Things have gotten so much better since the property has hired a new manager. The difference is night and day. Some residents to part of her staff she inherited were not very desirable, in my opinion. I tease when I say she came into her new position “slinging guns (metaphorically) just like Jesse James!” The whole feel of the property changed within days. The property is very clean, quiet and safe. I love the open space and updated appliances that my apartment has. There is also a nice gym and pool area. Overall, I’m satisfied that I decided to naive to this complex. The only thing is I wish we had a choice in the cable and WiFi providers that we use.I must add, although these apartments are nice, we also pay a good amount of money for there to not be an emergency maintenance number. It also shouldn’t take maintenance 2 days to respond to a request.

I love my apartment and garage. I love coming home. Maintenance is responsive to requests and very professional. The office can be slow to respond at times, but tend to communicate frequently with residents. They have been very polite. I wish we had recycling service for our community though.

Worst service of any complex. I live at the Vie at TMC and the same people run the Elle. They don’t clean anything. Don’t take care of their apartments. They avoid phone calls and emails. They post additional monthly charges and refuse to give credits or breakdowns of statements. Very disorganized and unfriendly.

Ive lived here a year and the apartmentsare peaceful and full of friendly faces. Manger Jason, his staff and security are amazing! I get off late and the weekday overnight security is always alert and makes you feel safe coming in at night. I can always expect to see him walking through the apartments keeping things secure as I sit on my balcony overlooking the beautiful pool view.Overall its a great location if you work in the Medical Center like myself.

Quick to send you a bill with a due date but when it comes to the deposit check they owe you they take their sweet time. I just cannot even put into words how much I HATE the management here. Jason and Taylor never do anything to rectify any problem you experience. They just talk nice but there’s no action behind it. For me, the roaches and terrible management are the main reasons I HATED living here. Management is key and they are horrible here. I’ve never had a management team this bad. If you are considering moving here don’t do it. I promise you, you will regret it. These people don’t do their jobs well. For what you get, the prices should be waaaaay lower. Horrible investment.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my apartment complex, I have been here for almost a year now and love it. The location is great for my work and school, internet is good for my online classes and I love the staff. I have seen reviews lately talking about crime and yes there are some things that have happened but these things are happenings at my friends apartments too so I think it seems to be all over, the guard knows my name and I feel so safe with him at the gate. There was a lot of changes at the end of last year and I dont think there is anyone still here from the office still not long after I moved in so I cant say how much it was before but Jason the manager is on always on top of his game and everyone in the office is always saying so many wonderful things about him so I think the changes were definitely for the good. Raoul and Milton the maintenance managers are fantastic. They have always been there when I needed something. I have another 2 years of school and have no plans on going anywhere any time soon. :)

Taylor is nothing less than exceptional. Very personable, communicates exceptionally, and professional. Made my leasing experience easy with no hassle at all. Couldn’t be happier with my service.

Took away amenities and kept charging for them. Their management is the worst. There are bugs everywhere. Appliances don’t work. Possums and raccoons are all over the place. So many break ins. Vehicles and apartments have gotten broken into. An imposter made his way in and eventually got arrested but almost hurt somebody. Guards let everybody in literally. Don’t move here. They don’t deserve 2.7 stars.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Where to begin. Poor customer service in the office, Ive left multiple calls for the manager and no response. The tenants upstairs are loud and play music at all times of the day. They let their small child run water and the water flowed to my apartment TWICE. It took them two weeks to fix the problem. I had to contact the management company and the Houston Apartment Association for someone to respond. Then the water from the AC leaked the following week. When I first moved in I had roaches but I paid for pest control out of my own pocket. The only plus is the security guys at the front, always professional and courteous. All I want to do is move without paying a re-letting fee.

The entire system, management, and leasing for these apartments is literally so bad all you can do is laugh from the anger and frustration. From start to finish, my experience has been a terrible one. Its so bad here that I would rather be homeless than to deal with this agan. Elle at the Medical Center is too expensive and the people that work behind the scenes, Taylor, Jason, and management are all HORRIBLE.

The security guard in the morning is efficient at maintaining a secure property. Picking up my packages is always a breeze thanks to his organization. Office staff is nice and friendly, my move in process went very smooth. No complaints so far.

I have been here for almost 9 years and have enjoyed living at this complex. It is close to my work and has all the things I need to make me happy in my living environment, nice apartments, 2 car garage, amenities for public use (gym, pool, patios), and a diverse neighborhood in which I hold high value. I work with a lot of interesting people at my work and having that at home, extends the feeling of well being.

