Skip using Big Dog and sign up direct with the providers to save money. Highly dislike this company. We ordered Dish through them thinking it would be great to support our local business. By signing up through them it added a surcharge every month to our bill. We could have easily signed up through Dish to avoid that extra worthless cost. When we closed our Dish account 2 years later, they continued to charge us the surcharge to manage the account. We contacted them several times to get it changed and they continued to charge us and refused to refund us. Sign up for the services they offer directly from the providers, skip Big Dog
The office (Ryan) gave me the most accurate estimate Ive ever received...it was to the penny what I paid for the install and product...no added fees, no charges for parts or labor, etc.Caleb (installer) was very efficient, knowledgeable, personable and professional. He even found a better way to do the installation to cut down on the length of the cable which affects the quality of the service and made it less invasive to the property while staying within the guidelines of the property MGMT.I dont normally write reviews, but this company was so good that I felt compelled to do so!!!Do Not look any further than Big Dog Electronics!!!!!.

They scheduled me for a date with fybercom but little did I know that the date was not accurate. Now I have to wait another week and a half for internet. Disappointed!
The personnel at Big Dog have been wonderful to work with. All of my expectations have been met...and then some. Dustin was great getting me signed up and ready. James is awesome to work with. He initially came out to see what my options would be for placement of the dish and then installed it and set up my 4 TVs. He then showed me how it all worked, which, for a senior citizen is essential! Thanks Big Dog. I hope this is the beginning of many years of partnership.
Bryan Davis was Informative and professional without any sales pressure. Looked for all qualifying discounts and was genuinely helpful. The installation tech (Erik?) could not have done a better job! The absolute worst in customer service that I have ever experienced in Idaho. Was cold when I got the service to use their service contract not dish networks contract because they were much more customer friendly. I pay for this service monthly and when asked for them to come and perform service I was told I would be charge for the service but yet it could only be done on to certain days of the week not that they could schedule it for the next day after I call when needing service and paying for a service call they want to dictate that they can only come up once a week in my area very poor customer service especially if youre charging a service call Mini other numerous problems just because I live out Of the immediate city When asked if I could talk to the owner of the company to explain my discussed with the program I was told he did not have time for his customers because he was too busy running 5 businesses And that he did not care what my concerns were he had no time to talk to customersAfter waiting a couple days we finally got the service that big dog was known for due to the efforts of James their lead technician he came out and made everything right There seem to be a lot of mis communication on their end James was going to add notes to our account to make sure that this type of situation did not happen again I would also add that this was the type of service that we were accustomed to from big dog from the very beginning when we signed up with them So for anyone that reads this review I would change it now to a 4 star rating we will see what next year brings but I hope with the notes made in the account that this type of thing will not happen again
We have been dealing with Big Dog for may years and really love how they take such good care of their customers. On a scale of 1-10 they are a 15!! I would and do recommend them to everyone I can.
WARNING: I would not use this cimpany! Why? Let me tell you! Installer came, and sat in my driveway for 15 minutes, 15 minutes before he was supposed to show up. Called our disconnected number, (we were sure to give our new number to company to avoid this) and when installer got our disconnected number, he left! (Even though he saw the t.v. on from the driveway, realizing someone was home!) I called ASAP as l saw him driving away, only to be told that We dont have a Big Dawg truck with our name on it (which l saw sitting in my driveway for 15 minutes). After arguing with customer service, they were unable to contact the installer to turn around and come back, as he wouldnt answer his text! After playing phone tag for half the day, and talking to 4 different people, each promising an install that day, l was told the installer was in the middle of someone elses install (on my time!) Long story short, this company didnt have my correct phone number, didnt know what company trucks the company had, wasnt able to contact their people, couldnt give me a straight answer, and told me l would have to wait an additional 2 weeks for an installation of Dish to my home! I called Dish directly, warned them about Big Dawg Entertainment, was told they were aware of problems with this company, and told l would have Dish installers at my house the next morning to install my Dish By Professionals! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, for Dish installation, or even dog catching! Ultimately, they may not come through for you. One issue is one thing, but 4 or 5 issues is quite another! Again, these people are everywhere, and not where theyre supposed to be when theyre supposed to be there!

Got on new contract almost 2 yrs ago and have nothing but problems with the cable and the company just keeps on sending me technical people who cant fix the issue! You charge me a ton for cable and still cant fix it. Id be giving zero stars if it was an option

It was simple. I called and spoke to a sales rep at the office who was very helpful and spent a lot of time answering my tedious questions.Once I decided on the best service for my situation, an installer arrived exactly when I was told he would show up.The installer was polite and walked me through the entire setup and how satellite works since this was my first satellite experience.Ive now how the service up and running for a few months and have no complaints. It works how it should and Big Dog was awesome to work with.

