I Like this place. I usually do dip and if my nail chips which is rare they are happy to fix it within 10 days! Wish they had cool designs but otherwise its a nice and clean place.

Staff is so-so, but the place is very clean. My last 2 pedicures with Loi were complete trash. He did not scrape my feet at all, just took what looked like a nail file to them for about 2 seconds each foot. Also I get no chip and he’s never taken the time to soak the polish off, just sand it, which destroyed my nails. My toe nails became so thin and brittle to the point where they broke. It felt very rushed. The girls at the front also gave me attitude when I said I wanted no chip. She told me I had to book that way online, yet there is NO option to book a no chip with Loi. I’d recommend this place if someone needed something quick but it’s definitely not for long term.

Person who did my Nails did not perform proper manicure and pedicure before doing nails. He did not even trim my nails to same size on both hands. Did not remove cuticles on my nail. Nail art was acceptable. But overall it was not great experience.

Ive been getting my nails done here for a couple years now and Ive always appreciated the service here. Some staff even take the time to learn your name and the COVID precautions are great. In recent weeks of coming here I havent really experienced great service as far as how I want my nails done. Loi did my nails the last time I was here because the person I wanted was booked. His service felt very rushed as did previous times. He left glue all around my fingers by the time he was done and didnt remove it so I had to ask someone else. He was very rude as well. Furthermore, my nails just werent done the way I wanted them, even with a photo for reference. I just feel that a technician shouldnt suggest or tell me how they want my nails to be if I am paying them good money for it. I usually dont make a big fuss about it because I understand how hard it is to deal with people everyday. I just think more attention and patience should be given to any customer when a customer wants their nails done a specific way, and Loi did not have it. On the other hand, the ladies are very friendly and make you feel at home while youre there.

This was my first visit to Pro Nails, compliments of my thoughtful sister-in-law. I had the spa pedicure with the hot oil massage and there’s no way I can ever go back. Lorene was wonderful! I can’t wait to come back and try the Signature or Hot Stone Pedicure. I also had a no chip manicure but with little to no massage, hand scrub or anything special. Go for a pedicure!

I got a pedi service and I loved it. Such a great environment staff is super friendly and they make sure they get the job done! I showed a picture of what I wanted and we improvised and got exactly what I asked for and I loved it!! They took their time on the massages and scrubs and overall the experience was nice. I came here pretty excited because of the reviews! Im very devastated and strongly dissatisfied with this place. Its appointment only which is fine, but if you still want your time here to be rushed, this is the place to be. What a shame, never again.

I always make an appointment with the same person (Steven) he always does a great job on my nails and I always have a good experience going here. Also the prices are probably the best in the area especially for the great job everyone here puts into their work.

I love going to ProNails. My nails always look wonderful when I leave. The staff is so friendly. When I walk in for my appointment, they are always ready for me. The place itself is gorgeous.

Went to another place a few weeks ago to get my nails done and it wasnt good. I had my nails filled at Pro nails where I usually get my nails done and Loi did a beautiful job. I shouldve taken that 1:30 appointment pro had a free weeks ago and left work early.

I get dip nails. They always crack when I get them done here. One time I called them to get one fixed and the guy laughed at me. He said they were busy until next week. Good luck until then he said. I went back again and ended up with a cracked nail within a day. I called and they said they had time for me in 4 days to get one nail fixed. Well, my nail actually broke off where the dip cracked. I ended up going to another salon and they took care of me. There is no consistency with getting your nails done there. This is for the location next to menards. You do not make time to squeeze in a nail repair.

Pro Nails is the best! I’ve been going here for about 2 years and my mom and I recently got the pedicure of the month and we were obsessed! The pedi was over an hour and it was so nice and relaxing. They did such a good job. They have great services and Jenny and Mari are the best. Clean place, very nice staff, and wonderful work. I’m always going to come back here! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend! Good prices, too.

Really nice place! We were able to make an appointment for 3 people the day before. They do not take walk ins. All the tools and scrubs they used were all individually wrapped/unopened and I felt safe!

The customer service was TERRIBLE. They were VERY VERY RUDE. They had an excuse for not giving me lotion to use. They were very short with me. They dont even have birthday specials, like a simple a simple color change or design or nothing. They are not worth the money or time.

Love this place! Had my nails done here many times for prom and homecoming etc and always had a great experience. The front desk staff are always very welcoming even if it’s an hour before closing. Me and my mom come to get our eyebrows waxed and they always make room for us even if it’s busy. This place really takes care of you! Highly recommend.