Horrible! Period! Everything about these apartments led to my horrible experience. Bad management, overpricing, they took away amenities and still charge for them.

Roaches. Pest control came. Stilll have the roach issue. Disgusting. They do not care about the tenants. All they care about is securing the money. Look at all the reviews and see the images everybody has submitted. They do nothing to improve these issues. They just sit there and collect money. I highly recommend you choose another apartment. Under Covid they have not offered any assistance even though they took away the amenities. Other apartments offered discounts or payment plans.

I would blame the AT&Ts fault to this apartment complex since this apartment complex only served by AT&T. Please start transfering/opening an internet account 1-2 month prior moving. A&TT customer service is the worst

The staff and security are always nice, welcoming and accommodating of my needs.

The office staff is rude and incompetent. I went and toured a place and was upfront about my rental history, which they said would be fine as long as I have paperwork showing that I had paid the balance I had, which was paid in full and I had the paperwork to prove it. I applied paid my money and was denied because I had an eviction. Which was fine but they lied and said I would be ok and then turned around and said they don’t accept them. The guy was always by himself and got increasingly rude once the property manager got involved and was really nasty. I explained I was moving because a crime occurred and I needed to move fast, yet she was uncooperative and increasingly nasty every time I called. She would hang up in my face and always sound irritated when I called. Then I was told I would receive $280 back from the $340 I paid to move there. I confirmed this three times with the office staff AND the property manager herself yet I only got $180 back and it took them 10 weeks to return it only after I had to have my mother call their corporate to get answers because they gave me the run around for weeks. The apartments are nice but they way they treat people is horrible.

I’ve really enjoyed my time here over the last year. Maintenance got my issue resolved quickly and the office staff is helpful and welcoming. The rent is affordable for the area so I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

These apartments are great 24hr security guard always there very nice and pilot. I see them every morning before going to work patrolling property and they are strict about who they let on property. The office staff is amazing Serena, Taylor and Jason is alwaays friendly and helpful. Yes it is mostly Muslims on property but they are very peaceful people and yes they maybe up all hours of the night but I understand the time differences between our country and theres . You can pick up you packages 24/7 a day thats a plus . The guard thats there in the daytime mon-fri been here since I moved in maybe 3yrs ago he is always nice greets everyone with a smile and really knows his job and is very knowledgeable of property and is very strict when letting in visitors. I feel very secure knowing that the security here is good. And for the bad reviews I have read STOP IT!!!!! Most of them are from angry prior residents that wanna down play this property. Yes every property has a few problems but nothing how they making it seem . Everyone enters this property must show ID I know for sure because I occasionally leave my gate card at home and have to show ID to enter even tho I live here. Great Apartments Great Staff And Security is always a plus

We are moving from out of state and our experience with Elle has been great. They have been very responsive and made our move less stressful. As with any apartment complex, you have to call back if they dont answer at first, but they are busy. Were very excited to live at the Elle. Special shoutout to Rasean for being so great and helpful.

There is a dread and hostilities inside Elle loft understudies looking for aides and assurance from the Elle apartment network no buck up or reaction from Elle people group no that will ensure our young understudies who has been confronting teeth of wallet parcel cash papers and watches what going in within Elle loft is demonstration of wrongdoing coercion and no assistance from the network understudies cant leaves their homes any more their looking for assistance. Some residents have lodged complaints about the administration of housing and put some solutions, such as surveillance cameras and barbed wire, but found no response to their demands. They enter houses, steal private property and endanger residents lives.

