Apartments are fantastic, our one bedroom can fit two people, two pets and a two bedroom apartments worth of stuff in it while still keeping lots of open space. You can tell whoever created the layout for the apartments was someone who took consideration in the quality of someone living here.Maintenance is quick, the office said that theyd be out in two days but they came out the same day.NOW, the only bad thing was that our welcome to the neighborhood was two possibly stolen boxes. The office forgot to mention that theft was an issue and we could bring our boxes to the office instead.Still waiting to hear if Maintenance picked them up to keep them from being taken, but theyre most likely lost.

This is my 5th year here at Westminster. The upkeep of the property and of the units themselves are top notch, and have been since I moved in. Whenever I have a work order, they are our right away to get me taken care of. On top of that, the property grounds in general always look appealing. It is always nice to be proud of where you live and I can honestly say that I am. The business center is nice too. They just got some new macs in there.

Westminster is the definition of a 5 star review. I read so many reviews before moving in to see what I was getting myself into (I mean come on, this is gonna be my home for the next 12 months after all.) And I am honestly mad that I even read some of these and almost let them change my mind. My entire experience with this complex has been nothing short of welcoming and professional from day 1. The office staff is all so helpful and my apartment is perfect for my lifestyle. They also cater to your pets needs and wants in a home too- my sidekick beagle mix LOVES her daily trips to the dog park to see her friends and get her energy out. All I have to say is- check the place out for yourself before you let some of these reviews turn you away. I am beyond happy with my choice to move in here.

I am moving to these apartments soon. The staff was very friendly and professional, everything looks exactly like their pictures! They have playground equipment for the kiddos, a dog park, a business center kind of space, a nice gym, and a gorgeous pool!

Apartments are trash, had to go in the office every month because my bill was wrong. Air conditioner didn’t work complained multiple times about that. Only thing the people in the office told me was “well your on the 3rd floor so it’s going to be hot” unlike the other apartments cause the “sun” isn’t beaming down on them. So no air throughout the summer. Overall experience living here was horrible .

I adore this community!! i have nothing but GREAT things to say about Westminster Apartments! i am a stay at home mom, so being able to take the kids on walks, to the playground and across the street to baskin robbins is the best. we really enjoy the pool in the summer as well! always clean and very relaxing. we have lived in a few different apartments before coming here and this has by far been our favorite!

Stay far away from this establishment. They are unprofessional and do not hold up the terms of their own contracts. Within my first two months living here my car was towed despite the fact I had registered my vehicle. The dishwasher constantly had to be repaired and did not work. There was mold in the windows, bathroom and kitchen. They tried to tow my car again during COVID while I was working from home because I hadn’t moved it. When I moved out they refused to return my security deposit and charged me ridiculous cleaning fees. When I asked what I was being charged for they said could not specify. Their contract specifically states they will not charge any fees at move beyond excessive wear and tear. I cleaned the apartment top to bottom at move out. Throughout my lease the office had trouble keeping their word and maintaining professional decency.

I love living here at Westminster. Ive lived in a few apartments in my time and this has by far been the best one. My grandchildren really enjoy the playground and the pool in the summer. They have yoga in the fitness center every Saturday morning. (my wife goes but not this old man).they are pet friendly! our dog loves going to the dog park here. definitely a 5 star community!

We are currently living in these apartments and for five months our upstair neighbors have been stumping, running, and jumping around up there. We have tried to file a complaint three times and the apartment office has done nothing. I’ve tried to see if we could upgrade to a townhome and they tell us that we have to stay for a year before we can move, so we have to deal with this every single day and every single night. I’ve tried to go up there and talk to them and they don’t seem to understand. We are basically stuck with this for eight more months because of the property manager inability to step up and fix the issue. I’ve also been waiting on them to call me back for months. I have also been up to the office and every time I go up there I get the same answer. No one is willing to help you, your pretty much on your own when you sign that lease. If you come to these apartments and you get neighbors like this do not expect the office staff to help you. You better have a lawyer on your side to get anywhere with them. My next step is to call a lawyer and see what can be done. Do not come to these apartments you will be unhappy!

I was in a bind to find a new home, with so little options amidst the pandemic, Westminster could not have made the process smoother. So far everything has been great, from the staff, to my neighbors!

