First of all this place is listed under black owned businesses-which it definitely is NOT. Upon entry, it was very busy & there was a wait. Seats were scarce. I wrote my name on the list & services I wanted in about 10-15 minutes most of the ppl were seated except for myself & 2 ladies (1 arrived before me the other after) there was a lady checking the names, she appeared to go to everyone, then asked my name. The lady that arrived after me was then told to go to a chair. Now by this time I was annoyed because I waited patiently, I motioned to the lady with the list & she states, she had an appointment. #LIES The lady that arrived after me was told by another staff member, as she wrote her name on the list, that she had one in front of her - ME! I had to have a conversation with myself and said, you know what this is, just leave...& so I did. Never to return.

The best full set I’ve gotten in years. They actually pushed my cuticles back and compared the nails so they were even lengths on both hands. The tech did some amazing nail art for me even though I made it way too complicated because I’m old and don’t know how all these new colored powders and fancy things work. I’m so happy with the shape and quality of the nails, I will definitely be coming back :)

Everyone was nice and the place has awesome prices, but I walked out with all of my cuticles bleeding and I was holding in tears the whole appointment. I was recommended here by multiple people so it was definitely upsetting when the quality of my full set came out looking nothing like any pictures Ive seen of other work done here. My fingers are throbbing from the cuts. I would recommend it because of its prices, but I am weary to return myself.

I visited this nail salon twice. First time the young lady was so nice - second time the lady was rushing and rude . I went to the same person. The first time I got a full set the second time I got a fill in... Im assuming bc I didnt spend as much as the first time she wasnt happy about doing my nails. NO WORRIES I I WONT BE BACK.

Big fan of glitz and glam (mostly).the staff is very accommodating to let my friends and i sit together, after we had to ask to be moved around a bit. the manicurists are kind and do good work.the issues i have with glitz and glam are:1. speed of the manicure (it was about 25 min. - felt a little rushed, no cuticle care and they do NOT massage your hands after the manicure is done - very disappointing).2. the price was a bit high for not receiving the above-mentioned services along with the polish.great experience though and would definitely recommend! will be going back for sure (:

This used to be a great nail salon. This was my first time coming back since covid started and it’s a completely different salon. The staff was rude when we walked in, it was DIRTY they used an already used nail file on my nails I actually saw her pick from a stack of obviously dirty nail files and to top it off the nails are so ugly. I got a very basic mani & pedi. Gel polish on my nails plain black and white on my toes regular polish. My toes have chipped already and it’s the next day, my big toe nails are different lengths and the gel on my nail is bubbled up at the tips. Not worth the time or money.

Wonderful, clean, hardly any wait time for a walk in. It is reasonably priced and I got a wonderful pedicure. I will be coming back

I was referred to come here for a pedicure and to see Priscilla for that service. She was wonderful. I literally had to put my phone down while she massaged my feet because it was so relaxing. I wish I still lived in jacksonville I would definitely be a regular. My full set came out great as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Walking in, Glitz & Glam is stylish,clean, and spacious. I was greeted when I came in. I got signed in and in less than 5 minuets I was ushered to a massage chair for my pedicure ( Monday morning around 12/1 o’clock ) and offered a beverage. I chose the cucumber pedicure and it was heavenly! The gentleman that did my pedicure ( I believe his name is Jess) was attentive, kind, and thorough! He massaged and pampered my feet and calves; He did an amazing job! I had to leave shortly after my pedicure,so I made an appointment for later. The whole process was easy. When I returned, they promptly seated me with a nail technician. I didn’t catch his name but he is a perfectionist and an artist. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he gave me exactly what I asked for! I also got my brows waxed which was also great. The atmosphere there is professional and calm and they play up to date music. Everything is tailored for the customers satisfaction. They raise the bar for nail salons and spas. It’s a bit pricey but right for what you get. They have many treatments to pamper you... I’ll be back to try more! Thank you Glitz&Glam!

Great place, but needs to change/ or update their hours. Walked in to get service at 630. The doors were still open. Was asked what I wanted done?. Then, was told let me see if anyone wants to stay. Next, heard laughter. So asked what time did they closed. Was told 5. However, their website still says 730. I said nevermind and walked out.

