I toured early on a Saturday, Beautiful apartments the actually tour guide showed me around from the video on YouTube. She was very nice and knowledgeable. The parking was a little crowded, however I only seen one side(the model). Overall great property.

Nicki was so so so great!! I moved in with my two best friends this past Monday and the process was so smooth and everything has been great thus far!! We’ve had a few things that we needed fixed in the apartment and Nicki has been super responsive and quick to put in a work order for everything we need. She is so sweet and made us all even more excited and assured about our apartment and moving in!! 11/10

I have been a renter at Florida Club for a better part of a year and I’m coming up for a lease renewal and Renee in the front office made it so easy. I would truly recommend this apartment complex to anyone the staff always goes above and beyond and I would recommend this property to anyone.

I just moved into this apartment and love it so much! Everyone has been so responsive, and kind. Nicki especially has been amazing with answering all of our questions/comments/concerns and has been so sweet!

I went in today to tour an apartment. I met with Lynette I believe. When we walked the model unit I had asked simple questions about if the apartment I was considering had some of the same stuff as the unit I was looking at renting. She was extremely passive aggressive and rude the entire time and spoke down to me for asking very simple questions. Will not be leasing there just off that interaction. Literally the rudest person for no reason

We do the lawn maintenance on this property and I work with Renee the property manager and what I joy to work for wish everyone could be as understanding as her. Love working with her.

I have a friend who lives here and loves it. I notice how clean the grounds are when I visit. I actually met the manager and she was very friendly, polite and quick to respond when my friend had an inquiry. I highly recommend this complex.

I have had an amazing experience living at Florida Club. I have been here for 3 years and have never had any issues. The property management and maintenance have always responded promptly and are very friendly. Anything I have needed they were able to assist. The complex is quiet and secluded, and pool/grill area are never over crowded. I highly recommend living here!

Ms. Renee and her staff are the absolute best I have had the pleasure of living with. I have been here 8 months and I have had zero issues with the place. If anything breaks, maintenance is responsive within 24-48 hours. With COVID-19 they have been a blessing to not charge late fees, and very patient with us. The only issue is that the floors and walls are thin, so you do hear loud neighbors. I love it here!

Just moved in and I couldn’t be happier! The office staff has been so nice and helpful every step of the way. My family came over last weekend and also fell in love with the community. I wish they had a playground but the girls in the office said they will be adding a game room soon. Best decision I made!

We moved here from orange park and we love the area. Our neighbors are wonderful. The floorplan is semi open which is nice. Our master bedroom in our 3/2 is huge. We have a king bed 2 dressers and 2 nightstands and still have plenty of room. The office staff have been very sweet, helpful, and kind. The location is amazing as well. Close to shopping and multiple ways to get around traffic.

Maintenance people are the only good thing about this apartment complex and the old staff was super friendly and helpful. New staff is rude and they will charge for every little thing. Charged $50 for a plastic gate card (costs less than $3 to order one) to their gate that doesnt even work. Asked for a better lease price on my first renewal and basically got told to shove it, but then when I was over it and left after my second lease was up they put a notice on my door offering $1300 for to renew the lease for a 3 bedroom. Do not, I repeat, do not, live here. The apartment floors are sunk in, the doors fall off the track. The dog park has no water station, the gym is tiny and always crowded. The parking is nonexistent, and if you live in any of the front buildings, your headboard is going to sit on the road that everyone likes to fly down doing 100 with obnoxiously loud vehicles. Youll also hear every sound your upstairs neighbors make, and then on top of all of that they nickel and dime you for everything on move-out. Absolutely disgusting business practices. Dont let their high prices fool you. You are paying for living on gate parkway. There are way nicer apartments up and down the road for the same price or better.

This Place is amazing. I have lived here for almost a year, and it is a great place to live. The property manager is the best I have ever seen. The apartments are very nice, especially with the new upgrades they are doing, and the amenities are great too!! The location is great close to everything including the malls. Overall, I give it 5 stars... It is truly one of the premier apartment communities in Jacksonville.

