These apartments have the best management that get what ever you need they will get it done.Naomi is so helpful with me love her great customer service and her leasing Eve is great.

My husband and I have been here since March of this year (2021) & when we say we REGRET signing a year lease...we mean just that. Take our advice and go somewhere else. Naomi is TERRIBLY unprofessional, rude and nasty. Shes lazy and makes excuses for everything. Now on the other hand, Karen is a godsend, sweet and she keeps it real. She needs to be the Property Manager. Naomi could learn a thing or two from Karen.

Terrible Apartment complex! Looks dusty, smells like cigarettes. And I was skeptical about all the negative reviews on the office staff but its 100% true. The supposed office manager ( Last door on the right) told me to come in early At 8:30am on Saturday to drop off my application. Mind you she knows I live an hour away. I get to the apartments and not only is it not open, when it does finally open at 10:00 a.m. shes nowhere to be found and wouldnt be back in the office until Monday. On top of all this they cant keep office staff they keep hiring new people. I take this as a Lesson learned

Wish I could give this place a zero stars but I can’t, they are broke, never fix anything around the complex and NEVER answer. The management is possibly the worst I’ve ever encountered! Also they have the balls to ask residents to pay $100 for a pool pass when the pool in constantly green and disgusting! Please if you want to save money don’t come here I’m sure there is something better than this place!

Please dont waste your time or money applying here they give you the run around no one seems to know what there doing and they dont care about how they inconvenience applicants.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE RENTING HERE— my experience: I did my research and even called before submitting an application for an apartment, some comments say roaches but it dates back to a couple of years. Called about it and they said they hve pest control EVERY week (which still screams issues bc why every week) anywho so im like okay lets give this place a chance… it should not be this hard to apply to an apartment.— You CAN NOT pay the application fee online you have to go in person with a money order or if your halfway across the world (like me) mail in one over night. (No thanks)— My virtual tour was scheduled and CONFIRMED.. no one ever called to show me a tour or anything, no email saying they are running late. As if my time isnt as precious as theirs.— I called a week prior to make sure they received my application bc i did not receive an email confirmation..That was 3 strikes — its their loss not mine and in my opinion very unprofessional.I was not the inly one calling so was my realtor and they gave her misinformation and also when she called they said the manager was “busy”.I can only imagine future problems not being easy to deal with .Thanks but no thanks

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! This is the cutest community. Love the walkabilty and style of the community. The office staff is what is really sellling me. I toured with Loni and she is so sweet and helpful. She said she was still new in the industry however was very knowlegable of the building, area, and benefits to the community. It was a pleasure to tour with her. Ask for Loni when you get there for sure! If I am able to make this transition with work to live in the houston area. This is where I will be living for sure.

I would like to start by saying the front office workers are very nice an understanding even though this pandemic they understand an plus its aGreat place to live ive been here now an plain on staying longer-term. Teresa Karen and Fernando amazing workers need more like them.

Ive been here since march I been to the office over 15 times. My stove hasnt worked for two months when I moved in my carpet was not shampooed. My ac was leaking. Right now it stay hot in my apartment but I cant get a windows unit. What am I paying for I have to stay at moms during the day. And I have curtains.

So far so good. Ms. Gloria is well organized and will answer you whenever you reach out to her about your apartment. I know for sure she has been there for me. So right now my rating are good. I will come back after a few months of being there. Thanks Ms. Gloria

Very disappointed. Cleaned the appartment, went to give a notice in the office in writng, they told me not necessary, since I would be moving out and on month to month payment. But still, I did not get my deposit back.

I would love to tell you that this is a good place to live. But the truth is. It’s not. I have had continued problems with my hot water. Also, my personal vehicle and my companies vehicle were both towed while they were parked in my own lot. Cost me over 700$. Now lets talk about the crime. I know there is crime everywhere but I’ve personally heard the managers say it is a safe place to live. I would never let my children live here or visit here. An example: woke up to a puddle of blood in my front doorstep. Apparently someone was a victim and participant of a running gun battle and decided to bleed out on my front patio.Don’t get your mail sent here. It WILL be stolen on a constant basis. Your gonna have to get a PO box. If you intend on living in the area I would suggest finding another complex to live in. There are a bunch and they are cheaper, safer, and easier to deal with.

