Tyler and Michele helped moving here seamless. The community at the Congress is unmatched. The move in process was so easy. I love living here!!
It is a pleasure to work with the leasing office at Congress at Library Square. They are responsive, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The property is a great location and has the perfect amount of amenities. I love the extra touches in the units such as the walls being painted different colors. I can tell that they put extra touches in to the features in this property.
I have been a tenant in this building for quite sometime. Overall, my experience has been great. Had a few issues but they were addressed and taken care of in a timely manner. The building is cleaned daily and the maintenance team responds promptly when you put in work orders. Also, there are courtesy officers available whenever you need them. Normally, I don’t utilize the leasing office often, but when I do they handle my questions and concerns promptly.
I was going to write a long review about our entire experience here but I’m not really one to spread negativity and I know that everyone’s experience is different with these kinds of things. For some people I’m sure this place is great. But one thing I feel morally obligated to share is that in the Congress, apartment 323 has a leak in the air conditioning unit. They are not fixing it, just refilling the anti-freeze every 4-6 weeks. This means every 4-6 weeks you will realize your air conditioning has stopped working and then you will have to call maintenance to have it refilled again. The building is aware of this leak and they will NOT inform you of it before you sign the lease. The leak has been there since the tenant before us and they failed to tell us that. And we only found out because someone in the building (I don’t want to say who so they don’t get in trouble) mentioned off handedly that it had been like that for a year. They were NEVER going to tell us. It took us a week and a half of wasted electricity to figure out the air wasn’t working as we thought we were doing something wrong with the system for the air and didn’t know we should expect a problem. And this pre-damaged unit is NOT discounted on rent. Also please, please make sure you read the part on your lease about breaking the lease early before you sign. Our mistake in not double checking that cost us thousands even though our reason for leaving was covid related. There were no exceptions and I was told they don’t make exceptions for anything at all - including sudden loss of job, mental illness, family illness, fatal illness, family emergency- nothing. We were told there are no circumstances that would allow a break of lease without fully paying out so make sure you are 100% able to stay there for the full term of the lease or find a place with a more forgiving policy. And make sure you factor in the worst case scenario because we hadn’t expected to need to leave when we signed either.
Amazing leasing office staff! Michele worked with me and even stayed after hours to show me an apartment. The apartments are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and quiet. I am definitely impressed and applying!
The elevator has been down for five days. Not one word from management on why or when to anticipate repairs will be complete. This trash has been outside my apartment door for longer than that. When I asked the office about it, they said they cant talk to me about other residents. I didnt want to talk about another resident- I wanted the apartment complex to clean it up since the resident clearly is not going to.
I wish I could award this place with 0 stars. My girlfriend and I have been living here for the past 8-9 months. There is only one elevator that is either always down or reserved. So plan on using the stairs a lot. We have also emailed the front desk about multiple items many times and have not received any kind of response back. We have been debating breaking our lease for the past 2-3 months because we just do not like anything about this facility. Do not waste your time scheduling a tour, do not waste your money on this overly priced apartments, and do not waste your energy moving in here where there are plenty of places downtown to live at an affordable cost with lots more square footage.
I applied holiday week which should allow for 3 business days for me to submit my financial information. They kept giving meIncorrect phone numbers and never answering the phone ultimately pocketing 50$ of the $200 deposit. This is a chain. They are not responsive and didn’t return my calls within their 3 business day time limit, delayed sending the remainder of my deposit for a month and a half too. Slimey.
Horrible customer service. They have a main line with no one to answer during business hours. Only the leasing office answers and are no help with any resident questions. Be wary
It is conveniently located across the street form the Indianapolis Central Library, and has lots of accommodations like two BBQ grills, ping pong, shuffle puck, an outdoor lounge area in the middle of the building, study & meeting rooms, a fitness room, and more. Often the parking lot door doesnt pick up the signal from our cars parking key, making us linger at the door for a while until it finally opens. Other than that its a great place to live.
You will pay too much money for not feeling welcome, seeing a rude and disrespectful staff and the manager herself, also for not using the studying room as much as u need, and for staying at the lounge. Dont waste your time, money, and your comfort here.
The office staff was amiable, and the amount of amenities they have to offer is impressive. They have a rooftop terrace that not only has a beautiful view of Downtown but would be the perfect place to watch the parades from. Although I decided to stay at my current community, I would consider this property in the future. I only wish that they had a swimming pool!
My dogs love the private outdoor park. Office staff was very friendly and helpful with my move in process.