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE! There is an infestation of fleas and bed bugs. When you complain to the property manager himself, he is very unprofessional and wants you to beg and ask politely for them to send pest control out!??? Extremely rude and unprofessional and denies their hallways are infested when indeed they are and it’s only a matter of time after moving in til you realize. Avoid this place by all means if you value your family and furry friends.

I lived in Westminister apartment for 2.5 years and it has been such a great experience... I never had any maintenance issue and the office staff is so friendly n cooperative...they are always ready to help...Maintenance staff is also available at your door at your 1 ring only.... it is one of my best experience till now...

My children love it here, and so do I. So many great amenities (playground, pool, dog park) just to name a few! Nice office and maintenance staff, and a very clean well kept community. Would highly recommend

I went on a tour of westminster apartments after viewing multiple complexes in the greenwood area and it was by far the nicest and most affordable! the staff was so amazing and friendly i felt like i was immediately at home. touring the property beforehand was an extra perk, it’s very well kept and clean looking. also for pet lovers out there they are pet friendly!! :)

I am very picky when it comes to apartments. This one passed all my picky tests. VERY clean, well kept, and the apartments are very big for the price. I live in the 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit and it is such a cute little apartment. There are two entries to the kitchen and a dining room perfect fitting for a table. It feels like home here.

Great apartments! I had a maintenance problem with my heat and they were out within the hour to get it fixed. Moving in went smoothly too, office staff very easy to work with.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and have enjoyed it. Anytime maintenance has been needed they have came on time, completed the job, cleaned up, and left. I have referred a lot of people I know personally here and they have also had good experiences.The location is in a good spot with the mall across the street, lots of food restaurants very close, and fresh thyme, a good grocery store is also across the street.Ever since Westminster has became a Van Roy establishment it has became one of the best apartment complexes in the Greenwood, IN.

I have resided here almost 3 years now. I have seen changes. Most of the changes are good, and some not as good, however; to be fair...the apartment complex has been through a total complete makeover in all of their units, the office personnel and management team have been professional and polite to anything that I have brought to their attention. For awhile we were having major headaches with parking, and pet owners, but have seen changes that have made the issues better than they were. As a whole it is a clean not a run down dumpy complex. Generally quiet for the most part. With warmer weather conditions theyve had a poolside party, and a family day for residents here, even a wine tasting event one time. The location is great, everything is close by, restaurants, shopping, the mall, movie theaters, etc which was one of my reasons for moving here, and the fact that the apartments were all renovated. Like anything else everything has ups and downs but for the most part I have been happy living here and have continued to stay here. If it was as bad as it was once based on much older reviews, I would not have moved here, let alone remain here this long, going on 3 years almost. I have had only one other apartment complex experience as good as this one. I looked at many, and stayed at a few before coming here, I would not have remained here as long as I have if it was less than the good experience I have had, and expressed here, as well as experienced in my time here as a resident.

The apartment itself is great however my husband and I have on multiple occasions tried to reach out to office to only get no response. The most recent problem is that over the past few weeks we have seen multiple homeless men sleeping in our buildings stairwell. I tried emailing the office only to be met with no response. When they were simply sleeping in the building it was harmless enough but now my husband had been harassed when out walking our dog. I find it simply unacceptable that I have to be worried when leaving for work each morning due to the possibility of a random man to be sleeping right outside my door.

They have been nothing but helpful, during this ever so stressful time. Kind staff- both in office and maintenance staff alike. Property is well kept, and awesome amenities.

As a renter who has had less than ideal renting experiences in the past, this place was such a breath of fresh air. They did an amazing job on the renovation, the staff are so kind, and the property is kept clean. Any issue I have ever had is immediately addressed.

As a pet lover/owner, this is such an amazing place to call home. My dogs absolutely love the dog park, as do I! It makes apartment living with animals so much easier!