If I could give these apartments negative stars I would but they are forcing me to give them one! The apartment manager has no people skills she is rude for 1250 for a 2 bedroom it’s not worth it at all! They don’t fix things correctly they make you pay for security and multiple cars windows get broken and broken into while security is not doing his job! The laundry room smells like someone died none of the washers work the only thing good about this property is the pool I’m the front literally and the fake office they portray don’t move here you’ll regret it!!!!

Ive lived here for about 6 months. I must say that Ive enjoyed my stay here so far. Friendly and very proactive management staff. If theres something you need all you have to do is ask. Thats from maintenance to rent issues, they are there to help. Great place.

I’ve lived at Verano for two years and it’s been great. Maintenance can be a little slow at times but things still get done. The community is amazing, everyone here is so friendly and they also take pride in keeping the property clean.

I moved here and needed to be housed immediately and Francis made it happen! The rest of the staff are wonderful and extremely helpful with directions, attractions, and bus routes. Its a quite complex and I love the location close to major bus routes. Great place to move if you are coming from out of state and getting situated.

Gloria in the office is UNPROFESSIONAL. She lied to me and instead of correcting her mistake she.just didnt contact me. And when I did speak to her when I went to pick up my papers from the office she found my situation amusing. Nice apartments.. slightly rundown hut overall nice. The only reason for the 1 store is because of the unprofessionalism.

I do not recommend these apartments at all. Maintenance is extremely bad my sink was never fixed infestation of roaches everywhere i paid pest control and never had that problem fixed then what was i paying for. Rent always changed it always went up yet i paid on time every month. i have pictures of how i left the apartment yet i was not given my deposit instead manager was rude when i asked about my deposit. Beware about how nice they treat you before signing your lease and after how nothing will get fixed after signing.

I went in a couple months back and I loved the staff they are very nice and helpful. Since then I have started renting an apt. I love the events they have, and the newsletters they send. I feel like when we go to their events everyone on property comes together almost like a family to enjoy everything that verano has to offer. Overall 10/10 would most definitely recommend for anyone thinking about coming to live here.

I’ve lived here for about 8 months. At first when signing the lease everything was cool. Negative. They will tell you whatever just to get you to sign something. Staff is kinda friendly but two faced. You will want to cuss them out I promise. The apartments are nice. The one I was shown however wasn’t the one I got, but it’s still good. They have mold and will tell you they checked for it. THEY DO NOT!!! So please check the first day and get them. Parking is crowed not enough visitor ones and covered parking is kinda far. Which is super dumb. Tbh you would just be better off finding somewhere different. It’s always trashy over here too. I’m barely home, but kinda dread coming here at times.

I am reaching my one year mark and I couldn’t be more happier! A whole year of violations that had nothing to do with me, AC that never kept my apartment cool. The creepy ass maintenance men that come with the apartment complex and hit on you. The one hay came to fix my air would always try talking to me. Just please do your job, and nothing more. Mold and water spots through the apartment that they don’t check for, they just paint over it. I do admit Ollie the new manager came into something that was completely messed up already, but she is kicking ass trying to fix things. So maybe with her as manager it’ll get done better. But then again my air still doesn’t work properly. They let anyone move in here. My neighbors under me have so much traffic it’s ridiculous. My friends car was purposefully scratched on the doors in the parking lot. They barely have any covered or any visitor parking. I would just recommend not moving here. I honestly wouldn’t wish this kind of stress on anyone!

Television stolen when I lived there back in 2012. Office staff did nothing about it and thought I made the whole thing up. No real pests issues from what I can remember. Leaky and moldy cabinet under kitchen sink. No security on property. Saw a girl get punched at 2am by her boyfriend once. So sad.

