Gia does a wonderful job on my Acrylic nails! I come in with internet pictures of what I want and she DOES A WONDERFUL job making it match the best we can! She takes her time, and is a very pleasant gal! I have gone here only twice and Will never go anywhere else again

Been going here for years and never disappointed. Logan & Chelsea are awesome. Always a friendly environment with laughs. 100% comfortable going in for a manicure or pedicure. Both of them as well as the other employees are talented & creative.

Went with my friend, they smudged her nail and the lady plainer the second smudge of my friends even tho it happened while doing her nail. my girl was nice. they aren’t very good at speaking english and hard to understand. came out okay. my friends nail art had a smile on it and it went around way to far she did not follow the picture.

Called at noon for 330 appointment. Staff were fun, and attentive. Made great suggestions, and did exactly as I asked. This was my first time in, and I am very pleased!

I LOVE IT when these nail techs actually listen to what you want and in result I definitely got what I payed for.... so good, someone on my fb got her nails done just like mine (somewhere else thougu) a week after I posted about mine! Terrible. This place is extremely overpriced and the employees are very rude and make you feel unwelcome. My services were very rushed as the lady sped through my manicure and pedicure. Absolutely zero stars. Never again.

Absolutely loved the way my nails came out! I was able to just walk in without an appointment on a Wednesday. Exactly how I wanted and the woman who did mine even helped me with design ideas. However I’m giving 4 stars because my sister in law went with me and the man who did hers made her bleed a lot. He kept cutting her and would just say “sorry” but continue to hit the same spot. Her nails really hurt afterwards. I guess as long as you don’t get him you’ll be good. Also $108 for both of us so super good price!

There is not enough room to share all the things I found when here but what I will say is this. I was told about this place from a friend of mine. She told me she really liked this place and her nails looked beautiful. Well I never go by the looks of the work, that never tells me the whole story. Since we both are in the beauty field it must be good. Well either it was a way off day for one of the two people I had or this is normal practice of what I observed thru my two services. Noticed many non sanitary practices and no sanitation between clients. But what blew me away, in all my years of receiving manicures plus working in salons and spas, I have never seen a manicure preformed without a hand massage and that there is what I received today. $35 dollars for a manicure with gel polish and no hand massage. Wow!!

Gia is so awesome! I had a pedicure that was so amazing and soothing it was the best pedicure ever! She gave me the best new set that came out so perfect! I explained to her exactly what I wanted and thats exactly what she gave me. She was so awesome I highly recommend her this place is the best! Thanks so much! Also a big thank you to Pina for giving my husband his very first pedicure! He was super nervous about getting one and was so pleased with the soothing and relaxing pedicure and manicure that Pina gave him! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!

First time here and I was very happy with the service and my nails! I would highly recommend this place over others in Forest Lake. Ive had some issues at 2 of the other places and have not been satisfied. Happy to find a good place to go!

Well I enjoy going there they do a very good job I usually have ingrown toenails and they take care of them so I have nothing to complain about its not cheap but they do a wonderful job very pleased

The service here is amazing! The staff are all very good and very professional. I got me a pink ombre set done and the tech did a fantastic job! My nails were beautiful and all in perfect shaped. Plus she gave me a great massage and it felt so good. It was a great experience and I will be back for sure

I really like this place. Prices are comparable to other salons and the techs seem up to date on nail trends/shapes and are good at following requests. They also have an AMAZING selection of nail colors and dip powders. Really impressed with this salon- been here 4 times and will keep returning.

This is my go-to place and I always recommend this salon to everyone I know. Pricing is reasonable, the staff does an incredible job every time, and I always have great conversations with everyone there. My family, friends, and I have never had an unpleasant experience here and I absolutely recommend anyone reading this to try this salon.

Im still giving it 4 stars for the loyalty I feel to this place, but the past few times Ive gotten a pedicure, despite calling ahead and no one else getting pedicures, Ive felt like Ive been rushed in and rushed out. It makes me sad to say, but I barely get to put my feet in the water and relax (and watch Ellen!) That being said, all the employees are very kind and good at what they do. My nails never chip or smudge, and my nails always looked perfect when I got manicures. The chairs are nice and everythings clean. I still would suggest them.

I went in today, I get tips with dip powder and I haven’t had a better set of nails like this.She listened to what I wanted and took the time to make them smooth and perfect. I will be back, great service .