I waited before doing any review on Florida Club at Deerwood to give an honest opinion. I have now lived here for 3 months and I do not have one single complaint about this place. The maintenance men are AMAZING and always on top of any issues. I honestly love the office staff (especially Shannon- she is such a sweetheart and is always smiling). The complex is usually pretty quiet. I rarely ever hear my neighbors upstairs and we even know a few of our neighbors that came and introduced themselves the day we moved in. I love that I can open my patio door and can hear the water fountain. My dog LOVES the screened in patio and will just watch everyone walk by. They have a huge dog park too! They have updated kitchens with a beautiful bar and sink. This is the only apartment that Ive lived in that really does feel like home. Great job Florida Club staff!

The leasing staff made it incredibly easy to move into the complex. My wife and I werent planning on moving in so soon, but the deals that were offered were too good to pass up. Several months into the lease and were very pleased with the overall experience!

We havent lived here very long but, so far we think its great! We have had a few minor move in issues but the maintenance men responded very quickly. I do want to say how great Jorge and Charles are! They provide Wonderful customer service and are friendly and efficient !The office .... Lucinda was extremely helpful... we contacted her several times before moving in.... and on Sunday, May 1, the young woman in the leasing office was VERY nice! All in all the office staff are nice and helpful.

Love Florida Club! The upgrades in our apartment make it truly feel like home. The rent is a bit pricy, however, it is worth it for the amenities, upgrades, and location! I would suggest more community activities to get to know others living here. Examples would be wine and canvas, socials, etc. That would be nice! Other than that, I would totally recommend Florida Club!

Ive been here for two and a half month so far and love it! The price is reasonable for a newly remodeled apartment with new floors, countertops, etc. The management is awesome and always fix any problems you have within a couple days. I havent had any problems with neighbors either. Great area and great size complex. Beautiful pool and decent gym too.

I have lived here about 9 months now and for the most part the place is nice. The upgrades are awesome and look very nice but the paint peels a lot. There are spiders in my apartment and though I pay for pest control and have requested for them to come spray for 6 months now they have yet to come. Service requests are slow to be completed and I find myself having to remind them that my stuff is broken. The dog park is an awesome place for my pup and she loves it but she can only be there for about 15 minutes because there is no water for them to drink. I told this to the management team here and they just blew me off and didnt seem to care. I love Anne who helped us get into this apartment but the new women in the office dont seem to know much about the place and always tell me theyll have to ask someone. Overall the place is pretty pricey but I enjoy the quiet community and closeness to main attractions here in Jacksonville.

Not even sure where to start. FL Club may look nice from the outside but the appliances are cheap, break quickly- NO insulation on the flooring you can hear every single footstep, I would test it for yourself before you move in ... They decided to put down lament flooring on the second floor.. COMPLETE disaster. Our downstairs neighbors reported us weekly for just walking. Not to mention they would scream at us nightly and play music so loud our floors would shake. The maintenance people were the best thing about FL club. They were polite and always trying to help. The rent is way over priced for the property. And the managers were useless. Never call the office to get anything done they wont answer or return your calls. I left over 10 voicemails reporting things and not 1 was returned. In my opinion there are way better apartments in the South Side to live in. Much more cost efficient and actually care about their tenants who pay $1,400 in rent every month. If you care about noise and sanity dont live there... I am not a crazy person this was truly a poorly managed apartment complex, besides the maintenance men and women. They should be given raises and promotions. Everyone else... RUN

I am a current resident of this place. The apartments look nice on the inside, however it is not worth the BS you have to tolerate living here. The parking is HORRIBLE and if you get home in the evening you have to drive around and look for parking. They constantly send out newsletters about how they know parking is horrible and they’re working on it, but are leaving notes on people’s cars who have to create a parking spot at night. They also just merged 2 parking spots into 1 as reserved parking for 1 tenant who kept complaining !!! The gate is constantly broken here as well. These apartments are not worth the price for what they offer (gym, pool, dog park) you are better off going to another apartment down the street they all have great amenities (gym, pool & hot tub, movie theater, game room, playground, good parking, socials/events, etc. ) for their tenants.

Lucinda is very nice but the place is really over priced. The dogs have the best spot in the complex ( the dog park is great ) .The parking is really really bad, my room mate got a ticket cause there was no where to park. THERE IS A FEE TO PAY ONLINE ....Ive had to sleep at my moms house three nights cause there was no where to park where I live. If you have a kid dont bother living here there is no playground. If you work over night dont live her cause when you get home there will be no where to park. My best advice is to go somewhere else on gate there are apartments in the area for better prices with nicer amenities. Im over walking out of my door smelling weed because my building is full of college kids.

