Great experience with these guys, delivery and pick up was a cinch and went smoothly. Reasonable prices. The bikes are pretty worn, a couple more than others, and worked fine for our few easy spins to the beach and back. However, these are basic beach cruisers not in tip-top maintenance shape. A few creaks and could use some lube on the chain.

Bikes were delivered promptly and in good condition. Rental with the company is easy. I recommend them!

Weve been renting from LowSea for several years and have always been satisfied. We had been riding on the beach and found that one of the bikes had a faulty chain. We had no phone but was able to call using the Beach Patrols phone. I had to leave a VM and of course, LowSea had no way to recontact us.We went back to our rental property because we did not feel comfortable riding with the iffy chain. Much to our surprise and pleasure, LowSea had dropped off a new bike 🙂This was a great example of awesome customer service! Thank you, LowSea.See you next time!

LowSea were exceptional in their delivery and service. Our bikes were ready and waiting upon our arrival to Shipyard. Beach cruisers take a beating in the harsh weather and my son’s bike had a saddle that didn’t adjust due to quick release being seized. A quick call, which they answer promptly, got a friendly response, an apology, and a replacement bike in the same day. We also found the Burley cargo trailer to be our best accessory next to the free child seat for our 3 year old daughter. We loved the bikes so much we never drove anywhere for our visit. We look forward to seeing you next year!

Rented a bob stroller for a week because ours wouldn’t fit in the car. They dropped it off at the beach club next to our resort and that’s where I left it when our vacation was over. Couldn’t have been easier, was a great price and the stroller was perfect and comfy for our baby. Highly recommend!

Great bike service! I ordered by phone and the girl I talked to, Shelby, was very nice and helpful. Their prices do fluctuate based on the season so be careful if you order in the winter and then try again in the summer (high demand). Best bikes and people on the island!

I chose this vendor to rent bikes from because they were the cheapest option available ($30 for 3 days) and all the services seemed pretty similar to me.I rented bikes from Saturday - Tuesday. They were supposed to arrive between 4pm - 7pm on Saturday and be tied up outside the location I was staying. I checked Saturday night and did not find the bikes in the rack directly outside my unit. It was dark so I decided to check again in the morning. We wanted to get out on the bikes first thing in the morning but instead we spent the first hour of the day walking around to each and every bike rack in the development. No bikes with my name were found and we received no additional instruction on where to find them. They never confirmed drop off through a call, a text or email so I was at a loss.In the meantime, a few girls went to the bike rack and immediately found their bikes that they rented from another company.So next, I tried to call their office. I called 4 times and no answer. The message said to email them so I did that. No answer. We decided to just go to the location and try to talk to someone there. Luckily we had a bike rack for my car, and the gentlemen who greeted us at their garage was nice and helped get us the bikes within a few minutes. Although, he did seem confused as to why we were there and had no information about our order.The bikes were in fine condition and for the price, the value was good. However, the lack of communication and organization was very frustrating. I wish there was some kind of confirmation about the drop off.By the time we got back from the location with our bikes, the girls that used the other company were already coming back from activities. It made me wish I spent the extra $5 per bike to go with a company that was more organized.

Great experience! Myself and 3 of my siblings all rented bikes/baby equipment for our families. The process was easy and everything was there and ready when we arrived. Definitely recommend renting the Bob stroller for beach trips--it was a life saver!

Renting baby gear from Low Sea was extremely convenient and worth the very reasonable rental price. They dropped off my items, and everything was clean and in great shape. We rented a double Bob stroller, and it looked brand new. It made toting my little ones around Hilton Head so much easier. We also rented a high chair, booster seat, pack n play, and bike with a trailer. I highly recommend this for any parent who is tired of schlepping the baby stuff on vacation. Treat yo’self!

