Rob and Enrique were in and out of the house throughout the week. They did a great job keeping me in the loop on what was going on and what they were doing. They were extremely professional and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Would certainly recommend this company and if you are lucky enough maybe youll get Rob and Enrique too!

Prior to me calling Blue River Restoration, I had another mold company in my home to gut my entire house and do mold remediation which turned out to be an absolute disaster. The 1st company cross contaminated my house by not properly containing areas, did not follow proper protocol, and was not at all professional. The mold test results for Stachybotrys were off the charts in the 5000s plus.After firing the 1st company, I called Blue River Restorations. I spoke to Seth, a manager with Blue River, and explained my situation. Seth came out the very next day to assess the situation. Seth clearly and patiently explained the best approach moving forward as well as answered all my questions. He knew after dealing with the first company that my trust in any company was gone so he put all details in writing for me.I hired Blue River after speaking to Seth. The day scheduled for remediation, Seth, Brian, Matt, Rob, and Enrique arrived. This team was so professional, followed proper protocol but more importantly understood how stressful this entire situation was for me they were so respectful and courteous.After Seth and his team completed remediation, I had an independent mold tester come in who I had been working with for almost a year. Seth and his team patiently waited approx. 2 week for my independent mold test results. The results came back at ZERO (0) for Stachybotrys (black mold).If in the future I ever have to hire another restoration company, hands down and without any doubt, it will be Blue River Restoration.I still have a long road ahead to restoring my home back to normal, but without these guys, the possibility of restoring would not have been possible at all.Thank you guys so much!!

Max and Brian showed up 15 minutes before their pointed time. They carefully explained what they would be doing to clean and remove the drywall with obvious mold. They went beyond that area and cleaned areas behind the original wall.Polite professional and skilled at their job.Cleaned everything up behind themselves when the job was done.Very satisfied with this service.

Our experience with Blue River was wonderful. They were responsive, professional, and courteous. Max and Rob did a great job fixing up our crawl space, and it was refreshing to get an invoice for much less than the original estimate. I had Blue River out to repair some water damage. They were on time, professional, and the charges were very fair. I had Casey come to my home and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. I asked a fair amount of questions about other things that he answered without hesitation. He also patched a few items up that were in addition to the scope of the work at no charge!! Great company.

So Sean was the man they put in charge of our claim with insurance. When the insurance company tried to get a hold of him, he refused to call them back. He refused to call us back. I contacted the home office that led to a phone call. He did get a leak detection out here, but the man only wanted to sell Anderson windows. His report stated it was maintenance, which it is not. Regardless Sean threw us under the bus. At one point the insurance company was going to fix our door that water is pouring in, but he made sure he told the 4th adjuster on our case that this was maintenance. The lack of customer service is beyond mind boggling. We wanted for them to be our contractor. They were not interested. Even got a follow up call from a Devin just telling me our claim was still open and what did I want him to do. Made it clear we had to pay cash. Told him about our experience and he said so what do u want me to do. He was so rude it brought me to tears. Why cant people treat u with kindness. Will NEVER use this company. I would highly advise against it!

We recently had a water leak inside our home. As there is no good time during the year for an event like this, December 20th by far wasn’t the best. Not only was it 5 days before Christmas, we also had a child headed for the surgery center. When it rains it pours, just not always inside your home.Once Jacob & his crew arrived, they got straight to work. The crew was polite, professional, courteous & spot on what needed to be done. They were able to not only secure our home from further damage but also start the remediation process. These guys worked together as if they had been doing so for years. Through the holidays, the guys would still call or stop by to check the progress & make sure we had whatever we needed. They would even check on our sons healing progress.If you’re reading this, it may have been raining in your life also. Honestly, I hope not, but know these guys are out there ready to help you & your family get life back to normal.

Brad has been absolutely amazing. He has gone above and beyond to make sure things are exactly as we want and is always very thorough. We aren’t even finished with all of our remodeling but what has been done has been more than we could have asked for. If I could give this company more than 5 stars it would be because of the hard work and precise technique water technician Matthew performed in my basement. It was a late call to Blue River Restoration so I didnt think anyone would be out until morning, but within the hour I had this gentleman at my front door ready to take on the flood in my basement. He set up equipment quickly and got the ball rolling all while paying close attention to detail and keeping me in the loop with everything going on. Thanks to Blue River Restoration company and their hard working staff my basement is back to being fully functional and enjoyable.

He always did a great job. There were a couple times when he took care of things for us that caused extra work for him. He performed each task with an excellent attitude and great workmanship. Just terrible. Blue River responded fairly quickly to my water leak for remediation, but the experience with their construction side was one of the worst imaginable experiences Ive ever had. Constant workmanship errors led to additional damage to my home on three separate occasions, including improper repair of a shower line that created a leak in my crawlspace. The worst thing was, it wasnt even a necessary repair: despite two looks, they couldnt figure out the reason my shower wasnt working (after theyre replaced the wall without making sure everything was functional) was because theyd cut the lines for no reason! Amazing!Before that, though, they took three weeks to order a valve part to fix a valve that wasnt even broken, which involved re-opening my showers wall. One day their contractor showed up, left for 7 hours, and came back to tell me they would need to come back three days later. You can buy that shower valve at literally any plumbing supply store.He fixed it, but didnt let the grout settle, which caused my shower wall to look like someone had punched it. It was at this point Blue River finally sent out another contractor.Constant screwups made a one-week repair into a five-month ordeal that has only gotten worse when I was sent a bill because they didnt bother cashing the check I wrote them and, I quote, Have no idea where it went, the guy who worked here on your job quit. An embarrassing and awful company to work for. Just shameful.

