It was amazing! We were 1st timers and felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole experience. Everyone had a good amount of time in the air and all said wed do it again. If you havent tried it...go for it and with this company. Its peaceful and beautiful!!

Great experience renting a pontoon for the day! Guy that works at Hilton Head Harbor was super friendly and knowledgeable! Told us good places to check out! Can’t remember his name but has long black hair. Will definitely be back!

The boat could barely get over 12 mph and was really struggling. I was pretty sure we could paddle faster and there were a few spots that we were pretty nervous with waves coming in the boat due to waves and bigger boats. The doors did not stay shut and the canopy was pretty rough. The workers were very helpful and kind! We did get to see lots of dolphins 🐬 so that was the best part.

We took a guided kayak tour with Island Head. It was a beautiful but breezy morning. Our guide Tim was in tune with that and made sure we were comfortable going out. He is the best guide, he took us over to the area around Pinckney and we paddled through the marshy areas. We were so elated to see the dolphin up close and personal! We had the best time! Thanks Tim and Island Head!

Courtney went so far above and beyond to assist my family and I, I honestly cannot imagine anyone doing all she did for us. Had a great time parasailing today. Check in was easy and everyone was great including the guys directing parking. Boat was clean and well maintained and the guys on the boat did a great job.

Our tour guide Tim, was fabulous, however the kayak trip I booked said it was a 90 minute trip. We were only on the water for 30. We were back in the car in less than an hour so I definitely feel like its expensive for 30 minutes of paddling. I did see 3 dolphins (my kids missed them) and a great blue heron, so that was cool, but still not worth the 126.00 I paid for the 3 of us.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this company. Long story short our private sunset cruise was booked for a Friday from 6-8 PM. We had been watching the weather all week and noticed there was a high chance for rain/thunderstorms during the time of the cruise. I sent an email over 24 hours in advance (within the cancellation window) of our reservation asking if it was possible reschedule. Never heard back. We continued to try and reschedule but no one would communicate with us. Afterwards we asked about refunds and they have continued to ignore us. This company should do a better job about communicating with its customers. Thanks.

My partner and I had a great time out parasailing with Ty and Steve. The end of March is maybe a tad cold, but overall a great experience. The views are great over the sound. Equipment was on good repair. We got the photo package, which was nice but everyone on our ride offered to take pictures of each other, so it wouldnt have been necessary. Dont forget some cash for a tip.

These people are clueless. I called about renting a kayak, and the women who answered said she wasn’t sure if they rented kayaks because they primarily do tours. She said she would check and call me back. She called back and said they could rent us a kayak, so I told her we would be there at noon. When we arrived, there was no one there. We called again and we were told the man who handles the kayaks was out in a kayak, and would be back shortly. When he arrived he told us that he was too busy to rent us a kayak that day, although it appeared he had just been paddling around by himself. He had no interest in serving us as customers.

We had a great time watching our three kids get to experience para-sailing. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean and nice, and all three kids had a great time. Thanks Island Head!

Me and two other people went parasailing today. The actual parasailing was fun, HOWEVER…. DO NOT DO THE PICTURE PACKAGE. We paid $20 each person not realizing that we only has to buy one package. We only got one SD card, and only a few pictures. I should add that the PICTURES WERE ABSOLUTELY TRASH. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE PICTURES! I’m absolutely outraged!

