Lived here when it first opened back in 2005.. left in 06. Started out very nice.. but see it has gone downhill since 🤣. I had to move because my wife was pregnant and couldnt walk up to the 3rd floor anymore. They were not willing to work with us to move to the 1st floor. So we had to break the lease. Best decision ever

Gates never work properly, management constantly getting refreshed, we spent a whole summer with a broken ac and their excuse was it wasnt broken until they ran out of fixes and decided to replace the whole thing...basically after summer was done with... Only positive thing here is rent.. compared to other places and benefits available, i had no choice than to resign my lease rather moving somewhere else and paying more for even lesser than what I got here... I can go all day about what i would change about this community but at the end of the its beyond my control and this wont change how they run their property, so if this is worth anything to you.. hope it helped make a decision.

So they decided it wad cool to toss all my things out days before i was told to leave which is the 15th im told that my things were tossed in the 14th...a whole Room Set! With no where about on my belongings i was forced to take a unfortunate loss and will now have to find a way to make up for all my lost goods...do not deal with these pathetic imbeciles

Have been here for 6 months and i can say these apartments are over priced. 1BR will cost more than $1100. Lets start with all the construction going on literally next to the building. There is no sleeping after 7AM. And the sad part is they have only started construction, this will be going on for a year or so! All the dust being picked up by the wind end up in your balcony and cars.The ice maker in our apartment has broken down 3x already and they just refuse to replace it.Handle on the microwave broke completely off, they just glued it on.. and now its broken again...our AC was not working for about 4 months and they refused to change it until it completely broke down and wouldnt turn on... our ac would freeze over and it would over work itself, our Light bill would be over $150 for a 1 bedroom apartment!!!! After the ac unit was changed our bill came down to $75!!!! Ridiculous.The gates never work. Remotes never work. Gate number never works. My husband has gone to the front office multiple times already.People always walking their dogs without leash and never picking up after them! Front office doesnt do anything about it.Broken down cars taking up parking spaces.*i want to note that front office manager responds to reviews but when we actually call them and let them know they do nothing!Husband has called multiple times about dogs being with out their leash, and the front office has done absolutely nothing in their power to fix it..they had the audacity to tell my husband to take a video and picture of other people with their dogs and to follow them to see where they live???? Ummm no thats the front office job. Under the leasing contract it states all dogs must be on a leash, FRONT OFFICE PLEASE DO YALLS JOB.

I don’t live here but I was seeking information about the property. The person that helped me was new, but she made my experience wonderful. Answered the phone when I FIRST called. She was empathetic to the situation I told her about. She was also honest about the apartment complex prices. Also when I questioned them about the break ins she told me that she couldn’t guarantee anything but told me the improvements that had been made to remedy the issue.

I was here visiting a friend July 4th, 2020 who lived in These apartment someone stole our car from here even while parked in the very front behind office and these apartments couldn’t offer camera surveillance to be able to assist because they didn’t have any in front or back gate and I believe the 4 young kids who stole my car live here and hide my car and take it out at night! Was seen on 45 and south bond cross timbers On top of it they had “security patrolling the area” all night clearly wasn’t doing his job if he couldn’t see that they where stealing my car! Don’t move in here!!! Take your business else where! I don’t live here and wouldn’t ever want to live somewhere that couldn’t help!

This place is NOT safe. Constant car break ins. People breaking & entering apartments. Attached is a screenshot of a video a resident posted on Ring of their door being kicked in at 2 am. (Sometimes you can’t see photo unless you are viewing via desktop or google maps app, but it’s definitely attached) Residents are breaking their lease because they do not feel safe. This place is NOT luxury. Stay away.

I have been living here since February and I absolutely love it!!! Quiet complex! The application process was smooth and easy! All of the office staff are very pleasant at all times. Laurie Fisher the assistant manager is absolutely a joy to deal with. She is very attentive and willing to assist with anything that you may need. Maintenance is pretty quick at fixing request.

So irresponsible! My friend is looking for apartments and she was so sure she wanted to move in here until i decided to look it up on google and see all the reports of people getting mugged and have their cars broken Into. This is so horrible, how could you put people at risk like that? No cameras, no safety? Disgusting

7 car were broken into this morning. This has been the fourth break in. Police were called and also advise the apartment complex does more. To add insult to injury I spoke with the manager adrianna regarding the new rule of no longer accepting packages at the leasing office due to the “volume it takes away from the staff.” Packages are now required to be left at your front door. With management knowing the previous break ins this contradicts the safety of their residents and property. We will not be renewing our lease. Also I spoke with manager Adrianna yesterday 02/18 regarding the issue of packages and break ins. She advise that a patrol car was hired. I’m uncertain how true that is due to the break in this morning 02/19 of 7 vehicles.

