Was having an issue with my furnace. The A.C. Wasn’t working on Sunday (office closed) and my roommate and I let the office know Monday. Nick, their maintenance guy, came in the same day (after hours too!) and fixed it for us. He was quick and knew what he was doing. Mind you, it’s summer so we’re happy to have it back!

Maintenance took a bit to get a part, but once it came in installation was quick and easy. Nick also cleaned up more than he had to and was never intrusive. All in all positive experience.

Domoneek is always helpful and professional when assisting with service requests. He went above and beyond by ensuring my request was completed today.

Kim and Dominick saved our lives today. 10/10. Would deffinetly recommend. They deserve a raise to be honest.

Maintenance request went great! Domoneek was very professional. He asked if I was home or not before he entered my apartment. Most importantly, he got the job done fast! He is much appreciated and AWESOME!

Domoneek Holmes was great!! He came the same day that my request was put in and then once the parts that were needed came in, he quickly came back and finished the job!! He was very nice as well!!

Another praise about Domoneek! He works very hard to get everything fixed in my apartment! Last week my toilet would not flush and he ran over and completed my request ASAP! He walks in with a smile on his face and when we aren’t here, he lives notes describing exactly what he did! He deserves TEN stars and maybe even a promotion! He is definitely my favorite employee here at WR!

Domoneek was very helpful and worked quickly. He was very professional and made sure to call before he arrived at my apartment. He fixed my garbage disposal quickly and told me hold to prevent the problem from happening again!

Maintenance is great! Quick to respond and doesn’t take long fixing the problem. Dominic fixed my last issue. My disposal was jammed, i put The request in yesterday and it was fixed today. Any problem I’ve had, he’s right on it.

Domoneek called first to let us know he was here before he entered the apartment. Very cool dude, helped fix the problem :)

Maintenance deserves 5 stars, but management leaves a more than a few things to be desired. Little proactive communication unless going to their portal to see posted announcements. So if you dont check a few times a month youll probably miss something. Management places more and more onto the residents as time goes on it seems. Its not a super satisfying realization because the place itself is very nice.Edit: light pollution is really bad here

The maintenance team has been a life saver. We were moving in late on a Sunday and the hot water pipe behind the washing machine busted. We were able to cut the water off, and called the emergency maintenance line. Dee and Nick jumped into action as soon as possible helping any way they could. I really appreciated their responsiveness and how they handled the situation.

Montclair Apartments has been a very good home for me for the past 2 years, as I am a current college student at Lander University. Anytime I had an issue or maintenance request the office staff were very understanding and very helpful. They also get their maintenance requests done in a fast and timely manner which is greatly appreciated. The office staff is also very friendly, caring and wants nothing but the best for their tenants. I would definitely recommend these apartments to college students because it is in a safe area and the property and apartments are very well taken care of! Nick and Dominque are some of the best maintance guys that Ive had the opportunity to meet! Their hard work does not go unnoticed from their tenants! They are also very polite, friendly, passionate and enthusiastic about their jobs! Also anytime I am there why they are completing a maintance request, they explain to me what they are doing to fix it and exactly when it will be fixed if the job has to be done over a period of days!

He left me my service request letting me know what he did also showed me what he did to fix the problem.

I reported a leaky faucet in my kitchen on Wednesday May 20,2020. When I returned home from work it had been replaced..The maintenance tech left me a card with his name on it and a sheet in which discussed what he done.. Everything is neat and I’m satisfied.. Had a infestation of bugs and flooding of apartments twice!

I would like to give a huge shout out to the ladies who manage the Winter Ridge apartments. My son has just moved in, and I have had question after question. Every time I call, I am greeted pleasantly. My concerns are either immediately resolved, or I get a timely call back. Thank you, Hayley and Kimberly! You guys have been so helpful!

My outside outlet wasn’t working. Jeremy came and fixed it for us. He was very friendly and explained to my parents everything he was doing to correct the problem. He is very informative while working and very pleasant while there.

I discovered a leaky faucet in my apt. I called the office and made a request @ 8am and by 1030 am my faucet was fixed.i got a brand new faucet. The tech cleaned up behind himself . I think his name was Chris or Nick . Thanks again

The apartments have little space. The office is not organized AT ALL. There is ZERO security! My car has been broken into, as well as many of my friends had their apartments broken into. I have lived here 3 years on and off due to conveniency and anytime I have to talk to them they are never on the same track. You will end up getting charged for things you shouldnt. They do not own up to any of their mistakes. I would seriously consider all your options before renting from this agency. Members of their staff are extremely rude, condescending, and submissive. If you have to live here KEEP RECORDS OF EVERYTHING. Even the notes they put on your door (the only way they communicate). They will accuse you of not paying rent and increase the price of rent regularly with no increase in the standard of living. Some office employees try their best but there is only so much you can do when the agency itself is terribly managed.

Decent sized living spaces and bedrooms at Montclair. But management was uncooperative in addressing a/c issues. They said that the a/c units were the proper size for the apartment space, but temperatures inside of the apartment reach 82 or more degrees on hot days. This is unacceptable given the cost of rent and how much it affects the power bill as the a/c runs continuously just to keep the apartment from getting even hotter.

Broken disposal was taken care of by Nick in a timely and professional manner.

I want to start by saying that the staff especially Sandy had been the most welcoming and enthusiastic person I have ever met. She follows up and keeps you informed with the process of getting a place to live. The office is a very welcoming atmosphere and even calling the office make one want to come and live in winter ridge or Montclair!

Everything is so clean and fresh and we are loving our new home. The few things that needed attention when we moved in (hot water heater, front door lock, dishwasher) were taken care of immediately by maintenance. It is very quite and we are so happy we chose Montclair.

