We love our Beechmill home! New basketball court and playground are very appreciated by my children!!

I have no idea what all these posts are talking about. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place ESPECIALLY the staff. Olivia and Tony are great. Any time I’ve ever needed anything they get to it immediately. The apartment itself is nice and up to date. The grounds are kept neat and clean. If you’re looking for a good place to call home with better people running it I would highly recommend to anyone.

Cockroach infested!!!! I have family that moved in and they moved the refrigerator last night - hundreds of roaches were coming out the baseboards!!!! We called the emergency maintenance number and no one returned our call. Finally after calling again today someone returned my call and told me that the Pest company comes out on Thursdays!!!! HUNDREDS of Roaches and my family is expected to stay there! I did contact the board of health. PATHETIC!

Just moved in 2 weeks ago. Apartment is very clean and up to date on appliances. Fireplaces are included in some units which is a nice feature. Layouts are very homey and have a comfortable feel to them. Internet services are fiber optic capable which is a must if youre a gamer! Property manager is extremely friendly and will help you get settled in with no hassle. Maintenance is also friendly and happy to help with any issues or requests you have.

Great place to live. Community is safe a quiet, apartments are updated and homey, office staff and maintenance are some of the best I’ve seen. They always take care of all of my needs. The property is always very well maintained and clean. Emergencies are always responded to very swiftly. I can’t say enough great things about this community!

This property currently managed by Birge & Held and Management talks like they are doing me a favor renting the apartment, never tries to listen or understand your issues/problems. Maintenance guys cant find solutions. Property manager hung phone on me when i was complaining about the issue other day. Outdated air conditioners that clearly dont work and causes higher utility bills. Recently there have being multiple car break-ins. If they come short on their services they are very valid but if there is anything on our end its like hell broke loose. They will give you all sort of excuses but never listen to your concerns, our down floor neighbors facing water leaks issues, maintenance guy broke the pipe while trying to repair leak and we have to wait 3 days without water in bathroom and hot water in the house. Still water leaks happening so management gave us notice of a day that there will be contractor coming next day and clear the bathroom for the work, they replaced part of wall and instructed us to not to use water for 2-3 days. We cooperated all that time period, they still not able to fix leaks and showing up every week to have a look. Maintenance guys dont wear masks when they visit apartments for the work. What ever you might save on rent you might have to pay it on utility bills and their unexplained water and sewer charges.

The staff here is great and always makes sure they always meet your needs. Maintenance team are always on point and at work. Travis is really great supportive of your needs and will get the job done. Apartments are remodeled with great back patio views. The atmosphere overall is great. Im excited about were I am living at.Good job Beechmill team!!

If youre looking for an apartment complex that cares about you and your lifestyle and living this is not the place for you. Outdated air conditioners that clearly dont work. Hence why they have some new and some that are 30 years old. And when yours doesnt work properly they tell you that its fine. Stay away from this place youve been warned! Edited: the people who responded to this message are NOT the owners. These are the same people that work at the office who tell you the air conditioners work fine. $150 electric bill and the unit will not bring the apartment down below 75. On most days not just the hot ones. In my previous apartment with 10 year old ac unit on a 100 degree weather day i had no problems. They have been contacted and have had the chance to Do the right thing and refuse to. REPLACE YOUR OLD UNITS. Just because it turns on and blows air doesnt change the amount of money it cost to run and Im still not comfortable..Again. Stay away. You have been warned.!!!!!

Apartments are good and located in convenient place. Barbara from leasing office is very patient and helped us by giving keys on moving date even though we reached late due to heavy rain and traffic. She understood the situation and helped up on request. Also we expected washer and dryer in unit as shown in website, but it is common for building.

I really dont understand all the hate on here for management/maintenance. Management pretty much held our hand through the whole process and even decided to install brand new carpet without us requesting it. Barb has treated us like kin, she even called IPL and set up my Indiana power account - just going above and beyond what her job asks of her. Maintenance has come within a day of each request and promptly replaced or fixed any issues we have found as we moved in. Definitely a 5-star start for Beechmill Apartments.

Roach infestation

I stayed here for around 1 yr. Very worst. No maintenance in community, Not a friendly staff, Maintenance requests are not resolved even after 2 months of reporting.

Travis, the maintenance man, is quick and efficient. He and the rest of the office staff, Hillary and Barbara, are always friendly and helpful. Our apartment is beautiful and I couldnt feel more at home.

