Only hire this company as a last resort. They put up a good front but once the work begins, the excuses start, if you receive communication at all.Our ceiling collapsed, so we requested three estimates and Moore was our choice. The job started off great, but derailed soon after.The project manager had hired an incompetent drywall contractor that completely bungled the repair but supposedly completed it, after a couple of tries. He tried to tell my wife that because we have an older home, built in 1971, that this was the best it was going to be. But when he was doing a walkthrough with me, his story changed. They had to bring in another company to complete it. It was almost two months from start to finish, with more problems and excuses than would be reasonably expected.

During 2020, we had a shed fire that resulted in significant water damage throughout our Indiana home. Having never navigated a fire-loss we hired Moore Restoration based on the knowledge and transparency of their team. They managed the fire, smoke and water mitigation and then the entire rebuilding process. This involved a new roof, new rafters, rebuilding the garage, replacing all of the flooring, many of the walls, and a completely new kitchen. Moore was responsive to questions, knowledgeable about options, and helpful in navigating our claim. They finished the house late last week and it is just beautiful. We are so pleased with the work. I would hire Moore again without hesitation.

Moore employees did what they wanted to do to my house. Not what I specifically walked thru with Larry Hubble the estimator. I walked Larry through the house telling him exactly what I wanted done. He wrote the estimate. The project manager Brad Waite came out and we walked through the job. No problems. All in agreement. Then the employees came. I specifically went through what was going to happen. None of the employees had even read their work orders before they got there they all admitted to me. The project manager spent maybe……maybe 10 minutes at the site while they were working because he was just too busy. I had to work in the afternoon but that morning I came home to check on progress 3 times. Each time the roofers were on my porch on the shade. Then The project manager had the nerve to send me a form asking me to fill it out that says the work was completed before they ever even finished the job. Then when I came home for the day I found they had done nothing near what the work order was what the estimate was or what I had paid half of in advance. I went through the estimate line by line adding up what they did. It was over $900 of work they did not do. Then they kept 20% of that difference because of wording in their contract. The same contract that is voided by them not doing what they agreed. I’ve spoke to 3 different people at the company, sent multiple emails to them, asked to speak to a supervisor, manager, and owner. Not a single response. I should also add that I went ahead and paid them what they said I owed them just so I can have this horrible experience behind me. I have worked construction before so I know what I was looking at and what I wanted done. I feel so badly for all the people that they have done work for over the years that have no construction knowledge. If my experience is any indication of the way this company does business, they likely didn’t get what they expected, paid for, or agreed upon in the contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

A vehicle struck the corner of our home, extensively damaging everything from the brick, wall framing, to the garage door. Moore Restoration came in quickly to secure the job site and damaged area. They quickly provided estimates for repairs and once chosen, were on site and working within days of the incident. The work was all first rate and and done correctly the first time. They did good work, but it was a small job and shouldn’t have taken 2 months to complete. The original project manager quit & didn’t schedule anything, so my job was a month out from mitigation to get the repairs done. Once it was started, it took about a week to complete. Could have been done in 3 weeks if the original project manager had done his job. New project manager & crew did an excellent job.

Moore Restoration did a great job restoring my condo after a water leak left me with thousands of dollars of damage. They worked almost seamlessly with my insurance company to make sure my repairs were taken care of with as little impact to my life as possible. Although the project took longer than I would have liked, this was largely due to product delivery delays, rather than any scheduling issues with Moore subcontractors.My project involved ceiling, floor, cabinet and fixture repairs to multiple rooms and levels and the coordination of all this was handled expertly by Dale, my project manager. He was very patient in addressing my questions and quick to respond when I wanted to make changes. Overall I give Moore high marks, and I give Dale top marks. Highly recommended.

Moore took care of cleanup when we had a burst water pipe in our kitchen. Arrived quickly, explained what needed to be done and took good care of our home while cleaning up the mess.

They got to us within a couple hours. The guys were professional, explained the process and documented starting and completion of the water removal and drying of carpet and wall. Communication was excellent with all the people we worked with. They did the water mitigation only.

I had a black water situation that was basically completely something that was horrible for me. And we took care of 90% of it and called Moore’s to see what else we needed to do. And instead of them trying to just complete the service etc. He talked me through the remainder of the small things that we needed to do and even though I offered to try to compensate them. He wouldn’t take anything instead he just asks that we consider them in the future. What a phenomenal service. The gentleman spent 10 minutes 15 minutes on the phone with me and took my stress level from incredibly high to practically nonexistent and I am so ever grateful. Thank you Champ!!!!

