This is my go-to nail spot all the time! The customer service is amazing and everyone does such an amazing job. I got these done by Linh and they are absolutely perfect. I usually go for a more simple design, but she still is a master! I would recommend getting an appointment ahead of time as the wait can be a bit long if you’re in a hurry. I don’t mind the wait though as I know it will always be perfect!

I always love coming to this place, so relaxing and everyone is so friendly. My mom and I have been coming to castle since I was in elementary school and the owners are truly the most professional and skilled nail techs. I have never had any service go wrong here that wasn’t immediately fixed. They really care about their customers and do an amazing job

They did not provide the service that was asked for and agreed to for my mother. I asked them to grind her toe nails. After saying yes, they did a very bad job soaking and cutting only, slapped some color on and expected us to be happy. When questioned about it, the owner raised his voice to us, told us that service was not offered any more and asked up to leave. I had to take my elderly mother out of the establishment under what I would describe as duress. Be very cautious of this business... Pay a bit more and go elsewhere.

Fali does a PHENOMENAL job with pink and whites, designs, and am assuming everything else! I’ve gotten pink and whites at a lot of different places and nobody has ever done them as good as she has. And the place is big and beautiful. Highly highly recommend this place!

Went for a pedicure on 9/9/18 and the experience was horrible! I have been a customer there for several years and this was so disappointing. The tech clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Did not soak my feet until I kept asking and when he finally said to put my feet in the water it was ice cold. He trimmed my nails put the wax bags on and then hit rocks very quick massage less than a minute on each leg and then began prepping for the new polish without cleaning under the nails or doing the cuticles. I had to insist that he clean the nails three times. I also asked him why he was going to put the new polish over the old polish he had not removed from the sides of my nails. Before I knew it he poured half a bottle of nail polish remover over my foot and sandal . I asked him to stop and get Helen. Helen the owner came over and asked what the problem was and I explained what he was doing in this case what he wasn’t doing properly. She insisted everything looked fine to her despite the fact that the toes still had the old polish on them and the nails still were not clean. I told her I was not going to continue and asked her what I owed. Again I did not get what I came in for my toes weren’t polished and Helen insisted that I pay for a full pedicure !! I will never go back to a business that has such poor customer service and does not recognize their own errors and still charges the customer for a service not provided!! Shame on you Helen.

Called an appt pedicure at 10:00. Sure sure come on in @ 10:30. When I got there they sat me down with two others on the same side. They were working three others on the other side while making us all wait. I was the last one seated, do not know how long the others had been there. Left and wont be back. Stumbled upon a nice one down the road who speaks english fluently and did a better job for 10.00 less. They required masks and made me use sanitizer.....upon entering.

I have been going to Castle Nails for about 13 years. The owners are great. Its clean and I always get what I ask for. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I’ve given this place several try’s just because they are very convenient to my house but this will be my last time! The nail techs here are HORRIBLE at shaping! I spoke to the manager and he stated that every shapes differently as if that was ok. This is a total waste of my hard earned money.Sn: this is the finished product after 2 hours and 4 times trying the “fix” the tech new set!

My parents (in their 80s) love the pampering here. They are treated gently and with respect. Priceless.

My pedicure person scraped my foot so hard in the beginning that she gave me a sore… Then tonight when I got home everything was dry and rough

Usually have a great experience here. Today though, tech had sharp fingernails and drew blood with the cuticle nippers. I was slow to stop bleeding and wanted to leave without polish. Imagine my horror when she attempted to put NAIL GLUE on my cut! Maybe you do that to yourself but don’t try that on me. I asked her to keep the polish away from the cut. She didn’t do that. I seriously doubt I will ever come back.

I called early in the week and booked two mani+pedis for a Saturday morning, the man on the phone was so pleasant! When I got to the salon, I then learned the man I spoke with is the owner. He was super helpful in helping me pick out some holiday colors and the plus, I didnt have to wait a single minute to be seated unlike other salons Ive been to. My friend was running late, but once she got in they set her up right next to me for her manicure (Extra plus) Matthew did amazing with my manicure, and Molly was the sweetest and did such an awesome job with my pedicure. I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you Castle Nails!!

I love this Nail Salon! I have been coming here since they opened about 10 years ago. I have veered off a few times and gone to other salons due to travel or going with my friends to their salons. I ALWAYS end up coming back to Castle Nails, the staff is the most professional and educated in all the current nail trends and very friendly!! My acrylic nails(my favorite) have never lifted, broke or peeled, the pedicures are great, you can choose from different levels but even the basic(cheapest) is also wonderful! They also offer waxing and a few other services. A few years back they expanded and renovated their salon and the result is great it is still tastefully decorated and now so relaxing and has a spa like atmosphere! I highly recommend it. :)

They do terrible on acrylics mine already broke and I got them 3 days ago and they do not know how to shape. I asked for coffin and they said oh extra 5 dollars so I said okay then they made them squared which was free? So I said this is square why am I getting charged I want coffin and they still didnt shape them and charged me I kept showing them pictures of a simple nail shape

Normally this is a 5 star salon, gel manicures last 2 weeks easy with no lifting, friendly staff, clean, easy atmosphere. Lost a star from me today for not offering any kind of customer service discount when my last manicure didnt even last a week. There are many techs here to do it better than the last one so Ill still come back because its close to home. But if it happens again Ill be really disappointed. Theres no reason I should have to spend this kind of money and time every week.