First moved into Winter Ridge in the Summer of 2015 and immediately was treated with excellent service and attention. The apartments are clean and have new appliances. The area is very well taken care of and quiet. I would recommend living here if you are looking for quality apartment homes.

Rent goes up constantly for such a small space. Not to mention, they try to charge you for things you dont even owe for. I understand why this place is like a revolving door. Neighbors are always moving out. I feel stuck at the moment....will move as soon as the opportunity comes up.

Unorganized and dishonest management. They purposely do not document agreements with tenants and do not give receipts for payments. You will not get your deposit back and will be charged other fees after you have moved out. Good luck on getting an answer to what and why you are being charged. Kimberly (accounts) just happens to never be available. They also do not answer calls. I called for days hour after hour and my call was not answered until I called from a different number they could not identify as mine. Fraud- dont live here.

Parking is terrible. College kids are drunk and constantly being loud at all times during the night. Desperatley need parking passes or something to control the amount of random people parking all over the place.

I am so glad that I found this place close to my work place. In fact, it is close to everything and I dont have any compliant about neighborhood, so far. Since I moved in here it has been quite, nice people around and the apartment meets all my needs and wants. So, all is being covered at this place. Now, if I have to talk about winter ridges services, there is not doubt, they are great. Once you have an issue or something is down, they will take care of that as soon as possible no matter what it is. Good job WR. Regards,

Winte ridge is the best place to live, it is so close to my job & close to everything, you dont even have to go 5 miles to find something . Whenever there is a problem the guys who work there always come as soon as they can to fix whatever the problem is doesnt matter if its big or small . The people are super nice & its never noisy . Its always clean & the property manager will help you out with any questions or concerns . All in all this is probably one of the best places to live ! Keep up the good work !

Nice place. Stayed at the Winter Ridge Apartments in the New Section while having my home built. Unit was clean, rather large, bright and airy. The management agent was pleasant and maintenence crew was quick to respond while being pleasant.

I was so very pleased with Ashley today she was so helpful & patient with signing me up for the resident portal so I could see my water bill & put in a service request. Very pleased with her knowledge & customer service!

Had a good experience with the maintence man. They fixed something in each of my bathrooms in a timely manner. Thanks nick and dee!

The people in the office dont know anything about what they are doing. We were told 3 different things about moving in and getting the carpets cleaned. They also tried to charge us for things that werent right. Just they make it not worth living there and thats why we moved out. Worst. Place. Ever.

My husband had gone into work early and I was excited to put my daughter in the tub and get her off to bed so I could relax and have a night to myself...Well, I must of pulled the faucet a little to hard (Hulk💪🏼smash) Before I knew it, there was water gushing all over my bathroom. I panicked when I could not find a shut off valve inside my unit, and turned off the water to the entire building. I called maintenance, and very embarrassed by the entire situation tried to explain my mishap. Nick was the man who came out to save the day. I appreciated that, though he did not have too, he reassured me saying that turning off the water too the building, though inconvienant to my neighbors, was a good start. Instead of allowing the water to continue to sand blast my home until he could arrive. Though nothing could make me feel any less foolish and embarrassed, he was very kind and professional and he fixed the problem with in minutes. I am extremely grateful to Nick, his patience, kindness, professionalism and the speed in which he was able to restore the water to everyone and my faucet to it’s rightful place.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! The office has no idea what they are doing. Kim was the worst person up there. She handles the money and had no record of the lease even being in my name!!! Kim also informed me that I would be getting my deposit back a month after moving out and here we are 3 months of moving out and still havent received my deposit and now Kim is supposibly never in the office. If you want to talk to anyone up there talk to sandy! She is the most helpful and organized person that you would be able to get up there.

I moved to winter ridge about a month ago & I have to say I can not complain about anything, the neighbors are super nice and it isnt ever noisy . I am very pleased and dont plan on going anywhere for a long time .

Friendly and courteous maintenance men. They responded quickly to the service call and resolved the issue.

Apartments are nice, finally got new steps to replace the old broken ones after two years. However, save yourself the hassle of having to deal with the most unprofessional office/management staff I have ever dealt with. Constant turnover in the office, therefore no consistency with any issues tenants are having. Maintenance requests do not get passed along to the maintenance staff in a timely manner. I went almost two months with no refrigerator. They kept giving us the run around about the security deposit refund. After being told by management that there would be no penalty for ending the lease a few days early, then they say no security deposit refund. SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE WE MOVED IN!!!!!!

Place is nice and feels like home, after all home is where you make it.

*Crooks*I would give half a star if i had that option. That much ONLY because the apartments were ok. The apartments hide how bad their management is. The staff was nice while I lived there.The staff was always ready to take your call and answer any questions. They were unorganized though. There were several occasions when they were out of receipt books and then failed to deliver any written proof that your rent had been paid.BUT..After I moved out, I was not able to get in touch with them about getting my safety deposits back. I never received anything in the mail about owing them money or when I would get my deposit back. They avoided my calls. It took me several months to get in touch with them and I was told they have been backed up and had not been able to get to returning my.. $. I began calling again. Once again, my calls were ignored. I have not been fully refunded.DO NOT RECOMMEND

Antiquated apartment complex with payment/billing system from the stone ages, no way to track payment of water/rent. Takes 6 days to fix broken shower with no communication of when the shower will be fixed

Extremely poor results absolutely hate this place cant stand the staff here charging me for things that werent true if youre trying to find somewhere to live do not choose this one!!!

Domoneek went out of his way to make sure the repairs to my sink were done in a timely manner. He purchased the materials himself so that I didn’t have to wait for the part to be ordered. He was professional and extremely helpful.

We were so happy with our experience with D in August. He solved all of our issues and he was happy to help!