Don’t move in unless you want your car broken into. No 24 hr security or cameras. Gates never work. More than 20 cars broken into this morning. Can’t wait to move out.

The management at this property was so rude when I called. One of the property managers had her infant on the phone screaming and at the top of her lungs and hollering while I was trying to inquire about a two bedroom two bath for myself and my son. They are very unprofessional. I am not even a tenant yet, and I already see how I would be treated as one. I strongly recommend not to move to this property.

Carrington Place is not a bad complex. Given the location, there aren’t terrible things going on. However it is imperfect. No place is perfect but if you can deal with the following then this is a great place. Firstly, I’ve lived here for over a year and a half now and the cops have came 3 times to my building because of domestic violence and disturbance. I’ve personally never felt threatened but I definitely wouldn’t have children here. Second, the people are noisy. My neighbor bangs on their door all the time because it seems as if they only have one key (they’re a married couple) so instead of knocking to let each other in, they bang on the door. It’s just annoying. Another neighbor I share a wall with yells randomly and plays really loud music every weekend. Third, it’s true, the gates are ALWAYS broken or slow. They’re old and I think it’s time to replace them. I’d definitely take a small increase in rent if it meant getting new gates. The pool is also crazy during the summer. People are always having pool parties on Sundays and after dark when they’re not supposed to with alcohol and loud music but I guess no one cares. It doesn’t really bother me but if you’re a family that wants to enjoy the pool then don’t bother. There is also a slight roach problem. I think they get in after it rains and I know they don’t spray every building once a month, they rotate. I know this because I had a roach problem not too long after moving in and the office explained that they choose different buildings to spray every month. When that happened, the fix was pretty easy though! Overall, if you’re single or childless then it’s decent because of the low rent and everything so far is manageable. If you have a family or a decent budget then there are definitely better places. When our next lease is up we will be moving however because we can now afford to live somewhere newer and with better amenities but it’s a decent place to start out or if you are on a budget!

Great place to live, very quiet and peaceful. Claudia was super helpful and made moving in such a breeze! Upon moving in I did not notice any of the complaints some of the reviews state and the minor little things I decided I personally didnt like, Claudia and the staff sent maintenance over right away and fixed the issue on the spot! Couldnt be happier with the professionalism of the staff and community! Im excited to call this home!

I love this apartment complex - Claudia made my application status and move -in very smooth. I have had a couple of maintenance requests and she sends someone right away! I have tried calling to the office and speaking to others, but they have left me on hold forever or told me how they cant handle the busy day etc - Claudia makes everything seem so easy to handle and stays on top of what is thrown at her! Thanks - and i recommend this place! Nice apartments - the only request is to please get the car wash and vacuum fixed :)

I love living at Carrington Place. The office staff and maintenance staff are always very friendly and helpful even when they are busy they stop to pay attention to me and help me. It is very quiet here and I am very comfortable. Belinda, Laurie and Laura are the best!!

I have only lived here for a few months, and thus far, the staff has been very helpful and friendly. Jessica is a member of the leasing office and goes over and beyond for her residents. She takes a special interest in the neighborhood children, making them feel loved and special. Good value for the space, location, and amenities.

Ive been living here for about 6 months now and I love it. The manager Ms. Laurie is always available if you have any issues. If I have any maintenance issues they come the same day or the day after. I always have a parking spot in front my apartment. I really dont have any complaints. I love this place.

Have mold all over in the bathroom. Mentioned it to the office very politely 3 days ago. No one has been out. After the first day, we were told weekends are for “emergency” maintenance only. Called today about them coming out, was told they would be here. By 5 they still had not arrived. Called to office to ask when they would be here seeing as there was a maintenance car in our lot, we’re told there was a “higher priority” call that needed to be taken care of. They were not sent to our building. I have asthma and have been having a very hard time breathing. Apparently still not a high priority to them. Maintenance finally shows and says “well if you would have cleaned it every day. It wouldn’t be like this.” Excuse me? I’m calling you BECAUSE I’ve been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and it comes back worse every. Single. Time. Office and maintenance are absolutely no help. Would never recommend anyone to live here. If there is no resolution, I will be filing a report with the DOH.

Since I been in Houston this has been one of the best experience from day one. Staff is very warm and welcoming. The two maintenance issues I had was fixed immediately. I feel real welcome, unthreaten, and safe for my lil family and I. Never missed a payment with rent and I’m sure if ever do they will work with me until I get back on track. I like it here and I’m sure you will too.

