I’ve lived here since 2019 and I was good in the beginning until recently roaches are becoming a problem. I get pest control to come every week and the pest problem isn’t getting any better. I’m tired of living with the vast amount of roaches that are coming about it’s very bad so, I will be leaving soon.I don’t recommend anyone to live here because who wants to live with a bunch of roaches and unsecured gated living on top of that. Although, nothing has gotten broken into and I’m not saying I don’t fell safe. I’m just saying the gate constantly not working is a big issue in general.They also haven’t upgraded anything for the two years I’ve been here such as, the mail system or locks on door and anything inside the apartment like light bulbs etc.I agree with the reviews not begin accurate because they do offer gift cards to residents to give good reviews.

First time apartment renter here. I have been pleasantly happy with my first month stay. They offered a special so that was nice. My apartment is spacious and has a good sized closet for it being a studio. The dog park is fun for my dog in the morning and evening. I do wish people would pick up after their dog though (on the grass areas) it is not hard and they have multiple pet waste stations with the bags provided(: Other than that I’m happy to be living in a good location that is convenient to me!

Just leased a very elegant Apartment Home from Pointe at Steeplechase and was treated like a VIP from start to finish! Maria made the whole experience flow easily and explained all the details no matter how small.If you are looking for an Upscale Apartment Home that is in a great area, do not hesitate to call the Leasing professionals at Pointe at Steeplechase! Very excited!

Moved in about a year ago not a single problem, i love the place and location very clean. Leasing office ladies are so friendly. I highly remommend this place.

The staff is awesome. Maria and Brenda are some of the most helpful me Ive ever met. There is always parking available. The area is very nice, calm, and safe. I had no problems with payment and no pest issues. This place rocks! I actually forgot to turn in my notice to move out, and they let me stay a few extra days (with payment of course) and they were so kind and nice about it. If I could give them a tip or a raise, I SURELY WOULD! Keep doing what youre doing. The neighbors are very social and cordial; no problems there. The pool is always clean. GREAT PLACE TO STAY! 10 STARS ON MY BEHALF!

I really enjoyed living here. The location is really close to 290. The management company is constantly having resident events. Which is really nice because it shows the effort they do to show residents they care for us. If I had any service request they were completed in a timely manner. The maintenance staff is always happy and says HI. The office staff Maria, Brenda and Biby are always very informative, kind and professional. I only moved because I purchased a home otherwise I would have renewed for a 3rd year!!! The apartment I had, had a very nice patio with washer and dryer connections. Parking was always available. I highly recommend.

Since Ive moved to Houston 2 years ago this has been by far the best apartment experience Ive encountered thus far! The staff are beyond friendly and accommodating! Any issues Ive experienced with this property has been fixed within a 2 hour timeframe which is surprising for maintenance. The property is clean and well kept and the community is very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend!!!

I been living at these about since February, & I love living here,very quiet, & the maintenance men are excellent, also the ladies in the front offices,they are very concern about your well being.The staff always let you know ahead of time whats going on in the community. I thought that it was very consider of them to have a food bank come to give out food & meals to families & the sake of our children. I came to USA with family for the 1st time and looking for apartment in Jones Road.I saw the apartment in Feb and moved within couple of days, even though I did not have credit score they offered me to rent with extra charge but they gave discount for moving in quickly.I love living here as it is well maintained and peaceful; Maintenance team work like a family, helping each other and attending the concerns and are Prompt.Ladies @ Front Desk are very caring, friendly and accountable.They have many events/activities happening almost every month and this creates a sense of belongingness.For the amenities and locality it has the Best Price!. Would highly recommend!!

Why I Love living here in The Community At The Pointe At Steeplechase! lets start by sayingMy apt is Like no other because i take pride in where i live! my apt home is beautifully decorated and with the many floorplans that are offered here im sure my neighbors can boast about their homes as well 😁with all upgrades that includes coordinating appliances, faux hardwood floors that are easy to maintain, spacious bed and bathrooms and not to mention my private patio i like to call my outside oasis ! and last but not least its the ppl around me my neighbors and the friendly staff who are caring,and the hard working maintenance team that keeps everything running smoothly.