I feel like a miss priss when my nails are done right instead of overdone, thick and unnatural looking. I wanted a natural looking full set w/gel and got just that. I was a walk in on a Saturday afternoon. Asked for a pedi and was seater in minutes. No wait. I am picky about my results, and I stated that to the tech.Pros:- Best looking nail salon Ive been to in Jacksonville (looks like a place of beauty, not a money laundering establishment)- Very hygienic (one time use tools, pedi-bowl covers neat and clean supplies, clean floors and surfaces, etc)- Most (if not all) techs speak English well- Price is fair for the atmosphere- Most techs were professionally or nicely dressed (I dislike overly casual dress-code at such places as it makes it feel like youre intruding on someones day off, rather than getting a professional service.)- Pedi had a decent amount of massage of good pressure and the experience was relaxing.- Decent job on cuticle clean-up.Cons:- Polish result were sloppy, which I would say is the most important partI would come back, but would try a different tech.

My mother and i got our nails done here and we loved it. i got acrylic with gel polish and she just got the gel polish. both techs were really awesome. a male technician did mine and he did an awesome job but i didnt catch his name. i will be returning for sure. he kept asking at every step to make sure I liked what he was doing like the shape and color and length of the nail. would recommend.

I had a great first experience here. First of all I called all around jax to get a last minute appointment and they were the only ones willing to see me. They were so clean and thorough. Everyone must wash hands as soon as they arrive. All chairs and tables are cleaned in between each client. Beautiful setting and Nancy did a great job on my nails. I will definitely be back.

Went to this salon for the first time earlier this week with one of my friends. We both got acrylic nails with gel polish. My nail tech, Ryan, was phenomenal! He took his time, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, he made sure the shape of my nails on each hand matched the corresponding nail on the other hand. So all of my nails were even. Loved that! (When my nails are misshaped and mismatched it drives me crazy!!) He checked with me a couple times to make sure I still liked how he was doing my nails. He was very patient with me choosing my color as I am very impatient and it took me consulting my friend for the entire time leading up to him painting them.If this review was just based on him it would be 5 stars. No doubt about that. However, my friends nail tech was extremely cold. She said she did a good job over all but went super quick and didn’t say a word to her. Which in the grand scheme isn’t a really bad thing because her nails still looked really good.These are my nails that Ryan did, they still look great 6 days later!

Made an appointment to get SNS and was immediately seated and asked if I would like a drink. Jason was my nail tech and he did a wonderful job. Love the atmosphere of the salon. Prices are a little higher than other salons, but not ridiculous. I believe I will be returning!

Was in need of a mani pedi and i had been looking for a new nail salon for some time, let me tell you I FOUND IT. This nail salon is so pretty and clean, staff is so welcoming and sweet! Pedicure was amazing, they actually massage your feet and make sure they seriously get every crease and crevice perfected. My toes and hands look amazing. Love this place!

I travel with my job and googled this salon to give it a try. I’m only giving 2 stars because the Atmosphere was pleasant and the Nail Stylist was very sweet.The very night after my Mani-Pedi, my nail was sore to the touch. Over the next couple days, it got SO swollen and painful I had to go to urgent care. I had a red streak going up my finger and my finger was turning purple. (See photo)I had a severe cuticle infection that was getting progressively worse over time.I was put on antibiotics by the physician and told it was due to a bacteria. I could not return as I had already driven across the state.

My first time coming here and I will definitely be a regular customer. Linda did a beautiful job on my nails. I noticed an issue with my nails after I had left. I returned the next day and they fixed the issue with no problem or fuss. Now that is excellent customer service. Everyone was extremely nice. The only issue I had was I did not enjoy my pedicure at all. The polish was sloppy and she missed steps in my pedicure that I had to remind her of and I did not get the massage that typically goes along with pedis. The person who did it did not do a great job. Im still going to give this place 5 stars though because of service.

