but I feel like Id be doing a disservice to the people who come to this nail shop. I arrived yesterday and was told the wait was 30 minutes for a pedicure and dip nails. I said thats fine, picked out my color and took a seat. Right at the 30 minute mark my pedicure started. Was it the worst pedicure Ive ever had? No. But it didnt match the price of $25. Not even close. After my pedicure I sat down for my nails. It started off fine but as soon as the technician started putting on the color I knew it was going to be wrong. There is a translucent powder that is supposed to be the first layer... and they didnt do that. As she did 3 layers of color (which is normal) it just got worse. As she was buffing with a block and file she cut me 4 times. I even told the technician she got me and she kept going!!! I asked if she was going to smooth everything out with the drill bit (like everyone other manicurist Ive been to for dip nails) and she said no. At the very beginning of my experience she said she hated dip nails but its grown on her. RED FLAG. I should have left them. When she started the top coat she used a brand other then SNS and stuck my hands in the UV light, which is unnecessary for dip nails if she had been using the correct products. By the time I left I wasted $60 + a $5 tip that I felt obligated (by my own standards) to pay and 3 hours of my time.3 H O U R S. I got in the car and started to better examine my nails and they looked like chewed pieces of bubblegum stuck onto my natural nails. They were lumpy and uneven in length and shape. All the sides were unfinished and you could see where the top coat wasnt applied. Within 30 minutes of leaving my cut fingers were swollen and tender. I will never be coming back.I went to aloha this morning (my normal place which is 10 out of 10) and had this all corrected. Give a quality business your hard earned money. Not somewhere like this that lets the client down. One start because zero isnt an option.If anyone knows how I can get my money back Id greatly appreciate it.

Absolutely love this place! It’s the ONLY place in Jacksonville that I will let do my nails now! The owner and his wife are very nice. The lady with the glasses (I believe she is the owners wife) always does my nails exactly how I want them done! I get them done VERY specific to my liking and she never fails me. She has gone above and beyond as well! I went in two fix three nails and she touched up the others for me. I highly recommend this place. Sometimes there is a long wait but I don’t mind as long as I know I’m getting what I want.

My first time coming here and this will be my ride or die for everything, I got my nails, pedicure, facial, and eyebrows waxed and I’ve never been so happy !! Sat there an hour with acetone on ...no one checking on me just sat there until I said this is way to long to have them soak. Finally a 12 yr old helped out.. then I had to wait another 45 mins to get worked on before walking out. Would not recommend. Nor will I be returning. The young women burned three of my fingers due to inexperience... This is by far the worse place I have been in this area.

Tao does FABULOUS work! She and her team are dedicated and they want you to love your nails! Ive never been disappointed! My gel nails tend to last 4 weeks ( and by then its time to redo them because theyve grown out! )All of the ladies are so friendly and the salon is beautiful and so relaxing. Hitomi also does a BEAUTIFUL job with makeup!

I’ve gone here couple times, designs very well done but expect them last as long as some glue on nails you buy at store for couple dollars . This wasn’t the first time I’ve gotten a full set here and it lasted couple days . $60 for a 2 day set . I went back and wasn’t not trying make a big deal out of it till I Sat for over a hour finally said something again and she just offer me to reschedule an appointment for the next day after I was already sitting for an hour to fix ONE nail cause of their poor quality products. Sad they have potential but the customer service complete trashDid go back the next day to fix the nail then a hour later the ring finger started lifting . Day 6 of the full set and that’s two nails lifted . One very thick nail where I got the designs

I am from out of town but decided to take a chance on this nail salon and am so glad I did! Shawn did a pink and white fill-in for me. He took his time and was a perfectionist!! ❤ I would definitely recommend Shawn to others!!

This place is awesome. I came with my wife one other time but this time they have new owners and the place even smelled better. The man that owns it came out and greeted us with drinks and offered  us cookies. The store had beachy theme to it. I was talked into a jelly pedicure with a product upgrade. It was $45 but the best pedicure I ever had. The nice lady that helped me out is name Tao. I highly recommend her. They actually spoke English which was a plus for me. I also did a manicure for $25. She rubbed my hands with some sort of scrub and had my hands in this hot wax. I lift weight and fish so I have pretty rough callused hands and now it’s soft as a baby’s butt. They gave us a discount because we came on a slow day and we got the works done.