I’ve been living here for the past 3-4 years, I never had an issue with the old management but this NEW management is just a joke! I can NEVER get a hold on anyone through the phone, I literally have to hope I get home on time from work so I can go to the office and talk to them personally. I’ve asked since January to have my stove fixed and another issues i’ve been having. They always say that they’ll send someone over WHEN THEY DON’T. They used to be great aparments to live in honestly, now I can’t wait for my lease to end !!!

If I could make this a negative 10 I would. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT live here. I cannot stress this enough, do NOT live here. If you want an apartment complex that is run down with things always breaking and a management staff that is completely incompetent then by all means live here.When I originally moved in the bathroom was not finished and there are still several cracks along the bottom of the tub. It took 6 months for them to finish the bathroom.I have had my apartment leak several times from the ceiling and also flooded from pipes underneath the closet. They took so long to fix it, there was mold growing and many personal belongings were ruined. This happened not once but TWICE! I told the property manager that I believe there was structural damage to the apartment and the person she sent in to fix it just painted over the mold and replaced the carpet. Of course the mold came through the new paint and the carpet was again ruined along with more of my belongings.I have had several bug infestations of cockroaches that took forever to take care of. Every time an issue has occurred the maintenance staff leaves a mess for me to clean up.They have a clothes care center for doing laundry but youd be better off going to the laundromat next door as the washroom on site smells like a corpse and is absolutely disgusting.Their security is a joke. Its just random guys walking around talking on their cell phones and do not actually enforce anything. I live close to the pool and their are always kids in it late after hours, throwing chairs into the water, letting their pets swim in it, playing music well after midnight and not once was it put to a stop unless I ended up calling non emergency police which almost every time I have called them someone else from the property had already called, so its not just me.I tried getting pizza hut to deliver to my apartment which is literally 2 miles away and they will not due to security concerns. The gate at the front never works either.Recently they put the wrong price down for my rental renewal and actually want to raise my rent! Ive never seen staff so incompetent anywhere. You usually get a half hearted apology and assurance that the issue will never happen again.Seriously, DO NOT live here. You will have better accommodations under a 610 overpass in a cardboard box.

Worst apartment I have ever lived in!!!! My toilet breaks every week and when maintenance came the third time, he said we were putting stuff in the toilet on purpose. No hot water pressure. Roaches are EVERYWHERE!!!! There is a rat in my apartment. And have the nerve to charge $1000 rent. Its not even livable. I wish management would get better at taking care of their units. Im hoping management reads this because I refuse to pay rent and you cant make it a livable situation.Unhappy tenants

They dont even have an after hours line....my apartment is currently flooded, Ive been calling all day..Ive spoke to nobody. I only have until August before Im out of contract, however, I am out of here next month Lord Willing, even if I am forced to break my lease.

I live in apt 401, i have been here going on 6 years its been an challenge living here up to now!! . Ms. Naomi Gamez has been compassionate with everything concerning my apt, wen she came in the first day, she took care of maintenance problem right away. She cares about what she do and how she do it.She is very professional and kindhearted, We need that here at Verano Apt, i pray she stays on board, because this property needs tender loving and care. Ms.Hailie(temp leasing agent is a greeter, she has a personality that will light up the darkness, very professional and knows her job very well. i pray that Management will keep her as well. we need employees like her, also Mr. Fernando, Wow! this assistant manager is Awesome!!.he needs to be the Manager, he knows his job very well and is very professional. we need staff that cares about the residents. the Residents do matter !! Pls!! keep them on boars, they a are great access to verano.

Some of these reviews got me like 😳😳 I’m not sure if we live in the same apartments. Furthermore this was suppose to be a temporary move but just resigned & upgraded. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there’s always room for improvement. However, the apartments are spacious (they fit just as what the apartment says it will per room comfortably ), there is onsight security I think every night && 5/7 days in the daytime (don’t quote me ) for the most part it is very quiet . Nothing has been stolen, broken into or trashed, very easy commute to my job on Harwin M-F even with a school right in front . The carpet in the 2 bedrooms is LIFE !! The maintenance team will continuously work with you until an issue is resolved. Pamela was my girl . Dk what happened to her . But office management Francis && OLLIE are GREAT at there job && never leave you in the blind. ONLY ever had ONE serious misshap that was personal . But life goes on && I’ve still been treated with the upmost respect. && if they’re ever closed or unavailable to resolve a serious matter you can see the police station from in front of the apartments ☺️☺️

The management is not very attentive or organized and Ive had to ask multiple times for them to either come and fix an issue in my apartment or inspect and take care of a bug problem. When they finally do come, I feel like they make more of a mess than before. Its their responsibility to take of their tenants and they are horrible at it. Its time to move asap.