Love this place! Sam at the front desk always greets me by name and Lorena does an excellent job. There are tons of colors to choose from and the online booking is very convenient but you do need to book in advance - especially on weekends - if you care who your tech is.

After the salon reopened from the pandemic I decided to get a pedicure for myself and ONLY polish for my 5 year old daughter. After receiving the best service from Mari, the “gentleman” with glasses at the front desk assisted with me with paying. My total came out to $58. After going through my bill, he tells me that my 5 year old child getting her hands and toes painted is $20. After explaining to him that I, a regular customer for over 2 years, only paid $10 for my 5 year old to have her hands and toes polished, he became rude and claimed there was an email sent out about price change. Funny thing is, there was no email sent to me about a price change. I refused to pay until he brought my total to what it was supposed to be. I will never return to the salon. I don’t recommend anyone to this money hungry business, but if you have to, see Mari.

Would honestly give it 0 stars if I could. Absolutely terrible service. Made an appointment days in advance for three pedicures specifically so all could be helped and we could be in and out. They started on one and then the next. Left one sitting for 35 minutes in water before even starting and we had to demand someone to come do her service. Completely unacceptable. Even with a short staff or busy days if you can’t even keep your guests informed or stay on top and service appointments first, your business has the wrong priorities. To then be drying our feet to have the ‘manager’ come over to us and argue with us. Being EXTREMELY rude and beyond unprofessional. If you want horrible service, your appointment to not be followed and to be yelled at by the manager- that should be the only reasons to ever come to this nail salon.

OMG if you’re considering this place to get your nails done, do it. I’m getting married tomorrow so I made an appointment for yesterday a few weeks ago and they took me back right away and were very cautious and safe during these covid times. Irene was the best tech I’ve ever had. I’m from Roselle and I will only be coming here when I need my nails done. I’m very picky and have had so many bad experiences elsewhere and was beyond impressed by the quality and personable staff. ♥️

I’ve gone to pro nails back and forth between the one on 41 and off grand for years. The one off 41 got new management at some point and a lot of their good nail techs left. After the one on grand got remolded they became inconsistent. Beautiful store front but good service is very inconsistent. I recently got a no chip manicure it started chipping after a week so I called and asked if they could redo the no chip manicure since they guarantee no chip for 2 weeks (at least that’s what every nail tech that’s ever worked on my nails told me). The man I spoke to over the phone said they only guarantee one week now. LOL so unprofessional considering how great/professional the other nail techs are in there. Very disappointing. I will be looking for a new nail place that actually stays consistent with their policies.

Horrible! They were rude and showed zero customer service to fix the issue. My nails were uneven, sloppy the acrylic was lumpy and as I voiced suggestions/concerns I was ignored. They cater to certain types of customers and not “others”.

Got a fill Tuesday morning Saturday nails were lifting went back to get them fixed. I was then informed that I needed to get a new set and needed to pay 55 when I just paid 45 on Tuesday should have never went there. Nails off will find a different nail shop.

Decent, little too pricey

Lynn always does an amazing job, I give this place 5 stars because of Lynn and Amy. The only thing I was not a fan of was the owner tried to change my appointment that I already had with Lynn with Amy (who did my Pedicure) because he wanted to keep the nail tech consistent with the customer. I agreed but then remembered how awesome Lynn is so I requested to keep her instead. This made me feel a bit irritated. Other then this I enjoyed the finishing product as always.

I was supposed to get regular acrylics nails and pay $27.00 dollars but there was a totally missed communication between the lady that greet me and the lady who did my nails and she ended up doing something I didn’t ask for it 🙄Bottom line I ended up paying more than I was expecting ☹️ Like 30 dollars more. The job was good!! But honestly I feel so disappointed ☹️

My daughter and I are regulars. We love coming to our regular mani pedi appointments ❤️❤️

I like that they dont take walk-ins so when you arrive for your appointment youre seen almost immediately. The shop is very clean, and everyone is very friendly.

Very clean great pedacure

I’m from new jersey and i needed my nails done and i saw good reviews so i decided to try. for $55 i got white and this reddish splattered color, my white are very clumpy and uneven, and she filed my nails after they were done and are now very sharp. my nails are thin and feel like they’re about to break. definitely won’t be coming back on my next trip was very disappointed.

