I get very bad service, even after they installed something on my neighbors roof for me to get service. Charged me $10 more a month for it. Service would turn on and off constantly, my kids did online school and it was a struggle most of the time with this internet, with it disconnecting constantly. Netflix would not work on our tvs because the connection was bad. Neither would any other streaming services apart from YouTube.My year is finally up and we decided to try something new. 3 stars because most of the time customer service was very nice not including the last person I spoke to.

Still new to using their service, but so far its leaps and bounds beyond our last internet provider.The folks when Ive called in have always been knowledgeable and willing to answer questions.Installation went very smooth even though we have a tricky roof for a dish installation. The tech was also extremely knowledgeable about the services and was able to answer questions I had forgotten to ask while on the phone.So far, I would highly recommend them.

My parents have CONSTANT problems with their service. If it’s not one thing it’s another. Last weekend their cable and internet were out for 3 days. Today the cable went out again. This happens often and customer service can’t ever figure out the issue. On a previous call a rep offered to waive part of their bill, of course they never happened. My mom has asked about it the last 3 calls and they act like they don’t know anything about it and don’t care. I’m going to look into switching them to ditch next time I’m able to travel to IF.Don’t waste your time or money with this company.

Did he also say that your first service tech that came out to add service to another house put my service to my nabors place thats one of the reasons why I had no service and your guy that came to fix it only help for a few hours and finally when cenrtylink came ever he said that the who box was messed up and in the official report that to not have any other service techs come out and mess with anything again because he fixed my internet perfectly and the two nabors right next to me. You can look up the report and find out all the information yourself. The service tech and myself are still extremely interested that you sent out a tech that had no clue what he was doing and was unwilling to correct it instead he just leaves and your second tech had to swap it back over to our box. We can go back and forth on here all day.

My experience with the installation was Flawless. The technician was very knowledgeable. Polite and informative also cleaned up after himself left no mess. It was an excellent experience. Sales was a little disappointing? They seem to be wanting to make more sales than to Describe everything to the customer. It was a rush rush rush. In the end everything worked out.

Installation and first few months service was great. Gradually service got worse. Buffered constantly never got satisfactory help when calling in. Once a tech came out observed the problem but couldnt figure out how to fix it. He said hed put in a request for a supervisor to come out. Its been over a year and Im still waiting. If anything more than unplug the router the fix only lasted about half an hour. Signs around town advertising their service only added to my frustration. Billing always had many email messages programmed to remind you of due date. Too bad they cant get the service to work as well. Cancelled recently because of a move out of the area, they came to remove equipment 3 days before the date requested. Worst 2 years of service ever.

Cant seem to get my internet running steady for more than a few hours and it drops and then reconnects and then none will fix it and I call at least 3 times last week and all they say is that they fixed a few things but its still the same. Now tonite I called and the girl said she would call me back in 15 min. And its been 1 hr. And nobody called me yet

Im very impressed and happy with Safelinks service. The representatives over the phone are very polite and knowledge. They were able to get me an appointment the very next day which was a Saturday!!! The technician that came out to our house was even more impressive. He walked us through all of our options and did an amazing job with the instillation. There are no visible wires!!! Inside and out! Also we live out in the country and the signal is just as good as the one we had in town. I highly recommend SafeLink!

These guys were absolutely great. I called to schedule an install for new Internet as soon as available. At first they told me the best they could was 10 days out. I understood and planned on my new Internet for then. The next day I got a call from them asking me if I would like the installer to come to my house that evening for installation. I couldnt believe it, and these guys really took the time and focus to do a great job getting me a super fast signal. I had no idea Safelink was available, my only wish would be to know sooner that I could get quick reliable Internet through them!

I contacted the company that the former owner used and tried to set up a same day transition. They made it impossible. I called Safelink and had things arranged in minutes. They came and set up a home and then a business, they were so great to find the ways to get us the most credits possible. They had originally scheduled us for install one day and ended up being able to come out an entire week early, they called and gave us plenty of notice that they were on their way, asked exactly how we wanted everything done and did a nice quick and clean install, could not be happier!

Best customer service, prices are about within market prices but my favorite part about what the offer is called “The Guardian” with the internet being so out of control, this tool is so amazing. You can control just about everything on your WiFi and ITS FREE. Parental controls are a must in every household, and this is a great tool to hold all devices accountable.