Its great here Ive lived in these apartments almost 2 years and my experience has been great. The staff and management are very welcoming, always smiling and making you feel right at home. The maintenance team is very quick and professional. I love it here......Penny Hixon your the best, she has a laugh that keeps you going👌😄

Worst apartment living experience ever. I will say there are some very nice people in the complex. But the pool is always broken. I lived near the front near garbage disposal and trash was always everywhere. Customer service was avg. Many times theyd blow off service requests. The gates are always broken so a false sense of security. People that want to get in sit outside the gate and wait until it opens. As I was loading my car to move, someone in the complex who had been watching me stole my laptop computer out of my car. So there are less than savory characters that live there. They do NOT provide notices of theft or other illegal activity in the complex so you are clueless as to what goes on. Padding under the carpet is non-existent so you hear every footstep if someone lives above you. Pay attention to your lease because if you miss the 60-day prior notice mark on your intent to move out, youll be screwed.

They never call you, not even if you live there! They do not call you back when they say they will. They dont get anything done they say they will. Not even if you go up there and speak to the manager, still nothing. Waste of time and money. The apartments are nice but there are roaches and they wont be from you. There also seems to be a pot problem there ... They wont care if anyone smokes inside the apartment stinking up yours. So good luck with that.

I have lived here for just over a month and so far it has been great. Very spacious apt, and I cant hear people below me. The upgrades in the apt are very nice and and there is always a close parking spot which I cant say about other places I have lived. Complex is pretty quiet.Only complaint would be that they only have one treadmill so when it rains and I cant run outside I have to either wait or not work out for that day if someone else is on it. Other complexs I have lived in have 2 or 3 treadmills.

BIG MISTAKE!!! DONT!!! Current Manager is terrible, she dont care. Not as good as it looks, roach infested. Several breakins, and if you want to meet your car sitting on the floor and all wheels stollen then you should move here. No security and you are not safe. This place is complete trash.

Horrible place to live the parking sucks, and we constantly have problems with management (horrible attitudes). They have fleas really bad and I’ve never had this problem until the new management took over. Can’t wait till my lease is up. PLEASE do NOT reach out to me management. Would not recommend to anyone.

This is not a review but a big thanks to those who wrote them. I was seriously considering this place as it had everything I was looking for........centralized area to and from work, lots of businesses and food places to go, attached garage, competitive rent price.But I make my big decisions based on other peoples experiences and overall, everyone that wrote a review has had the same issues with this place.Thank you for providing this great information before I made the mistake of going by to do a walk through and hear their sales pitch. Ill take my $20,000 rent budget elsewhere.God Bless you all!!

Nice apartments

I am so happy to be out I absolutely hate this place from day one roaches and broken ac units. Some rooms colder then others take forever to get anything repaired I was there nearly a year and after constant emails and complaints nothing gets done. Police are always called due to armed robbery car Jacks drug deals all hours of the night. Front gate always broken . Management are the worse ever need to all get fired no compassion or consideration for others. One rule for one tenant different for others use scare tactics when your a day late on rent either eviction notices Im do glad to be gone but Ill still be back in the summer to use the pool thats how terrible the security is

These apartments don’t even deserve a star maintenance is a nightmare we smelled a chemical leak and the technician showed and put a filter in the ac then bailed after saying he would be back this is not the first time maintenance has let us down we have literally had the same thing happen 15 other times, we’ve spent the whole summer sweltering because are ac was broke and we called regularly and they would technically say we’re lying. These apartments are trash don’t move here. It’s a joke. The parking sucks.

Carrington place is one of the best apartments here. And one of the most important things makes it that way is the employee, specially laurie Fisher. She is a great person and a lovely lady, so honest, never hesitate to help and solve problems, never late to reply e-mails, always smiling and greeting yet so professional when it comes to apartment’s regulations and rules. Honestly she made my stay here so comfy. Thank you laurie Fisher.

Sketchy and Shady office staff. When we pay our rent they either dont post it or claim to have lost the payment or deposited it in another account. This is the second time something like this has happened this year. These apartments are not worth 1 star. If you want your money stolen, call Belinda, Latoya, or Aida. I am sure they will figure out a way to lose your money and try to force you to fix their mistakes. Dont bother talking to the property manager Amanda, she doesnt know what is going on on her property nor does she show empathy for her or her staffs mess ups. Oh and dont bother asking for their regional manager Theresa Kosts phone number so that you can have someone in upper management properly address your issues. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and incompetent of doing their jobs. I had to call corporate because the Carrington Place apartments are shady and lazy.

The parking here is a joke. They want you to pay for a secure apartment complex when in reality the gates are broken half the time and their maintenance team doesnt do jack squat. I personally had to fix their back gate because it was broken for a week and no one was working on it. And forget about parking in front of your building on a weekend. The front office is so inept at their jobs that they cant think of a way for actual residents to park in front of their own buildings. Instead look forward to walking from 2 buildings over if not more. Overall the complex is nice but the people running it dont know what theyre doing.

The place is nice! And the pool is huge not deep but huge. I have been here about 9 months and have not had any problems with the apt itself until today my ac went out yesterday and I called and told them yesterday and its been a whole 24 hrs and no one has come and looked at it.

