I will not be returning. Went for a gel mani & gel pedi. It was suggested by the tech that I should treat myself and get a spa pedi and while the pedi service was wonderful, once done I was rushed out of the pedi chair to the wash station, in a very cramped location, thereby ruining the polish on my big toe because it had not dried. I was then told to sit at a nail station and had what was possibly the quickest mani I have ever had. I explained to the nail tech that I wanted to use the same polish color as my toes with white at tips. She said she couldnt do that and I would have to come back. At the same time the pedi tech is bent down trying to fix the polish on my toe. As soon as the clear gel coat on my hands was applied and went into the UV LED, I paid and was told to sit outside in the hallway as others were waiting to be served. I sat in the hallway and went to take off the pedi slippers and my toenail polish messed up AGAIN. The pedi tech comes out to hand me my receipt and goes to fix the polish and said to me You should have gotten the gel pedicure WHAT?!? You told me to get the spa pedi. The level of unprofessionalism shown here was astounding. I went home and painted the white tip using white polish myself.I will also like to mention the poor customer service towards the young woman seated next to me who was getting a full set of acrylics. The yound lady showed the nail tech a design on her phone and was told she couldnt get that type of nail art and that she should have told him up front what she wanted. Yet this is a service that is promoted at the salon.

Great service! So receptive and accommodating to what I want and nails never disappoint! They shape acrylic the best in the area, ive come in with some awful nails before and they always fix them.Push back your own cuticles before coming because they dont push them back but it is still a 5 star place!

I really don’t want to waste anymore time on these people. Please see pictures for One week old nails after going back to fix chipped polish. All I will say is, save your time and take your money somewhere else.

My nails came out looking so cute!! I️ showed him a picture and he replicated it exactly! I’m so excited I️ got the nails I️ wanted for my 20th birthday! It’s been almost a week since I️ got them and not a scratch! They are really good quality and a great price for what I️ had done.

Im usually pretty picky and find it EXTREMELY HARD to find a nail place that I love and is consistent. Lisa Nails is heaven sent! This is the only place that I have gone to and my gel lasts on my natural nails for longer than just a few days.They are clean, friendly, very professional and consistently do an amazing job. I havent gone to anyone else since discovering this shop.

They are very sanitary (use liners for pedis), professional, and concerned with the health of your nails. I’ve been coming here exclusively for almost 2yrs. If you want a superb pedi, ask for Dali. Bruce and Lisa do most of the hand services, my gels are normally still in tack past 2 weeks.Diamond in the rough. I selfishly don’t want too many people coming here b/c I love the laid back environment, but I must give credit where credit is due. I love this place.Keep up the good work guys!

Beautiful job and great service

Please do not go to this salon. Ive been going to them for about two months for bi weekly fills, new sets etc. And more recently, I decided to get my nails removed to only find that I have fungi growing on my thumb. This is unacceptable! I am a biochemist and know that this fungi is due to a lack of cleanliness and not sterilizing equipment properly. I am also sadden by this because i have spent approximately $80 every two weeks for a new design etc as a self care treat.As you can see from the previous post below I love the work they do but they should be STERILIZING their tools properly.

Perfect SNS manicure and regular classic pedicure. Lisa was able to fit me in and was very professional, caring, and accommodating. My nail shape is perfect with little instruction even after being indecisive. The shop is small and not very glamours but it’s clean and there is wine. I will definitely be back! Ive been coming to Lisas for over a year and its one of the highlights of my week. Im a waitress so I need my nails to hold up and her manicures always last. The spa pedicure is amazing and includes a variety of scrubs, soaks and lotions and a great massage. Of course the number one thing that keeps me coming back is impeccable service and attention to detail. Very good precautions for COVID as well, plexiglass partitions at face level and everyone wears a mask. A hidden gem in Hyattsville.

The lady asked me to wait in the hall because they were busy. There were 4 women getting serviced+4 techs and it was so congested. I have been here before but I guess I was lucky because I was always the only one inside. This time, I left because it just didn’t feel right to be that close to everyone in the middle of a pandemic.

Knowledgeable, precise, and nice! I love Lisa and Bruce, the salon is clean and their work is amazing! Ive been going to this salon since they opened a year ago and Ive recommended tons of friends and family to them. This is the only nail salon that I know that gives your a manicure and neck/back massage for $30! Keep up the great work!

I had the most amazing experience when coming here for the first time, Lisa treated me with such love and care. She was super friendly and made it feel like I was with friends and not somewhere just paying for a service. Two weeks and my pedicure still looks amazing and fresh. I would definitely recommend getting your nails done here!

Its okay. Very small space. Three workers plus one shop assistant/helper. The owners (a couple) were nice enough. The wife, Lisa, was a bit impatient. I wasnt 100% sure what I wanted and although she was fairly helpful, it was very clearly only an effort to speed me along in choosing a color and accent. I had old acrylic soaked off, new acrylic put on, and two chrome accent nails per hand. She charged me $50 and said that she was giving me the soak-off for free. So evidently I was charged for the new acrylic and the chrome accent nails. I didnt think the price was unreasonable. It seems pretty comparable to other shops in the DMV area - maybe just a tiny bit on the pricier side. One thing I did appreciate, however, was that they were willing to schedule me on the same day. I called at about 12pm and they booked me for 6pm. I was a few minutes early, but didnt have to wait long before they had put my hands in a bowl to begin soaking. Once they were ready for me, I felt rushed though.Overall:Location and shop - 3Customer service - 3Price - 3Ease of booking - 4Finished product - 3.5Although Im not pressed to go back, I guess its possible if Im in a pinch. With all of the nail salons in the area, Ill probably keep searching for one I like more. I wouldnt necessarily discourage anyone else from visiting this shop, but I just dont think its for me.

Dip powder done too thin & they dont do your cuticles with a manicure 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was really hard to look for a good nail salon and this place is great it’s small but I love my nails I don’t do my nails all the time I only do them for special events but This will be the place I get them done for now on .

Love this place. It is small....and depending on the day/time, you will have to wait. But the wait is worth it. Great service and great people. My nails always look awesome and last at least 3 weeks.

Wonderful experience. It was my first visit to the salon. I went based on the reviews and Im glad I did. I received compliments on my pedicure almost immediately after leaving. Im definitely going back.

The first time I came here, it was nice treatment so I went back again. Since everyone lacks time management skills, I was forced to go with a worker I never seemed before & she did my gel manicure horrible ! And made my nails very weak. I called & complain and was invited back for a redo. It was nice but they are very rough on nails and will scrap your nails done harshly. I care for my nails a lot and seeing them break off by the day is heart breaking. Don’t go if you care for your nails!

I wanted to post a review about Bruce now that Lisa Nails is up and running. I loyally went to Bruce for more than 5 years in DC and was devastated when I learned he was leaving the neighborhood. He did a beautiful gel manicure every time and I can’t recomnend him enough!
