Please avoid this place like the plague! I have never been spoken to with such utter disdain by anyone in customer service in my life. Before I even spoke I was greeted with a tone that told me very clearly that I was an annoyance and a waste of their time. I simply asked about documentation of my family members passing and was half laughed at while being told I dont do that. . I have been mourning my loved ones passing and speaking to this representative who is supposed to understand grief and loss made me relive the trauma of losing my loved one all over again because of the representatives clear disdain for anyone who would dare interrupt her day with a question. When I asked a follow-up question to try to get some kind of information on what my options were or where to go I was responded to with an incredibly dismissive Nope. When I called back to speak to a Pete Ross about this situation the same representative doubled down on being rude and unhelpful to me. I am appalled by the sheer lack of human decency that was shown to me. I have been told that the manager will be calling me back, but based on the other reviews I have seen here I sincerely doubt that it will happen. Please find somewhere else to assist with your familys needs. The heartbreak of losing a loved one should not be accompanied by a frankly cruel and disgusting service experience from the funeral home.Foundation Partners and Pete Ross are the devil!

My youngest brother passed away 1600 miles away from me so I had no idea what to expect from this funeral home. Erin not only sent important emails to my oldest brother, but also gave me her work and personal cell number and told me I could call any time. Julie set me up with grief texts that also helped. My husband went up there to get my brothers ashes and death certificates and was treated with respect from everyone he encountered. Its hard enough dealing with the loss of a family member, but being in a different state had me worried. They put all of my worries at ease and treated us like family.

Such kind caring respectful staff. We didn’t have to worry about anything they took care of it all thank you again so much!! God bless you all

We pre-planned Moms funeral and Erin made a difficult process so much easier. Michael Lobb and everyone at Betz has been amazing for my family and I as we have navigated the loss of our beloved Mom. She passed in late January but with Covid and so many unknowns we opted for a celebration of life ceremony later in the year. We were mourning her loss for some time and to be honest I half expected it to be difficult to plan because the funeral homes would be attending to so many others and even more recent but to my surprise and thankfulness I was completely wrong! Michael was kind and thoughtful and attentive as if no time had passed at all. We had a remarkable day to celebrate a woman who truly deserves all the blessings Heaven has to offer. Thank you on behalf of my family and myself for making this possible…being out of town could have also added challenges but not with Michael and the staff at Betz. We can honestly say they were the same when my father past several years ago and based on both experiences I can honestly understand why they lead in the area. Thank you again Michael and team❤️

Betz, Rossi and Bellinger handled a difficult and sad situation with professional and compassion. Sydney showed a true understanding for my needs.

The staff is excelent from begining to end of everything. They put the familys needs 1st. Everyone is excelent.

Marty took such care and concern for we as a family, but most of all complete respect for our mom.

Pete and his staff have no clue what they are doing. Unless Pete has a personal vendetta against me. Everything I asked for couldnt be done, and the staff were very rude. Foundation Partners are a bunch of money hogs. Betz Funeral Home isnt family owned like their website says. Pete will say he doesnt know who I am, but he does dont let him fool you.

We met with Pete Rose who helped us with everything concerning Paul’s funeral. He was fantastic. He informed us about how the burial at the Saratoga National Cemetery would be conducted and how we would plan for a celebration of Paul’s life this Summer due to the pandemic. While we were meeting with Pete a number of staff stopped by to give their condolences, which I thought was very nice of them. Also, Julie has been texting me to make sure I am okay. I am very impressed by how caring they have been to me during this difficult time.

During the most difficult times in our lives, staff were compassionate, understanding, kind, caring and loving! All were so very supportive and attentive to our needs, not just Baileys immediate family, but the whole extended families. Most of our time was spent with Marty, and words cannot express enough our appreciation for all he did and continues to do for our family. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

I must say that compassionate is an understatement when it comes to this funeral home. Michael and Erin were absolutely amazing through everything. Erin you set the perfect example of what it really means to go above and beyond for a family in pain. Michael you have truly amazing people working with you. Thank you all for everything! Thank you to Michael Lobb (Funeral Director). When my father (Alexander Mathes) passed away in Florida, I knew I needed to reach out to Michael. He previously helped with the passing of my mom and other loved ones. He quickly relieved me of all my pressure, making the arrangements to have the cremains delivered plus all of the arrangements for the burial and small service at the cemetery. He is carrying, compassionate and treats you like family!