We had a basement floor that had carpet glued down it needed to be scrubbed. The crew came in and was quick and efficient and did a great job. We were able to paint it and get the house ready to sell. Easy to work with Moore.

We had minimal water damage and its been nearly 6 months working with Moore - and the work is still not done. There has been little project management and the quality of the work has not been acceptable over and over. The wrong color went on the walls, the wrong tile was ordered and delivered. Their subcontractors have not shown up on time on multiple occasions and weve nearly had to beg the project manager to complete the work. While we expected Moore to help us with project management, my husband and I have consistently been the ones to help plan the timeline, raising our own valid concerns (i.e., can what appears to be 4 days of work occur in 2? how can you hang cabinetry just hours after painting?). They have been sloppy workers, too, leaving the house dusty and dirty each time. Ive worked with home professionals who practiced much more care and forethought by far. I would NOT recommend them.The only good thing that I can say is that testing and estimating was thorough.

Moore restoration brought in two awesome subs, one to fix the leak in the roof, and one group to fix the ceiling and paint the room that was damaged by the roof leak. The roofers went above and beyond to find the leak and insure it wouldn’t leak again. They were very considerate of our grass and didn’t throw shingles and other debris on the lawn.The painting crew covered all the room contents and walls with thin plastic, fixed the ceiling and painted the walls and were leaving before 5 o’clock! Plus they covered the carpet in the room and all the hallways! They did an incredible job, we couldn’t be happier. Moore Restoration went the extra mile to insure our satisfaction.

I just want to say that Moore Restoration has been great. We have a flooded finished bedroom and bathroom in our lower level. Moore Restoration came out at 10:30 at night on a phone call. I have certainly learned a lot about water damage and abatement and mitigation. Make no mistake, a flood is an absolute pain in the rear and it is not a fast process to get back to even, even before restoration starts. But there are so many preliminary issues before you can even start to effect repairs ad replacement...., clothing damage, effected drywall and insulation removal, continued monitoring of moisture contents with associated equipment on the effected studs and sill plates. Then the clothing has to be inventoried, and stored off sight to prevent cross contamination. Same with the damaged furniture. Those things for which you are going to make a claim against your insurance have to memorialized in a way that is usable with your insurance company.The good news is that Moore Restoration is set up for every aspect and piece that needs to be done. They clearly know what the insurance companies want and the format and detail in which the need it to facilitate the Insurance Claim part of this. It is also clear that Moore Restoration enjoys a good reputation with my insurance company as being a reputable company and a known quantity. to the insurance industry.We are still in processing, but Moore Restoration has people and equipment and logistics for each component of the process. They are diligent in their follow through and professional in their interactions. Like i said, the process is just terrible, and there is simply no getting around that, but my engagement of Moore Restoration was the right move. They do it all and make a disaster as good as it is going to get. I could not be happier in my selection of them.

Moore Restoration couldnt have been nicer or more efficient. My estimator Chad Morton assessed the problem, gave me the estimate of repairs within 24 hours and coordinated the work to be completed with my insurance company. The project manager Dale Schafer contacted me immediately upon receiving this job. He coordinated times with me to inspect the property to look at the work that was assigned. Dale had all work material dropped off a day before the clean up crew was to begin so they would be ready to go. The clean up crew arrived at 0730 to begin work. All work was completed within 2 days. Due to animal damage the job required old roof insulation to be removed, the area to be sprayed with anti-microbial, new insulation to be blown in, soffit replaced and interior painting of ceiling. The clean up crew took great care to keep all work areas clean and free of debris. I strongly recommend Moore Restoration.Eric L

Moore Restoration came out to my home the same day I called them when my sump pump malfunctioned. Very professional and got right to it with drying out my basement. Took great care to seal off the rest of the house. I would definitely recommend Moore Restoration and their mitigation team!