We had two appointments at the same time. The older lady was carefully got my sister pedicure done, but the younger one was rushed and didn’t do a nice job. In Vietnamese the younger lady asked the older one why she would take so long doing pedicure! At the end one got tip and the other didn’t! We would not go back due to the lousy service from younger one! Don’t want her lousy work and service!

Busy day but they are Amazing and has a great attitude so up beat with all the chaos that was going on that day and all the people that kept coming in, The place a has a large variety of nails, colors and treatments. I use to get my nails done and they were always to thick, these are not at all. I love them and will definitely be going back.

Wonderful customer service!! The lady who did my nails did an incredible job. She took her time and made sure every part of it was perfect but still did it in a reasonable amount of time. I asked for coffin style acrylics, which I assume is hard to do, but theyre beautiful! I even kinda messed the polish on a couple fingers at the end and she was so nice about it. I told her she didnt have to fix them because it was my fault, but she did anyway. Theyre open later than most and the prices are really nice, especially compared to the other places around here!!

Theyre rushy when you first walk in, even though they have walk-ins welcome painted all over their Windows they do not make you feel welcomed. do not feel welcomed you feel rushed to pick a color, they do talk to you pretty while youre getting your nails done was not happy with my nails very thick acrylic on top. She did pinched my cuticles a few times had to pull my hand away because she was filing too hard. Not worth the price you pay.

I love this place I have tried so many nail places around my area and this is the only one I keep going back to! They do what I ask! And I love getting my toes done here. So many options for colors and they are by far the best place to go to for a design.

So incredibly disappointing. I was in and out in like 15 minutes, even after asking for the hot stone pedicure. No one was friendly or even courteous. I will definitely NOT go back to 1st Nails and Spa.

Nice place. Always seem to care for my family when we come. Waited quite a while last time, but we had four people for pedicures. We called ahead, but they only had 3 staff on that Sunday. Still, we go often.

My sister Alice and I went in August and it was a great experience. Very clean and comfortable setting and nice and efficient staff. Logan, who did my pedicure, did an excellent job. We are going back this week and taking my youngest daughter too.

They did a great job. I got a full set of acrylic nails . I have received many compliments on how beautiful my nails look.

Would give no stars but that is not possible. Last time I was here they ripped my cuticles. I had big cuts on 4 out of 10 fingers. I decided to give the place another try and my impression of them did not change. 3 cuticles were cut and sore. Then when I asked if they massage the hands and arms with lotion she said no and pointed out where the lotion is so I could do it myself. .... that is half of the fun when gettung a pedicure.. .. I will never return!

Easily the worst manicure Ive ever received. The woman was very rough when clipping my cuticles. She had awful brush skills, and would dig her nails into my cuticles (which she had just clipped too short so they were raw) after every single brush stroke to ge the extra polish off of my skin. She didnt get all the polish off of my skin, so my manicure looks super sloppy. She didnt give any type of hand massage, and didnt put any lotion on my hands. I left with raw, sore fingers, dry hands, and bubbled, uneven gel polish.

The light for the gel nails didnt seem to be working, my 1 hand had to be repainted 3 times and there ended up being bubbles. My nail tech mustve been over it, or had an appointment coming because she told me to come back if it chipped....it did immediately, but I didnt feel like going back. The other customers in the salon were very snotty and rude which was weird, I dont know if that speaks to the environment or not.

I came here with my mom because my co worker recommended it since she lives in forest lake too. Quality in service and manicure was terrible compared to what she has told me and what I have seen her nails look like. The woman doing my nails was in a rush, we called ahead of time asking if they had time and they said they did? So why the rush. After she was done with the top coat she got and mumbled thank you so I assumed after that last cure of the gel was ok and that she was done. Then she proceeds to make fun of me with her people for not knowing I was supposed to put my nails in the light the second time. They didnt even wipe my nails with alcohol after like they are supposed to do to remove the sticky layer. And they started laughing because we asked if they massage your hands after the manicure.. When they have done at every other salon Ive gone too.

Gross. This place is filthy. My manicure looked awful and splotchy and streaky. I didnt even get a hand massage. I would never go back or recommend.

The lady who did my nails was crabby and rude throughout my entire visit. She even forgot to put a topcoat on my nails...

It was clean...the lady didnt speak one word to me the entire time...no lotion or hand massage...just file...clean up the nails...polish and out the door...sadly Ill go somewhere else next time...