Visited July 2021- my sister got sunburned the first day at the beach. We called the next morning to rent two chairs and an umbrella for her. They had it available and let us come pick it up when we finished our errands. We had it for two days and just dropped it off at their main building at the end of the second day. Very easy. $70 for two days, two reclining chairs and umbrella

Bikes arrived early as requested. However, we never received notification that they arrived. Had we not seen them being delivered we wouldnt have known. Bikes were in good condition. We rode over 25 miles with them. Also, rented a trailer for daughter. It was also in good shape and seemed to be a nice ride.

Have used LowSea for several years now for their Beach Chair & Umbrella package. Saves having to travel with chairs & umbrellas. Reasonable cost and quality product. Will use them again on our next vacation to HHI.

Ordered online, the equipment was in good shape when they arrived for the most part. The problem was that for a 4-day rental, starting on Monday, the bikes were to arrive until 4pm with a pickup on Thursday @ 10am. Ive had other bike rentals where they arrive before noon on the first day of rental. The bikes didnt arrive until 5:15pm AND they were locked together with no combination given, so we could not use them at all that day (the business did not answer the phone when I called). I received an email late that night that they would Resend the combination code. It was never sent/received in the first place. So we got to use the bikes for 3 days, not 4, especially as they were picked up onThursday morning before the 10am schedule. The toddler bike didnt come with training wheels as requested, so we had to re-request those. They did come out promptly on Tuesday morning to add those. The smaller bike helmets were not in good shape, but adequate. Biggest issue is really paying for days you dont get.

Great company! I made all the arrangements via their website. The bikes arrived in our driveway before the expected time with locks and baskets. I was emailed a lock combination code as the bikes arrived nicely locked up. At the end of the rental, I put the bikes back out in our driveway, locked them up and they were picked up by the appointed/scheduled time. Bikes were in good shape and seats were easily adjusted without having to use hand tools. Thanks!

Best place in HIlton Head to rent bikes! We have rented bikes from LowSea four times this past year. The price is so reasonable -- $25 for a full week, and that includes delivery to and pick-up from the place you are staying. The bikes are in great condition, and its easy to reserve them online. No need to check out other bike rental places!

We rented 2 bikes. They were delivered (and picked up ) right to our door, very convenient, we didn’t need to be present . Ordered everything on line. Great service and prices, very pleased, will definitely use again when visiting.

Bikes were in short supply on the week we were heading to HHI. LowSea was the only provider who had bikes starting on Saturday. The bikes were at our place when we got there and we really loved the trails and beach riding. Customer service was top notch. Highly recommend!

Worst bike rental experience in years on Hilton Head. We have rented from many other bike companies and never had as bad of experience as LowSea. Bikes were delivered a day late, it took another 24 hours to get the combination to unlock them. One bike had a flat tire and another bike had the pedal fall off. After our 4th call to them with a problem I asked to speak with a manager - needless to say I never received a call from a manager. I would steer clear of these guys and use another company!

I reserved bikes for my entire family for a week from LowSea. They were parked and waiting for us at our rental home when we arrived, and we loved using them all week! The bike seats were comfortable and the baskets were the best - so helpful to carry things around the area as we biked. Our rental company gave us a 10% discount (Coastal Home & Villa), and we also found the best prices at LowSea, so great deal plus great product - were sold! We loved the trails on Hilton Head and biking was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!

I rented two chairs, an umbrella, and a beach cart from LowSea during my recent trip to Hilton Head. Delivery was just as promised: the items were securely locked and waiting for us outside our condo upon our arrival. The umbrella and chairs were great quality. The umbrella was cloth and large enough to provide more than sufficient shade for me during the heat of the day on the beach. The chairs were super comfortable and had pockets in the back that we used to store books, towels and our shoes. We ended up not needing the beach cart since the other items were easy to carry without it, but it seemed to be of good quality as well. We would definitely rent from LowSeas again!

I have rented bikes my last 2 vacations at Hilton Head and wouldnt use anyone else. Their bikes and equipment are in great shape and their customer service is unbeatable!

Very good service!! Setup my reservation online and made an error with my dates. I called and they corrected the dates no problem. Also, had a chain break on one of our bikes and had a replacement delivered immediately. Good prices, great clean (non rusty) bikes, will definitely use LowSea Bike next time!!