The staff is amazing and absolutely understanding. They have different event they do throughout the year for the kids and adults to enjoy. Cy-Hope Ministry also comes here twice a week to help kids with homework. I would recommend this place to anyone.Chastity Perkins

I enjoy living here. The bill included option is lovely. I will, however, point out that the staff was unwilling to work with me DURING A PANDEMIC when I was furloughed from my job. I am now in eviction court proceedings even though I’m paid current after having to wait for my unemployment to come through.Very unsympathetic to a single dad from out of state of a special needs son DURING A PANDEMIC!Until COVID came about I would have easily recommended this place. Now, in light of heartlessness, I would no longer give a reco.

The office staff is actually pretty great. They give several opportunities to win little raffles and other things for the residents.My one complaint is the age of the property, which shows even though there have been some updates. I think the property would benefit from more options, like covered parking and some apartment upgrades like backslash and cabinets or fixtures. Parking in general is a tough one but more reserved parking would be a great idea.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! It’s a complete scam. I was told prior to moving in that it wasn’t any roaches. What do I have, an apartment completely infected with roaches!Crime, every time you pull out of the apartments gate, there is always an incident with police.I went to the office to print, Maria tells me it’s $1.00 a page. I asked, when did it change. Her response is “we can change it whenever we want”. Like are you serious???I asked for corporates number and they claim there isn’t one.Update: Oh, by the way, they bribe residents to leave a 4/5 star review for a chance to win a gift card. So don’t believe everything you see.

I have been lived almost one year in this apartment. It’s wonderful to stay with quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The staff members are helpful and friendly. And, we got free food supplies every week during this hardship. I’m thankful to the food bank and also all the staffs who kindly offering services. Your service is priceless for us . Thank you!

Hello! I wanted to write a review on my apartment complex to tell you how happy I am that I moved here. When I applied for this apartment I needed a place quick. With the pandemic Covid-19 I could no longer rent a room. Maria in the office helped me every step of the way. With the virus and all I had to view the apartment virtually online, sign my lease, and pay for registration etc. Im very fortunate that Im in the building so close to laundry mat, mail box, pool, and corner store. People are friendly here they speak and a lot of the times when I take my trash out one of my gentleman neighbors takes it from me and takes it the rest of the way. My apartment has no roaches or any issues. Maintence men wave or speak every time they see me. This is truly where I belong! Oh and you have your own laundry card that you put money on from your debit card. No getting a roll of quarters! I could keep going on! LOL! I highly recommend this place to call home!

By far the best apartments in the area with a great office ladies who are always happy to help, they greet you with a smile and will go about and beyond on helping you. I was in need to find an apartment and move quickly. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even stayed after closing to make sure i got my application in the day I came in. They answered all my questions and expedited my application. I met my move deadline with time to spare! Wonderful staff! Beautiful property!

I’m currently live in this apartment... and lost my motorcycle near to exit gate suppose to park IN THE SPOT and it’s stolen.i ask for CCTV footage from cameras and they newer reply me for footage even police ask for it for investigation..one of office girl said it’s not with them it was with some OTHER company and second day went and some ONE ELS said manager have to look at it it’s in managers room and she also newer reply.... i wish it will happen to them then they realizes how it hurts.. i still don’t have a clue what happen to my motorcycle who took it.. the cameras in front probably is fake..NO SECURITY IN THIS PROPERTY AT ALL...

I have been living here for a year now! I felt right at home, when I filled out the application. Everyone in the office is outstanding. Never had any problems at all. And if I do, I know its gonna be taken cared of ASAP! I would recommend, anyone to live here! Everyone, that works here, knows your name! And I love that. Recently moved here, no issues so far. All staff members are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The complex is generally always quiet, parking hasnt been an issue, and the pools are always open except during maintenance which is nice during the heat!