I moved into Westminster Apartments one year ago and I had renewed my lease to live in this community for another year. If someone would have asked me if I would be renewing my lease for another year I would not have believed them. I am notorious for due diligence when it comes to major life decisions. I am a single mother of an 8 year old and quite frankly the renovations are absolutely exceptional, but the safety of my son and ease of location are the heavier reasons that encouraged me to renew. I can stand at the front door of my new home and I am about 500 yards of any and all shopping establishments, I am also around 7 miles of university of Indianapolis and of course a little past that is Down town Indianapolis.The management staff are professional and create a hassle-free mentality that I can say is greatly appreciated with my son in tow. The are committed to their residents and ensuring quality interactions. I have on more then once occasion experienced staff members, maintenance, and management go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The pool is fantastic as well as the tanning beds and workout facilities is fully equipped. The maintenance and rent are all manageable online or through an app, making things more convenient than I have ever experienced as a person that constantly on the go.Finally, the cabinets are immaculate (very important to me personally), walking distance to the major bus route, and the quick responses I’ve receive from maintenance staff when there were an issues has convinced me, undeniably, that this place for me. I greatly appreciate the experience and felt that there are enough negative reviews in the word, Westminster has improved exponentially and will soon be the place to live on the cusp of Johnson County. Convenience and Consideration: TO THE MAX.

If it hadnt been that my family had grown Id have stayed with them even longer, but we had to get a house. 5 stars to this place. From maintenance to office staff, this property is great.

Ive lived here for two years and its been okay. The worst part about living here is the terrible communication from the office. They dont answer the phones once youve moved in, a friend has been trying to get her deposit back for 4 weeks and still it hasnt even been put into motion.They dont care about you personally just your money. This is a place to live, thats about all the good Ive got to say about it. The apartments are nice but hopefully you dont need anything while you live here bc it will be like pulling teeth. Maintence guys are great, just the office staff that has an issue with communication.

Quiet community, which I couldnt appreciate more working night shift. The fitness center and tanning are major perks for me as well. Close to everything, no long commutes, everything I need is in one place.

Being a former member of the military I have lived in many different places and Westminster Apartments is by far one of the best places to live. I have been here for almost three years and I love this place. From the first time I came to look at an apartment home I knew this was a place for me to put down some roots and stop moving. Coming into the complex the landscaping is beautiful and they are well maintained. The staff here is great and always greets me with a smile. I only had to call on maintenance a couple of times and the service was wonderful they came on time and did their work quickly and efficiently. One of the best amenities inside the home is it comes with a full size washer and dryer, saving me time and money. As far as how quite the apartments are I sometimes forget that I have neighbors. I have found my home here at Westminster Apartments.

I currently live here and honestly I really like it but the one thing that I absolutely hate is the parking you can never find a parking spot unless you live in a town home even then sometimes it’s hard to find one if you want a parking spot you will have to purchase the permit parking. I work night shift so I get home at about 3 AM and I have to park a Half a mile away from my apartment I pay enough as it is and to not have a parking space drives me crazy!!! There are 12 parking spots and 4 permit spots per building if everyone owns one car there are 8 people who have to park halfway across the complex!!!!!

Apparently were expected to pay for Westminsters mistakes. I was charged a late fee because they refused to give me access to the rent portal until 1.5 days before the late fee is administered. I had requested access numerous times, was more or less told not to worry about it, and then charged. As a rental agency I wouldnt want to turn a 3 year residency into a 1 year over a late fee and miscommunication.Rent is considered late on the 6th. I see it unreasonable that the communication and my access wasnt granted until 3.5 days AFTER rent is due (the 1st) yet Im expected to and penalized for not responding within 1.5 days, EVEN THOUGH I had requested assistance with access as early as 18 days prior, Aug 12. See photos.Apartment is cozy, amenities are nice, but currently unhappy with service. Willing to adjust my review if adjustments are made for my account.

I lived here back on 2012 to 2013 we ended our lease early due to they were renovating and we couldnt afford the price they wanted for the updated 2 bedroom. So we were able to end our lease. Never really had to many problems. The only minor problem I had was a miscommunication with maintenance when our heat wasnt on and I called the emergency line but nothing was ever communicated to the front office. I was so busy at work I just stayed at my parents for a week and came back to see the problem still hadnt been taken care of so I went to the front office and explained my situation they had a maintenance man there within 15 minutes. If I ever wanted to live in the city again I would live here.