We hired Moore for mitigation/restoration services after a small leak was detected under our kitchen sink in July of 2019. We were very happy with the initial mitigation services we received (drying out the water damage and making sure there was no mold)--but unfortunately, thats the only good thing I can say about this company.Our restoration project was completed in February of 2020 (more than six months later), and I use the term completed generously because work that was included in the original estimate (and work that our insurance PAID for) was never actually done. We are now in the process of filing a BBB complaint--but for now, I want to post a review to warn anybody thinking about hiring this company to run. Run far, far away.The project manager assigned to our restoration work was completely incompetent from the onset, and most of the contractors he hired to handle the work frequently showed up late or did not show up at all. In one instance, we were left without water/plumbing in our kitchen for six weeks (after being told it would be a few days) after a miscommunication between our project manager and the plumbing company. During this time, we had to wash dishes in our upstairs bathroom sink.In addition to having no respect for our time, we often had to have contractors come back to fix shoddy or downright unsafe work. For example, the granite on our breakfast bar overhang was installed incorrectly and was visibly unlevel (pens, pencils, etc. would literally roll right off), which had me very concerned about safety. Moores estimator tried downplaying it--assuring us that there were metal brackets reinforcing the granite and there was probably not much the granite company would be able to do to level it without breaking the stone, anyway.The stone company ended up coming back out to re-level and reinforce the countertops (still no explanation as to why this wasnt done properly in the first place)-- but they also confirmed with me that there were, in fact, NO metal brackets supporting the granite as our estimator assured us there were. This is just one of many examples where Moore blatantly lied to or misled us.We were also frustrated with how often we had to be the ones to be proactive and reach out to contractors, get appointments scheduled, etc. It truly seemed to defeat the purpose of hiring a restoration company in the first place. There were many occasions where we couldnt get in touch with our project manager and had to contact vendors/contractors ourselves. There were also instances where *we* thought of things that these so-called professionals did not (e.g. maybe those holes in the drywall need to be patched before you try to install a new backsplash?).I could go on and on here...but suffice to say that our experience with Moore was so terrible that we had to start a Word document to keep track of all the issues we encountered with them. From wasting countless hours of our time waiting on contractors who never showed up to having our project manager go completely MIA (apparently he is no longer with the company), the entire process was beyond frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anybody and regret that we ever trusted them with this project.

I called Moore Restoration at the recommendation of a friend after my puppy was diagnosed with parvo. I was very worried about bringing him home from the vet and him getting sick again. Their Advanced Services division explained that they use SteraMist to kill bacteria and viruses in the air and on surfaces. The technicians came in and sprayed throughout the entire house. As soon as I walked through the door I noticed a difference as the house seemed cleaner. I felt a huge relief when I was able to bring my puppy home that he wasnt going to get sick again because the virus was gone. Everyone at Moore was very helpful and knowledgeable and the service was amazing. I highly recommend Moore Restoration!

Its been nothing but poor communication and a very timely project. We had a slight amount of mold under our kitchen sink- they took apart our counters and removed the mold all in one day which was fantastic- but to put everything back together has been another story. Its going on a month and we are STILL waiting for them to return and finish the job. There was a 3 week period where no one was returning our calls at all, then after we spoke with someone they scheduled our cabinets and floor to be redone today. They came this morning and did half the job (pretty much just the floor) and now were not expecting them back until tomorrow (we cant even use our kitchen sink/dishwasher). Very poor service in my opinion.

I had extensive water damage and was particularly concerned about being exposed to bacteria since a health issue had resulted in my having a compromised immune system. Moore secured the space to prevent air from the basement coming upstairs. The Team sent in secured my personal belongings and did an amazing job of cleaning. When I initially became aware of the problem, I had difficulty breathing while in the basement. After the clean-up, I did not experience difficulty breathing.Moores Team went above and beyond meeting the specials needs resulting from my health condition.

I had a pretty big flood in my house due to a burst pipe. There was water damage everywhere except the master bedroom. The cabinets had to be replaced and drywall cut out and redone and repainted. Moore made it easy from start to finish, they came in and dried everything and replaced all that needed replaced in a timely and professional manner. They found all of the damage and took care of it quickly. I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. I would also use them myself again if I ever need to (let’s hope not). It’s nice to feel like you are being so well taken care of when dealing with a stressful situation like this one.

So i had some flooding issues in our basement recently. I had done business w Serv Pro in the past but had issues with getting a return call to do needed work. I looked at the reviews for Moore and just like anyone else who would read, a bit skeptical to say the least. I called to get an idea of who i was potentially going to be doing business with.My initial contact was pleasant, information was exchanged and Chad, the assigned project manger was in touch immediately. He came out to do a preliminary assessment of the damage and the required work. He provided a worst case scenario as I was concerned due to a cap on my insurance coverage and potential out of pocket costs to fix. The communication between my insurance company, Chad and myself was timely and comprehensive. Chad has a vast amount of hands on industry knowledge about all things remediation.They got to work immediately with onsite equipment. The remediation team I worked with ( Jacob and Trestin) were professional and great communicators. Excellent customer service skills, polite, knowledgeable and my dogs liked them. The Moore team made every effort to make an unpleasant event as uneventful to us as possible.