Ive never had any issues or problems with Island Head that needed a long review like this. In fact the last time I booked via IslandHead for 3...we had to wait for an hour since the other folks were late from traffic...and we didnt mind that. I didnt bother giving any bad reviews since things like that happen. And the personnel who welcomes us the last time was very accommodating, smiling, and apologetic of being late and kept us abreast with our tour time.My experience today has been nothing but terrible. When we arrived, Victoria was grouchy straight from the getgo, seemed to be in a bad mood. Not even a hello, how are you not even a smile. Victoria tells us that I only booked for 3 and not 4 people. AND I said right...3 flyers and 1 observer(myself) since Ive done this a hundred times and I just wanted my guests to have a good time and for me as an observer on the boat to take their pictures. She claimed I was wrong and that its  my fault and that there is nothing she could do about it. She hurried us and asked us several times if we still wanted to go instead of trying to rectify the problem. She was busy on her phone texting instead of trying to find ways of making our experience with your company,  worth the while.I couldnt check my emails to verify if that was correct. Next time, I need to print them out. I may have clicked the wrong  reservation, or it may have been correct. Nevertheless, that is not my issue.My issue is with Victoria, the personnel who checked us in. She has no EMPATHY, no consideration, no regard for the convenience of your clientele. No smiles, no trying to fix the problem, unapologetic and just plain rude. All she wanted to do is finish her job and text on the phone.I do not think you would like someone at the front of your successful business, supposedly greeting guests.  But instead, you have VICTORIA  who again was VERY COLD, UNAPOLOGETIC and UNEMPATHETIC of our issue. She offered NO possible solutions to our problem, did not ask his superiors if theres anything else that can be done, (until Ty accidentally joined the conversation) nor did she have even the smallest remorse for what happened. Not even an Im  Sorry for the inconvenience.  But instead,, her answer to the problem was...you booked it wrong...its your fault. Yes it was. It was our fault to book it on a day that someone like Victoria is there to welcome the guests.All I wanted was to be there for my guests so I could take a picture of their flight/parasailing trip.I went back to the website and found that the greeters are supposed to ask if we were interested in the PICTURE/PHOTO package. We were not asked by VICTORIA of this availability but instead was hurrying us up and continued to be UNEMPATHETIC about our plea. If I knew there was an option for my guests to commemorate their parasailing adventure...like your Photo package, I would have just purchased  that and everything would have been fine. My guests could have done their parasailing and had their trip captured with the pictures from the Photo package. VICTORIA did NOT offer this amenity but instead...was busy on her cell phone texting instead.All I request is... is to find staff/people at the front who has our guests well-being in mind. Offer our locals or tourists some kindness and empathy...and at the least...a smile. If Victoria or anyone who has the same personality continues to work for your company, that would definitely be detrimental to your business.I usually dont send feedback like this--- but from one local business to another...I felt the need to help one business person to another.I hope that you can talk to Victoria and maybe...she can change and become a better person.

Omg this was such a great experience. My first time parasailing and I enjoyed every moment. Ty and Steve were wonderful guides. The whole experience lasted over an hour. I would highly recommend using this company

Horrible experience at the Hilton Head Jenkins Road location, I didnt even make it to the Kayaks. Thunder and lighting 2 hours before our scheduled appointment compelled me to call several times to confirm if it was still on. No one picked up. 2nd time I left a voice message without a call back. Went anyway. Upon driving to the lot that I was told to park in the day before, the marina parking attendant told me I couldnt park there and had to park in a tight 360 blocked-in pattern on a super small grass lot. I simply and respectfully said that Im not parking there, I dont want to block in the vehicle in front of me and I dont want to be blocked in either so I turned around. This was an issue considering the weather should my family want to leave early, were stuck being blocked in by cars ( No Key Collection ). I turned around and chose to park outside the marina entrance area in a public spot a bit further away. Upon walking back to the rental entrance was met by the same attendant and two men one of which came right up to me within inches from my face, In front of my family !!! So much for COVID considerations as well. After telling that individual to back off, I was told that I, and my family had to leave that private property by the 2nd individual, another man who claimed to be the marina owner. We then left. It started to rain with thunder and lightening not long after we left. Ill never go back

Saw dolphins, manatees and a million birds. Our SUP guided tour was really fun and interesting.

Booked a 90 minute guided kayak tour with Island Head for our family and we were very disappointed. Having done kayak tours like this before, we had expected an informative tour through channels around the island where we could see some nice scenery and hopefully some wildlife. Instead our “guide” gave a very brief talk about the tides, oyster beds and ecosystem of Hilton Head, then proceeded to spend the rest of the time lagging behind us and texting with someone on his phone, while our group aimlessly paddled in a large circle around the open water channel in front of the marina we’d departed from. Island Head might be good for other water sports, but our kayak tour was really lame.

We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours from them today! We had a marvelous time. The staff was fantastic, going over the finer details of how to operate a boat in Hilton Head Island Waters ... YES. It is different, going over thr boat operations and safety measures. All of which was done to ensure that we had a great time. We went into the mouth of the May River, down to Daufuskie Island, over toward Harbour Towne and then back again. We saw a ton of Dolphins, more than weve ever seen and had remarkable weather. Well definitely rent from these guys again. Great equipment, Great Staff and we had a great time!

Rented a pontoon boat from Island Head yesterday for a morning on the water with my wife, 2 kids, and a couple friends. We had a great experience through out. Check in was quick and seamless and Captain John gave us a great introduction to the boat. The boat was clean and comfortable and worked perfectly. Our four hours on the water went way too fast - we had so much fun - we explored the waters around Hilton Head and we saw manatee, dolphin, lots of birds, and tons of cool flowers and fauna. I highly recommend Island Head - they are awesome.

Tighe and Steve were absolutely fantastic. Music was killer and the whole trip was fun for everyone. Cant recommend these guys enough for anyones next parasailing adventure.