Apartment is ok but staff is not good. They don’t have skill people. Be it manager, or maintenance guys they can’t solve problems. They can’t fix door and door is coming and falling down and they fix next hour it’s again broken. Management please change maintenance staff at least if you can’t change leasing manager and office staff. At least get skilled staff

This place is so wonderful and peaceful, so many people enjoying all the trees and walking. The playground is wonderful. Office people are helpful, maintenance is kind.

Hi,We see new management striving for betterment & prosperity .Request you to look into children play area, a lot can be fixed here .Appreciate if you could add better playground equipment and you should definitely think of rubber mulch for childrens safety.Also the existing Benches & Gazebos should be allowed to retire now.Make the first impression the best :-)Good Luck to the Management !!Thanks

Pathetic services, maintenance and apartment conditions..they have recently increased almost $110 - $120 as rent for almost all apartments. This amount is not worth, better go to some good society and stay safe and get what you pay for.

We have been staying in Beechmill apartment from last 4 years and seen 2 different management working here. New management seems to be doing nice work in remodeling the apartments and changing old signboards. I am also happy that there are no recent theft incidents (Almost one and half years). They still need to work on faster resolutions of maintenance work. It took almost 10 days in my case for a maintenance guy to visit us and after 2-3 reminders. Here I would like to thank the maintenance guy Cody who was nice and listened to our gas stove problem and resolved the issue perfectly.

Love it here. service guy cody came into my apartment took care of a leak i had with the washroom was very polite and understanding. made sure everything i needed was taken care of, he really went the extra mile and fixed a few other things i had issues with.

Pathetic service!! Last month I was on vacation, maintenance team fixed something in bathroom in my absence. They break the wall area for some purpose but they missed to fix it. I still raised service request 10 days back for there miss, still no response. I made call 2 times to leasing office, but they don’t have any ETA. Sounds like these guys are trained to just collect rent and penalty if rent delayed. Sometimes bugs are coming out of wall. Not sure, who should I contact in such situation.

My experience at Beechmill has been wonderful! There are a lot of people who are cowards and turn to the internet to say bad things and lie when they dont get what they want. This is very sad. If you dont like it just move out! I am sure you are not perfect. What you give in life you get back. Stop being so rude and impatient and get a life!! Go for a walk to get rid of your stress and stop your lies. Keep up the good work Beechmill. Be happy to be in America!

I have been staying here for last 2 years. Only advantage is near to US31 and mall and shopping area.- Apartment wise it very poor for the rate you pay.- Apartment management team never ever hear your complaints and they act their own. E.g water bill increase- Maintenance super super slow. You need to wait one month to get maintenance guy come into to take a look at the repair or appliance. Because every time you put in a request you will hear we are under staffed. How come the same answer for 2 years.???????

This is a very good apartment complex pretty close to Downtown,Indy,The leasing consultants(Megan/Angie) are really very knowledgeable and helpful.One thing which you will like the most is everything is very near by.If you are looking to live in a very friendly and economical apartment I would rate it to be the best in Indianapolis.The leasing options are also very flexible.Do not think twice.Go for it if you are planning to shift to Indy

I lived here from August 2012 - August 2013. It was my first apartment, and I loved it! The neighborhood was really quiet, my neighbors were quiet for the most part. The office staff was always really helpful. I put in a maintenance request and it did take a while for it to be fixed, but it wasnt urgent, so I didnt worry about it too much. Everything went really smooth for me when I lived there. I only left because I switched job locations, and living on the southside was no longer convenient

This could be a very nice place to live, but they dont take care of the property inside or out. The maintenance manager is very lazy. I have never been late on my rent but I did a lot of complaining and called the corporate office a couple of times until I got stuff fixed. Now they refuse to renew my lease with no explanation. Not that I want to stay here but I hate moving. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. If they would get some good management it could have great potential.

I lived in Beechmill apartments between 2012-2015, I saw the standard drop like a cliff over the years. There were complaints of 2-3 burglaries in last few months, even I have been victim of car break-in. Some of my friends were heavily fined for small spots on carpet after they didnt renewed the lease and moved to a better place.Office staff talks to you politely only when you are a new customer or want to renew your lease, if you complain about safety in the apartments or suggest anything, they will behave rudely.The maintenance is not up-to the mark, lot of leaves are always scattered all over the area, there are few dried up dead trees, management doesnt care to cut them off until it falls on someone’s car.Its better to find a safer place to live in comparable prices.