Stay away!! Do not call. Had water damage and took five months to complete work. Several delays, work not done for whole weeks at a time. Communication is very very poor and starts with the Operations Manager who does not communicate with Project Managers. One would think in with all the devices we have to communicate this would not be a issue with a large company. Very very poor management of work. Stay away and find someone else or you will be sorry! Find someone else. Your better off finding your own contractors to finish the work.

Moore Restoration has came to the rescue again! Our family has used Moore’s services last year when our garage ceiling leaked. Jeremy was our project manager. Jermey was thorough, professional, and rounded up a great hard working and talented crew to fix our garage ceiling!For that reason, this year, we decided to stick with Moore Restoration when the wood trimming of our garage was rotting. Also, a short brick wall attached to our porch was leaning due to the foundation of the house and land settling over the years. We called on Moore Restoration in hopes of having Jeremy as our project manager again (since he has definitely gained our trust). However, due to how busy he was, we were assigned a new project manager. In which, I took some time off work so that he can come out to assess the house before starting the project. His name was Ron (I believe), very nice guy! However, some reason when I called to get an update when the project would start, I found out Ron was no longer with the business. I was a little confused because no one had called us. However, the VP of Moore sent me a message saying he will reassign our project and it will be completed.Our new project manager became Doug. Doug came out to assess the house (I had to take another half day off work). However, I was so glad he came out. He had great reasoning— he simply didn’t want to just start the project with someone else’s notes! That was the first sign that he was also very thorough. He could’ve easily done that since the house was already technically assessed by the previous project manager.Anyway- Doug stayed in touch with me EVERY step of the way. He texted before someone showed up at the house. He called with questions and updates. He was willing and hard working. My parents actually grew very fond of him as a person, as he is a wonderful man! He also sent out a great crew to complete the work. Everything is sturdy and looks really great!Even though this time around, the project didn’t start as smooth as it did the first time, we understand life happens. People transfer jobs or have life changes. At the end of the day, the project was complete with great quality work....& we had great people working on our home!Once again, I was very satisfied with Moore Restoration! I will recommend them for any family and friends...and to you if you want reliable, respectful, hardworking people to repair your home! :)

Look guys, Im only a teenager, but my mom works at Moore Restoration .inc and as I have had plenty of experience with helping her on jobs I can tell you it is kind of chaotic, yes but I can tell you it is way worth it. And it is chaotic to write the estimates and give people a cheap price. They dont price you high just for fun they have their reasons, like some people are off the clock when they get an emergency call to come to a job site, etc. plus water damage and things like that arent cheap so dont expect it to be. Mold damage is probably the cheapest thing you can get from them besides treating it might cost more depending on how bad it is. I definitely recommend Moore Restoration inc. because they pull through no matter how long it takes to get all the permits, or all of the paperwork done. Youve got to understand people have their reasons they dont do it just for fu!!! Definitely call Moore Restoration inc. its well worth it⛈🌪🔥🏡⌚️🛠⚙👌🏼👍🏼

Great proffesional services

Absolutely the worst customer service weve ever recieved. We had water damage and they can and tore up our floor to sry and dehumidify. 2 days later we go to remove the remaining floor and its still wet. The company came back out to dry but didnt offer any help or take responsibility for their poor performance the first time. NEVER EVER USE

We had water damage to our condo and Moore Restoration had handled our initial restoration process; such as, tearing out our tiles, concrete, and drying the water. First, let me start off by saying that Moore Restoration called my home phone number (never did I give them a number to call) from a private number to solicit their business as soon as the problem happened. We eventually had them come and do the initial work for us since the condo below us was using them anyways. (Which they promptly charged us for emergency calls ( $140) during their business hours. funny how that works out.) They came into our house and damaged our counter top and walls. They left without saying anything about causing the damage or trying to fix the damage they caused. They never answered any of our calls or emails. They placed fans inside our house to dry the water, which did not do the trick, so they brought over more fans and charged us for the extra time it took instead of just installing the fans initially. Overall I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They GOUGED us on prices and its just ridiculous they can get away with it. $400 for 3 fans for 3 days, and $600!! for a dehumidifier for 3 days!!! Just find someone else to do your restoration.

I had a water leak that I didnt know about and cause some major water damage I had to contact my insurance company they advised I needed to contact a restoration company, I as people who they would recommend and they stated to call Moore Restoration, I am glad I did they came out reviewed the damage and advise what was needed to fix it the employees were professional about the work and answered my questions and the estimator even worked with the insurance company and that took a lot of stress off me Thank You Moore Restoration and I would suggest if you ever have a water leak or other issues give Moore Restoration a call you will not regret it