My husband and I took out nephew (19 yr) parasailing with this company. Both guys who took us were friendly and fun and the music they were blasting was great. I went as an observer due to shoulder surgery, but my husband and nephew went up and they went up first.... which was great for them because winds picked up and we had to turn the boat around and return, so the other people (2 dads and their 2 sons) didnt get to fly. We felt awful for them. It wasnt anyones fault since it is Mother Nature, but we felt so guilty they didnt get to go. I have all positive things to say except one... if this is a common occurrence, which I am sure it is, I think they should ask all the passengers whether they are staying on the island long or not and let those with time constraints go first, just in case. We live here and my nephew is here for the week, so we could have tried to go back up again later this week. What if those kids were only there one more day? One kid in particular looked so upset, it broke my heart. Had we known this could possibly happen that day, we would have offered one of the dads and their kid to go first. Having said that, the actual activity was great and my husband and nephew had a fantastic time.

My second time choosing their services. Had a great time very fun and safe experience on the boat and with staff.

Boyfriend and I did parasailing and it was enjoyable! Lots of dolphins in this area and it was nice to watch them. The website says this is 1.5 hours. But it was more like an hour. It was efficient and they got through a group of 10 within that hour but it would have been nice to not feel as rushed with a tour starting right after us and a couple was late. It was still a lot of fun though!

I would definitely do this again, it was fun, safe and exhilarating

We had so much fun parasailing!! The staff were great, no masks and they only made us wear like jackets when we were in the air. You arent actually in the air that long for how much you pay, but it was still fun!

We had the most amazing time parasailing. The staff made us feel so comfortable and brought us in the air gradually and back down so gradually. It was so peaceful being in the air. I went with my husband and two kids. My one son was 11 and scared to go, so as his mom I went twice (once with my husband and once with my 13 year old). Two people went at one time. My 13 year old loved it! I loved it so much I went twice. It was the best part of our vacation hands down. I will tell everyone what a great time we had.

We had a fantastic time. The crew made it fun with humor and jokes. The boat and rigging were all in fantastic shape and I felt very safe with my family. We saw an enormous sea turtle on our parachute ride which was a bonus!

A group of us rented a pontoon boat for 5 hours from them and had an absolutely great time. The staff was fantastic, and it was a very smooth checking and booking process. We were easily able to explore all over, going down to Daufuskie Island, over toward Harbour Town and checking out a sandbar. We even saw a great amount of dolphins!

Great team to work with for reservations and parasailing. Our boat crew were John and Taylor. Had a great time. Worth the money and great value if you are staying at the RV resort which we are. Will use them again when we come back.

Was a great trip . The young lady at check in forgot to give us sd cards for our pictures however that was handled properly after the trip and was refunded .The deck crew were friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing .Overall great experience that I would suggest to anyone who hasnt had the pleasure

We went kayaking with a group of 4 and a couple joined us. We had SO much fun with John as our tour guide :) No one felt rushed, we all felt very safe, and John provided our group with a few breaks for those who had a harder time keeping up! During our breaks John filled us with knowledge about Hilton head/ocean life 🥰 highly recommend!!

We had a Blast! Tye and Steve were really cool hosts which made the whole experience even better! Cant wait to go again

My friend and I did the paddle boarding tour and it was lovely! The instructor was very kind, professional, and friendly! It was a great tour, great weather, and a great experience!

Taylor and Ty were awesome! This was a first for all of our family to try and certainly was a highlight of the trip! You can’t beat the views you get above the water! Highly recommend!

We rode jetskis on Thursday with Island Head. We loved these guys so much we came back and went Parasailing on Friday! Parasailing was with Steve and Ty. You can feel comfortable and safe with these 2 in charge. What an adventure! We saw dolphins on our way out and dolphins from the air! Have a great time.

My family of 3 (44, 55 & 13) all had a great time with the crew!! We started with Parasailing and had such a great time, we also rented the 2hr Pontoon Boat. Jake & team we’re excellent! Will come back again.

Great crew!!! These guys are cool dudes that want their clients to just have a great time. Me and some friends from college heard about tour from our friend Brandon. If youre looking for some speed ask about their creek run. We were flying through this crazy race track style waterway. Overall a great experience!! The trip through the beautiful waterways is a must to get the everything that the low country has to offer. Definitely check these guys out!

NOT understanding with beginners. When we called we told them we had ZERO experience, we were told that was totally fine. Once we arrived we told them once again we had zero experience with driving boats. Yet again we were told that was totally fine. We filled out a form saying we had zero experience with driving boats before getting on the boat. Then we were taken off the boat shortly after getting on. The employee acted alarmed that we had no experience driving a boat. IF that weren’t enough, they informed us that we wouldn’t be getting a refund. We told them that was unacceptable. Then we were told they would see what they could do about getting some of the money back.. EXCUSE ME?! Unacceptable. In the end we were told we would be getting a refund and the employee then was very apologetic. If they could have gotten away with doing no refund they would have. Will NOT EVER be recommending this place to anyone.