SO many things to list but we will stick with the main ones...... This apartment used to be a nice place but the last 1 1/2 its gone down hill so fast we have to move, one of our vehicles was broken into 3 times in 6 months, my other vehicle was stolen 3 months after that, the apartment complex a/c goes out ever other month, they no longer replace light bulbs, we caught a couple having sex on our stair case, kids jump the femce at all hours of the night, the police have been called SEVERAL times for youths waiving guns in the back of the complex, its HORRIBLE now trust me

Staff isnt very organized and I had to continually call to get things done. I would wait weeks for a call back. Gym isnt to bad and either is the pool. The apartment itself is very susceptible to mold although I deep cleaned it regularly. The neighbors that I had to the left of me were constantly outside getting in fights and waking people in the middle of the night. If we didnt have to deal with management and the staff, I wouldve given at least 3 stars.

I have loved this place since I first walked in the office .The entire office staff has been great from day 1 .Thank you to manager and team always available & respectful. Location is awesome, apartments are nice, quite & spacious .

We moved in earlier in the year and me and my boyfriend had no problems, loved our new place, until the new management took over. We had water coming from the upstairs apartment through the ceilings, we called emergency number to come have it fixed but it wasnt deemed a problem and didnt get fixed until days later... then the repair to the apartment took weeks. Then there was an issue of rent. We went down to the office to ask how much the rent was, because we were never told our exact rent amount, we cut a check then two days later we got a notice on our door saying we owe more money. It wasnt much so we just paid it with the next months rent, didnt think that much about it. Then this month the same thing happened and again got a notice that we were two dollars short, thinking okay no big deal just pay it with next months rent like we did before... that was not the case now all of a sudden the two dollars turned into two hundred dollars. When I called the lady Penny, I believe her name, she was very rude and very nasty about the two dollars. She said we need to pay the two dollars that day or we would have pay the two hundred dollars or get evicted. Never had this happened before, I can understand if I was significantly short but being two dollars short due to no fault of our own is unforgivable. This new management is more horrible than having sand in your crotch, the old management had their problems but at least they had customer service skills and they were personable. The advice your mom gave you as a child about accepting candy from strangers is true, cause they are bad people.

Great location, staff always friendly and helpful to me. The space with excellent with plenty of storage. Great amenities which included washer & dryer and great community deal on Wi-Fi / cable. Apartment was move in ready with new carpet and paint. Maintenance was a little slow during the end of my stay I had to ask twice for them to complete the job. If I lived in Houston again, I would definitely move back to these apartments. Never bothered by bugs or loud kids where I was located.

I really loved this place when we moved in. The location is awesome. Walmart is right across the street, there are tons of restaurants and stores right at your fingertips. Things started to go south when our unit became infested with bed bugs. Even after they treated our unit, we began to start to see roaches. The last straw was our kids got lice from their pool. At the time, I had just had a newborn and Im a stay at home mom so the kids had not been anywhere except the pool then a few days later we noticed the eggs. Unfortunately we had to move because of my husbands job but I wouldve loved to stay here if they wouldve taken care of the pests. Apartments are really nice and quiet. There is a park right behind the complex and as I said, everything is walking distance. Jessica was always nice and helpful and they alway have stuff going on for residents at the club house.

WHEN EVER I HAVE TO ASK THEM FIX SOMETHING IN THE APARTMENT I HAVE TO REMIND THEM CONSTANTLY . I AM TRYING TO FIND THE NUMBER FOR THEIR TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR VERY BAD STAFF AND I WAS ABOUT TO RECOMMEND MY FRIEND TO THEM BUT I DONT WANT TOO NOW . .. VERY UN HAPPY .

DO NOT RENT WITH THE APARTMENTS!! If I could leave it at NO stars I would! The people who run these apartments are completely unreasonable and unprofessional. They are unwilling to be sympathetic to their residents and will instantaneously try to evict you! They only approach residents with problems and completely insulting and unreasonable solutions. You may offer a solution but they will not comply in any manner. They are rude and horrible people. I wish I had never leased here. Please learn from my mistake and DO NOT LEASE with them. They apartment was dirty when we moved in, so much so that it looked as if it was never cleaned. When a complaint is given to them they will do nothing about it. The trash is always overflowing and gates are broken most of the time. Even if the gates are working people come in and out by just waiting for someone to enter or exit. If you have maintenance issues which you will. Do not bother calling because it will not be fixed for days. When it finally gets fixed it will continue to happen. It is not the incompetence of maintenance staff but the managers, who again are unwilling to do anything about a problem. God forbid you talk to them on the phone. They will hang up on you. If you go to the office and speak with them in person they will just walk away. I am a real person but choose to remain anonymous due to retaliation which I know these terrible people are capable of. If you have any doubts you can look at all the other complaints. I realize I should have looked at them myself. If you do lease here it WILL NOT be a home, it will be a room or two plus utilities. You can find better apartments around this area.