Ive used Safelink Interent since I first moved to Idaho. We have never had any significant problems. We have had a few issues. We had to move addresses and then move it again when the neighbors built in our line of sight of the tower. Each time they were more than accommodating. Their phone reps are easy to talk to, and their service is quick. We regularly watch shows on several devices at a time and we have never had any major problems with our speed. I would recommend them for anyone looking for internet in east Idaho.

This is absolutely the least reliable internet service that I have ever had the displeasure of paying for. Not only have I not been consistently receiving the speeds I am paying for, I have spent literally HOURS on the phone with their tech people with zero success in fixing the problem. Every time I called into the technical support line I was put on hold for around 10 minutes before the option becomes available for tech support to return a call. If this is an option, why would they not give the option before wasting your time. The answer is that they do not care about your time. In fact, the level of service received seems designed to dissuade customers from calling in with service problems due to the amount of time it takes. Unfortunately,I wouldn’t recommend Safelink Internet to my worst enemy. I like to support local business but these guys just aren’t very good. Bottom line.....go elsewhere for your internet provider!!!

I dont know why I waited to long to complete the installation. I didnt have to wait long and when the time came, the process didnt take long. The technician was courteous and profession. He answered all my questions, and setting up my account was easy. I have not experienced any lagging or buffering since Ive started my service. I got my install done today and so far so good. The installation techs were knowledgeable and did a clean job running the wire through a vent on my gable. I had to provide the man lift but my house is tall so I cant complain. And hey, if I leave a review I get entered for an Amazon gift card.

I was skeptical about switching to a new provider (even though I was very annoyed with my cable service and their constant price increases and outages) After deciding to switch to Safelink, we were quickly scheduled with an installation date. The technician called and verified our appointment and he showed up on-time. The technician took care to be respectful of our property and professionally installed our antenna and made the connections into our house. We were up and running in less than a few hours. The service has been great and we have been able to use streaming on multiple devices at once. I am very happy with Safelink and the people we have interacted with. I would recommend Safelink to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It is terrible service. Terrible customer service. We have had this service for 1 week exactly, 7 days thats it I literally had no service at all the first 2 days. Called them twice to get a tech out both times they said they would send someone and didnt upon calling back they said they had no idea what I was talking about. REALLY. I have to call in atleast 4 more times for my service being out for hours at a time. I can not believe the disrespect the people at this company have and how on earth they are still in business.

At the time of install they drilled through my sewer line causing $15,000 worth of damage. This damage could’ve been avoided if the installer told me that they hit a drain line. After 6 weeks the hole was noticed.When the first person came out to inspect the damage he told me “ it would be funny if we didn’t cause so much damage”.After receiving bids from two restoration companies they decided to go with one that I didn’t prefer. They continued to fight me and wasn’t going to replace the carpet to match as it was before that damage. The whole process felt as if they didn’t want to own up to there mistake. Finally, after 6 months the house was repaired.At that point, I wanted to drop them. I felt that a company who failed to own up to their mistakes isn’t one I wanted to do business with. Since I signed my contract for a year I kept them. The internet seemed to get worse as the year went on. Service was very slow and would be very slow on multiple devices.Today, I finally disconnected their service . The appointment to disconnect was scheduled between 8am to 12 pm. I stayed home all morning for the appointment. At 1:00 I left my house and finally received a call at 1:30 saying they were running late.Never dealt with a company that I was so displeased with.

We were having problems with our Internet ever since we connected with Safelink. The technical support has always been very helpful. Finally one of the tech support representatives realized we had a bad router. They came out the next day which was a Saturday to deliver the new router. We have been suffering with very poor internet from our previous provider to the point that it took us 11 hours to download Office onto a new computer that we recently purchased. That was it - needed a new provider. Safelink came out the next day after we called and had us service within 1.5 hours and it is like lighting speed compared to what we have ever been use to for years from our location. I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere, they came out and installed wifi and let me tell you it is so fast. The installer Christian explained how and where the line could come in to the house and it looks nice behind the furniture. The two men who installed my internet yesterday, Nacho and Jack, were outstanding. They installed my internet as well as my Moms, who lives on the same property. Due to our location there were some issues getting it to work, but they worked hard for us. They spent a good 8 hours of their day to make sure my Mom and I were happy. Great job, guys!