Lovely time on the water. Everyone who wanted to “fly” did so and enjoyed themselves. No one felt rushed and everyone enjoyed the experience.

The parasailing was outstanding. We where all’s little nervous going up, but ended up being much more relaxing than expected. The views of Hilton Head where the best part.

Did the creek run on the waverunners. Was just doing a rental but the guide talked us into it. It was well worth it. We got to rip it up in the back creeks! The guide was super helpful and ever gave us a free drink coupon for the Black Marlin after our rental.

Best place to go parasailing! It was our first time and we felt so welcome and comfortable. Service is so nice and they understand beginners. Truly an experience we will never forget!

I went out of the paddle board tour. It was my first time and the staff was very helpful. We saw a group of dolphins off in the distance toward the end of the trip. Would like to try again at some point.

It was amazing. The two young men that did the boat and parachute where extremely nice and very kind to all of us. It was my first experience and they made it great.

Our experience with Island Head was wonderful. The boat was clean and beautiful, the parasailing equipment sturdy and new-looking, and the crew attitude relaxed, open, and engaging. My daughter was afraid to sail, encbut with encouragement decidedt go for it, which was the highlight of our trip, as she is not very adventurous. We are so thankful for our time on the water with Island Head! (And the young War Chief working the counter inside is one of the most lively and interesting conversationalists I have ever met! Ask him about Scotland!).

I was with the group of people who were taken off the boat after making it 100% clear to the staff that we had ZERO boat driving experience. It’s offensive and unacceptable how you attempt to make it seem as if we left the dock without supervision and permission from the staff. Saying we left without permission is 100% FALSE. The employees let us loose from the dock. I understand we did make a reservation and filled up a time slot. However, we did ask BEFORE reserving if it was ok that we did not have any boat driving experience. We were told a multiple of times “it’s totally fine”. So although you try to put the fault on others, recognize where YOUR mistake was.

Talk about first class... Island head is hands down the best place on the island for Watersports. Everything from the knowledgeable crew to the quality of all their equipment... Safety was always first and then followed with an incredible experience. The jet ski tour was incredible and the parasailing views were gorgeous. They can count on having my business everytime I visit with my family and friends. Go Island Head.

Parasailing was so so much fun! I was able to go with my mom at the same time, and it was out of this world to see Hilton Head from so high up. Everyone was super nice, would love to go back with some of my friends.

First time parasailing for 3 of the 4 of us, and John and Taylor coudont have been more amazing! Made our kids feel comfortable and safe going up, and took a lot of time with them. Everyone on our boat was thrilled with the trip!!! Great staff, and a perfect adventure with kids, or without.

We did the creek run on the Waverunners and it was awesome. It was an extra 20 bucks but it takes you out of the riding area. Real cool way to see the back waters of Hilton Head. Staff was really knowledgeable and had been on the island for a long time.

If you plan to bike to this place be sure you are familiar with the bike paths on the island. Youll easily miss a scheduled activity if you are not.

We went out today to parasail and it was so much fun! They made it super easy and enjoyable. They were super sweet. 10/10 would recomend! The only con is I wish we would’ve stayed in the air longer, but their website does specify how long you’ll be up there lol.

Locals need some fun, too!! And what better way than to go out on a boat and parasail! 8 of us San Miguels employees tried to head out on Monday but Mother Nature had other plans. We tried to wait out the storm but had to go to work after so our Captain Taylor suggested we try again Tuesday. Taylor and John took us out Tuesday and we had a blast! They told us what to do, made sure we were safe and then We were able to enjoy the ride. Seeing the island from above is pretty cool and just hanging out on the boat is fun, too. They play good music😎 Thanks again!!

I went parasailing and rented waverunners with my sister. We had so much fun. The views where incredible and the crew was very helpful. First time on a wave runner and Paxton was very helpful.

We have used this company multiple times for jet skis and parasailing. The first time we used them they took out are wedding party and it was a highlight of the week, well besides the wedding hehe. Have used them every visit since. Highly recommend.

Jet Skis where a blast! We did the run that took us behind some of the other islands in the creeks. The crew was really nice, mostly college guys who really enjoyed themselfs!

After extensive research and comparison...We speficially drove an hour and a half for our first time adventure jet ski at Island Head Watersports!No buyers remorse at all!Staurdays are a good time to go. Its their slow day! We were their only tour and couple so we got the perks that come with it. We got an early start! One-on-one tour around the creek line with beautiful homes and dolphines! Which shall I say was beautiful!First impression was incredible! The staff was super friendly, very attentive and laid back! Our guides were courteous always ensuring we were okay our whole ride!Needless to say I will totally go back and try out other first water time watersports....on Saturdays (lol)

Have been going down to HHI island for the last couple of years and the experiences with Island Head Watersports sticks out the most. Great times with great people.