The Management has improved throughout the many changes. Its going to a ton to make it great & I believe the current people here have what it takes!!

I am reposting my Yelp review from 7/6/2017I have lived here for a year now and I could not be more appalled by this place.The management is completely two faced. They take every opportunity to try to evict you but at least they dont forget to smile while they do it. I have paid my rent on time with the exception of two times due to being away, however I remedied that issue two days later but still received an eviction notice on my door with a big fat fine. They are also fans of leaving FAKE EVICTION NOTICES in order to force me to make the decision that is most convenient for them. I recently just tried to renew my lease because Im stuck here financially, and they made us jump through so many hoops it might just be easier AND CHEAPER to move elsewhere!Maintenance takes their sweet time getting things done, we were told that we would have lights with fans on them in the bedrooms but when we arrived we had two rooms with lights that didnt work and our third bedroom didnt even have a light, and more than half of our outlets dont work! There is mold growing in the air vents and in the toilets despite constant bleaching and scrubbing. When we first moved in we immediately noticed that fist marks that were in our door and requested a new one....ONE YEAR LATER I STILL HAVE A DOOR WITH FIST IMPRINTS IN IT, OUTLETS THAT DONT WORK, AND MOLD.The property itself is below average, dog poop everywhere you look!AND this property in my opinion is completely unsafe, I was held up at gunpoint not even 15 feet from my front door. There are no lights near parking areas and the security guard that supposedly roams the property is nowhere to be seen. The front and back gates are always broken, NOT ONCE IN THE YEAR I HAVE LIVED HERE HAVE THE GATES BEEN FULLY FUNCTIONAL. The street behind the property is just as bad the rest of it too. Ive seen drug deals going down (on my way to work), speeding (you hear them racing down the street around 11pm), sketchy people walking around at all hours of the night (not to mention they can walk freely onto the property due to broken gates!), and there are constantly broken down 18-wheelers parked all along the road.Our neighbors are loud and constantly have their music thumping at inappropriate times of night (I have no problem with a party here and there, but I dont appreciate it on a Monday night at 2am). Since the parking is first come first serve dont be surprised if you have to park on the other side of the building from your apartment, usually because people like to take up two spaces and the management doesnt do anything about it. Weve put in numerous complaints to management with no results. I honestly wouldnt care if they would make sure the parking areas were well lit so I wouldnt have to walk in the dark.If you think the reviews on here are a much of people just complaining think again. These statements and events are true. Ask to talk to a resident when you come to visit the property, anyone can tell you exactly whats been going on.Youll see plenty on them storming out of the office.

This is by far one of the WORST complexes I have ever lived in. The Leasing Agents at the front office are rude and extremely lazy. I have gone into the front office on multiple occasions where I was not even acknowledged while a leasing agent was sitting at his desk on his cell phone. I also could not get the agent to go check in the back for my package which I later found out THEY lost because they were having maintenance hand deliver packages directly into the residents apartments. GOOD LUCK even trying to get maintenance to come out to your apartment. The maintenance men themselves are very polite but expect a solid week before you will actually get someone out to your apartment. The trash is a disaster there! The trash compactor was constantly broken so they placed trash dumpsters throughout the complex so there is always trash all over the place in the parking lots. The ONE grill at the pool is always out of propane. I went into the front office to let them know it was out of propane and they asked ME to get a new one and bring in a receipt for reimbursement. Which, of course, a reimbursement NEVER happened. The apartments themselves are okay. I would say they do a good job with upkeep. But if you care anything about how the management treats you then I do not recommend this complex.

THIS IS CRYSTAL ME & MY SISTER LIVE IN THESE APTS MY BOYFRIEND TRUCK GOT STOLEN LAST NIGHT OUT OF OUR APARTMENT BUILDING. I CALLED TO SEE WHAT THEY CAUGHT ON CAMERA SINCE THEY HAVE A SIGN UPFRONT SAYING WE HAVE CAMERAS THAT WORK 24/7. THE LADY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE TOLD ME THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE CAMERAS. I PROCEEDED TO TELL HER THAT THEY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS WE DO HAVE CAMERAS & HER RESPONSE WAS WE DONT HAVE CAMERAS THAT WORK RIGHT NOW. IN THAT CASE THEY NEED TO TAKE THE SIGN OFF & EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF THEIR SURROUNDINGS. MOST LIKELY IT HAD TO OF BEEN SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. THANK GOD I WILL BE MOVING OUT ONCE MY LEASE IS UP. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE LIVING HERE ANYMORE.