This is the ultimate bait and switch in the apartment world. The unit they demo is fantastic, the one you move into falls apart in the first 6 months. The office staff are kind and caring when you move in, then quick to pull the hood over your eyes when you put in your notice to move out. Although I never had any issues with the unit itself, the office is terrible about returning correspondence and non communicative about upcoming changes or alerts. Happy to be leaving this overpriced apartment and dont have any plans on coming back.

Its not what you say but its how you say it!My cousin lived here 2 years ago so Im trusting that the staff are still professional pleasant and willing to accommodate the customer.Ill be back to give 5 stars unless they show me otherwise. Huge upgrade. Expensive. Remodeled. Worth the price...? Almost but... nah.

I recently moved out of these apartments nearly a month ago after residing here for a year. The year that I lived here felt like the longest year in my life. The first 4 or 5 months that I lived there the neighbors below me were drug addicts who would pass out in their vehicles for several hours while their daughter sat there and watched. Not once did the apartment complex do anything until they were late on their rent & then evicted. The people who replaced them are absolutely no better. Our apartment always smelt like weed, they would park their cars right in front of the doors and get their cars towed, their dog was never on a leash & their feces were never picked up. Not to mention they were in a domestic dispute in front of the building while all of the maintenance men just sat in their cars and watched. When I called the office staff they didn’t show any ounce of care. When I asked if they could have the cops patrols the area that night she said she would ask the manager. I had to call the cops myself because I no longer felt comfortable in my own home.If you have dogs be aware! If someone in your building doesn’t pick up after their dog they will try charging everyone in the building a pick up fee, even if it wasn’t you.The apartments themselves aren’t the worst but you definitely overpay for what you are getting!! BE AWARE!

Its good quiet place for living. Good spacious apartments, big closet, and very friendly staff. Just one thing that they dont have online method of payment. If you want to pay online it cost some extra amount.

Every experience that we have had with Westminster has been outstanding. From the application process, to the people, to the property itself and everything else that is offered, we have not have one single negative experience. We had an issue with our application and they were helpful in offering options for resolution and never once made us feel bad for needing a co signer. Our townhome is in perfect condition, with excellent paint, floor covering and fixtures. No corners were cut here, to save the owners money. I work from home, for a national company, and I never have any issue with noise or neighbors. We feel like we are living in a single family home. The pool is clean, and as a middle aged couple, we have never felt out of place. We use the work out facility, which is always available, never crowded, and in good clean working order. I have had to use the Technology Center for printing a document, when I ran out of ink, and it was so nice to just go in, print what I needed and return home to work. No running out for ink. We enjoy having the tanning bed so easy accessible. One of the things that I have noticed that set this community apart, is how hard they work to keep everything so clean and in working order. Not messy dirty smelly area around the trash dumpsters, or debris all over the lawns and parking areas. Even the grass and landscaping is top level maintained. We are so glad that Westminster was the first people we contacted, the first to respond to us, and that we made our first choice our only choice, because for us, this was the best choice, and we have not regretting our decision to make Westminster our home.

Ive had a great experience with this location. I moved across the country and was able to do everything almost completely online. They are professional and keep the grounds clean and maintenance is fast! Ive had a few little cosmetic things in my unit and the staff corrected them with in 24 hours. There is a playground my children enjoy and even though there are multiple apartments sharing an entrance hallway the apartment are very well insulated from sound. I never hear anyone and I am in between two other apartments. The remodel was done very well.

I was new to the area when I found Westminster Apartments & Townhomes. As soon as I entered the office door I knew it was the place for me! The staff is amazing and always very helpful. I would like to recognize 3 lovely ladies that go above and beyond: Amanda, Sierra, & Kate. The maintenance crew is pretty great as well and super friendly. If it werent because of a job relocation I would absolutely continue to live on this property. I would recommend this complex to any friend or family member young to old! There is a nice variet. Westminster is a great community that is clean, has a safe environment, little to no drama, revamped, and also just a few minutes from awesome restaurants, shopping and entertainment! The office staff and maintenance crew are very friendly and will promptly assist you in any way they can. The folks that work in the office are kind to everyone, but theyre not afraid to get stern with people that have outrageous expectations. I love the way they handle business. As long as you dont cause trouble, are friendly and respectful to the property and to other people living here, take care of your own responsibilities such as pay your rent, utilities, and keep your apartment clean and dont treat the staff or maintenance crew as though you own them, you will always be treated with respect and taken care of. I gladly waltz into the office at roughly the same time each month to pay my rent in full. I am grateful that my family has a nice place to live in a great central location here in Greenwood. Even though our building sits right on County Line road, we dont have any issues with traffic noise like you might think. Westminster Apartments is a great place the live and call home.