Very dishonest!I signed up last month and asked the rep in the store MULTIPLE TIMES, if I’d be able to watch certain and specific programs with the package that I purchased and he said I would. Well, it wasn’t true. Now he tells me that if I want to watch those programs, I have to pay more each month. I went to the store and tried to cancel and the same rep wouldn’t own his lie, all he did was squirm in his chair and redirect me. I will talk with management to see if they can let me out of the contract and be responsible for his SHADY employee.

We were convinced to get rid of my current cable provider and bundle with dish network and century link for huge savings and great customer service from Britney. when in reality they had no knowledge of their services and have been given misinformation about pricing to probably the worst customer service I have ever received Big Dog in Idaho falls. Called big dog three times finally got through to the manger Chad, Chad reassured us that everything would be taken care of and outof four phone calls to the office this is the only time hes heard of our problems. Called today a week after Chad said hed take care of it still nothing. These people have lied from the beginning to lock me into a two year contract so I have to tolerate this or ruin my credit .
The sales representative was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The tech was efficient and took great care to place the equipment in the right spot in our cinder block house. He also cleaned up after he was finished with the install. Thank you to all.

Came from Cableone and saved a bunch of money on my TV service by switching to Dish. The installer was very professional and the service is SO much better. Its also nice that I was able to talk to someone locally instead of having to speak to someone that I could barely understand. Will go with Big Dog from now on!
These guys have terrible customer service skills. I called them three times now and they simply cannot figure it out. 15 days in to moving into my new place and they still haven’t gotten my account set up. Also they are super rude on the phone each time they fail to do their job and tell me to call in on a different day. Btw you can only call in until 6 pm. Piss poor service from yet another piss poor company in Idaho Falls.

I had an installation they never secured my dish down come back out again took more money off me had to come back the next day to finish up a job that he done before cause I wasn’t done right and now last night a month later it blew over again and now they want me to wait over the weekend till Tuesday was obnoxiously rude jazella was her name I think called back again If it there falt they do it for free if it my fault $99.00 and still Tuesday very rude people I fill I’v been ripped off ive begged them to fix it and being the right stand out for the Dish Asked to speak to a district manager they refused told me they’re sending voice recordings of the conversation to their corporate I feel I’ve been scammed

Bryan went above and beyond when he helped my parents upgrade their tv viewing experience and switch to Dish so they could get all of their GF channels.

I had them install a 75kw system for my pivots. They were awesome to work with.
I told the rep I had existing service, he said there was no way to find my account. So we started new service instead of transferring. This cancelled the 100 dollar credit century link gives. They also had to send a new modem when I already had one. If you are going to get centurylink call centurylink. Big Dog caused a lot of problems.

Just go directly to the internet provider. These people never answer the phone and never call back. My internet is down on a Friday evening and century link says they can’t help me because I go through Big Dog and Big Dog won’t answer their phones. This is the second time I’ve had trouble with my service and haven’t been able to reach anyone.
Went to my big dog store in town and was taken care of by Bret Ghie that Friday the set up guy came on time and took great care of me, very satisfied with dish had had cable for 36 yrs so glad I switched have had a few problems me not dish call and they can talk me through and fix things with great customer care would recommend to everyone clear great picture and half the price
Was calling to check for prices on internet in my area. After getting the quote before I could say I was going to check on other services I get hung up on since I didnt agree to take his offer right away. I was leaning towards going with them but after being treated the way I was definitely not going to do business with them.

I just moved into town from california and was looking for a internet provider. I looked online for the best deal, but the online services was gonna force me to pay a technician out and force me to purchase a modem. I went in to Big Dog store and was greeted by Mike. He provided great customer service and was very knowledgeable. I was able to set up and schedule a installation within 10 minutes(no fee). He set me up with the best deal from CenturyLink and even gave me some good advice about Rexburg(new in town). I appreciate the the help and I recommend Big Dog TV and Internet for anyone who don’t know the best internet deal available for them. Check these guys out! They are legit! =)

If I could give them 0 stars or negative stars I would. They dont honor the Directv protection plan. They make customers pay for their own seperate protection plan instead. And they threaten Directvs real repair technicians with lawsuits if they try to fix the problem Big Dog wants to charge customers more to fix. Ive paid for Directvs protection plan for 4 years. Im not paying an additional $85 (and then be charged the cost of the actual repair on top of that) to have big dog take a look at it. Good job, youve convinced me after 10 years of continued loyal Directv service to go with Netflix and Hulu instead. Big Dog can suck it.

It was good but my only complaint is cant get abc which makes no sense because my aunt has direct tv and she gets it and lives near me. One of my main reasons for getting tv was so I could watch my shows on abc. I dont understand. The sales rep and everyone else was really nice though.

These guys have changed their names to Digis internet. They are without a doubt the worst internet provider I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Even Microserve are 10x better than these people when it comes to both customer support and networking. Too bad Microserve is being bought out by these hacks.