This use to be my favorite nail salon until recently. I went in to get a full set with gel polish, my nails looked nice when Peter finished but when I got home after taking a shower I noticed my nails had bubbles in them. The next day I went back and the owner informed me that the polish hadn’t dried properly and that they would fix it. Long story short they re did my polish and needless to say they bubble’d up again. I won’t be returning, I work too hard for my money to not get a decent polish done. Good luck!!

Having an appointment is a joke..you’ll get worked in with the walk-ins. My SNS was ok quality, it was too thin. My nails cracked after a few days. Quality varies greatly across the nail techs, sometimes you’ll get a skilled tech, sometimes not. This also isn’t the place to go for speciality nails...for those go to techs/salons who are appointment only.

Very impressed with my nails. Trish did an excellent job. I have SNS and I must say they are the best Ive had. I intentionally waited almost 2 weeks to write this review to see how the held up and Im glad to say they look amazing. Will be back soon.

Jason is my go to nail tech! If having the most perfectly shaped nails is the most important thing to you I definitely recommend him . His work is amazing and always super consistent!! His acrylic and polish application is superb and he’s super kind and patient. You honestly can’t go wrong at this salon cus the owner does an amazing job at choosing extremely talented nail techs. They’re all really amazing at what they do.

Awesome place. No acetone or lacquer smell, newish equipment, friendly and professional employees, nice facilities, etc. Great overall experience for our entire group (brought 6 people) and very accommodating. All of us were in and out in less than 1.5 hours but never felt hurried once.

Ryan is my go-to guy. So sweet and very meticulous. You can tell hes very conscious of his work. Very good at his craft! I told him I was bringing my mom in soon after i initially saw him and he promised to take care of her too. She loved him and said the same thing, he is truly gifted with his craft. I went here for almost 2 years. The service it self is good depending on who you get. The employee gossip is not the best. You can hear other employees talk about clients and staff members. I have sent 5 people here and only 1 goes on a regular basis because of the gossiping. The prices are a bit crazy. I was charged 5 bucks for 3 dots whereas I could have gotten the entire nail designed for 5 bucks. The appointment windows are good. I do feel that they are not loyal to their long term customers. Anywhere else you go, they give you a discount somewhere normally 5 to 10 bucks depending on what you got, this place does not. It is clean and the selection of colors is the largest I have ever seen. I just cant with the no loyalty and the gossiping.If you want your feet done you go and ask for Beatrice!

First time here and first time in over a year since my last pedicure. First impression was good. Was taken pretty quickly. It wasnt busy. Pedicure was okay. I am used to more for the money even for a basic pedicure. While putting my sandals back on my pinky toe got smudged. It happens. But The Most disappointing part was the tech just wiped the smudge off the nail with her finger. Left what was left around the outside edges and repainted in the middle. Did not even bother with the top clear coat. Very sad and disappointed with my long awaited pedicure.

I’ve been to this nail salon a couple times for SNS and have always had a good experience. Today, was a GREAT experience. I came on my lunch break and unfortunately didn’t have time to finish the whole process before having to go back to work. Nancy, was very understanding and made my unfinished (my choice) nails look presentable so I could go back to work. She told me to come back as soon as I got off work at 5:30 and she would have a spot for me. Well I came back after work and she did! She remembered me instantly and had Ryan (who was great) finish up my nails. It’s the small things and going above and beyond for a client that will continue to keep Glitz and Glam in business for a long time. Thanks again, Nancy and Ryan!

My Mom-In-Law and I went here for pedicures just to try somewhere new and now it is our favorite spot! Trice and Jason were amazing! They knew exactly what they were doing and were professional and personable. Didnt have a long wait and we were walk-ins on a weekday evening right after work. 100% recommend!

Esther went out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of, & happy with my nails during the entire time. Coming from a nail salon I went to for 3 years seeing the same nail tech, I was extremely hesitant. I made Esther aware of how picky I am, and she assured me she would put me the best. Well enough, Jason did my nails, and I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy with the service and his work he did! He was the BEST! And Esther has the best hospitality skills for running the salon!!!!! 10/10!

Its large and people re not packed in and my favorite nail tech is there!

