I would not even give this company one star like many other unhappy customers.we are an old customer of Schindler for many years. we have a contract and are paying Schindler $2,968 per year.Maybe we use them once our twice a year. Never late for any payment.On our last service call Schindler charged us $638.68.It took few minutes for technician to check the faults system and confirmed that everything was fine.Our elevator was working. our fire alarm went off and we wanted to make sure the system is fine.We have been calling Schindler to ask them about this OUTRAGEOUS, shocking bill and ask about our contract.No one is returning our phone calls.This is an automatic response to all bad reviews:Response from the owner:Hi ........., Were sorry to hear about your experience and will look into this further for you. We have Schindler as our elevator service provider for over 20 years and they have done an outstanding job throughout this time. They are proactive and keep our elevators (4) safe and functioning properly through preventative maintenance programs and they also respond quickly to any unexpected issues we have. Their service team is always professional, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

We have been a customer of Schindler since 2008. Our renewal was in May and I was unable to reach someone at the Houston Office. After many calls I did reach a woman named Jillian. We negotiated a new contract. Check was sent and checked. I returned the contract. I started receiving past due notices. I contacted the name on the invoice. She stated she would contact the Houston office about the past due bills that we did not owe. I have left Jillian many many emails and calls ...NOT one has been returned. I have continued to receive past due notices. Today I received notices for the entire contract. That has been paid. I again have left messages for Jullian. My next step will be to contact the TV station about this problem.

Like many others, no one at Schindler Elevator answers phones (and many have no voicemail) and the elevator at Camden Royal Oaks has not been operational for many weeks. Can someone tell us why? Is Camden Royal Oaks at 11805 Meadowglen Ln, Houston TX 77082 at the bottom of your list of priorities?Residents have lost patience. Emergency repair says I need to contact building mgt. but building mgt just saysd we put in a work order. Is your contract service optional?In any case, the current situation is unacceptable bc we have people with mobility issues. If you could tell us why the delay and when we can expect service, it will help residents maintain patience. No response or inadequate response will not be a good thing.

47 days since a tech came out and ordered a part for us. Have made multiple phone calls for an update and keep getting told different reasons by different people. A tech finally came out to repair on day 44. He left and its still not working. Apparently they now have to order another part thats broken.not even sure if the 1st part was even the issue but of course they will charge me for both. Unacceptable.

My experience with Schindler from 2007 to 2021 overall is not satisfying. Not exactly what I expect from a precision company with Swiss roots. There is huge potential for improvement!!!

Unsure how this company is still in business if none on their customers can get in contact with them. I have left them at least 5 voicemails and probably a dozen emails and still havent received a response. Customer service is just as useless as the local office. Please save your time and go somewhere else.

The most pathetic excuse of an elevator company. They could not find their a## holes with a regiment of Marines. No disrespect to our men in arms. Signed a contract in Sept of 2017 and after 6 months of emails, calling, on the brink of cussing them out, finally got it and now trying to double charge me again. Please do yourself a favor and go with the professionals, call Otis.Would give them a minus 5 if able.Larry

Schindler elevator company not only has poor work, high cost and poor customer service, but also the maintenance never seems to cover anything and everything has an additional cost.They AUTO renew contract for 10 years, what? 10 years? They do not warn you that your agreement is about to expire and stick you with another 10 years of high cost. Repairs never seem to be covered by this 10 year contract and always seem to cost extra.DO NOT sign any agreement or contract with them. There are many better companies in Houston, AVOID this one.Update from Oct. 26 2018, someone provides me a corporate email from Schindler, so I did sent email to them, and of course they never response.

This company doesnt take its client business into consideration. Weve been without elevator service for 2 weeks after they came out and broke it. Were a super high volume business and it has affected our clients tremendously! I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone with a high operating business or you will lose revenue! And no I will not email you a customer service review. Im filing a complaint with the State of Texas against your License and Regulation. Enough SAID!

1 star only because I cant post a zero or a negative 1. The customer service at this company is absolutely horrid. They dont have the common courtesy to return a voicemail. Multiple calls to get an answer for service calls get blown off by salespeople who just make excuses for their shoddy workmanship. Do yourself a favor and go with Otis.

Hi, I would give a 0, if I could, you can see the trend of terrible service. They wont honor a contract, I signed, they say your bill will be 4 as much now, rude unprofessional, and total A holes.shocking, and Techs are rude also, and dont come in the day when called.

Their employees are rude, always on the phone during the elevator installation on the job site, they dont listen to their supervisors, they dont cooperate to help the client to get ready for the state inspection. DO NOT hire this guys, there other companies you can hire and youll have less headhcaes.
