Great location. Spacious affordable one bedrooms. Amenities are ok. Unfortunately had issues during freeze with pipelines bursting but they moved tenants and waived fees. Very accommodating during that time .

Overall good experience here. I enjoy the amenities like pool and clubhouse. Apartment has great living room space and kitchen. My room is cozy with a spacious closet. The bathroom tub and shower is relaxing and big. Balcony is large, peaceful with a great view. The neighborhood is safe and accessible to the freeway and close to Montrose, Heights, Galleria and Midtown. My only drawback is the hallways need a revamp with the carpet and thermostat. Elevators are down sometimes and parking garage gets full on the weekend. Otherwise I enjoy my time here.

Lawrence Rachel was the best from start to finish, he walked me through everything step by step and went over and beyond to make my transition from NC to Houston easy. I would highly recommend this community to everyone.

I had an problem with my microwave Luis the mantience guy came and fixed the issue immediately. I love the service they take care of your issues ASAP!!

Just applied /got approved to move in - Pedros professionalism during the apartment tour and prompt response time in our correspondence was one of the key factors in my decision to live here. A lot of properties offer similar floor plans and amenities, but the customer experience as a new tenant so far has proved to be a key differentiator that sets this property apart from the rest.

Really quiet community. Packages arent always delivered to the lockers but thats not the apartments fault I guess.

Have lived here for about 3 months and in Houston for over 2 years. I wish I could give 10 stars! Management is always prompt to help out with anything needed, maintenance is super friendly and also quick to respond. The elevator does have a few maintenance issues from time to time but management is always quick to communicate repair status and strategies. Houston struggles with good apartment communities so I strongly recommend this hidden gem! Cant thank Olga and Tatiana for all their help!

I love the sense of community here! Everything is also so quaint! So far so good!!i also really enjoy the dog park my puppies love playing so much and they truly enjoy themselves!

Great Staff, awesome place to live! I lived here for 1.5 years and never had a problem. Finley and Olga are unbelievable at their jobs and really helped make everything run so smoothly.

We absolutely love living here! The location is perfect. Super safe, walkable neighborhood. We love having a gated garage. The amenities are great. Our unit is spacious and up to date. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Currently renting with this company. They lured many people (myself included) to their property using a $1,000.00 debit card which they implied could be used to supplement rent. Once the lease had been signed we came to find out that the debit card in fact could NOT be used to supplement rent. No notice was given to any of the renters and I had to call the office several times to get any sort of response. This combined with constant elevator maintenance, leaking ceilings, hidden fees and a mandatory “valet trash” fee makes me wholeheartedly discourage anyone from renting with this company.UPDATE: 2/15/21It’s 12am and fire alarms have been going off in every single apartment and hallway in the building. This has been going on for nearly 45 minutes without any response from anyone. Most residents have been forced outside in the single digit weather due to the unbearable screeching.Also no precautions were put into place to ensure residents could GET IN TO the building during a power outage (Every door is opened with a fob).UPDATE: 6/3/21God forbid you need to get in touch with an actual real person in the leasing office. I just spent 20 minutes being constantly re-routed on their phone system before I gave up. Im really tired of having to update this review. What new and exciting unprofessional behavior will be waiting for me next? Thats part of the allure of Gables Upper Kirby.

We’ve lived at Gables Upper Kirby for almost a year - moved from one building to another only for a better view of the city. Absolutely love this community. It’s in a fantastic part of town with great walkability and a wonderful staff in the office - we love working with Finley!We rarely hear neighbors, but we also keep in mind that we live in an apartment complex so hearing others is part of the deal. Overall this is my favorite community we’ve lived in during our four years in Houston so far!

AMAZING! I am so glad I moved to Gables Revere Upper Kirby! I have lived at several apartments in the area and this is hands down one of the best communities in the area! The staff makes the experience even better. Management is always quick to respond and is super friendly! I’ve never had a problem with noise. Pool is super nice that gets a lot of sun all day! The gym is probably one of most spacious gyms as far as apartment gyms go and overall space in the floor plans is amazing! It’s a great location to be in especially if you like stores and restaurants being walking distance. I highly recommend living at Gables Revere Upper Kirby! Thank you to Gables for making my stay amazing!

Living at Gables has been a good experience over the past two years. The only complaint I have had is when the elevator has broken - its been quite a few times, however, when this has occurred they worked to take care of it as quickly as possible; they were also good at keeping us posted on updates. The customer service has improved since I first moved in and they have upgraded a lot of the apartment which has been nice - keep up the good work!

This is the place you will be proud to call home, I enjoy every bit of it, from my walks to Whole Foods or Trader Joes, to discovering plentiful restaurant scene of the neighborhood, from the view from our lofts balcony with spectacular show of sunset without failing to impeccable customer service, from family like community to great maintenance team. You rock, Gables Upper Kirby!

Disclaimer: I do not live here. But the leasing staff, especially Olga was very prompt and polite with her responses. She made my apartment search easy and was there to answer my questions about the apartment.

It is so nice here> Gables is the only apartment I found in this area that had excellent reviews and I am so glad I made them my choice. The area is very nice and quiet and I feel safe. Also, they have a lot of events that involve free food so that is always a plus in my book.

Absolute horrible experience with complex amenities and management. Main door to parking garage was broken and left completely open for well over a month, packages are rarely - if ever - able to be delivered due to the package system being located behind locked doors, management applies fees and charges to rent without any basis or explanation.You essentially just pay for the central location. All considered, I will not be renewing my lease and would advise looking at another complex.

The staff are nice, but the building is old and things break often; at least one of the elevators is usually out.

Only thing I like about living here is that everything is close by. You can hear any and every little noise. Everything easily breaks down and I am constantly having to call maintenance to come fix it. Parking for guests is HORRIBLE. They say your guests can use the leasing parking spots but they leave warning stickers on your windows saying they will tow you next time?! So our guests have to park on the side of the street. It is horrible especially at night time... Cars get broken into while parked on the side of the street all the time. You also pay for valet trash and have a trash chute but apparently you can’t throw your boxes away there. You have to go all the way downstairs to throw them away. Such a hassle. I have also complained numerous amount of times about silverfish crawling all over my apartment. They have been sending in an exterminator every week and it does not help. The exterminator is in my apt for about 15 seconds and leaves... they have not done anything else to resolve this issue. I bet they would quickly resolve it if they woke up to silverfish crawling on them. Leaving after my lease is up.

I had to use another account to review again because my one star review mysteriously disappeared. This is for the sake of transparency if you are looking into moving here.The fire alarm goes off all the time. It went off 3 times in 24 hrs this weekend and this year alone it has gone off about once a month. Most neighbors dont evacuate anymore and hang out in their balconies since it is always a false alarm (issues with alarm system, leaks, or accident with the pipe system). Absolutely terrible place to live in where you dont know when it will go off next time and you may be awaken at 2AM doubling down in pain as it is nuclear plant loud.

Modern build, great facilities, one of the best locations in town and by far the friendliest and most helpful staff off the many complexes Ive lived in Houston.
