I have gone on over a half dozen trips with Chip over the past 10 years and have NEVER had a boring experience. Whether its Bull Reds, Sea Bass, Snapper, or some monster sharks that your looking for Outcast has you covered. Best fishing charter Ive ever gone on, period. Just look at my pics.

I booked a half day charter with Chip for my son and I to go fishing while in Hilton Head. I have vacationed in Hilton Head since I was 5 years old, and have never been on a fishing trip there. My son and I have fished several other places so we have some ocean experience fishing. From the moment I met Chip, I knew we would be have a great day. Chip was hands on with my son and my nephew helping them to ensure they had a great time. He was personable, and most of all knowledgeable! Aside from the enjoyable and educational fishing experience, the testament of Chips legacy on Hilton Head island was when Fred, I believe an egret (bird), saw us return to the dock on Chips boat. Fred flew over to his boat, landed on the back while Chip handed him a bait fish to eat. It was a neat ending to the day and showed me how much Chip is a part of the island.Looking forward to our next vacation, and for sure going to connect with Chip again for another outing. Thanks!

First time fishing in the ocean and Capt. Chip didnt disappoint. Steady action on the 4 hour trip. And topped off with my bucket list fish, which turned out being a 70 inch, 120+ lb. Tarpon. Fish of a lifetime. Laughed and joked and had a great time. Great with kids also. Definitely want to do it again.

I was in town for business and had a few extra days which suited my schedule perfectly considering I was hoping to do a little fishing. I found Captain Chip through my brother-in-law in Atlanta who recommended him. Right off the bat I was informed about the unpredictable weather that Hilton Head has in February. We departed at 11am to avoid the cooler morning, it was still cool out but the ocean was calm. As soon as we arrived at one of Captain Chips secret spots we began catching fish. Dogfish and the biggest Redfish Ive ever seen, most around 40lbs. At one point, we had 3 on at once. He had informed me that just 3 weeks ago he hooked a Great White in that same exact spot, incredible! I had a great time. Captain Chip is a very knowledgeable guy with great charisma and just fun to be around. I highly recommend him and look forward to coming back in the Spring to catch a tiger shark. Thanks again!

Fishing charters are all about the Captain. Chip is the best. We had the experience of a lifetime. My wife and I along with our three boys will always have a great memory. Bring your camera and snap away. We were catching sharks, laughing and having a great time. Book a charter, you will have no regrets!

We have used Outcast fishing, or as we refer to the captain Chip the Shark Guy, for several years. We have never had a bad experience. We have asked for large shark fishing and caught an 800 pound Tiger Shark. We have asked for a kids shark trip and caught 5 small sharks that my young sons could real in and hold up. Chip is a fantastic guide and every year we go to Hilton Head we will have this adventure on our list.

No doubt about, Chip is legit. Had a great first time and was able catch 9 sharks varying in size from 10-280lbs (blacktip, hammerhead, black nose, lemon). Chip lets you reel them all in, but coaches you the whole way. Look forward to going again next year!

Oh man!!! We have been on various other charters on the island and Captain Chip gave us an expiernce like never before. I have been coming to Hilton Head for close to 20 years and he helped make this trip one of the most memorable I have had. (And I got married on the island). If you can only book one charter this is THE one to book.

If you are looking for the best deep sea fishing in Hilton head. THIS IS THE CHARTER! read my review of the day!I would like to share my experience with outcast fishing. We went out on the boat today, everything was ready and left on time. Went and caught bait and went out fishing. All I can say is WOW!!! What an experience. Chip was amazing. We started off catching smaller fish. We caught 6 sharks 35 lbs and below and 2 other fish. Then we went out for the bigger sharks. We caught a 5.5 ft 100 pounder and then a 30 pounder. After that we tossed out one last line and we got a the chase for a 300 pound lemon shark. We caught it and brought it to he side of the boat. What a great time. Chip was knowledge, kind, fun and helpful. This was 4 of us our first time going. We will be back and only use outlook sports fishing!

Chip is 100% legit. He doesnt force you to write a 5 star review. All these reviews (and the TripAdvisor ones) are the opinions of the people that wrote them. And also, book far in advance!!! I had to book my charter 6 weeks in advance!!!! And he really does catch monsters! I caught a 10.5 foot, 400 lb Great Hammerhead Shark. It was the hardest thing Ive ever done in my life. It was so hard to hold on and reel it in. I was solo, so he brought a friend to help me out. This is no 4 hour, small shark fishing trip. YOU BETTER BE READY FOR A TANK! He also gets amazing pictures with his GoPro that he sends to you afterwards. All in all, everything was amazing. If youre looking to catch an actual SHARK, not a baby one, hit him up

Best charter ever. Captain Chip was very friendly. We had a lot of fun and learned many things. We had met Captain Chip before and knew he was nice, but the charter was 1,000 times better than we expected. We caught 3 sharpnose sharks, 3 blacktips, and a 260 lb bull shark. Even if we didnt catch any fish, this wouldve been a great experience. Captain Chip had a strategic plan and took us to a great spot. We couldnt believe the sharks we caught. I will never forget when we were so excited with the sharpnose sharks, and Chip told us to wait and see what eats those sharks. And boy was he right! This was a really awesome experience that I will never forget!