Combination(s) to the locks were not provided. No response to phone calls (if you need help immediately - ha!), no reply to emails. There is no after hours help. Useless rental if I cant unlock the bikes. Do not recommend.

LowSea Bike, Beach and Baby Rental was great to work with. Our bikes, baskets and child trailer were there at the house waiting for us. We had a problem with our child trailer which LowSea took care of within a couple hours. The bikes were good quality; we used them daily as we traveled all over Hilton Head. I would highly recommend LowSea and will use them in the future!

Service level was outstanding. Bikes delivered and picked up from our home. Nothing to do on our end except submit the online order. We did have one small issue with the seat of our alley cat, we called and a new one was switched out in about an hour! Our friends accidentally ordered the wrong type of bikes and they also came to switch them out same day (no additional charge). Highly recommend!!

Rented bikes last week from here. Pros: Bikes were in great shape and my family had a good time riding them. Cons: My bikes were delivered to the wrong location. Once I figured that out, I walked to the new location and was unable to locate bikes because none of them had names on them. I found what I believed to be the bikes, but had no code to unlock them until the next day. I reached out to the company to order one more bike and to also request a credit for the inconvenience and lost day. I was told it was a possibility, but never heard back. I would recommend if they made locating bikes a little easier. The past 3 years we have ordered from other companies and there is always paperwork in the baskets and a code. It may not sound like a huge deal because we only lost a day, but it was one of two days that my son and his family were there, and one of our favorite past times is to ride bikes around the island. We were sad to miss out on doing that with them.

Rented bikes for our vacation from this company because they were half the price than other rental companies in the area. All bikes we had to lubricate because of rusted old chains that were difficult to ride. Kids bike, chain came off multiple times. Called the office multiple times and was told they had replaced the kids bike, but same bike, same chain came off again on our next family ride. Extremely frustrating for us, for the kids. You get what you pay for. Dont make our mistake, pay regular price, get better bikes and better service. Of course the owners finally replaced the kids bike the last day of vacation and made promises of refunds. Blah. Doesnt change the issues and lack of competence.

Terrible customer experience. Unprofessional and unreliable. Seemed very uninterested in fixing problems more interested in blaming me for problems they caused. Chains loose on bikes. Late delivery. When they finally were delivered the bikes were filthy and covered in sand. Bikes locked with no combination provided to me. If you have a small child that will ride in a seat behind you DO NOT go with them. The seat caused the babys head to bounce and left marks on their head. Do not recommend.

We had a great experience renting bicycles. The bikes were in excellent shape, were delivered to the house on time, much less expensive than other rental companies, and communication with their company was simple. Would definitely rent again!

I do not recommend this company. I submitted my rental online and received a confirmation via email right away. The confirmation stated that someone would reach out with the contact information provided to confirm the rental drop off/pick up details. No one ever contacted me. We kept waiting and looking for our bikes but they never arrived. I called LowSea the evening of our stated drop off date. The office was closed so I left a message. The next morning I get a phone call from the company and they blamed me for putting in an incorrect email address and therefore they were unable to contact me. Funny how I got all of their confirmation emails, but they cant seem to get me the information about drop off. My main frustration is when the company called me back they instantly started blaming me and telling me that they couldnt contact me and that it was my fault. They took no ownership of the issue and didnt care. Dont use this company-- bike rental places are a dime a dozen at Hilton Head. Youre sure to find someone better than LowSea!

This place was fantastic! We rented a baby crib, that was already set up int the house when we arrived. I had additionally ordered three bikes to be dropped off; however I had rented for the wrong week. I called, left a voicemail and the bikes were dropped within an hour. Highly recommend, they were great communicators and have quality bikes and cribs.

Pros: Prices were reasonable, communication was good, and we were able to get quick delivery a few hours before expected!Cons: Two of our five bikes were not in great shape. One had a chain that kept skipping so my daughter didn’t feel safe on it, and one (children’s bike) was rusty and made creaking noises the entire time. I emailed about the chain skipping and was told it would be replaced that day. However, the bike did not get replaced (it had a rip in the seat that was repaired, so it was easy to tell it was the same).