My family noticed our internet service was getting slow, streaming movies had a lot of buffering and often lost signal. Laptop pcs had the same issue. I called and the tech went through a series of possible internal fixes that just did not really improve anything. Then he discovered an issue with the tower from where we receive our signal. He was able to put in a work order and the issue was fixed overnight! Now we can stream movies, use the wifi on other devices at the same time without any buffering or service interruption. Thanks Safelink for having knowledgeable techs that really know what they are doing!

Tech support is really good but the worst internet you could ever get. Asked them to run the internet to my living room and they ran it to my back room so I asked if they could rerun it and they wanted to charge me $75 so I told them Im going to find a new internet provider and she was rude about it and that night my internet quit working and now my new $250 router doesnt work so I have to take it back and Im stuck with no internet. Strongly suggest finding a new internet provider.

I have been without internet service for over two years. I had Century Link in town and when I moved they said they could supply services at my new home. Come to find out, their services are not available. So I waited until I was positive I would be happy with the provider. So far so good! I appreciated Safelinks quick response to my referral from friends. In less than a week I had internet services at a reasonable cost! Switched to Safelink thinking I was getting a 10meg download speed guarantee. The contract was such that if did not like the service within 30 days I had the option to cancel with no obligations. This was not to be the case. Five days into the service, repeated attempts to fix the 2meg download speed with multiple interruptions. Several hours on the phone and two separate tech call outs all in less than seven days. I decided to cancel my service. The catch is now you will be charged the 90.00 dollar installation fee plus a full month of service. Yes (after arguing with the manager) I did receive a refund of the 90 dollars but not for a month of service at 65.00 for only seven days of crappy service. If you are thinking of using this guys for service think twice it is not worth the headache.

We’ve had a couple people help us in the last almost 5 years we’ve been with you. One knew nothing and wouldn’t do what we ask (put the dish where we wanted or check old wires just required it to the old set up that was here when we moved in even though we told him we had to re roof that addition so then we had to have it re set up 18 months later.) however the second guy who set us up here (we were with you for a year or so in in e oregon before we moved here) and this second guy is the same one who set us up in Oregon. He is an independent contractor through you guys and HE IS AWESOME!! (Believe me you aren’t paying him enough!!!) we told him where we wanted it moved to and he did then he checked the wires and found out why we kept cutting out (there were several places where they were frayed and exposed not to mention on the ground therefore under snow and water at times of the year)He re ran new wires set up the new dish where we’d requested the first guy set them up and then went the extra mile helping us upgrade our plan and just make sure we were happy with his service. Wish you had more people like him working for you!!! Other than that services are good except when we have wind but we’ve always had that problem that is there’s wind (not rain or snow...just wind) it cuts in and out. So overall pretty happy with our service. And since nobody else offers internet here without paying an arm and a let and for extra services we don’t need that are required we’ll stay here.

I live out in an area of Bingham County with few options for internet service. I had one for 13 years because there wasn’t any others. That changed recently so I started looking at other providers. I had seen the Safelink signs really close to my house so I thought I’d try them and see if I could get faster than 5mb and no data cap. I checked with a few of my IT friends and heard nothing but great comments. So I called this past week and got a tech to come yesterday to check for service. And much to my delight, not only could I get their service but I could even receive their top package! Needless to say I had the tech do the installation. He was efficient, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He did a great job installing the dish and cable into one of the upstairs bedrooms that isn’t being used. He even set the router to the same SSID and password of my old router so I wouldn’t have to change all the wireless devices in the house (a bunch of your anything like me). When he fired it up and my phone connected with no problem I was blown away! Of course I checked the speed and it was exactly what I paid for. Ow I can stream all I want with no data cap! I highly recommend Safelink if your looking for a reliable and professional company staffed with great people.

The internet service is completely unusable. I have had the service since May 18, 2016, and its been down or too slow to use most of the time. Ive had a technician out, and service improved for a few days until there was an issue with all of their towers. This was on Friday, June 3, and I have called tech support numerous times. They have told me that there is nothing they can do, and apparently thats that. I called to cancel today, June 7, and was told I would have to pay the $90 install fee, which I completely refused since Rise Broadband did 80% of the installation. Im waiting to hear back from the billing manager, and I hope they do the right thing since they did not live up to their end of the contract.