I am not one to complain, but I have absolutely had it with our apartment complex. If you are looking for a place to live Florida Club at Deerwood is NOT it! We are counting down the days until we leave this place. From the beginning, we should have seen the signs after they changed our apartment on us three different times, because they weren’t organized to know which ones were occupied and which ones were not. Then once they gave us an open apartment, they raised the price on us for the unit they chose available when it was not even our fault. The management was changed since moving in and it has not been any better. If anything it has been worse. The new management company is Fogelman Management Group. My best friend lived here for a year, and also had issues with the management company. Charging them extra fees when they moved out for things that they were not told about in the beginning. They also lost their final check, and sent a credit bureau after them. She went and showed proof they had paid and the management company said they would resolve this and remove it from the credit report and it has YET to be done. They moved out in April. In November, we had an incident, and I came home to my house covered in black soot. Our air filter was pitch black. They blamed my two bath and body work candles for ALL of this damage. I had barely burned the candle a total of two hours the day we noticed the soot. It was EVERYWHERE, but the worst damage was to my brand new white comforter, and my Caitlin Wilson designer pillows in our Master bedroom. Jon took two days off to help me clean up this mess, and they blame my candles. I have family members who burn candles ALL the time and have never seen it cause this. We asked to be reimbursed simply for our bedroom suit. I have washed it and bleached it and it is not coming out. They sent an AC guy out and he said that it was the candles, but had we had a higher/thicker quality air filter, it would have trapped this. The man they sent was SO rude, interrupting us several times, and answered his phone many times. He was very difficult to understand and barely speak English. We felt as though they chose who would tell us what they wanted him to say. We very politely tried to get this matter resolved with the management company, and after two weeks, and us having to reach out to them, we got an answer that we would not be reimbursed. Had I known that I needed a higher quality air filter, I would have provided it myself. You would think the rent we pay they would give us somewhat of a more quality air filter or tell us to NOT burn candles. The most recent issue now is the trash is so backed up, the walkway is completely inaccessible. I repeat DO NOT look at the Florida Club at Deerwood. It has been a nightmare from beginning to end. The only good thing I can say is that Arthur the Maintenance Repair man on site has been wonderful. He is the only good thing about this place. They are so desperate for some good reviews, they have been trying to give away iPads for people to go write one. If there was actually something good about this place to say, there would not be the need for bribery.

I really do enjoy my apartment and the place is nice but my word the parking situation here is an absolute nightmare. Its like you can;t go out at night because when you get back there are literally ZERO spots available.I have lived here for about 7 months now and this is simply my opinion. The apartments are good looking inside and out if you have one of the remodels (I do). The granite counter tops and dark wood floors are lovely.There are several cons though. Parking is an absolute nightmare here. I ended up renting a garage just to have somewhere to park which is an added $70 a month. people park on the curbs and block the garage areas making it a pain in the morning. Since I have moved in there have been several small issues. First there was no weather stripping on the front door which led to insects and lizards. The weather stripping has since been fixed but you can still see tiny gaps thus that leads to problem number 2. Bugs!. I am constantly finding ants, roaches, or other insects in my place. I am super clean (OCD germaphobe-like) and they just don;t seem to go away. Third, I have had to have the dishwasher fixed twice. Each time they say they will replace it but the maintenance man clearly does not want to so he fixes it and moves on. Fourth, the paint inside is horrible. It is coarse and feels cheap. it peels A LOT and feels rough to the touch. Fifth, I have had to have the sink fixed due to a leak twice now. Once for the drain and another for the head. Sixth, the key fobs they provide for the gym and yoga room never seem to work even after havig them resynced by management.The neighborhood itself seems pretty nice but I do think that there are people who do not live here at the pool regularly as you see them come and go regularly. The staff is ok, the main lady is pleasant but the other two in the office can be rude and just have very little people skills it seems. Especially the young guy.Overall it is a decent place to live but the cost for what you get is definitely on the high side.As I moved from Iowa to take a job in Jacksonville, I was not familiar with the area. In retrospect, it would not be my first choice but it would not be my last either. I do think the pricing will be a major factor moving forward as it seems a lot of people cant justify the cost for what they get. I am paying a little over 1300 a month for a 2/2 but given the above, I doubt Id renew when the time comes.Overall Id say a 2.5 out of 5