I botched my dates on half of our items and didn’t realize it until after the first half way delivered. They called me back right away and had rentals at my door later that day. Super easy to get ahold of and we had a great time with the jogging stroller and bikes we rented.

Very smooth experience renting a bunch of bikes and a running stroller. We called and asked to switch a 26 bike to a 24 bike on the second day and they came and did it while we were out with no issues. On the fourth day one of the bikes got a flat tire and we called again and they came out and got it taken care of. Will use them again next time we are in HH.

If I could give 0 stars I would.1. They delivered bikes 4 hours later than estimated.2. They gave us 2 bikes with chain problems that weren’t ridable. My dad had to fix one of them because they weren’t answering.3. When they did deliver bikes they were locked and we had no combination.4.when we went to the location the manager stated he canceled the order because our voicemail made no sense and we had a tone.They didn’t try to fix the mistakes. They never took the time to even call us to let us know that they had canceled the order. We got an automatic message saying we got canceled after we left the facility. Please do not have your vacation ruined by this company. They came and took the bikes this morning without a single message or call. They were supposed to come get the broke bikes and replace them but they left us high and dry. We have gone with another business and they delivered within the hour.

They were amazing! They sanitized our bikes during covid 19. We had a flat while riding on the beach and we called them and they met us with a replacement in 20 minutes!

Very rude employees. One of the company’s gray trucks stopped in front of me on Arrow Road and started a three point turn backup into the business parking lot. In the process, he started backing right into my car, so I honked to let him know I was there. He took the time to flip me the bird and wave it around while he blocked all the traffic on Arrow. As an islander and the owner of a business on Arrow, I was floored. It was rude, ugly, childish, awful and totally unnecessary. There are a million other great places to rent a bike on the island. Steer clear of this one.

We rent items from LowSea Rentals several times a year to keep from having to pack extra stuff when we head to the beach. The service is always OUTSTANDING!! Each time, we have placed our order online and the items are waiting for us when we arrive. The bikes are always in great shape. The baby items we get through LowSea Rentals (crib, highchair, stroller) have always been in impeccable shape. The crib was so clean that I didnt feel I needed to even wipe it down and was set up and waiting for us when we arrived. Its evident that they take pride in what they do by the level of service and cleanliness of each item they rent. We wont rent from anyone else! LowSea is absolutely the best on the Island!

Went to a few places to rent a bike trailer for our 10 month old. Every other place had old rusty ones with questionable straps. Found this place and they gave us a new one and found a jumper for him as well! Best place to rent baby gear and bikes in the area. They made our vacation with our little guy so much easier.

Rented a BOB jogging stroller, crib and high chair from LowSea. They delivered to our timeshare before our arrival. The items were in immaculate condition. The stroller was a new model, the high chair was clean and in good working order and the crib was sturdy and clean. We used the stroller a lot on the beach. It does great on the sand. Well worth the money!

Horrible experience. Unprofessional. Find somewhere else. I have been renting from here for years, and will never rent from them again. I ordered beach gear for the week. Delivery never came on the provided window- I called, and called, and called. The voicemail box was full. After I finally got through to someone, I was told the delivery was on the way. It never showed up. I called back and was told it was actually scheduled for the wrong day, but would be delivered ASAP. When the delivery came, the order was wrong. When it was corrected the next day, the code was never given to unlock it, so someone had to come back to do that. I was told I would be refunded (which would have been the end of it), but I was incorrectly charged and for weeks now no one has corrected it. I leave voicemails and emails that go unanswered for weeks at a time.

Baby gear is always an amazing success when renting through LowSea rentals, my niece and nephew sleep comfortable in their pack n plays and full size cribs and of course LOVE the beach toys. Their bikes are in wonderful condition and are always a joy to ride on the beach or on the trails of Hilton Head