My apartment is flooded with freezing cold water and no one has responded to my emergency calls and half a dozen voice messages no one has come to help. I am so frustrated, dont know what to do. No one picks the emergency number, only voice mails can be left. I live in apartment d 8516. If you are reading this, please never come to live in this apartment. :(

I joined beechmill back in Mar 2013, since then I have felt degradation in service every year. Last week, I went there to know the processof installing washer/dryer in my apartment and they shared a Jets laundry service details with me and asked me to connect with them and follow the process. I did and as per the Jets service agreement, Jets guys need some information from Beechmill and lady from leasing office refused to listen the ask. Her behavior was very unprofessional. I will talk to manager on Monday, hoping to get some answers.

The worst apartments I have ever seen in my life. Be it a manager, office staff or maintenance staff all are pathetic in response. I had opened a request by 23-feb but no response. When I went to beechmill office to ask the status, that lady said I cant do anything for you, come back by next week. Such a clumsiest service they provide. All the apparatus such as oven, dishwasher refrigerator etc.. are of worst Quality. Every other day the interior doors get broken back.

I want to give -ve rating but unfortunately its not the option here. Managment is worst, Pathetic services, maintenance and apartment conditions and recently they increased the utility charges 3 times and they dont have any answers... Awful! Barbara is not aware of anything. She doesnt pick cheque on time from cheque box and charge late payment.She is so unprofessional and inhuman and will not listen anything.in other society they are so supporting and understanding,

They do not provide complete term and condition documents and when you move out from apartment they send a hug amount of bill without any explanation.There is no clean policy,.Dont choose this apartment for you happy Life.Really Hared It.

Resident at beechmill; this apartment is ok to live but in case you face any issue or you need maintenance service or anything that will never be addressed.Poor customer service and kind residents are treated is not acceptable.In short staff is not helpful at all. If ever we get new office staff probably this place people might not leave and go to neighboring society.4 year back when I came, this was hot prperty, we had waiting time to book apartments; now apartments are empty. Thats cos resident are not happy and they are leaving.

Leasing Manger, Hilary is so rude. She dont how to talk with resident. Another staff, Barbara is good lady but nothing she can do about things as she is supposed to act as her boss guides her. She act as helpless with resident complaints. She will not entitle anything. Leasing officer is not reachable if you find her anytime then she will talk so impolite and ill mannered. I dont know on what basis she decided what is emergency. Heater is not working in home; its not emergency. floor and carpet is wet as line beneath is broken and mat and bed is spoiled still she will be so rude; she wont feel sorry for you rather will make you out soon. Please change leasing officer who is responsible. We dont know whom to approach for these complains.. she dont entitle any issues. Her perspective with clients is harsh. Management either educate her or change leasing manager to someone responsible and sensible. Also approachable. Another suggestion, we must have some grievance cell or box where manager complain can be send to main management as this lady is discourteous and crass by nature. Very inhuman she is ..

Had to give 1 star just because need to submit a review on this society. Spent 3 years because of the neighborhood location. The only good thing about this society is its location. Close to Walmart, Shopping mall etc. Houses are bad and the Management is even worse. It kept on degrading with each new company hand shake. If one is looking for all Indian community, and overlook all other amenities, could stay in here otherwise, do yourself a favor and ignore this society in your apartment search. And the office lady, Barbara is the worse. She doesnt know anything nor does she care for residents comfort.

It’s so unfortunate to be resident under current community manager. She is really very rude.Cos of her behaviour many resident left the society and moving to other places inspite at prime location. Apartments are vacant..And barbara (another lady) she is over sweet to take care of concern so she won’t handle any complain and she will says it’s management we our bound by.Ac is not working and they say it will be fixed but nothing happeningNever recommended society if management remains same.Leasing staff is very lazy about resident concerns and they force resident not raise concern. See, old reviews (Anam) people are forced to be sorry to manager if they give one rating this is so very wrongAlso, working hours of leasing office is so odd at 4pm only they will close office instead 6 pm on every other day. Dear Management,Happy to see things are moving, I had few concerns about the community in last 2 years which was bought to the notice of old management several times1) The cracks in the Tennis & Basket ball court, which are very big to avoid. Had see many guys (specially children) spraining their legs during play, Myself got bed ridden for a week due to severe sprain .Request you to fill the cracks .2) Also the lights in the courts never seem to be working for unknown reason. Would appreciate if you could fix the lights too.3) Spoke about the street lights in the community, the answer was we are working on changing to day lights in entire community with multiple vendors. Now, its been a long time, not sure when the vendors will come back with answers. Better lights the community will make us feel more secure.Hope these will be addressed by new management, who is willing to bring changes in the community for better lives.