I moved here last month. Frosty from Mortal Kombat y I really like the maintenance staff. They do reply to my maintenance needs in a timely manner. They are really professional too and caring. I just recommend visitors and residents to park somewhere else instead of parking in reserved spots. Two carros got towed out of my reserved spot so far. Stop it timey! I have been living at The Pointe at Steeplechase for the past year and have had a very pleasant experience. The staff in the office are always so helpful and very responsive. The complex is very quiet and filled with families and cute pets. Visitor parking is the only thing that I have ever had an issue with, but that is an issue that most apartments seem to have. I have renewed my lease and look forward to another great year.

I have enjoyed living at the Pointe at Steeplechase for the past 2 years. The complex is well kept and the residents are very quiet and polite. The front office staff have always been very responsive and extremely helpful. The units are well maintained and a great value. The only reason that I am leaving is because I am getting married and my fiance owns a home. I will dearly miss my apartment and the ladies in the front office. This has been the best experience that I have ever had as a renter. I would definitely recommend this complex!

We decided to lease a one bedroom apartment by the second pool area at a higher rate than the other one bedrooms but it has been 2 years now and till this day we havent been able to use the pool due to always being closed and to top it all off the gym area is either always closed or something is not working, the weights are missing. Every time I call to see why the pool or gym have not be open I get excuses!! If things continue like this, seriously thinking about moving out sooner then we planned or hope that management cares enough about their reviews/Residents and do something not to keep losing them.

I was struggling to find a place to live after Harvey and was able to move in a couple weeks after applying. The office was very nice through all my questions & were very helpful/understanding during a time I was trying to get back on my feet. My neighbors are all nice and quiet. The kids that run around playing are very sweet & respectful as well which is always a plus!

These apartments were really decent when I moved in September of 2018. They have gone down hill since then. The people above us are loud and jumping on the floor all day until midnight sometimes. Recently we have started smelling weed in our apartment every day. I’d suggest not moving in here. Now we are stuck here. We talk to the office about the problems and nothing is done about them.

Yes ONE star! I went to this place today in hopes to lease a 2 bedroom. However, since I arrived at 1 pm the staff was at lunch. There was a sign saying they would be back at 2 pm which was fine. So I waited.....and waited....AND WAITED! I was not alone, I stood there with a heavy pregnant woman who was coming to pick up her keys to move in. She was pissed that she picked this place and wasnt even moved in yet. The staff didnt show up until 3:27 pm. By that time I was no longer interested in renting here. Sucks for them, I was ready to pay my lease out in full on move in. I tried to call corporate but I got no answer. Gladly Landing at Steeplechase has better management right across the street. Cant wait to move in!

The Pointe has my home for one year . I am very satisfied with the service and maintenance, no issues with parking. The area is very nice and quiet. I recommend 100%. 😀😀

I have lived here for almost 3 years. A new management company took over several months ago and have made many new changes from repainting (inside and out), remodeling, repairing the parking lots and driveways and just overall improved the complex 200%. I would also like to say the Manager and Office personnel are always friendly, helpful and professional. Any maintenance I have needed was handled quickly and did the repair right and not just patched. I highly recommend The Point.

What I like about this property is how quiet it is and everyone is super friendly the staff are amazing!!!! Usually at apartments complex at least one staff is rude no they are all EXTREMELY COOL!! they always keep you updated and they are always willing to answer any questions I’ve lived here for two years going on three and any time I ever had a problem they fixed it immediately maintenance are always on it I don’t have to wait an hour or two and if I do they call and explain for the delay and the pools are amazing they are always cleaned the grounds always look well kept and did I mention SO QUIET!!! Ive lived in the west half of the complex for 3 years, Ive never had a roach or rodent problem. Never had an issue with crime. Most people keep to themselves. Parking is an issue, there arent always enough spaces. The buildings are old but maintenance is pretty good. Management can be an issue, theres a lot of turnover. If your on a budget Id recommend this place.

