Totally worth it! Captain Kent was amazing. He kept us engaged the whole time and we caught sharks! Totally book with him if you’re looking for a genuine guy who really wants you to catch fish. So so so much fun. HIGHLY Recommend :)

Captain Bradshaw was professional and really tried to make the trip a success but it wasnt what I expected. We caught a monster king fish 10 minutes into the trip and couldnt keep it because they didnt have a place to put it on the boat. We ended up throwing it back after we gaffed it and killed it. We paid for a half day and we caught 4 fish but it was really disappointing killing such a monster king and not being able to keep it

Went fishing with Capt. Bradshaw this morning and caught a bunch of fish inshore. Reds, Flounder, and Trout. I continue to be impressed with Capt. Kent and now Capt. Bradshaw with Megabite Fishing Charters. Both great guys and very knowledgeable.

Kent did a great job taking four of us out this afternoon. Weather and wind worked against us all day but he made the best out of it for us all. We will use him on our next trip for sure!

Captain Kent knows these waters. My grandson and I had a great time catching many sharks of considerable size. Loved the stories, he loves to keep you entertained.

Had an awesome time on a charter with Captain Bradshaw! He made sure the day was fun and exciting even though we were all complete newbies at fishing, and we got to bring home something for dinner to boot. We will be chartering them again!

Captain Kent, and Captain Bradshaw were both awesome. We went out for a half day and had such an awesome trip we decided to go again the following day. We got so many sharks we lost count of which was a80-90 lb black tip. We also caught a huge jack. Captains were both extremely knowledgeable, fun, and great conversation. If you want to catch a ton of fish these are your guys.

Caught a 30-40 pound king fish ! They cleaned the fish and it was a fantastic trip . A big thanks to Kent and captain Bradshaw !

Captain Bradshaw took us out on Saturday 7/20/19. We booked this last minute and so glad we did. Very impressed with the knowledge of fishing and where to take us on the island. We caught several sharks within a few hours time. Highly recommend! 🎣🦈

I absolutely LOVED today’s fishing experience!! We caught ALOT of fish and even took 3 home to eat. He was very experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. Our first two casts out we had fish immediately!! It was nothing but a good time and WORTH my money !! Gnarly experience!! 🤙🏼🐟🐠

Captain Kent of the Megabite was not only knowledgeable about the area and where to fish but priced great for our 2 person charter. 8 sharks in 3 hours plus a pelican show! A great memory for the books! Thank you!

To begin, Ive never gone shark fishing before this trip, I havent even seen a shark up close aside from a zoo. I had high expectations for this trip, and every single one was met. Kent was a spectacular captain, answering each and every question I had (which was a lot), and we caught a total of 5 black tip sharks, which to me is pretty great! He is a wonderful guide, fisherman, and captain, and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a fun-filled charter. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Had a great time with my wife for our honeymoon under the guided experience of captain Kent. Caught 4 hammer heads when everyone else was coming up empty handed. Forget dolphin tours they are a waist of money. Captain Kent knows where they are and that made my wife very happy. Had a very good time and will come back to Mega Bite Fishing Charters the next time I am in town. Thanks Captain Kent!

Captain Herb was the best! He was well experienced and had our safety in mind at all times. Our family of five caught 12 sharks within 3 hours! We will definitely book another fishing charter with Megabite!!!

We had an awesome day with Captain Kent! You know your in good hands when we catch so much baitfish we drop off extra bucket to another boat that missed the school of fish we were after. Everyone on the boat had a great time and everyone caught something, we caught some big boys (over an 8 foot, 200 lb shark!). We traded stories and he gave us a few local spots to check out for crabbing and surfing. Lo and behold I ran into him the next day surfing at the spot, a true waterman. Kent was very friendly and professional, would highly recommend to anyone.