Same service request I raise every 4th day, in bathroom, water pop out from drainage; and maintenance say its hair but hair wont let water in but in my case if not using bathroom then also water is coming from inside and mess my bath tub and on multiple complains regarding same nothing is permanently fix . I cant understand every 4th day how hair can grease to the extent. I am really pissed by now.I know it may hurt you management but its genuine feeling.Plumber says drainage is old and all line are into one thats why its the issue but I need fix not reasoning!

Th Apartments are good, i lived from 10th Apr 2010 to 8th Oct 2011, My apartment was facing the E12 road and US 31, building 8051 Apt B. The summer was ok, but i constantly felt change in temperature, some paranormal feeling in that apartment. Until one night in late December when i was attacked by a spirit at night sleeping in my bedroom. I guess someone might have died either on the highway or in the apartment. next morning i saw strange multiple 1 cuts on my back with no blood, but apartment management laughed at me when i told them. I know that was real and since December i never slept in the bedroom. Other wise the apartments and the community is very nice.

The temperature now is( 03/25) 74 and the inside temperature is 83 in our apartment . This lady in the office says that they will not fix the air conditioner, which was broken last year . She says it doesnt need to be fixed and they will not arrange anything temporary as the temperature is not above 80 outside. When i walked into the office I could feel the cold air they enjoy, but they cannot understand and are not willing to listen to the problems their residents face because of the Hvac not working. They do not care about the sleepless nights and the nose bleedings we faced with the hotter temperatures. they just say open the window and sleep or get a fan from Walmart. Probably in their leasing office they should stop the A/C and try to work with windows open. Last October the temperatures were above 80, but they were reluctant to fix the A/C. we understand that the temperatures are low in most of the winters but this winter the temperatures were abnormal. we do not need an ac when the temperature is below 60, but when the temperatures are above 60 we definitely need an A/C for a comfortable living. Hope they understand the meaning of Air conditioning. I bet he should face the same situation and he will understand the problem we are facing.Better find a safe and modern place for the rent we pay. They want our money but does not want to provide any service. If your age old compressor is broken it will never be fixed !!!!! When you go to the leasing office the receptionist does not even care to give you a smile or offer a seat nor ask why we walked into the office.My recommendation - A big no to this older apartments with higher rents and pathetic staffupdate - as of today may 24th the air conditioner is not yet fixed and i could hear a new story each time i ask them the status.they marked the previous requests as completed.

Management is very bad. Old infrastructure. Unusable/Broken appliances. No one bothers to replace/repair broken appliances even after making several complaints in the system.

Extremely poor maintenance. The staff are rude and arrogant. The new property manager is nightmare.I am a current resident at Beechmill Apartment since Dec-2012.I had requested a repair in my apartment bathroom. No one turned up for 12 days and when I went inquire, they said we are now busy with fixing ACs, we may get that repaired by this weekend. It was simple issue of changing the bathtub drain stopper.The old management of Beechmill was bad, and these new people are worst.Chose Beechmill only nothing else is available.Firstly its pricier and apartments are smaller in size. Maintenance is poor. There are lots of trees which is good but, during fall its curse. All the leaves which fall down, the society does not remove them, it stays there, till is decomposed by rain and then later snow. They keep o changing there maintenance rules, so they dont have to pend on maintenance.These apartments have very poor insulation, hence your gas bill in winter crosses $150 monthly. When informed about this issue, they say get something from Menards and put on the windows. I feel very bad about this.Ponds around the complex, stink in summer and also causes mosquito problem.Maintenance needs to improve by miles.Only benefit of this apartment is that, its near to Walmart and Greenwood mall.

I had to Give atleast one Star, else I was not allowed to write a reviewBeechmill is the pathetic apartments ever and ever.The ownership of apts is now changed and they are renovating interiors, which is absolutely of no use with below existing problems1) Snakes: a family had to witness nearly 6 snakes right next to bed in the morning. A couple had snake under couch to their surprise. Kids in play area were frightened by a snake many times. Walking in lawns is only to witness snakes2) Rats: countless, when you call Maintenance, the prompt reply would be deal it yourself, we do not have guys to come now 3) frogs in pool, Government authorities closed pool for couple of weeks, considering the pool conditions.4) Geese and their poop all over lawns in community5) roads with lot of pot holes, recently a road was fixed but only in the entrance to fool more new residents6) Closets are very old and the doors fall off anytime, maintenance would take ages to address.7) AC maintenance has been major concern in both summer and winter for all the residents