My apartments was broke in and it took numerous calls to get my door fixed. Not only that but no alert to other residents that their safety is on jeopardy. And let’s be very clear no one knows where I stay. They are letting in different types of people who stay home a lot

I just moved out 3 days ago and couldnt be happier. I have wasted 2 years of my time and money at these apartments. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The management is horrible no matter how many times they try to change the people in the front office. They are rude, lazy and like to give you the run around. The apartments are over priced and are NOT luxury. There has been an increase of theft and now there is a security guard that comes almost every night. He sits at the front all night, not doing a damn thing. I just get mad when I have to pass by there for work. Save yourself the headache of moving here, you will be disapointed.

I have lived here a month and i love it, its quiet, staff is always helpful. maintenance always comes on time, and the grounds are well kept.

It’s VERY unfortunate to have been unprofessionally approached by (Laurie-Laura, the Assistant Manager) about walking my ESAs at 907am Monday morning. Without any greeting, hopping out of that brand new black Golf Cart, she insisted on asking which apartment I lived at, following me at the same time. While in my nightgown, I simply stated that I am just visiting and asked if there was an issue. She insisted on asking what was the apartment number, and/or names of whom I am visiting. At this point, I also noticed her eyeing some big turds that were already in the grass considering my ESAs cannot produce that massive dump the size of a larger dog not a tiny YorkiePoo. She then states that dogs need to be leashed and the people who I am visiting will be receiving a $200 fine for unauthorized dogs. My “dogs” are not pets, they are ESAs and well- trained, but Laurie-Laura had already made the assumption the moment she spoke it seemed. As a person in a higher management myself, her unprofessional approach was all wrong and I as a visitor, (WAS considering being a future resident) would have thought Carrigton Place Apartments would have higher management representative standards. This issue would not have been an issue if Laurie-Laura would have had a different more friendly approach, and not demeaning, then I would have acknowledged that she is just trying to do her job, and that my animals are ESAs not simply pets in her eyes. Therefore all could have been better to start my week on this Monday. Hopefully a Call of action is in place and an Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) can be in affect to help refresh those management skills, as I know her approach would have been different. Many thanks and happy to help.TO FOLLOW-UP: Laure/Laura has called around to all the residents in the building to find out who I am here visiting and disturbed their busy day. After watching me from a distance (STILL) to see if I had cleaned after my ESAs poo, which I did come back out to do since I knew Laurie/Laura was watching from a distance in that Black Golf cart putting up my ESAs. I find this very disturbing coming from apart of STEADFAST COMPANIES who values are to BUILD VALUE and PURSUE EXCELLENCE.

My daughter and son have been living there for 1yr and 5mths they love it there jessica is amazing and so is the manager they really make u feel at home its very nice and quite never had a problem with roaches and omar hes really cool i would tell eveyone to move here they are awesome god bless u guys

HORRIBLE do not move here. Management sucks their customer service sucks and maintenance sucks!! I have only been here for 1 month and my apartment was not ready when I moved in and there are damages such as the ceiling that has not been fixed. Rats and roaches break ins and robberies all tied to one. The property manage doe not care about anyone there even though we pay her salary. The living conditions are getting to be unbearable. Not only does Shannon (the property manager) not want to do her job but I do not think that she knows what she is dealing with. This is peoples home where they are supposed to be at peace. I dont think that she is considerate of everything because if there is mold or mildew inside the apartment she will tell you that you have to pay $400 to transfer and pay another $250 deposit even though this is something that tenants have no control over. We pay money to these people who do not do their job and make it a horrible environment and a horrible place to live. DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been living here for almost 2 yrsAt first I lived in the apts in the back, which I didn’t know was roach infested ( they would be in my stove, in the garbage can, and one dropped off ceiling on me in front of company! Verrry embarrassing)soo from me not reading all the reviews I found this to be a problem in the past with other tenants in the units in the back of the apartment complex, sooo let me proceed, ive never been late on my rent, never gave them no issues but one with my kid, but we haven’t had no other problems with management until Tuesday the 7/31/2019 I parked my car in a handicapped parking which I’m wrong, but at nite there’s hard to get parking and I would have to park near the garbage site and where someone attempted to break in her car and it was reported to management but ignored til she went in the office, so at nite because there’s only one resident in my part of the complex that’s handicapped and 2 spaces, I choose to use one that’s open, which I been doing for a year, so this day 7/31/19 Laurie the assistant property manager decides to tow my car, without a simple warning. To me it could’ve been handled much better, that’s how they treat a loyal rent paying resident! I will be looking for other living options when my lease is up, there’s no restrictions on dog size, and management don’t manage where the residents wit pets poop at! Soo u might have poop on the side walk, urine smell in your threw way to get to your apt. Or even dog poop in front ur DOOR! Soooo I was fooled when I came doing the day and looked at the apartment, they are dressed up hood apartments! And was already gonna move but didn’t want my kid to change schools sooo I hope this is helpful, don’t be fooled trails of Eldridge across the street is much better and management gets a better rating and they renovated apartment are way more luxurious and the same price or cheaper! If you don’t believe me just ride around and ask tenants and see ! And I hope they reply ! I’m just telling the truth