Brad & Casey did a great job with repairs at my house after a water leak! They worked hard, did good work, & got along well with the dogs. I’d recommend them to others.

I can not thank Blue River Restoration enough for their quick response to the fire that was started in my garage. Their team arrived quickly and got to work right away. They were very understanding that I needed this done as soon as possible and how devastating the fire was and they treated me like family and not just another job to be done.

I called to get a quote and the estimator, Jacob, came to our home, stating I’d get a quote in a couple of days. Five days later I called asking where my quote was and he stated he would get back to me. He never did and 12 days later I called the office and asked for the Estimator’s name and his managers name. I was told the manager, Randy, and I would have to call him on a new cell phone number. About 45 minutes later Randy called me. When I asked why I still don’t have a quote he said it’s because Blue River is not in the business of giving estimates if they don’t think they’ll get the business. I said why did you think you won’t get the business? He stumbled and fumbled and said well, your wife is allergic to mold and we’d need a waiver. I said what’s that got to do with getting a quote? He asked “we’ll have you got other quotes?” I said what’s that got to do with getting a quote? He said well the insurance company normally requires three estimates! I said what’s that got to do with me getting your quote? Bottom line I never got the quote! Not sure if it’s because I’m old, fat, black, Jewish, tall, white, a musician, or what!!! But I would never deal with Jacob or Randy at Blue River ever again. I guess they have too much business for my $28,000 job.......

Blue River Restoration was a life saver! I had water damage to a rental property I own that was occupied at the time. They were quick to respond, professional to deal with, and competitive with pricing. They worked directly with my insurance company so I didnt have to hassle with it too! I will use them for all my reconstruction needs in the future!

When we had recurrent water leaks in our basement, we contacted several places for help. Blue River Restoration was BY FAR the most thorough and helpful. They not only cleaned up the water, but helped us find the source for the leak, too. We contacted them twice and both times they (Bobby and Cole) were at our house within a few hours. They even gave us recommendations on what we could do ourselves to save some money. Would highly recommend!

Blue River came out and helped extract the water from our basement, even after they found out Progressive refused to pay for anything. They still helped my family repair our basement without charging us anything for the work they already did. They also allowed us to use their humidifier for a couple of days with no charge. They are a great company and I couldn’t recommend them enough to people who are in need of their services.

The job was in July and August, 2019.Blue River was hired by my insurance company. Blue River subcontracted the inspector for my job, they subcontracted the people that put together the bid, and subcontracted the crew that came to do the work. All of their subcontracters turned out pretty well for me, however for such a new company I would think that they would do more of their own work. The first part of my job I dealt only with Devin Bohlander. He was beyond excellent, professional available. Devon is the only reason this company even got two stars from me. Even when he was on vacation he answered his phone and didnt make me leave messages. I never once had to leave a message on his phone, he always picked up.The head of the crew that did my inside work was Sean. Totally unprofessional, hung up on me on the phone after it took me days to get ahold of him and he never returned my calls, messages, or emails. I finally called Devon when Sean would not respond to any of my attempts to get ahold of him. Sean never did come for inspection. His crew was fine, he shouldnt be allowed to deal with customers whatsoever.In dealing with an incident on the outside when my roof was fixed (headed by Devon), the crew that worked on my roof was excellent and explained patiently and calmly everything I asked. There was something that went wrong and Devin had someone out within hours of the same day I called to report a problem, to look at it and made a temporary fix and made arrangements to fix it.The guy who ended up in charge of this extra repair was Adam H. Initially Adam told me it would be 3 days before a crew could start the work and would be done in one day. A week and a half later I repeatedly left phone messages with no reply from Adam only a recording on his phone. Finally I sent an email and after several days he replied to that with the excuse that the company was having troubles with one of their crews, and he would get back to me soon. There was a period of time in between that, and I finally called Devon who I realized was the only responsible/accountable/available person at Blue River. Two of Adams emails promised me a phone call the same day of the emails. NO contact at all. If Blue River is interested I have all of the emails dates and times. The CREW that Adam hired for the repair consisted of one Mexican man that I suspect was an illegal because he spoke very little English and understood less, who brought his non-speaking English wife along with him. A $1,000 job took an hour. Adam explained that the price included paying the inspector, the estimator, and all of the subcontracting that took place before the job was done.Shortly after the job was finally completed, I learned that Devin Bolander had given his two week notice and was leaving the company. This man was the saving grace for my opinion of this company, and without him there, I will never do business with Blue River restorations again, and would highly recommend against people dealing with them.The crews that they hire to do the jobs did excellent work ... Total new roof, inside water damage, and the incident that needed repaired. These workers were hired by Blue River. They were independent contractors. Blue River should not get the good reviews that the contractors that did the work completed.All of the reviews Ive read praise Blue River for the job well done. Blue River itself did not do the work. They outsourced to independent contractors. Dont give Blue River the credit at all. You could hire these contractors without using Blue River.Ill make my opinion of Blue River known every chance I get.Karyn Roseberry, Kokomo IndianaA week after my roof was put on, water was pouring into my liv rm through my ceiling. With all the heavy rain weve had the last few weeks, we had a pipe burst. It damaged part of my bathroom wall. I called Blue River Restoration and they responded back to me within 45 minutes and was out to inspect the same day. They repaired the damage and cleaned up after the work was done. The gentleman, were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