I was blown away by the respectfulness of all of your staff. I can tell how compassionate you all are for those who are grieving. I went to a wake a few months ago and was speechless with how amazing it was handled. Thank you for taking such good care of people.

I recently lost my mother and Im so grateful for Ninja Sagerese. She made the process of dealing with the loss and a funeral home as easy as one could. She is an absoulute amazing human being especially during such a devasting time. She was very sensitive to my needs.

I really miss my sister and her passing was very difficult. We were lost and didnt know what to do. No one teaches you how to handle a death and how to organize a funeral. We didnt know how to navigate the life insurance or anything. Pete Rose took time and helped us traverse the maze we found ourselves lost in. The funeral was beautiful and they did everything they could to help us customize it to make it special. I know my sister would have been happy and it gave us a sense of closure. They were very professional even when we struggled with our grief. They helped us with all of our concerns. We are very thankful for their help through this difficult time.

Losing my sister-in-law was very difficult. She was only 41. The funeral home was very helpful. The man who came to get her was very nice and understanding. All the employees were very nice. We had some confusion orginally, but Pete Rose helped us get everything sorted out. The funeral itself was very nice and they let us even have dolphin pictures play on the projector. My sister in law liked dolphins. We were able to pick songs that she liked to play and everyone was very professional. Sidney was one of the people who helped us and she could tell that my mother in law was having a hard time with the holidays coming (Christmas and Thanksgiving). At the end of the funeral Sidney read a beautiful poem that was very touching. The funeral home worked hard to help us with all our concerns and even when we didnt understand, they made the effort to reach out to make sure things were satisfactory.

Any time Ive gone there its been clean and welcoming. There are greeters at the door ready to respond to any request. In the parking lot there are people opening doors and directing traffic keeping every detail organized. Inside the staff are working efficiently to make sure the hardest day of your life goes as smoothly as possible. Thank you so much to Ninja and Jessica for being so kind and caring. Youre all the best at what you do and you make a nightmare bareable.

The staff is very caring and understanding of what families are going through when a loved one passes on. They try to make it as easy as possible and address the needs to lessen the burden on the family. A special thank you to Pete Rose who has kindly been present to help with all of our concerns.

The staff and everyone were really helpful and caring and did above and beyond to comfort my family and myself during our time of grief...I tell everyone my story about their help with my 6 small grandkids that needed to understand their papa was gone..I will use them again...Thank you for all you and your staff did for our comfort...

My family member is not buried yet and Im already unsatisfied with the service and outrageous cost that I have already paid Betz Funeral Home! Oh and FYI, they are not a family funeral home, they are owned byFoundation Partners, a multi-million dollar money machine.And dont let Manager Pete Rose ride you like a fool. He will steel what ever he can get from you and your family.

I am so mad . Was there for a viewing for my friends mother. Got there at 6:30 unaware that the viewing was at 7 our fault. But we were told there were no viewings here. Thought we had wrong funeral parlor. WRONG! He was just too lazy to tell us we were early. Very sad and very disappointing . My wife was so sad she was unable to be there for her friend. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Betz and Rossi especially Ninja for all of there work and dedication. In the most toughest of times she has been able to put at ease the grieving souls of our mourning families. She has given hope to those that thought there was no hope. She has put a delicate touch on what we see as the last moments and resting place for our loved ones. She has shown grieving families that there is hope beyond a loss and that with an open mind we can still keep our loved ones by allowing them to rest. In the last two months I have gotten the privilege to work with her and at that moment it was some of the hardest moments of my life losing two loved ones, but she has made it that much simpler. Her attention to detail and her attentiveness to the things that are asked of her are beyond belief. I cannot put into words how I feel about her and how she supported our families. I commend her for her efforts and her dedication. She is and will always be someone that I would go to for a loss in my family. I live in Arizona. After losing my Mom in June in California I needed help making arrangements to bring her “home” to join my Dad. The task seemed daunting and stressful . Michael Lobb at Betz Funeral Home took care of everything. He took all the stress away! The level of service is unparalleled.
