Mike and Kip were awesome with the set up process for our business. Great price too. Dont hesitate giving these guys a call!!
Jackson is the man. He has gone above and beyond for me to help me connect my internet. Awesome customer service, and great communication skills. Thanks Jackson
Knowledgeable and helpful. I was having a technical issue that required a change on the ISP side and called in at 7:10am on a Saturday morning. They resolved my issue within twenty minutes. I wasnt expecting this level of service for a mere residential customer. I was pleasantly surprised.I like having a static ip, I like the price, and I like the bandwidth. I like that they were willing to make a non standard exception for me early on a Saturday morning. Uptime has been great (better than when I had cable). I definitely recommend them.
These guys understand the importance and meaning of customer service
Hands down Qwk.Net is the best option when it comes to Idaho Falls Fiber!!!Fiber was just installed in our neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. Looking at our options of providers we chose Qwk.Net. Not only are they located right here in Idaho Falls, they are also locally owned. They have been amazing to work with, accommodating our schedule and attentive to our needs. At the end of the day, wherever we do business, we want to feel like our business is valued. Well, theyve certainly accomplished that and we look forward to working with them for the many years to come!
Thanks for making me and other a priority. No answers and no internet for 11 hour and counting. Im Changing providers, I hope other do as well. You guys need to get your act together. Blame who ever you like, but this clearly poor customer service
Very impressed with the service, especially with it being a small company. When you’re looking for Internet here in the city of Idaho Falls you definitely want to stay away from the giants like CenturyLink and Sparklight if you can since they have horrible service. The only downside with this company is that not every part of the city has fiber coverage yet, but hopefully as time goes on their service will expand and send the giants packing
Good fast internet
I decided on Qwk.Net as our Fiber provider since they were local and (at the time) advertised being Net Neutral. They very aggressively throttle their customers speeds and I doubt very much they have the technology to provide consistent speeds anywhere near what is advertised.Ill go into more detail below for Net Neutrality advocates (or those simply interested) but the average person may not care or even notice the throttling. Please support local businesses, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. My house was used in the trial-run for Fiber service. Initially we were only getting about 300 mbps. (There are some caveats to measuring internet speed, most of which Im capable of mitigating.) Shortly after, they added an additional server farm which increased speeds to just over 500 mbps. I could live with the slower-than-advertised speeds and overlook the growing pains. It was the trial-run, after all.The issue came about when a member in my family decided to download their video game library to a new hard drive overnight. The next morning, and after a few wasted hours trying to connect to my companies VPN, I got a call from the Qwk.Net IT department. They mentioned that they had been throttling my connection to 256 kbps, about 1/40th the advertised speed. They suspected I was being cyber attacked and had apparently throttled the connection for my protection. I explained that someone was downloading video games and could they please stop throttling my connection as I was having trouble working from home. They told me no and that they would continue to throttle me at 256 kbps over the weekend just in case. The situation escalated quickly from there.A few points: 1. A cyber-attack on a residential computer does not typically take the form of increased and sustained downloading. 2. Throttling a connection in any way violates a very essential, basic tenant of Net Neutrality. 3. I believe they felt I was torrent-ing, and this was their way of punishing me or getting me to stop.I went full Karen on the IT personnel (which I do regret), told him to un-throttle my stuff and proceeded to lecture them out about their clearly false claim to be Net Neutral before hanging up.Shortly after, I got a call from the owner. It wasnt to apologize or deflate the situation, it was to argue. His first words: Can you please explain to me what you think Net Neutrality means? What I think Net Neutrality means!?! I immediately blew a gasket and was once again in full Karen mode. The owners argument was that they dont prioritize streams and are therefore Net Neutral. I tried to explain to him that he is correct that not prioritizing streams is Net Neutral, but he refused to listen to me that throttling is not. Even a cursory glance at Net Neutrality on Wikipedia will demonstrate the truth of my statement. (They also impose data caps which violates Net Neutrality, but arguably at rates which should differentiate between residential and commercial usage.)Coincidentally (or not), a month later and they no longer advertise being Net Neutral on their website...Ive since switched to another local (ish) provider and my speeds are slightly better. I do still experience slow-downs and most likely some throttling, but on average the service is just as good, if not slightly faster, than Qwk.Net.Ultimately, it was how the owner failed to address my concerns that I decided to use a different ISP. Admittedly I could have handled the situation better myself, but my expectation when I signed up with a Net Neutral ISP is that I wouldnt have to worry about the exact situation I found myself in - being unable to use the service I paid for. I dont agree with an ISP dictating how I can use my service and the owner literally told me I was using the service incorrectly just by downloading video games...
Excellent service with a very knowledgeable staff. Were excited to get Internet through them!
Best place to get fiber internet! Great customer service!
Excellent service! QWK.Nets fiber Internet is stable and fast. They also helped us link two of our buildings and found their knowledge of networking superior. We also host our website with them using their website hosting service and find dedication to quality service is very apparent for both the Internet and hosting.
I called up for some advice and Quinn and his staff were great. Turned out that what I needed wasnt exactly what they normally do but they took the time to take care of me. Super cool.