I loooooveeee Castle Nails. Lily is the best tech and I see her for each appointment. Shes so sweet and does wonderful work. But Ive honestly never had a bad Mani or pedi. The owners are always friendly and the place is very clean. I highly recommend.

I have been attending this location since they opened... and that for me my experience is nothing less than perfect.My daughters attend this location as well and never once has any of the techs performed less than professional, nice, clean... and nails done amazing.This is a family owned nail salon and i support family owned business.Great location, beautiful new spa... and again the tech all are great and service is 100% on target.13 years now since Ive been going to this nail salon.

Did a great job. However Ive been here a handful of times over the past 7 years & have always left feeling they didnt deserve my business. The main staff is pleasant, my issue is with the owners. Ive had them attempt to talk me out of service. Tell me they were had an appointment because they didnt want to provide them.. I will say they do a good job as far as quality.. but treating there customers with equality, not so much. I will say I will visit once more & do another review before I decide to stop with the establishment all together.

Castle Nails a great salon it runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone is working hard and barely waiting for the next client. It is a little pricey but they do great manicures, pedicures and waxing.

Absolutely ridiculous. I got my nails done a week ago. They lasted 8 days then fell off. By day two, the gel polish was peeling off. I asked for coffin shape, was charged 5 extra dollars and they were square. When I asked to have them shaped more, the guy told me they were too short to do coffin shape but still charged me the 5 extra dollars. They were also supposed to be matte, but the matte coat wore off after two days and they ended up just being gloss. This was the most ridiculous nail salon I’ve ever been to and a waste of $55. The salons at the front of walmart will do a better job. I do not recommend!

First off I feel like the prices are higher than they need to be. The lady doing my mother pedicure was rude. I got acrylics done and not even four full days has past and I only have 4 nails on still, I paid 35 for those I would hope they would last longer than that. Really disappointed.Update: one minute after I posted this review another nail fell off

CASTLE NAILS SAVED THE DAY! We had an appointment this morning at Bartram spa for myself and my wedding party, upon arrival they told us they couldn’t help us cause they don’t offer gel or acrylic and we also would be taken back one by one. So in a panic with the wedding day two days away and only one day to get our nails done we called castle nails in a panic. They welcomed myself and girls with open arms and were so sweet, got us in right away! we were all able to get pedicures and manicures together and they did a remarkable job! On top of the price was HALF of what Bartram spa would have charged us! If you are looking for GREAT SERVICE and GREAT people this is the place! They have my heart and business forever now!! They are rude, especially the one old guy who is maybe the owner? Friends in the business who used to work for them told me that they re-use the toe separators and the disposable flip flops. No one there is warm and kind, just snappy rude aggressive. Dont waste your money. Not a nice experience

Always busy. Depends on who you get for pedi and mani. If you are not there when open. You may need to wait. Some rush some do not. Pick your person.

My husband surprised me with A gift certificate. He asked the gentleman at the front for a wax and tip. Man at front told my husband that half the price of the wax was a good tip charging my husband $5.00 for a $10.00 wax. No price listed on the gift certificate. When I got to the shop I had to ask several times how much the certificate was for because he just kept saying eyebrow wax and tip. Quite the joke! Wont be going back purely due to my husband being taken advatnage of.

Over priced and the owner is EXTREMELY rude. Took my nieces to just get a polish and was told upon arriving that it was $18 for both by Helen. I understand miscommunication with language differences but when I went to pay it was $36!!!! She meant $18 each NOT both. When I said thats pretty expensive for just a polish for 2 little girls the man (use the term loosely)up front told me it is not and I could go somewhere else next time. @$%#@%×# needless to say that did NOT go over well and I DEFINITELY will go somewhere else. Anyone looking for a great place that actually values customers head over to The Nail Spot, super nice and great mani/pedis.

Update: My nails started turning a brackish color a week later, I got a bright pink. 70 dollars down the drain..Wish I could do no stars. Outrageously priced and owner was incredibly rude. Ive worked at multiple nail salons and weve never charged the way they do. If you get the combo medi/pedi, gel is excluded from that special pricing so plan on paying around 70 dollars for nails that will not last very long. Will never go back here and I hope you never do as well.

Good service overall.... I just hate to be nickeled and dimed. If you get tips and want a certain shape its an additional $5.00 for gel polish if you like the ombre gel polish, it costs an additional $5.00 and on 3 occasions the gel polish started peeling within 2 days! $30.00 for nail polish that lasts 2 days, ugh.i never really had to wait here and I was never overlooked. The woman owner is nice most of the time but I have yet to find a nail salon in Jacksonville that offers really good customer service.
