The Cause: Water Damage from main hot water hookup in 2nd floor laundry room.-The Total Restoration Team was amazing. From the crew that walked in to tear my house apart to start the drying process, to the follow up calls, and the final insurance quote, they knocked it out of the park, considering the situation. The crew that arrived to start the clean up worked around my young kids and dogs. They were considerate and understanding of their need to watch what was happening in their home and answered my ever growing list of questions. I would highly recommend this privately owned small business to everyone. They will get the job done right and as quickly as possible. If we ever have an issue like this again, they will be the first call.

Total Restoration is a great company with which to work. They came the same day my insurance agent called them and began to immediately take care of my water damage (which was huge). All of the workers were polite, responsive to my questions and did a great job. The project manager, Jessica Clingler, was a tremendous help in scheduling the work with the different vendors. It was a tremendous relief to me that I did not have to locate all of those different vendors. Jessica told me that it would take about two months to get all of the work completed and she was right on target. I am totally satisfied with what Total Restoration did for me.

3 months ago I found a issue with my dryer vent being apart in my ceiling and years of lint exhausted into the rafters. Further inspection found moisture and mildew along with siding damage to the exterior. I met with Caleb and my insurance adjuster and we settled on what needed to be done and the estimated cost to repair. Insurance paid me after subtracting my deductible and thats when things went bad. My project manager Lance Stewart was 2 hours late to go over the time line and work they were going to do and answer any questions I might have. I asked how long I should expect the repairs to take and he explained he is instructed to tell everyone 5-6 weeks but he felt it would be done in 3-4. I was happy with that and paid them the %50 down to start the work. That was over 5 weeks ago! I started reaching out to Lance after the 3rd week and have left him 6 messages on his voice mail and 2 at the office. Only once did Lance ever answer and 1 time he sent a text that stated he was in a meeting and would call me back. That never happened! I finally called the office and asked for upper management and was told someone would call me back. When the manager did return my call a few hours later I was told they could not find anyone to do the repairs at the price I was quoted and also submitted to my insurance. I asked him what was there that could be done and was told nothing, I cant help you. When I asked what about the money I already paid them 5 weeks ago he said that he will submit a return with the girls in the office. Meanwhile I still have holes in my ceiling and wall and a exhaust tube leaking into the rafters and have not received my refund.

Cory and his team did outstanding work on our home.We had experienced water damage throughout the home. TR replaced dry-wall, hardwood floors, countertops, cabinets, and paint throughout.We are very pleased with the end result.Cory was timely in his follow-up and did a great job keeping his team on schedule.All on the team were very professional.We can’t thank Cory enough for digging in and getting this project completed to our expectations!

1 star. would not recommend. The worst. Not timely. Lied about ability to do repairs. Paid off just to get them out of my house ... second guy did his best to repair the unrepairable. Will never use and need to forewarn insurance company .... now to find someone to do it for me right ...

We had flood damage to my basement business office (1500 sq ft).The Restoration staff were above average from water removal, removal of base boards and replacing to flour covering and touch up with paint. Within 48 hours of the first call, they had a team here to find the scope of the damage, removal of wet materials and a system for drying. All of this was done with courtesy and respect for our home and us. When they came back the next day, the estimator was at our home and Heather arrived about the same time. They were prompt at first at trying to remove the moisture from the floors from the flood. After that it was horrible. It took 4 weeks for the flooring guy to come to our house and show us options. When he arrived he had brought the wrong samples, no problem stuff happens. We picked out a floor and never heard back from them. We decided to have the cabinets replaced as well, same deal they came out and took measurements and never returned. I would not recommend.

Best we’ve ever had! So nice to be able to trust that the work is going to be done right the first time. Lance was extremely personable and helpful and the entire process went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Nationwide was my insurance and it was the provender of my insurance company they came out and gave an estimate and did not look at everything that needed to be done after my house was messed up and reported it to the insurance company and on February 23rd they came out February 24th and it is June the 19th my house is just as bad now as what it ever was before February when we had the heavy snow they ordered a cheap awning for the back of my house it was supposed to come out and cover up the back side of my house I have animals squirrels cats bird nest build up in it you can from the inside out you can see the sun shining into my house it ripped the screens out of my windows the awning they sit a man and a woman these two Mexicans out that they spent 3 hours at my house took down probably maybe five six screws off the old awning and left the rest a mess they took my money but never finished the job and Ive been waiting ever since February so people please dont trust these people they lie to you theyll tell you anything you want to hear to get the money for that check from the insurance company and then they dont show up to do the job and they talk to you awful they lie to you they dont do the work I am still waiting to receive my check back from them and for them to comepick up theyre cheap awning that they ordered so please check around dont go with these people they did not want even come on the inside of my house to check to see the damage in therethe awning that they ordered that did not fit my house and the people that came out to work on it said oh you can have a screen door on the back of your house now because the awning they ordered was not the right awning so do yourself a favor find somebody else dont trust this company

The entire crew has been amazing and very organized. They’ve handled the tough job of inventorying and packing all of our belongings after a home fire. I would not recommend Total Restoration to anyone. Total Restoration said items would be repaired properly to which they were not. Have to Hire another contractor to get house repaired right. They are not true to their word!!!