Awful.We lived here for 1.5 years. They will promptly take care of your first maintenance issue, but wait until you go in a couple of times. They do nothing about mold in the apartments. Every now in then we had Nats in the entire building. They did nothing to help us solve that issue either.The road at the back is a haven for drug dealing and cars racing up and down at all hours of the night. As a bonus, both front and back gates are never in working order. The pedestrian gate at the back was open to anyone the entire time we lived here.Some of the residents are the absolute worst - leaving garbage strewn all over the roads and Not picking up after your dogs.In the short time we lived there they went through 5 different mangers. Over all their staff is horrible. (Penny) Never offer any solutions or help to the customers. They are rude and lazy not to mention very unorganized. My rent was stolen and lost twice. Two of those times I was evicted and they didnt take in consideration that they had misplaced my money orders. When we lived here, it was quite reasonable ($900 a month for a 2 bed with free cable) but they wanted to up our rent to closer to $1300 a month and now you have to pay for mandatory cable with Comcast . There are nicer apartments with nicer residents where you will feel safer. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. Save yourself a huge headache and move on to a better option. DONT MOVE IN HERE.

This place sucks new management is closing the pool all the time the maintenance use to b e good before new management now we cant get know one down to our apartment to fix anything.

Besides the severe roach infestation, it wasnt such a bad place.However I didnt want to wake up each morning with a roach crawling in my shirts or come oozing out of the sink. When I called management they said you should make sure the pest control comes every tuesday to spray your apartment or the classic blame your neighbor for the infestation problem kinda answers.

I shopped around for a place to live for my daughter & I for months & it had to be a place where she could stay in Cy-fair high school. I found Carrington place & I have loved it since I first walked in the office. Jessica & Penny were both very attentive & very helpful at helping me get ready to move in. Maintenance promptly did the repairs I listed on my move in list & since then I have turned in about 3 work orders on little things & maintenance has responded & repaired the next day. I havent seen not one roach or other infestation. The apartment is spacious & very nice. The gates have worked properly everyday since weve been here. The pool is huge not deep but very big & always very clean & in working order. One thing I noticed when I was doing my application was that when a tenant walked through that door & if Jessica seen them she greeted them warmly & by name. And a lot of people came in that day because they were doing a community luncheon. I like how they schedule activities & get togethers for the tenants so we can get to know one another. The entire office staff has been great from day 1 . My daughter likes to go down to the office & just visit & each of them welcome her to do so. I havent seen any kids running wild. The cops have not been called here not once in the 2 months Ive been here. Someone said the walls were thin & I find that amusing because I havent heard my neighbors yell, talk, or their music or t.v.s not once. One has 2 big dogs & I havent heard the dogs from inside my apartment, but if I go outside my front door I can hear them bark, but not inside my apartment, so I dont believe they have thin walls. I have never seen trash thrown all over the grounds & the dumpster has never been overflowing since Ive been here. As far as car bresk-ins havent heard of any of them either, but this is the Houston area & common sense is to not leave anything of value in your car ! I am writing this because it is easy for someone to get butthurt over something that didnt go their way & write a bad review. And that happens more then when someone is perfectly satisfied & writes a good review. My theory is out of 10 people at least 2 are going to be unsatisfied about something. So for every 2 bad reviews I read, I just think ok, their was 8 other people satisfied. So use that old saying Ill believe it when I see it & check them out for yourself before you make up your mind, cause remember for every 2 bad reviews you read, their are 8 other people living happily in their beautiful apartment with thick walls, with beautiful well maintained grounds, & a beautiful pool & work out center !

My dishwasher wasnt working appropriately. Omar fixed it immediately because he was going out of town for Christmas vacation. He knew exactly what was wrong when I described the problem to him. Best maintenance guy here.

Bad management, they never return your call, unless you get the better business bureau on their tail. We moved out on 06/26/16, and early August we were wondering where our deposit refund was, I called and a woman with a spanish accent answered, explaining that it hadnt even been processed yet. She advised Peggy the manager would call us the next day to resolve it, but we never received any call. So we reported the situation to the BBB and the check was magically delivered within a few days, and Peggy suddenly cared about our well being. Please have the courtesy of doing what you say you will do, and dont sit on returning peoples deposits, when you demand it immediately upon move in. Other than that, do not sign up for their electricity plan, they will charge you fees & unexplained rates as they see fit, and backcharge you for things you thought were already paid when you paid your rent every month. I understand being 1 month backcharged, but when we moved out on 06/26 there were charges from March and April on our final bill, didnt make any sense to me. If you are going to live here prey you dont get a roach infested building, we encountered a ton in the 9200 building during our stay especially in the kitchen, baby roaches, medium, adult, you name it. And dont say were dirty people, we never had roaches in our previous apartment and we dont in our new one. We never leave food out, either. Youll still get charged a pest control fee on your bill, though. Other negatives, the gates were always and I mean AlWAYS broken, and the trash dumpsters were always absurdly full & spilling out onto the street, wish I could post pictures here. It wouldnt have been so bad if the place were properly maintained with better staff, but all the negatives left a terrible taste in my mouth. For the price theyre charging, there are better places to live.