Several problem with the management. (By the way, they own Elle, Vie & Plaza)1. It took me almost 10 tries (talking to the agent in person, talking to assistant managers in person, calling, etc) to find out exactly how much I need to pay my rent bc @ first they tell me they dont know the amount and that the system will do the calculation but then the system made a mistake in the calculation so I had to call several times trying to fix the problem and was told no way the system would be wrong. When I finally track down the only person that can resolve the issue, she admit the system made a mistake in the calculation.2. I was told no water problem from Harvey yet Ive had several water leaking in during heavy rain. In fact, my living room was flooded last month. Every time they fix the problem I was told it wont happen again, yet I got flooded. I have allergy problem even since I moved in and it never click in my head until my apartment got flooded that its bc of mold. I asked them to check for mold and was told that theres none. (more lies?) I told them to transfer me to another unit yet they want to charge me a transfer fee.3. My neighbor has been making unpredictable noise disturbance ever since they moved in. I called the management and talk to them in person too & was told they will evict them after a number of complaint was made. They would not tell me how many times a complaint has to be made and I have complaint at least 6 times. At the end, instead of serving the eviction notice to the neighbor like they have promised, they want me to call the police & make the police do their job.4. Several theft and assault has occurred in our complex, some even were held at gun point. Guess what, instead of having a security guard in our complex (Vie), they decided to chain lock the pedestrian door. They said its for our safety, can you believe that?! We are trapped in our gated complex unless a car pass by to open the gate. How is that safe? Thats the same thing as locking the fire escape door. (Hopefully the lock is removed by the time you read this)5. The managers schedule is a mystery. Nobody knows. Not even her assistant managers know. Also, they are known to ignore your e-mails for days. The manager claim that shes not ghosting you even after not replying for 1 week and wouldnt have replied if I didnt e-mail her again.6. Last but not least, they make you sign a class action waiver bc they know theyve upset so many people already and many more to come.

We pay like 2000+ a month so I’m confused every time I come home and see like 20 baby roaches in the kitchen. Apartments are beautiful on the outside and inside but the bug issue brings it to a 1 star. Why am i paying so much to live with bugs? Also we have a problem with the dishwasher. It clogs up all the time and smells so bad. They don’t want to fix it. They just tell me to run it. I have to run it every day so the nasty water can drain. I believe this is where the roaches are coming from. Just terrible. Will not be renewing my lease. I do not recommend living here. I cannot wait to move out. Jesus Christ.

It must be ZERO star . VERY POOR MANAGEMENT ! You will lose your money If you are not amarican. do not wast your time to go there. Absolutely, the WORST manger I have ever dealt with. The manger acts so bad to me. I applied to get apartment and I submitted all my documents with last two bank statements which are Bank of America and chase bank and they have more than 10,000 dollars each bank. They lost my bank statement of chase bank on my file and showed me only my statement of Bank of America. My credit score over 750 and I have no crime. Pay on time last place that I have lived since 2015 .I payed them 185$ application fees. After more than 10 days they asked me to submit last tax return. I talked to the manager there I am not American citizen and I do not have tax return . She acted me so bad even she did not like to talk to me. I told her I will pay extra-one month deposit witch is 1,176 $ but She rejected my application and she took 185 $ intentional for nothing.

Just moved out of my apartment and I had a great experience overall. By far the most spacious apartment Ive ever had. Never had a problem with management, maintenance or the shuttle driver. I rode the shuttle through med-school to the Baylor and never had any problems. I think that I got spoiled.Do beware of the rental increases, ours was over 7% which is not normal. I know that they are putting in granite in all of their apartments but that is too high.Pleasant place to live!!

These APARTMENTS WAY too expensive..too be old even though the renovate the complex. It’s still NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. the living room size it NOT big at all. It’s not worth 2 thousand a month when you can simply go find a home for that price. I don’t like the stackable WASHER AND DRYER.

Elle at medical center is a phenomenal property in a really convienient location. The apartments are very nicely renovated and the grounds are wells maintained. I stayed here with my girlfriend who is in Houston on a temporary work assignment and really enjoyed my stay. We did have an A/C leak, but the management and maintainance staff acted quickly and fixed it in a timely manner. If we were to move to Houston full time, Elle at the medical center would be top of the list!

Tour at this property but ended up leasing at one of their sister properties (Verdir) They own like the entire block of complexes and have something for everyones price range!

The leasing office was a bit difficult to work with in the beginning but towards the end of our lease they were very kind and helpful. The apartments are beautiful. The only complaint I have is guest parking and slow maintenance.

We lived there about a year.Good apts and good location.Noise on the highway next door does not disturb if you are inside home.Good space and a garage attached as well.Plenty of space in the closets as well.The management staff keeps changing and they are not professional at all.The guys on the maintenance work well and hard but they had to staff 2 sister apts as well.So as mentioned elsewhere will take long to fix anything.The management agrees to pay our water bills which was never paid to the company until we left and we ran the risk of defaulting on our credit score.after many visits to the manager she did fix it but this could have been catastrophic for our credit score.Turns out they were filing it the wrong way.A visit and you will know how unprofessional the staff is.Pick your choices .It does have a security guard after a middle east tenant was shot dead by burglars.So may make you feel safe given there is guard now.