The apartments are very nice looking inside and out. However, the way the apartment is ran is a scam. To start off parking is TERRIBLE. For the whole year I lived most the time I couldnt park near my apartment and was told I had to park on the other side of the apartment complex due to too many cars. I felt as if I was being punished for being a working college student and getting in late from work. For paying so much on rent I should be able to park right by my apartment, right? So after seeing other cars park on the curb I started doing so. Yet to be told I couldnt do that and threatened that I would have my car towed. Our on site maintenance man was at least lenient and said I wouldnt have a problem as long as I got up early and moved my car to a spot by 7am. However, again other cars were left parked on a curb un-towed until 3pm. Unfair? Yes.Another time I went in to ask a question and upon looking at my account the manager said there was a $100 late fee on my account and that in 3 more days another $100 late fee would be added for not paying the previous rent. I NEVER missed a billing due date. Later to find out that florida club had made a mistake and entered in wrong information.Next, I referred a few friends to move in to florida club, which now I see is a mistake to have done that. I should have told them to run away. I was told I would receive $50 each for them moving in. But florida club lied and did not honor their agreement. Every time I called to find out information I was told I would be given a call back. Every time they said this they never called back. I do not recommend anyone moving into florida club.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you dont want your credit score ruined. I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews, and try to avoid them if I could, but Florida Club left me no choice. I have been trying for TWO YEARS to get this Apartment to clear my spouse and my credit after we were falsely reported. I was apologized to back in February 2014 and told everything would be taken care of and to expect our refund check. However, here it is February 2015 and we STILL have collection notices coming to our door. Not to mention our deposit refund was no where near the amount it was suppose to be, despite the fact that 1) we adhered to the terms of our contract 2) there was no damage to the apartment upon leaving and 3) we were owed a refund of the overcharges for the water bill, per Alicia, (that we NEVER received). Why did we move? Noisy neighbors, mostly college students, who would throw wild parties and were NEVER dealt with. Neighbors who would leave raw meat outside the door and allow the blood to spill down the walkway and unto the staircase (nothing done meat remained outside for 4 days). Neighbors who would leave stinky garbage outside, and we had one neighbor who had a couch outside their door for 3 MONTHS. Dogs being tied to garages and left alone(again nothing done and yes I have pictures of everything) Then we had the incident when the manager illegally entered my apartment to show it to a potential renter, after wed turned in our 90 day noticed, and then tried to run once I caught her because she didnt know I was home WITH COMPANY WHO ALSO WITNESSED THIS EVENT. She also didnt know a neighbor who was walking her dog followed her from the clubhouse to our building after overhearing her say she was taking the visitors to a show apartment knowing there was NO SHOWHOUSE APARTMENT IN THAT SECTION. Now if the resident knew that, how could she have made the mistake of entering the wrong apartment. Really? Youre the manager. Did you forget where the show apartments were and did you magically get OUR KEY to open a show apartment? (per our conversation) Then she tried to take them next door and told me, we are here for inspection. But once she saw I wasnt going to leave, she came back to get the two men, whom she had left upstairs waiting in front of my neighbors door for her. My spouse and I waited that evening for our neighbors to get home and asked them about the alleged inspection and they were clueless. When we moved into Florida Club we initially had NO intention of moving, thinking we had found a long term temporary home. Unfortunately, once the managers changed we have found nothing but a web of lies and empty promises when dealing with the Florida Club at Deerwood. It is shameful because the property could have potential if it was managed correctly. The only good thing about this place is Arthur, the maintence man. He is courteous, quick, HONEST and a breath of fresh air. If only the people who worked management for this organization would learn the customer service skills he exhibits. Of course management is going to come to this post and say the standard, Im sorry, please contact us to look good. However, that does not fix you falsely reporting us and still not fixing the problem when we contacted you in 2013. Then upper management contacted us February 2014, after I called Greystar, apologizing stating that the problem will be taken care of and you will receive your refund in the mail. Only to get a partial refund and STILL be reported to the collection agencies despite your word. SHAME ON YOU FLORIDA CLUB! Im not slandering you, Im only stating FACTS!!!