Got my nails done Friday and since the color was already getting dirty and changing colors I contacted the salon.... they booked me in very quick and also fixed my nails and explained the reason. They made sure I was “happy” definitely going back! 🤗

I look forward to my appointment every two weeks. Such a pleasant atmosphere! They welcome their clientele by name as soon as you walk in the door. Their professionalism and talent - the best in the area. I especially like the hand massage at the finish!! 😊👌Thanks Tim !!

Ive been going to Pro Nails for nearly 16 years. The staff, service and prices are great! The only problem with their success is that this long time loyal customer has difficulty getting appointments anymore. I dont have the flexibility to make appointments a week in advance, or at least I prefer not to. However, they provide a good service.

I called before I got there, about an hour and fifteen minutes before closing, and they said it was fine. But then when I got there they acted like I was super inconvenient for them to do my nails. The entire time Sara (the nail tech) and the receptionist kept mouthing things to each other right in front of me. My thing is, if my service was going to take too long why say it’s okay to come in. I’d have much rather gotten “we need more than an hour for that would you like to make an appointment?” Than to feel like I was in their way. I won’t be going back because she didn’t even do my nails that well and it was way over priced (I was charged for a dip and take off. When they just put dip on top of my already dipped nails, plus an up charge for filing into coffin shape when they’re not even coffin)

Their services are great and they respect their customer. The employees are very nice .Definitely recommended

I LOVE Pro Nails. This place is my escape. Everyone is always happy and friendly. It’s extremely clean here. If you are looking for a day of pampering or a quick Mani/Pedi or just a chip fix you can count on them. They are always busy, so do not try to walk in. Appointment only please. They do their best fitting in emergencies though. Go ahead and give them a shot. You WILL NOT be sorry.

I love the atmosphere everytime I come into the shop. Everyone is happy to be there and happy to help. My favorite part of Pro nail is the receptionist. She not only does her job well she knows her customer and what they want. She greets everyone but name. My favorite nail tech is Lynn.

**EDIT** 9/30 - Every nail has the same line indents from the dip powder manicure. This is very upsetting to me as my nails were healthy and well taken care of before. This was my first manicure in a while and I usually only did my nails myself. To have this done to my nails after simply wanting to treat myself makes me not want to come here again despite the friendly environment. If I had received acrylics I would be a bit more forgiving but this was a simple dip powder on my natural nails. Everyone that I have known receiving dip powder could not understand why I have these ridges from the manicure as they have never received them. I had high hopes for this place given the reviews and if it had been a simple mistake I would be willing to try them again (were all human) but this simple dip powder manicure ruined the state of my healthy nails.**ORIGINAL (3 Stars): I received the dip powder and it has lasted a long time! The young woman at the counter was very welcoming and warm, great customer service! My only complaint is that while I was getting my dip powder manicure, my manicurist was literally putting my fingers into the jar which is a sanitary issue. They are supposed to apply the powder with a clean brush. And while I had the dip powder fall off (2 weeks later mind, no complaints there) I noticed that my nail has a dent in it, a noticeable divide between the new nail growth and what was put into the powder. I wonder if it had to do with the drill or maybe it was buffed too much? Im hoping that the rest of my nails dont have indents in them. The dip powder is supposed to be better for your nails, so I dont completely understand why the buffing and drill are necessary, especially if it results in dents in the nails. Overall though my experience here was good, I just had an issue with how the dip powder was applied (and hope its fixed for future customers) and being careful with the drill/buffing. :)

I have used many of the Gurnee area nail salons over the last few years. I think I have finally found my nail salon home! The front desk attendees are super warm, friendly and very welcoming. For pedicures, you actually see them put the bowl cling and fill the water. They open up sterilized tools right in front of you so you know everything is clean and only used on you. I also love that they are now an appointment only salon. When salons take walk-ins and appointments, it means everything takes longer. Especially the waiting part. My nails look awesome as well. :) happy customer!

Just had the BEST pedicure of my life! Pro Nails is under new management. Ive loved it before but now they have more options. For a little more money to have a full high end spa service pedicure was such a treat. Paul was my technician today and truly was fantastic. Cost was $38 plus tip. So worth it!!!!

Just got acrylics done. Despite the friendly environment, after 40 MINUTES my nails STILL aren’t dry! And he said it would only take 10 minutes! I went home to make lunch and the polish on my thumb nails are already smudged. Like how?! Never coming here again!