This is my last month lease I will pay it and i will leave the worest place I’ve ever seen. Very bad staff, they don’t like to talk with the residents especially when you’re not American. The manager always out of the office and there is no one can solve your problem. Most of the bad reviews were about the staff and the managment which these reviews are really reflect the reality.

I have lived here since December 2015. I moved into one of the upgraded 2BR/2 Bath apartments.Pros:-location is convenient, close to the Med center and easy access to Hwy 610 and 288.- upgraded interior.- the manager there, Ronnie is responsive and nice when you come to him with an issue.- gated community with 24 hour security.Cons:- maintenance request take forever to be done and when done, the work is patched and rigged.- the stackable washer/dryer is horrible, even though it is new, my clothes are not cleaned well. I have to dry my clothes twice for them to dry.- People are too lazy to throw trash in the bins, they rather leave it outside the bins and trash accumulates until it is picked up. sometimes the wind blows some of the trash by our apartment stairs that I have to take it away and throw it myself.- there are storage containers that are parked along the backwall of the apartment complex. some are placed around corners which make it dangerous while turning because you cant see and might end up colliding with another car who is coming the opposite direction.- poor poor insulation. My electric bill is outrageous. I used to live in a 2500 sq 2 story house and my bill was 1/4th of what it is now. I am very conscientious about conserving energy.- very noisy due to the close location of the highway. I have talked to the office staff about better insulation for the windows, i got brushed off and of course nothing happened.- People there keep throwing food on the lawns, i guess to feed stray animals. I have to be real careful while walking my dog, so he will not pick up anything and choke on it or get sick.- the gym: people there seem to think the gym is a place to lounge and bring your kids to play. I hope Management enforces the no kids policy at the gym.

The apartments were horribly insulated and because of that, it would get very cold or hot easily depending on the outside temp and would cause our electricity bill to go through the roof! Other than that the apartments were fine, but I would say that parking is horrendous and I got towed by parking next to an ill painted red line which ended up costing me $250 (when I saw dozens of people park there regularly)! The worst of it all is the management though. Anytime I would go to the office to discuss something they would say whatever they could to get me to leave ASAP and did not act professional. They always seemed to have an attitude and be rude when I would have a suggestion or not understand how something was being managed. I will not live here again and am glad I moved out.PS. I agree with everyone when they say that they take FOREVER to fix anything

BE CAREFUL. Great location, and a cozy community. UNFORTUNATELY, some of their employees are not informative and fail to provided you with accurate information. Theyre also not reliable in returning phone calls. I felt like I wasnt a valuable customer. Where do I begin... First, one of the representatives failed to know exactly what service provider the community had. It took my current provider to TELL THEM they did not service that community. Secondly, the floor plan we selected was not to our expectations. I HIGHLY suggest viewing the floor plan in person prior to signing any documents. Thirdly, the A.M. informed me that he would communicate with the property owner to give us a better deal on the floor plan we desired. I PERSONALLY had to call and ask (after 5+ days) to see if we were going to receive the special. I found out that the property manager was reluctant to give us an additional offer (a week prior to moving out). I then requested for a refund for the administration fee and application fee. Supposedly, it is 72 hour period for cancellation (where it states that, who knows?) I was very displeased and disappointed on the lack of professionalism and information given. The only positive comment I WILL GIVE is there is one representative (you will know exactly who she is. Her name starts with a K) who was very professional and extremely informative. By far a big asset to Elle at the Medical Center. Other than that, BE CAUTIOUS.

Its really a nice place to live. However, the rent is so high (like really highhhhh) I cant pay $1,600 a month for a one bedroom apartment so Im moving out in November. I know that the rental apartments in Houston are being expensive but $1,600 is too much for one person.

There is an air of fear within Elle Apartments. Students are seeking help and protection from the community, with no buck up or response. No one will protect our young students who facing the crimes such as such theft of money, wallets, and watches. This is an act of criminal extortion . Students, afraid to leave their homes, are seeking help.