The fishing was unbelievable, the hospitality was top of the line, and most importantly this was one of the greatest shark fishing excursions I have participated in. There are many reasons I will be returning to Megabite for future shark fishing excursions including the variety of sharks, the hospitality, and the pricing, but the number one reason I will return to Megabite fishing is the personality of Capital Kent Bird. From the time you step foot on the boat to the time you leave, Captain Kent treats his patrons as if they have been best friends since childhood. Most captains assume the customers come for vacation once then never come back. This makes other excursions lack that personal touch that Megabites offers. I highly recommend this charter for these reasons.

This was a well prepared and professional fishing charter. Megabite had everything lined up and ready to go. Captain Kent has great equipment, from the fishing reels to the boat, top notch. He was personal and knowledgabe about the area. We will go with him again.

One fish two fish, red fish red fish. Bradshaw hooked us on 5 red fish and a shark that day. He was zoned in on catching a jack but even though the school of them dove all over the lure, those fish just werent biting. Definetly will go again.

Terrible experience. Not sure if he was having an off day but he didnt have much personality and had a tone of arrogance - didnt make you feel like he really appreciated your business. He had a mate with him, a 13 year old mate. The kid seemed to be a great kid and was knowlegable but he was 13 (I am sure there are some child labor laws against this). The captain was relatively disengaged the majority of the time, the kid did most of the work. The captain stayed on the phone quite a bit during the trip at times even complaining about how busy his business is. We had to ask to actually get them to get the fish in the boat so we could take pictures. I have been on a few charters and have never had to ask to get pictures of the fish - its what they do. The mate didnt put a rod in the holder well enough and it was accidentally knocked into the water. The captains personality surely didnt get any better after that. I get the guy was pissed cause he lost equipment, but throwing temper tantrums and accusing your customer of just dropping a rod the water is absurd. Nothing bad against the kid, but dude get some reasonable aged help and maybe rods wouldnt end up in the water. Too many options in the area to chance it with this outfit and I am sure the others are much more attentive and professional.

Great experience for my two sons, three grandsons, and me. Caught lots of sharks and enjoyed the day. We would definitely go back. Even hooked a king mackeral.

My family had a wonderful time and Capt. was amazing! What a great experience even though the fish were being stubborn we still had the best time and will come back every year!

We purchased this trip as a getaway and we had a wonderful time. Captn Kent and his mate Chris were top notch on going to where the fish were. We caught a Tarpon that weighed at least 100lbs. It took my husband quite awhile to get it to the boat but it was worth it to see that smile on his face. Both Captn Kent and his mate were very knowledgeable and courteous the whole trip. We also reeled in several large sharks and a few jacks. This trip was worth every penny we spent and we will definitely be back next year.

This was not at all a professional fishing trip. The captain of the boat was unfriendly, unprepared, and disengaged in the trip. He did not have a net to get any of the fish that were caught into the boat. My son caught a 30 lb red and they wanted pictures with the fish but couldnt get it into the boat because there was no net. The captain threw temper tantrums when the lines would get tangeled and cussed excessively about how this wasnt his day. Thankfully my three guys are fisherman because of they were novices or beginners, they would have wasted their money. Lastly, he failed to let us know that fishing this time of year isnt really that great. I bought this trip as a fathers day gift for my husband and son to enjoy some time together. The boat broke down only after being on the water for a short while and that set the tone for the rest of the day with the captain. We booked a 3/4 day trip and they only ended up fishing for less than 1/2 the day. He did end up only charging for 1/2 the day but if I had been there I would have paid him for the use of his equipment only. He seriously Sat in the back of the boat and did as little as possible. Hopefully he was having a very bad day and this is not his usual

Had an amazing experience, captain is very educated and has a great personality!!! We caught tons of fish and got to keep some!

I have taken my family fishing with Captain Kent for many years each summer. Some trips we have caught big redfish, other trips have included spanish mackerel and sharks. But even if we have a trip where we catch few or small fish, my family always enjoy the trip. Kent is a native of Hilton Head and knows the waterways as well as anyone on the island. We have learned so much from Kent about the places we have visited on the water and about the wildlife we see around us. From what I have heard and seen from so many others in Hilton Head, Kent is one of the most respected and liked captains and people on the island. Looking forward to next summers trip.