I hadnt been moved a whole week and the water pipe in the wash room burst and I called emergency maintenance. Assuming it would take while for a call back, to my surprise Victor was there not even 5min after I left the message for help. It was 9pm. He worked diligently replaced the pipe and vacuumed the water. Very impressed.

Since Ive been living in these apartments I have not had any issues. They are very kind and I love how they interact with the living community on a consistent level. I moved here from Illinois and had no friends or family when I came, they had thanksgiving dinner, Christmas party for the kids, and even Mothers Day they made me feel so noticed and not alone. Coming here was definitely a home away from home (Illinois) these ladies are a very friendly staff, and awesome Cooks !!! They had a week for free swimming lessons for the community!! My son learned to swim because of them, I have also met new friends due to their community social functions!! I love living here!!!

This is the best Apt Complex in Houston. Great Management they take great Care of you. Help you out when ever you need it. The pools are always clean and nice looking it is a quite place for you and your family to live best one I live lived in in a long time.

I move back to Houston and I spoke to mariana and Brenda over the phone they were so helpful getting me get a lease for my apartment by faxing over the documents and pay check stubs and new job offer letter, this way I was moving in the same day i arrived after singing the lease.the both of them are great at there jobs, and maintain the property well.anything I call about getting fix both times It was taking care of right away. this property is very clean. I plain to stay here until Im able to obtain home ownership...

Well my backup gas saver car was towed in the middle of the night because of the parking situation here. Quick $200 gone from the account and there’s literally nothing I can do about it. Can’t buy a spare permit because they won’t let me pay for one (seriously I asked) because it apparently takes away from other resident parking. Yet, I’m told that I’m supposed to park the spare car in visitors. Now wouldn’t that take away from actual visitors that need to park? The ONLY way to get one is if 2 people are on the lease and you had 2 cars at the beginning of the lease. Even if I wanted to use a visitor spot, I can’t because they are filled up by people’s work vehicles by the time I get off. The only other place I can park is outside the gate. In the front. Far from my view. Prone to a break in. And when it happens, all I’m gonna get is a sorry and there’s nothing we can do. I’m basically SOL. This is the only complex that I’ve had this problem. So every time I call a new complex, I make sure I ask about parking. Hopefully I don’t get towed again until move out date

I love this place !!! Rent is very low and unit has wood floor and real granite countertop for under $800/mo cant beat that. And staff is nice and friendly. Neighbors are great, no crime. This place cleaned up well... I love my home.

I been living in this apartments for almost 10 yrs. great community, nice neighbors. Office lady’s always so attentive and when it comes to work orders the maintenance guys are on top of it.

Apartments are in bad shape, every month random people come into my apartment for inspection because they are trying to sell this dump. Trash is always stacked outside the dumpster, bums dig through trash daily, maintenance doesnt speak/understand English so its fun explaining the issue which never gets fixed, different manager every other month, cops always here looking for fugitives, management has no control over anything, mostly populated with Hispanics who dont follow rules or clean after themselves, cars always broken into, I got off work late one night and was offered drugs on the walk to my apartment, lots of gangsters live here be careful when you walk and dont look at people as you might get shot. Bad place to live unless your a criminal. Not a safe family living environment.

Mariana is a PEACH! Omg...so, let me start from the beginning. I was pleased when I was offered an early move in date when I came in to bring in my deposit. I moved in three weeks early at her prompting and I am so glad I did. The staff is so helpful... I love it here. Today I had a problem with my locks, and the maintenance staff was unavailable. Mariana answered the phone when I called in the morning and by the time I got home my lock was fixed. Now talk about going above and beyond.