April 18th,2016 day of rain and flood. Smell of mold and mildew in my apt. Called front office no one answer due to changing management. So 3 days later odor became loud thought was a dead rat as well. Due to the fact that the neighbor next to my apt Was dead. The veraon apt.s took their time and patient to fix both solutions. My living room still have 2 big whole patches in my wall. And we all know something can crawl in there. My patio closet has a patch whole too. The dead scent is coming though my bedroom wall. I need help please. Then I asked for corporate number no one would give it to me. Im tired. Im sick as well. From this dead scent and mold and mildew smell. Someone help.

I put 0 for verano i have problem in the bathroom they took the insulation, and they didnt put it back, so the smell very bad and we heard the noise from my neighbor all day and night. I told the office to fix the problem, they said we NOT can fix it. I am not living in my own home it is APT just to remember you, and I had this problem for long time. Very very bad service.

If there is zero I’ll put it, i live here now and the new Management is so disgusting and aweful, they only want your money but not your comfort. This is my last month here.

I have lived at this location for almost nine years, I must admit that I have no real complaint, the manager ms Francis is a nice person along with mr Dupree and ms Pam, maintenance issues are handled promptly as well, pay your rent on time, pickup behind your pet, report any maintenance issue, respect your neighbors, period.

Love it! I was in a bit of a bind and needed somewhere to stay with my son asap! Francis walked me through everything smoothly and was able to move in quick. Parking lot is clean you dnt see people pullin transmissions or motors out lol my vehicles where safe never nothing missing or damaged. Loved that there is a security guard walkin around at nite also!

Movig to this complex was the worset desition I have ever made. There are rotches everywere, its so dirty, there is big holes that will messup youre car alignments, it smells bad. The mangment have two faces, before you sign the lease they will be the nicest, but as long as you do sign it the will show you their hedden face horrible.Yea and i forgot to mention that they are big husslers when it comes to tow cars. They never give worrents before they tow any car, trust me they will tow youre car for any reson.DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Management and staff at this location is SO unprofessional and look unprofessional the sad part is that they make the apts look worse. The Apts are old, smelly poorly maintenance. Im still waiting on my deposit return. 6 months later n nothing.

I live in the neighborhood behind these apartments. I find trash in my yard all the time that tenants throw over the fence even though the dumpster is close by. There is yelling and screaming all the time. We have reached out to management several times and it falls on deaf ears.

Application process was easy. Staff was friendly and professional . Since Ive moved in . any I say is wrong with the apartment they come fix it .

Horrible place they took my money I went in about 2 weeks ago and applied for a apartment I paid the application fee and administration fee which was 125 dollars I called about three or four days after to check my application status the lady I spoke with kristy told me I was a approved for the 1/1 unit gave me all the info and told me what I need to bring them which was the deposit and the prorated rent so in total I had to bring like 848 because they also said since I had no rental history it would be an additional 250dollars for the First time renters fee ok long story short I went in on Wednesday to take my deposits move in was on Friday she gave me the apartment number 1208 so I took in my two money orders one for 150 and the other for 250 so after that I was headed to work they called me about 10 minutes before I was about to go into work and say Ms Johnson we are sorry but we cant rent to you your application wasnt approved now Im thinking wait you just told me I was approved no your saying Im not she had no other explanation besides they might have over looked it seriously if your a apartment agent the first thing you look for is a denial or approval so basically they ripped me off they told me it would take a week or two to refund my money I havent heard anything from them since!!!!!!!!

The apartments are pretty quiet and the residents there are friendly. Its along a couple of bus routes. Theres a lot of places to shop in the area. My only complaint is the roach problem.