NO STARS! STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS!! The staff is rude!! Lost my rent check and still charged me a late fee for them losing it! maintenance is terrible! **THEY** damaged my bathroom door when helping me move in my washer and dryer. NOTE: The bathroom is made for a normal size washer and dryer but the hallway and door way placement and where the sink in the bathroom sits makes it is almost impossible to get a washer and dryer into the bathroom. Even the maintenance guy had issues getting the washer and dryer in which resulted in the bathroom door getting damaged and **I** had to pay for it!! Also when I moved out they charged me 250.00 to replace EACH closet door because they were off the hinges because the carpet is so thick the closet doors wouldnt open. *THEY* gave me permission to take the doors off, I called prior to removing them. All they had to do was put them back on! They didnt have to get all new closet doors, but of coarse they did ON MY MONEY!! We also went all summer with no air conditioner! It was broke and they refused to fix it because it wasnt an emergency problem, I was told by the staff that having an A/C was a privilege not a right and they would fix it when it was convient for them, which never happened! If you look up this apartment this is a common complaint (no A/C and the complex refusing to fix them). If you live here or you are thinking about it. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! If the damage something make them sign something stating THEY damaged it. If they give you permission to do something make them sign something saying they gave you permission. because I promise you these apartments are shady shady people and will find any way to screw you over!

Only benefit of this apartment is that there is a CUMC church preschool on a walking distance.Management is not in sync. One person will say something and another will say something else regarding any of the query. Almost 80% 2nd floor apartments floor is broken. In case of any repair they will ask you to wait until a new apartment is available or they will ask you to move and will do the repair on your cost (Apartment rent will go on and they will use your IPL and Citizen connection to do the repair).I stayed more than 2.7 years and during this period I changed my apartment due to the broken floor. And at last I left the apartment because the second apartment floor was also broken. Now they used my IPL connection in my absence for repair and the bill came too high. They are refusing to pay the IPL bill which they have used.The maintenance is getting worst day by day. Now they have started charging for apartment maintenance also. They take almost 1 month for any maintenance work order. And their answer is this is not urgent so whenever we will get time we will complete the work order because we are busy with other stuff.Beechmill staff does use very bad and foul language with the residents.If you are greenry lover, there is lots of greenery in the society.I will NOT RECOMMAND Beechmill to anybody UNLESS some one is looking for a PRESCHOOL.

Me and my husband stayed here for like three yrs and the years passed the place got dirtier . the maintainence got worse. they have three pond there which stinks like anything . have got a good amount of spiders and rat attracted to it. apparently they get it cleaned like once a year.looks like all the indians like to stay there and the staff have become real rude ., they dont listen to any of ur complaints .least cooperative . i beg all the indian community to stop staying their to save ur own pride. you all can get a lot better apprtment at this price..

I have lived here from last 2-3 years; society is situated a very good location and I liked long trees at society entrance. Though it has a potential to be very good living experience but it poorly maintained and not upgraded with time.Though tennis court has been advertised but there are cracks on the court which has not been repaired in years and even there is no provision for light in evening on the court. Inside society, you will find eroded roads and pits on road which is not repaired frequently. While you choose apartment you might feel good to have a pond facing apartment but later you will realize, water dirty and not maintained at all.Biggest decline which I have observed in last 1 year that there have been burglaries and no steps were taken to make things better, Maintenance was always poor here but older staff atleast acknowledged the fact, new staff is very rude and if you complain about something they will become ruder and try to find some-way to put it on you. They even cannot tell you when they are going to fix it because they do not have enough maintenance staff and this happens in normal days, god knows what will happen when you have complaints during festive season.My recommendation BIG NO.

No Stars at all, does not even deserve 1 star. Pathetic staff, extremely rude...they dont listen to you at all. When I called to follow up on my ticket- I was told that I am lying and I never raised a ticket and when in a few seconds she could open the ticket on her desktop... no apologies( guess she didnt even feel sorry). I mean how can you (WITHOUT CHECKING) say you are lying ??? Just because we are Indians you cannot insult us all the time. You dont even treat your dogs like that.Indians stay there because they have each others company not because Beechmill is providing competitive rent or good service.Improper cleaning, outdated park, rude staff, dirty lake- what else can you think of...Horrible place....I think its high time, Indians should find another society to live in.