Do not be turned away by the negative ratings from the past. Westminster has done multi million dollar renovations and it really shows! The pool area is amazing, the staff here are the most friendly I have ever dealt with. Great location, and most importantly of all I LOVE MY APARTMENT.

Having just moved out and had lived at Westminister for over 4 years I figured it was time to give my review. To start I really dont have much to say on the negative side. I only ever had to contact maintenance once and the issue was resolved that day. Never had any issues during my time there, kept the apartment in good shape and was glad to see I received my full security deposit back. The office was easy to work with and all my question and concerns were dealt with in a timely fashion. Overall, from the time I signed the lease till the time I left it was a pleasent experience all around.

Great Landscaping and the management is top notch. The office workers/ maintenance is awesome and is always there to help. Great place to live and they gave my family a great home.

Do not live here. Very friendly at first, but they are now charging me outrageous amounts for damages to my previous residence. Ive been paying but the debt only increases. Initially I owed $1100, I paid at least $500 and now I somehow owe $1700 with no itemized list of what Im even paying for. I have two resident referrals, allegedly worth $300 in rent credit each, but they havent been contributed to my account. They lost my rent checks twice which resulted in extensive late fees, but paying online costs significantly more. Ive been verbally assaulted twice by both Scott and Daniele when trying to straighten out these issues and at one point she said I cant be expected to keep track of every units check. sounds to me like she cant be expected to do her job and the tenants are just units to the staff. Ive also sent emails to Van Rooy, the property owner, to find the property manager is hardly in his office and has only replied to one of my emails. I wouldnt recommend this place at all, the rent and bills are high enough without paying for the offices incompetence.

My daughters have been in the process of getting ready to sign a lease and move into one of there townhomes. They have had bad experience at another property nearby and was a little reluctant about this town home as they’ve driven by a couple times and not seen any progress on their townhome. BUT a gentleman named Blaine, has reassured us that girls townhouse will be ready for them on time. He explained there process of when they do things to the apartment/townhome closer to the move in date so that it’s more fresh for the new renter. I have to say I’m very happy that Blaine explained the process to us and he was very friendly and professional about it. I feel that my girls are getting treated great by the staff and hopefully won’t have any worries after move-in.Definitely recommend these apartments just based on the office staff and their professionalism they show towards everyone.

You get a lot for your money!Plenty of space, closet, up-to-date appliances, and 24/7 access to a fitness center, technology room, and pool.I love it here, and I wouldnt move unless I had to.

Terrible apartment complex, will never forget what they put us through..RUNN..They were very nice in the beginning when we wanted to move in, then after that it was like a night mare. Hot water was always cold in the winter and we spent a lot of time calling maintenance at strange hours in the night and early in the morning to come fix one thing or the other. The garbage disposal was always broken and the dishwasher never worked and had water that backed up and it used to smell after days causing us to re run and waste our money on electricity because rerunning is not free. It was crazy, and then there were rats, OMG and it wasnt because we were dirty because we are very clean people. And when they sent pest control he put one or two traps and then never came back. We pretty much had to deal with this on our own. if I had to give a compliment I would say the only thing is that maintenance comes pretty fast but the fact that I have to call maintenance almost everyday for one thing or another is simply terrible.They wouldnt work with us whenever we had an issue, and we always paid our rent on time or ahead of time. The Manager was terrible and lets not talk about the staff in the office who were sometimes rude. And to top it all off when we were moving out they made the whole process a living night mare for us. They nitpicked on everything and wanted us to do a complete remodel if not they were going to charge us thousands of dollars for everything and we had been here 2 years.We had to pretty much renovate the apartment for immediate move in by the next resident because they didnt believe in normal wear and tear. Honestly I will never forget this place, you guys were a ROYAL nightmare and you put our family through a lot. I will say you have won the award by far for the worst apartment we ever lived in.NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We lived here for two years and actually overall had a really great experience until we moved out. We spent hours cleaning the entire apartment when we moved to get it ready, cleaning baseboards, wiping down everything, etc. The office staff told me there was no need to clean the carpet when I asked the week prior to leaving. After we left, they said the carpet in the entire apartment had to be replaced and was not salvageable, charging us hundreds of dollars after we moved out. I actually have a picture of the apartment the night we left; it needed a cleaning but was 100% salvageable and I would have totally cleaned if I had known they were going to take the easy way out on our dime. We were good tenants; always paid on time, no complaints, no damage to the apartment. This completely taints our experience with Westminster and Van Rooy properties. They took our entire deposit and we still have a large bill.