The people who work here are great. Everyone was nice and personable. My issue is with the value of the services. This was my first visit. I had time to kill and was in the area. I spent $106 on a mani and pedi (which is what I spend at my usual place) with SNS on the fingers and gel polish on the toes. Instead of soaking the old gel polish off, the manicurist used the dremel, several times, leaving my nails and finger tips very sore. He did not do anything to my cuticles and the shape is inconsistent. The SNS application left color bits stuck on my skin and stains. The pedi was okay but I definitely feel disappointed. I feel like the condition of my nails is worse now, but they will grow out eventually 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great! My gel French mani came out great. The place was clean and didnt smell like that normal over powering nail salon smell which was nice. Location is a bit hard to get into as far as parking, and that was on a Wednesday evening. Almost the entire time I was there they all spoke English which was a nice change from the normal nail salon scene. I had an appointment with Ryan but he got caught up with a previous customer and they put me with someone else pretty quick. My only reason for not having 5 stars is the tech I was put with was overly rough. She cut several of my fingers while trimming my cuticles and made them bleed. This was disappointing especially with my wedding being that weekend and all the close ups on my hands/ring. Aside from that, it was great! I would return!

Ines was an amazing technician. She was meticulous and gentle.... My feet have never felt so relaxed. The entire atmosphere was peaceful and everyone was so very kind.

My intention was to give this place 5 stars the initial 1-star was definitely an accident. Lenni does my nails and she is absolutely wonderful. I recently moved here from Germany and she is so patient with me and is quickly learning how I like my nails. I do think that charging an additional $15 for gel color for both feet and hands is a little outrageous (this would be my only complaint). Other than that Lenni and Victoria are co owners and they both are so so sweet and good at what they do. Victoria remembered my voice when I called in one day which made me feel special especially since she hasnt talked to me on the phone but maybe once or twice. The shop is clean and comfortable. Try them Im sure you will come back!

They have consistently been great. If you want the best SNS ask for Jason and Beatrice does an amazing pedicure. I love the atmosphere and have never been disappointed.

$$$$$ Shop charges 15 extra for Gel and charges 10 to take off gel. Shop is clean and service is good but the nickel and dime services makes me give it a NO. Seriously, you charged me $10.00 to use a drill on my nails to remove polish.

This place is the best nail place ever. Its been hard for me to find a nail tech that takes care of the kind of nails I like. Im a bartender so its hard to get any type of art on my nails and last. But as soon as I started coming her Ive had no complaints at all. They treat you as if your royalty and I love that!!!!! Ive been going her since January of this year, and I will never stop going. Also there pedicures are the best Ive had everyone of them!!!! So please try this place out you will not be disappointed 😀😀😀

The absolute worst experience EVER!!! I was so disappointed and UPSET by the time I got out of the chair for Both ( Manicure) & ( Full-Set).. I told the lady doing my manicure exactly how I wanted my toes and she completely ignored me ( she spoke English so I knew she Understood me perfectly)The older gentleman doing my full set was extremely rude and disrespectful and just did Not care how they looked.. When I explained to Linnie what happened, she had Lisa (the BEST) redo them for me. No fuss or anything. She did them WONDERFULLY. Never going to anyone else again. It’s a nice nail salon, clean and modern. We were greeted by a friendly tech. Unfortunately, the tech who did my nails didn’t meet my expectations. These cuticles are sloppy. She didn’t even try to clean up the excess nail polish. It looks cheap!

I walked into Glitz and Glam feeling super down because I got a fill and gel polish the day before from another salon and it was horrible! The shape was way off. Color was patchy and had bubbles. Anyways, I was greeted by Victoria. Super sweet! She drilled off the horrible polish, fixed the shape, and didnt mind applying three coats of the gel to make sure it wasnt patchy. She also did my gel pedicure and did an amazing job! This salon is pretty new and has an amazingly relaxing feel. Super clean and high end. You may have to wait a little bit, but the quality is worth it. Or you can always make an appointment. Check them out!

I love this nail salon, very clean and great atmosphere! Linnie and Lisa do beautiful nails. Everyone honestly seems to go great there! You can’t go wrong.