I had an awesome experience with Total Restoration. We had water damage due to some plumbing issues and they were quick to resolve the damages and my concerns. We actually had three separate leaks and they were out the next morning to dry the area (the leaks were not their fault but the plumbing company). Aaron, the rep I dealt with was very professional and compassionate about our situation. He went out of his way to work with both the plumbing company and our insurance company to make sure the job was done right.Their workers were highly skilled. You cant even tell our basement ceiling was damaged. They cleaned up after themselves and took a lot of pride in their work. My wife and I always wonder what happened to customer service and competent skilled tradesman. If you are looking for these qualities in a restoration company I would not hesitate to call Aaron at Total Restoration. In over 25 years of owning a house they are the best group of people I have ever worked with. Very refreshing!

My husband and I were referred to Total Restoration from our insurance company. It started off great with nice people but once they sent the quote and we tried to get something scheduled we never heard back. Weve called, texted and emailed and have had no response. Our house has been in disarray from a water leak 3 months ago. It was a smaller job and I understand that many contractors are busy but to never hear back was extremely frustrating and disappointing seeing as we just want our home put back together.

Total Restoration took care of our drywall issues after another company accidentally stepped through our ceiling. The other company paid for the work, so I cant speak to any pricing or billing.However, so much communication the whole way! I loved receiving emails and phone calls from the staff checking that everything was going well and making sure I was happy, rather than just assuming. Very proactive and with me the whole way, even though I wasnt the one paying!

They took care of everything like they said they would.

Excellent service, on time, called ahead to schedule. Did excellent cleanup after job was completed daily. Did not waste time went right to work and were very productive. Completed job in a timely manner. However they stiffed me when it came to remodeling my house. Because I would not let them do my kitchen and dining room floor they declined to do the job after doing the estimate and waiting a week and a half to tell me. They also knew this in advance.

Total Restoration came in and saved the day! I had chosen another restoration company to take care of damage to my home from a hail storm. The other company dragged their feet and left me feeling confused and concerned. After 3 months with the other company, I called Total Restoration. It was night & day difference! They were extremely attentive and walked me through the entire process. I had the peace of mind for this first time with this entire ordeal. I felt like a priority and very well taken care of. ZERO STARS, AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTSAt the recommendation of our plumber, we called these people after rain flooding. The water never rose above the surface of the carpet.Their technician showed up, insisted that while he couldnt really tell anything, probably the entire level of the house would have be stripped of drywall and carpet.I asked about extracting/drying the water, and he insisted I should LEAVE IT SIT until they responded, which might take up to three days. He pulled the Im a homeowner like you and I know its hard to hear this bit at least four times.I asked for confirmation on the assumption that the carpet was ruined but we could mitigate further damage.He again insisted we should do absolutely nothing, let the water sit, wait for our insurance adjuster (who was four days later, due to other damage in the area), and that he estimated the repair to be $6000 to $7000, and that our furniture would be ruined, too.Everyone Ive spoken to in this business, our insurance company, everyone whos ever been flooded all agree that IMMEDIATE water removal mitigates ongoing damage.Im sure the furniture would have been ruined, and the drywall, IF Id taken his advice to just leave debris-laden water sit on my floor for three to four days.Instead, we spent about $300 renting extractors, dehumidifiers and large fans. We did have to remove the carpet and it will be replaced.There was ZERO mold or moisture damage to the drywall--the bottom edges are still clean, white and factory looking two weeks later.They have been treated with a preventive spray. The carpet is being replaced. Because we extracted the water and dried within 24 hours, it was never able to soak up into the framing or drywall, and there was no further damage.I can only assume their intent was to cause such damage to pad out the bill, which they assumed our insurer would cover. As it turns out, foundating flooding is not covered by most insurers, so that $6000 to $7000 bill would have been all ours.We resolved it for about $1500.Dont waste your time or risk your house with these clowns.

They use subcontractors. Had two different crews doing tile work. First one was fired second one did such a poor job I had to hire my own tile worker to fix about 8 broken tiles due to not having hardly any thinset under them. Do not reccomend.

Do not use. They have deceptive billing practices. They provided no upfront pricing and charged for work they never did. Try to charge for after hours work that was conducted during normal business hours. I would never recommend them to anyone. They charged more for the removal of my basement flooring than the install. Stay away from this completely dishonest business. They also left equipment days longer than needed to increase their bill.

They were fast in responding, clear in directions, constant in checking equipment and showed empathy for what we were dealing with. I would use them again before anyone else.

Great company. We called them after a frozen pipe burst in our home. They came right out, cleaned up the mess and set up fans and dehumidifiers. Highly recommend!