I lived there 2 yrs and told them about the mold in there air vents . And it took them 4-6 months to clean it . And every time I keep asking when they will clean it . They say there going to . And 6 months after I told them . They finally cleaned it . And the other day someone stolen license plate . . Don’t get me wrong there nice apartments. But there’s a lot of mischief going on. And I’m sure there’s ppl that live there that’s not on the lease

I’m new to the Houston area and I’ve been living at Pointe at Steeplechase for about 4 months now. I love it here. All places have their ups and downs. There are a few things but they are tolerable. I love how everything is super close by HEB, Kroger, 99 cent and ALDI. There are a lot of convenient stores for shopping/groceries. First thing, in no particular order, there are very few spots for visitor parking. If i come home late it is hard finding a parking spot for myself or a visitor. The entrance/exit gate is opened majority of the time. Making it easy for crazies to enter. The main pool is closed a lot. Which is the pool closer to me. There’s always something wrong. I can always walk to the other. Trash man comes around 2am- 3am wakes me up in the middle of the night. I can also here when my neighbors turn the water on to shower or flush the toilet. It is kinda of loud. I stay on the 2nd floor. The floors are very light. You have to walk soft. But like I said these things aren’t too bad. They have done maintenance request in a reasonable time. They send emails to let tenants know what is going on and what is going to be done. I would definitely renew my lease here. I’m not complaining. I went off of reviews so I leaving one for the next. If I could give this place NO STARS I would. This place is a maintenance and pest disaster. Maintenance responds minimally 1 week -2 weeks to complaints. On several occasions my daughters food in the fridge (on 2 occasions I had just gone grocery shopping) spoiled due to the fridge going out. Since my daughters occupation here (almost 1 year) her fridge has gone out 4 times and has been replaced 4 times. I advised her to warn them that it must be an electrical issue since every fridge they brought stopped working. I have called the Corporate Management to complain (as she was not aggressive enough) and NEVER received ANY communication back from them. The office staff are okay, but if you receive a package for someone, like my daughter did for me when my mailbox was suspect to break ins, they scold you and threaten you stating you cannot receive mail for other people and if you do they will send it back. The roaches are horrific, like the other reviewer stated, the air conditioning leaks constantly and in high volume (she has placed a regular wastebasket underneath and dumps it twice a day), and when they come to repair it, they take no consideration, they make and leave huge messes with water all over the floor, towels and anything near the leak (its in the bathroom) are filthy. There is not near enough parking for the amount of residents, and they have had serious towing issues in the past even when parked in the visitors parking area. Half the outlets in the unit do not work, nor did they have face plates on them (I bought some for them). Bottom line, if you have a choice of being homeless and living under a bridge somewhere, this is better, but not by much.

My husband and I moved her about a two years ago and honestly I like the peace and quiet the apartments offer. We did have a couple of things we needed fixing and maintenance has always come in a timely manner. I have not seen any roaches in the apartments nor have I had any major issues to complain about. Yes, I do think they could have more visitor parking because during the weekend when most people have guests over, they are having to park on the outside of the gates of the apartment property. The water does get shut off occasionally, only because people dont seem to understand that they need not to be flushing unnecessary stuff down the toilet. They do give an advance notice and get it fixed by morning which honestly doesnt bother me since by the time I get off of work its back running. All in all I like these apartments and they are affordable enough until we get our own house. I definitely like recommending these apartments to anyone I know who is looking for a place to live.

Customer service at Pointe at Steeplechase is awful. Its been over 2 weeks and I havent received my deposit back. I asked that it be mailed to me because I wasnt able to come to the location. I am still waiting. On top of that the leasing agent Brenda was rude and she hung up in my face. The property isnt even that great for the type of service that you receive. As soon as my application was denied, I found an even better location closer to my job. So Im not bitter about that. However, I am not happy about how I was treated when I was inquiring about MY own money! If you are looking at this property, make sure this is exactly where you want to be before putting down your deposit. It may take 2 weeks or longer for you to get it back!

Kind and very helpful management staff. Maintenance requests are attended quickly. Very close to several grocery stores.