In 2015 I rated this property 4 stars, but today my rating has drastically gone down.The Previous Property Manger, Ronnie, has since left and since his departure my sister and I have had to deal with a variety of issues ranging from a lack of security (Her car was broken into), water being shut off throughout the entire complex and unfortunately, stereotyping.1. SECURITY: What is the point of having a gate when the guard just flags every and anybody through it without conducting a proper inspection? While the morning/afternoon guard(s) are always efficient in checking IDs and monitoring the area, the same is not true for the evening/overnight staff. At one point I was leaving my home consistently and very early around 4 a.m. to get to work, and the guard (older gentleman with glasses), was always sound asleep on the desk. I decided to take pictures of the guard on 3-4 separate occasions, and reported it.2. SECURITY (Part 2): My sister walked from our apartment to her vehicle one morning and discovered her car had been compromised. Someone attempted to break in and steal her car. It was clear the person was after her car since she hadnt left anything inside of it except a phone charger. After completing a police report, she seeked help from the Elle staff and was met with skepticism and doubt. Are you sure no one you know could have done it? We dont have crime over here. Instead of immediately running back the security footage, they stalled and quietly blamed my sister for what happened. Eventually, the tapes were rolled back and what do we see? Heavy traffic in and out of the gates between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Suspicion was immediately placed on a gentleman who walked aimlessly around the complex multiple times early that morning. The staff was surprised, and nothing has since been done. After the incident occurred on Saturday she didnt receive a call from the manager until Tuesday. The delay in response in the way the staff handled the situation, makes them appear uncaring and nonchalant.3. WATER - Simply put, if you like to brush your teeth, shower, or cook, be prepared to not be to do any of the before-mentioned activities without notice at least a couple times of month. There have been numerous occasions when I would wake up and prepare for my day/meetings/work and met with no water. There have been countless times when my sister would return from the gym and not be able to take a shower. The worst part? We were never notified..Why not? Because it was not routine maintenance, it was simply maintenance errors.4. STEREOTYPING: My sister and I pride ourselves on being college educated, well-rounded African American women, who work hard like most of our neighbors do, on a daily basis. So when the staff constantly sends our maintenance requests to the less expensive property across the street, assuming we live there and cant possibly have the money to afford living at the Elle, it truly offends us. Oh you live here at the Elle? You dont live at Vie? (insert shocked face).There have been many remarks made by the staff regarding my sisters car getting broken into, being told by our property manager that we need to learn what Ramadan is, thus assuming we were uneducated and ignorant and the overall customer service experience toward us, that has made us raise our eyebrows on several occasions.PROS:Spacious, quick and friendly maintenance, personal garages (which i suggest you lock up if you appreciate your belongings), great location, Nice morning/afternoon security, great 24 hr fitness facility w/ sauna (FYI some of the equipment has been broken for quite a while, but the working equipment is wonderful), and classes are held by a personal trainer.

I lived here for two years. First year was a good experience. But the second year was terrible! My neighbors keep having parties till the morning.

I live here for almost two years, and this year with the management change came all the bad customer service, maintenance, manager, very bad customer service never call back for a follow, im not a criminal im a hard working woman who pay her bills all the time, tonite i cant sleep because is a very bad smell on the apartment coming from the ac vents, like gas, i call maintenance and with very bad attitude he came knock my door with his face almost right in front of me, very mad i ask him to live, they say they dont have equipment for carbon monoxide, witch i believe is the odor, any way they are rude and have no manners when it cames to attend us their customers, i remind you, im not asking for a favor i pay my bills, and im getting tired of bad attitude and no answers, also the crime is getting worse and nothing is been done, i want to broke my contract and i cant because is no law for renters the cover this kind of things

There is no protection every week stolen by the resident and there is no reaction from the office and police and the prices are expensive and there is no continuous maintenance

The price is increasing too much! Our first contract was 1200$, six months later we renewed our lease, the price went to 1600! Now we are moving out on Oct, the price is going above 2000!!!. The management should know that most of people are moving out after their current contracts because of this unacceptable rent price.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Management is not responsive and very rude. Left so many voice messages / emails to settle a final statement and no call back or email back for months. It came to a point where they forwarded the case to a third party collector without even hearing out our questions and concerns about our final statement. None of their emails work. Even their inquiry email. I personally went to the office months after not hearing back and the whole experience was very unprofessional. We were being charged for damages in the apartment that we recorded as already damaged prior to moving in. They didn’t provide any copies of our forms and seemed to lost / misplaced our records. Taylor, the property manager, is very unresponsive, and very hard to get a hold of. This management doesn’t seem to care about their tenants / clients. Overall a horrible experience.