The people that came out were friendly, but the good stopped there. They wouldnt give a ballpark cost and when I received the bill it was a single line explanation. I requested the detail only to find that they could have given an estimate, because most of the line items have a set price that they know ahead of time. When I went thru the bill, which is intentionally deceptive, I noticed I was billed for work they didnt do, days they didnt show up, and for machines that didnt work. On top of that it took them almost 2 months to quote the repair after saying it would be a couple days. The project manager never returned any of my 5 calls and they have never followed up. Really poor experience.

I use Total because of the very quick response, the way you inform my insureds of the path to restoration and inform them of the options they have, the way you keep me informed as the claim progresses and the great job you and your employees do on the restoration of claims. 1 star provided because 0 was not an option...Total Restoration was referred to us by our insurance adjuster, which we trust completely. We had a flood (in our office) in June of 2017 and here we are in October and it is still not done. They call expecting payment but it has never been completed properly. Several SUB-contractors were sent multiple times. When the carpet was installed incorrectly, many subs came to quick fix it. Our floor was left uneven, sub-floor improperly fitted and the carpet was never stretched. They installed extra baseboards in the bathroom to hide the incorrect fitting of the floating floor they installed. When the Project Manager came for his final assessment, we pointed out the many uneven sections of flooring, damages to the baseboards from the carpet installation, all he would say is weve been here multiple times, I dont know what to say, this is as good as it gets. The SUBS put holes in our walls bringing in their materials which they later patched incorrectly and can still be seen throughout. I will discourage everyone from using this company!! Our office has been under construction for 4 months with poor quality at best and all we get is thats as good as it gets. Here we are, expected to pay and sign a certificate of satisfaction yet the work remains incorrect & incomplete. They left trip hazards throughout.

My mold remediation job was thorough and efficient, and I felt like their team was very honest and fair.

The services provided were fine, but their billing was awful.They came to do a small sewage leak cleanup, and the tech was able to take care of it quickly/easily. No prices were given at the time of the visit, but when I asked, the tech advised that it would be close to the minimum, which after prompted, he elaborated would be a few hundred dollars.Upon leaving, he mentioned that hed like to leave a dehumidifier in the room to dry it out a bit(even though we told them it was being demoed by the installer in 24-48hrs). We shrugged and agreed.The bill came and included 2x the actual work hours, an emergency fee for coming out a day after being called during normal business hours, an extra $360 for rental of their dehumidifier. In short, a few hundred turned into a $1000 bill.After speaking with the personnel, they begrudgingly agreed to reduce the balance by approximately $100(which coincidently brought me just under the $100 off expenses over $1000 coupon I had...making it worthless).Bottom line, they did the work well enough, but unapologetically screwed us on price. Terrible customer service.

Total Restoration was not only good, they were excellent to work with throughout our restoration project from water damage. I would recommend them to everyone who needs a great local company to work with.

Becareful with their billing. We had a job done and they completed only 25% of the original job that was to be done and then billed for the full amount, they said they originally quoted wrong. We would have never used this company if we knew they werent going to complete the job as originally planned and still be billed full amount. Company is also very slow at returning phone calls. Zero stars, avoid them!I cannot recommend Total Restoration. If you want the work to be done professional, look for someone else. They use subcontractors who have unskilled workers and their work is unprofessional. We had fire damage on our metal shed, fence, gutters, window and siding in the back of our yard. All these things needed to be replaced and we got the contact to Total Restoration from our insurance agent, since they claim to be professional and specialized for these kinds of damages. The estimate came fast and they started the work on time. But since they started, they did everything wrong at the first time: They installed a single-hung window with a fixed screen instead a double-hung window with a sliding screen without our confirmation. Also they installed it not centered. I agreed to keep it but to center it since they had already the new siding installed, but I wasn’t happy. Later I recognized that this window wasn’t even for our climate zone. We also sealed the inside of the window by our self. The assembly of the metal shed (it was a kit with very detailed instructions) looked incorrect and had bended pieces, missing screws and washers and they missed to install the weather strip at the top of the roof and just threw it away. The siding was ok but there was a piece missing over top of the back door. They forgot to install tension wires on the top and bottom of the chain link fence and just digged the bottom of the fence into the ground. The space for the gate was to narrow so that they had to fix it. They installed the wrong size gutters (too small), they didn’t match the other gutters of our house. So they had to rip off them again and to install the correct size gutters. All these things needed to be fixed, some twice, some never got fixed. They smoked all time while they were working and there were cigarette buds everywhere at the ground. They also damaged our carport with their pickup truck and had to compensate the cost for the material for repair. There was no foreman or project manager to check on the work progress, not one time. When they thought they were done, the worker just left the work side. We received the invoice without a final inspection. I had to request and to force it. Finally the project manager came for the inspection and had for everything excuses or told us they will fix it. We waited 6 weeks for the revised invoice so that I had to request it too. This is very bad customer service.When we chose them to do the work (April 2017), there was no google review about this company and unfortunately we missed to check facebook.If they think all the fake 5-star reviews without a qualified comment will help their reputation, they are wrong.
