English came in the clutch for my family. I had to stand firm on the reason for my visit which was annoying. But once I did, respectfully, I was granted access to Ms. English and she was helpful. Thank you.

Dissatisfied with all branches. Literally been starving for 2 months since I lost my food stamp card the main number 1-800 number and all branches that wont answer the phone at all Ill be on the line on hold burned up my minutes for hours they wont even answer starving to death these people is deplorable

They help and they dont even when you have all of your paper work. Good thing they have it.

The security on duty is very rude she screamed at the kids and none of the workers told her anything. I dont think it is right for an adult to scream at kids for not doing anything wrong . They seriously need a new guard who knows how to treat people .

Came here, and the first staff was nice I couldnt really get her name she was thick she was nice and really devoted to help people out, in the other hand another set of staff showed up. The lady in the desk kinda reddish hair, showed up and right away she seem like she didnt wanted to be here. Then a security officer enter the room and keep talking on her phone. My over all experience would of been different if the previous lady would of been here, but I give this facility 1 star because of the workers who seem to no care about helping people out.

It is a very helpful place for people to enjoy the benefits that we are allowed. There is only one slight change I wish would be made in places like these, we need bilingual people to offer help for those who don’t fully understand the process and everything involved. Thanks

They keep telling you to expect things to be done by certain dates and everything and two weeks later it still is not happen and they said oh you get a phone call or get paperwork in mail to finish the interview with all this I keep waiting and waiting and waiting and nothing happens

Usually very helpful but not very courteous. I usually have some type of trouble with one of their door people but not today. I actually had a great visit for once.

They office is so clean, very professional staff and quick fast service. I waa very pleased...😄😄

Staff there was so friendly. Greeted u with sincerity when u arrived and left. Bless Everyone there for making my experience there comfortable. Thats how everyone of those Departments should be ran.

This place has not been helpful,coming from Louisiana in fear for my life and well being I was treated very poorly. I was accused of trying to double dip, what that means is getting benefits from both states only because our Louisiana residents come and do things like this, not my problem Im from Louisiana Im not Louisiana. I still have not received foodstamps for me and my family I filed complaints and all I hope someone takes care of this issue because I know I am not the only person who was treated by poorly by some of these women and whats funny it was Louisiana residents who did my interview.. but any hated the experience they need more caring people doing jobs like this. Tx do better

People there are rude plus they dont have a mask on...I felt unsecure been there.

When I went to the Texas Department of Human Services the process will get in my food stamps card or EBT card was very easy and simple the lady helps me to cancel the card that came in the mail, then she help me to set up the car and set up a four digit PIN card over the phone and the lady at the reception was very helpful she even helped to speed up the process. as I got to say the food stamp office was not even crowded either it was nice the process of things worse mood and I loved it.

Hello TDHR, I am trying to report a comment that one of your employees made today. I would have NEVER imagined that an employee would be telling an elder client to LEARN ENGLISH because SPANISH is not a major language in the United States. I find this EXTREEMLY disgusting and racist coming from an office that focuses most of its buisness in 2nd ward Houston.I will be looking to make this situation right hoping that TRICIA working window #4 will be taken off the front desk counters. I feel like our community deserves better. I am also genuinely hoping that this isnt what your service entails, such as throwing opinions towards clients that are thoughtless and disrespectfull.

Not the best, today we tried to apply for medicaid. The secretary made ugly faces as soon we turned in all of the paper work, which was organized. Then while waiting for the printer to be ready, she was checking her facebook infront of us. However, after talking to the manager and getting attended by another secretary everything went pretty well. :)

Well I have taken my sister a few times to get her little girl Medicaid she has a 16 year old girl and a 2 year girl so she doesnt ask for much she doesnt get food stamps or anything else shes a single mom and the guy that is in the front that translates to Spanish is always rude and in a bad mood and starts talking to my sister really loud or any other person there because he has to explain to my sister how it works and what to fill up I cant help her that much because i dont have kids and I dont know how the place works well at the beginning now I now what to do so now we are fine ...