The lady that did my nails was very nice and detailed oriented. She even suggested nail colors that are trending now. This was my first time getting my nails done and I am happy to say that I will be coming back. I had a good experience and good advise from the nail technician.

They are accepting appts only no walk ins.. masks required,. You must wash hands. Everyone is masked. I only received a pedicure due to the fact that the other 3 customers that were there covered only their mouth and not their nose 🤷🏾‍♀️

I went and got a pedi this past Sunday and the person doing my toes gave me a toe infection .i have got my toes done many times but this was the first time going there and now both of my big toes have infections....

Got my nails done they looked great. Got the SNS nail dip. 4 days later the dip was coming off my nails. I have been getting my nails done every three weeks for over five years and have never had this issue before. Very disappointed. Had to go to another salon and have my nails redone. Paid another $40.

AHA is the perfect name for these fools. Get it? A-HA! Thats exactly what these nail technicians are, comedians. The man and woman are both RUDE, and impatient. The guy messed up my nails shape after saying he understood what I wanted. Then got mad at me because he messed up. An hour after my nails were dry the gooey polish smeared everywhere. Its a Friday night, pay day and it was completely empty when I walked in. I shouldve known! Smfh!

Took my daughter in to get an overlay done as a treat. She is only 9. They did a great job on her tiny little fingers. Only reason I gave 4 stars is it did take a while.

Terrible experience. I had a scheduled appointment for 430 to get a full set done. I got there at around 415, signed in, and got told by another customer to pick my color. I didn’t want any color I just needed tips done. I waited until 5:00 and no worked decided to help me out. When asked when I would be seen no one responded.

I really love this nails salon friendly owner and the pedicures are so relaxing, my eyebrows are nice and natural looking . I highly recommend this place for nail services will be coming again 😊

I received the jelly pedicure yesterday, and I have to say it was the BEST pedicure I’ve had since moving here from Charlotte. This salon is a little hidden gem. The parking is great, there are restaurants in the same shopping center it is located in case you’re hungry too! The salon is very clean. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The prices are very clearly listed on the wall when you first walk in, and it’s in big font which is AMAZING!!! There are about 6 nail desks, and 5 pedi chairs, including an adorable children’s pedi chair! They offer complimentary cold refreshments as well. The lady who did my pedi (I believe her name is Thao), was the sweetest woman! She was quick, efficient, friendly, and we had some lovely conversations. She helped me pick the perfect hot Barbie pink color and gave me a glow in the dark top coat! OMG! The pedicure itself was so relaxing, I fell asleep for 30 minutes!!! The jelly is so fluffy like your feet are in cotton. Best part is that she applied this delicious smelling pineapple oil on my feet at the end, where most places don’t put any lotion on your feet so I usually walk out with dry toes lol. Not here tho! Gosh, I could go on for days. She also did my sisters gel polish and it came out so pretty. 10/10 recommended y’all!

Best place Ive ever been to.

The man that did my nails split my real.nail.in half. I went in and wanted to have my nails removed and redone. 1. He just tried to snatch them off then he just took clippers and didnt clip in from the sides went directly in the middle and it split my real nail. 2. I had to ask for my nails to be soaked so they would come off easier then I got fussed out to keep my nails in the acetone but I couldnt because it burned the nail he split in half. 3. He was getting irritated with me after my nails finally soaked and he was filing the acrylics off because it hurt where the nail was split. 4. Not only that I paid full price to get my nails done after he was rude and hurt me. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

The ladies and the owner is super nice I went there last week to get my toes done, but when I went to get a full acrylic set it was a man who did my nails and I did not care how he did my bails he was more focused on his card game then on my nails and weren’t done to my perfection and the paint of the gel some of the side of my nails were not fully covered and one thumb looks different then the other . So not satisfied with his service given !

Probably the worst nail place Ive ever been too. I took my chances here because of the reviews but the man that did my nails was not gentle with me at all and was in such a rush that there was polish everywhere. ALSO the nails didnt even last a full day without one breaking. Total disappointment.