Their units are run down and have toxic mold in them. When you let management know all they do is wipe it down and offer to let you stay and continue to breath the toxins or break your lease. However, if you dont stay because you prefer to keep your family safe, they will just put another tenant in the unit and continue to focus on the almight dollar. Greed is the property managements game. If you have any other issues within your unit, dont expect a solution within a timely manner. There are constantly break-ins occuring. Trash is every where. Its awful. Look elsewhere is my suggestion!!!!

It didnt flood and its extreamly nice

I lived for a year and a half at these apartments, the first year it was great, then they changed ownership. What a joke, the people in the office are totally clue-less. The last six months I was getting all kinds of notices in my door for the dumbest things. They changed the account personal three times in six months, the people in customer service only know one word sorry, then as I am finally getting out of that place I get a phone call asking if I want to stay, REALLY I told the office manager that I had already moved out a week earlier. On my way out I left them with a forwarding address so I could get my final water bill and here it is 10-2-2014 still no bill. I guess I will call the water company myself and get them out a check . Oh one more thing I had a lawyer on call waiting for the last of the bullsh-- to hit the fan, I took pictures of everything in that apartment as not to go through any bull down the road. If you rent from them and I would think twice before doing that, make sure you watch what the office is doing, they can mess you up really bad with your credit and such if you do not keep on top of them. GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE WHO RENTS THERE !!!!

Ive been living here 3 years and I dont have nothing negative so say at all about my apt, I think people need to be more responsable with they own personal space instead to blame outsiders like roaches issues, I was reading reviews and We never had roaches bf here never bc you need to be clean and organize to keep them far way . Now Im taking this time to post this bc I just moved out to my new House and I need to say Thank You to Vincenta, Laura and Omar Great Team !!! always available and respectful. My experiences was very GOOD! I will live here again if I have need to! Thank you ! really I dont understand the others reviews but this is my real experience.

I currently live in Carrington Place and i have lived there about 2 years. Therefore i have been there through new management and so forth. To Michelle, you must work for Carrington Place because no one who actually lives there would say that the people posting on this page are just complaining. We i moved in i thought it was great. The service was average but the apartment was nice, new carpet, and beautiful design. I thought me and family would be safe, gated community, nice area, and police officer that lives in my building. Which is want they (management) wants you to believe. However shortly after I realized there is never parking available, which may just be in my area. But also 2 months after moving in i went into labor and the same night my Husband but my hospital bag in the trunk of his car someone broke in and stole it, along with camera and i-pod. The complex showed no compassion when my husband was forced to park in the back because of the limited parking. Just this passed week we have had 3 home invasions, one of which in the same building with the cop, and yes Carrington failed to notify. I only found out because happened to speak with the victims. As far as repairs, the bathroom applicances constantly breaks and malfunctions resulting in numberous calls, some answered and others ignored. About 5 times they claimed they did not recieve my rent and posted eviction threats on my door. Causing me to call and inquire (worried of course) about eviction only to be told, O yeah we have your payment just disregard it. Do not move here. For the price (which goes up substancely everytime you renew) it is not worth it. Lastly please please read your lease! There are added fees, increases, and penalties. In the two years my rent has increased by 300 dollars. This is the truth.

Apartment under new management had a gnat problem and the ice maker wasnt working properly the manger called me also the assistant manager called me sent pest control out took care of the problem also gave me a call kept me updated Im really satisfied with the employees they understood my frustration and took care of the apartment as promise

My family has lived in these apartments for almost one year and noticed that there are a lot of dangerous and bad creatures and been seeing these creatures 10 and more each day and are very bad we do not expect these apartments at all and mostly every day all we see is bigger and bigger roaches, spiders,and garden snakes every where and if you do not like roaches then you will be seeing these things crawling everywhere in your apartment also there were a lot of police reports in these apartments and all the time we hear police cars, fire trucks, and ambulance everywhere it’s just horrible

At first it seemed like a nice place, however the attention from the staff is not the best, except for Mrs. Belinda and mr. Omar, who does provide a good service. The rest does not help solve the problems raised. There is not good security, yesterday they stole a vehicle, they do not clean the buildings, the prices are high for the bad service that they often lend