Not the best but the manger took a real step twords improving my experience and I appreciate the initiative.

I would give this place 2.5 stars if I could. I moved here with my family 2 years ago and have more family that live here too in the other side and we all have come across some things that we find disturbing. First off, Management/Staff /Ladies have been very helpful from the beginning, but sometimes when we call the front office no one answers so we have to walk all the way to the front and request maintenance (That needs to get better ladies) Now let me tell you about the entrance and exit gates. I dont know who decided to put the gate code box for the entrance gate all the way to the left and the right side of the gate is the side that opens. Its really not a big deal until you see a line of cars on the street waiting for the gate to open. They do however have gate keys for residents, but for $40 or $50?! why would we have to pay for a gate key?! It should come included like they do in other apartments. Let me tell you about the exit gate now. This exit gate is open most of the time. They actually fixed it yesterday and have fixed it about 5 times in the past but believe me its going to be open in the next couple of days, its like somebody breaks it leaving it open, which make it easy for BURGLARS to drive off with a car. But its fine because they put a security camera at the exit not too long ago to help after there was a break in/robbery. When this gate is open, As you are trying to exit, cars enter through there because they want to avoid pushing in the gate code at the entrance which could end up in a crash. This was brought in to the staff and they just send a text out to the residents at the end of their shift saying Dear Residents, DO NOT use the exit gate as an entrance, anyone not complying with the policy will get a lease violation but you know what? people STILL go through there! Ladies?! Does that security camera even work or just the red and blue flashing lights? Staff also sends the same anyone not complying with the policy will get a lease violation text out to residents about loud music, smoking in the apartment, parking and dog poop. Some residents dont pick up after their dogs, and kids that play in those grass area step on it. There are also residents that dont have dogs on their leases for sure to avoid paying the fee. Lets talk about parking and guest parking. Residents get 1 or 2 parking permits at the beginning of their stay. I dont know if residents have to pay to get another one, but even if they had to Im pretty sure they wont because they can easily park and leave their car in the GUEST PARKING zone with no one doing anything about it. You seriously going to believe that every one of those cars park in that zone are guest?! The same cars park there every night! Ive had people over and they had to park outside the apartments because all the guest parking are taken. I say they should be towed but thats not up to me of course. I have a lot more to say but I dont want to exceed the character limit so ill type in the rest in a different review. look for Part 2.

This apartments are great, I have not had any issues, the ladies in the office are super nice and I like everything about this place. I would recommend this place to my family and friends . :)

Good luck trying to get a hold of these people... You have to leave a voicemail for literally everything, which is absolutely ridiculous. I tried to call to ask about my application and was never able to reach them.. I ended up moving somewhere else.

Ive been looking for a place to live near my job..but didnt know who will work with my broken lease... thanks to my agency...she referred me to this very nice community..and very nice people...and I love my new place.

Beautiful and quite place, it has a very nice neighborhood, the staff is helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I am a current resident at The Pointe and I really enjoy living here, there a re two nice pools a gym and business center for residents., they also have a club room for parties. The property is well maintained, they have great customer service.

Nothing but issues here! First day of move in, water was shut off and we had to stay at a hotel. Then they tore up the sidewalk and yard for repairs and took weeks to fix some of it is still just covered with wooden boards. After about a week of living here our apartment had a roof leak in our food pantry causing damage and still has not been fixed weve been here about 2 months now. And our car got towed because they couldnt see our permit...$200 that shouldve gone to my childs birthday is now gone. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

This is a apartment?NO Security,No space for car park,if you came back from work late (after 9 PM),you will lose your place.you need park outside of the apartment!Lot of time Police come in this apartment !You will see at least 3/4 police car in a week.Outside people can entry in this apartment,some people walk in mid night.The apartment will never give you back your deposit,they are cheat...

Management is very understanding, they are nice and they try to work with you. My apartment itself is amazing and I just love it, definitely would recommend to anyone trying to get their first apartment.