I live in a house near by. Its nice to see the wonderful updates. I hope you now rent to a better class if people. They look wonderful.

It was a nice place to live. Rent wasnt to bad and I like having a washer and dryer. And pool was nice. I probably would have renewed if I didnt have to move for work.

So I found out a few weeks ago they used to let a SEX OFFENDER live here in these apartments. I lived in the same building and just a few doors down!!! Every single one of my neighbors has kids!! These people are wrong for allowing him to move into these apartments for months. Then all of a sudden he gets kicked out but it was MONTHS after he had lived there. DO NOT LIVE HERE, I moved out as fast as I could!!!!!!!

The people working in the office are so nice and friendly, the maintenance staff is great as well. Also best apartment complex pool Ive seen.

Lived here waiting for my house to finish being built, going from being a homeowner, I was pleasantly surprised with my rental experience here.

Rent is a little salty for the average worker but manageable. I got hurt at work and was late with rent, they waived the fee. which i really appreciate. Everyone stays to themselves and are nice when they dont... no issue with me. Maybe add some stops signs...... and kids at play signs for sure...

I worry about driving safety. There are no stop signs within the complex. The apartments are very spacious.

We lived here for 1 year and couldn’t be happier to move out! The only thing saving this place are the girls in the office who are nice.. everyone else is terrible. They are more concerned with people picking up after their dogs then they are with the fact that they have drug addicts and drug dealers living in every building. Tenants always screaming and fighting. Several complaints were made by other neighbors and nothing was ever done. I never felt safe living here. Our apartment always reeked of marijuana. Our electric bill was always high because the a/c never stops running. Yes the apartment looks nice but after a few months it starts to fall apart. Nothing about this place is good. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. For what you pay a month there are far better complex’s in greenwood. If you want to live somewhere terrible move into polo run it’s just like Westminster but cheaper!

With the new renovations this place is beautiful and moderately priced. Staff was super friendly as well as the residents we ran into on our tour.

I lived here for 1 year and moved out not too long ago and when I say that this place sucks, I mean it really sucks. Sure it looks nice on the outside but there’s a lot more to the place that what meets the eye. They don’t care who they put into these buildings, the first few months we have a pair of drug addicts living on the bottom floor who played their music loud at all times and who would pass out in their cars for hours at a time because they got so high. They eventually got evicted but the people who replaced them were just the same. They had different people at the complexes every night. It always smelt like weed in the hallways and even in our home because of the vents. Paying tenants could never find parking because these people had people over all the time and would take all of the parking spots, sometimes even parking in the car ports that people pay extra money for. They were always yelling and screaming at each other, getting into domestic disputes every other day. Their dog was never on a leash and was allowed to defecate on the sidewalk, under the patios, and in the grass close to the door. Not once did they ever pick up after their animals. Which is funny because a few months before they left the building posting notices threatening to charge everyone in the building a pick up fee if the problem continued. So you’re saying people who live in the building down the street could walk by my building and let their dog poop, leave without cleaning it up, and we’d all get charged even if it was someone who wasn’t in our building? That’s ridiculous. Maintenance consists of the works creepiest men. They sit in their trucks and stare at you, and slowly drive next to you as you walk your dogs down the sidewalk. The tint on their trucks is so illegally dark it makes you feel insanely uncomfortable. It got to the point where we wouldn’t walk outside alone and always went with someone elsewhere. The bathtub was always clogged, the AC never worked properly. Our apartment didn’t have a screen door and the walls started cracking 6 months into our lease. You’re paying all of this money for Polo Run problems. All they care about is your money and not the quality of living for the tenants. Save your money and peace of mind and go somewhere other than this place.
