My husband and I have lived at Sandstone Court for almost a year now, and we have been impressed! The application and move-in process went smoothly. We havent had much interaction with staff from the leasing office since then due to COVID-19, but we havent had any issues! Maintenance staff are prompt, friendly, and do a great job. Before we moved into our apartment, they installed new flooring and carpeting throughout the unit, new blinds, and even a new oven. We have filed maintenance requests for various issues (which would be expected for an apartment of this age) and each time things are fixed quickly and properly - we are always impressed!Overall, neighbors are nice and quiet. We feel safe here for sure. The price is great and the location is very convenient and close to I-65. Would highly recommend!
We have lived in Sandstone for over a year and overall love it. Krista in the office is amazing and is always helpful. Maintainance has always fixed our issues asap. Its in the perfect location and overall a really nice place to live.
This is by far the best apartment experience I have ever had. The apartments are comfy and open, while still being super affordable. The maintenance guys know what theyre doing, always on time and super friendly. The office managers and staff are super down to earth and friendly as well. I feel safe and at home here, I definitely recommend this place. Probably gonna be staying for quite a while. Thanks guys!
My children and I have lived at Sandstone for over 18 months, and recently signed another 12 month lease. We moved from Texas to Indiana, so I was not familiar with the options regarding apartments, condos or homes up here. I can assure you I searched, contacted, and visited over 30 places, and I chose Sandstone. The price and location were the reasons at first; however, my family and I chose to remain here at Sandstone. The reasons we chose to remain here :Nicole welcomed us here as if we were family back in 2017, and now Nicole and Krista continue to treat us not only as tenants, but family. To be 1000 miles from home, yet feel as if Im surrounded by family is huge!I am also impressed with our maintenance crew!!! They are an immediate response team, and that is very important.Another reason we selected Sandstone over all other places is the cleanliness! Our pool here is always crystal clear, with the absolute best pool monitor ( we all know each others names) again as if family! Our landscaping is pristine! I can not express my gratitude for Nicole enough! She has made me feel connected and cared for by a group of people I now call family!
We are so happy here at Sandstone Court Apartments. We have lived here for 3 years now and continue to plan on keeping this our forever home. We can tell an amazing difference since Nicole and Krista have taken over the office. They are professional but personable and very easy to work with. David and Joe are quick to respond and do a great job. They are great at keeping the community upkept and clean.Thank you again for our Forever Home,Gladys W. & family
Staff is awesome I love the way Krista and Nicole put all there customers first and deliver great customer service! Matience is very professional and kind they take there work seriously. I loved my home at the apartments and I felt very safe I’m going to miss that great staff! Also my neighbors were very kind and personable loving people! Just a great environment if you have children or are single it feels like home!!!!
This is a great, quiet and comfortable complex to live. Krista and Nicole are wonderful, they helped me with all my needs and are good about keeping everyone update about things going on in the complex. I’m very happy that I chose this place to live!
I moved to the Greenwood area last fall and looked at 7 different complexes. This was by far the most appealing. Its safe, quite and off the main streets, but only a few minutes from everything you will need. The staff is exceptional. Very personable, yet professional. Office staff are always available to help and the maintenance staff goes out of their way to say hello. Doubt you would find this type of homey feeling anywhere else!!! I am extremely satisfied with choosing Sandstone Ct and highly recommend it to anyone looking to live in the area. Kenny
Ive lived here for 5 years, almost 6, and love it here. The staff and maintenance are both super friendly, always helpful, and always understanding. Best office staff Ive ever dealt with, they always treat tenants with respect, and care about our opinions and that goes a long way with me. Quiet, close to everything and great value for your money.
I highly recommend this community! Friendly staff, friendly neighbors, the managers are great!! I moved here from Bayshore apartments (I do not recommend) this community is much better ran!!!!!!! I will most likely renew my lease next year unless something drastic happens! Thank you to their office team!!
So i just moved out of this comolex as I changed jobs, but i absolutely loved it here! Great professional staff, great layout, nice neighbors. I highly recommend!
I lived here about a year ago, and now my girlfriend lives here. This is a great place to live. Friendly staff, neighbors, and they are always on top of everything! I highly recommend!!
I loved living here sorry for late review!!! Very friendly staff and same for neighbors!!Maintence was always on top of it I called in a problem by end of the day it’s fixed! I am definitely considering moving back when I move back to area in few months if I can’t find a small house to rent! And I will definitely have to at least pop in and say hello to the friendly staff!!! Thanks for such great experience and a nice quiet neighborhood/ apt complex.
The staff is awesome, both krista and nicole are easy to work with. They always greet you with a smile! The neighborhood is great with awesome surroundings. Its quiet and its taken care of. The staff is awesome for their quick response to emergencies that tend to happen in any place people move to. And they are honest about any situation regarding your stay here!
The people that work here are some of the best people Ive ever met. Chelsea and Nicole are absolutely great and Dan is the best maintenance man on the face of the earth. The walls are thin but the staff make it bearable
I haved lived here over 5 years and the staff is great. Property is very well kept and maintenance comes out quickly if you ever need them .
Lived here for two years. Just moved. Management was a lot better to me than what others say on here. Had a couple mice, I told them and the next work day when I got home they had come over and put in mice traps and filled the hole in the drywall with cement. Air conditioner kicked out. A guy came that week and fixed it. I had to go only two days without air after I called.. I love these apartments because they are so stinking cheap compared to others in the area and I like the older buildings. The interior is definitely dated but I dont care! It all works the same to me.
These are very nice apartments! The maintenance crew and office staff are very helpful and friendly people. I would definitely recommend if new to the Greenwood area.
Living here about a year and Id say its the best apartments Ive lived. The staff is definitely a huge part of why, the office ladies are so kind and sweet and the maintenance guys are always on top of anything that needs done and also very polite.
Let me start by saying that I LOVE this complex and the staff. The manager Nicole has been one of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of working with. Maintmence is quick and professional, and the neighbors are friendly and respectful. I would reccomend this complex to anyone!
We have lived here for almost 3 years now and Ive had nothing but good experience. The community is very friendly and the staff is very helpful. Maintenance has always been on point and on time with any issues. Location is perfect being right around the corner from everything you could possibly want. Residents have access to a dog park, pool, weight room, and more. I couldnt imagine living anywhere else.Alex Pressnall
This is a great place to live. Staff and maintenance are very friendly and are very responsive. Nicole has been nothing but helpful with any problems!
When moving into Sandstone Court Apartments the former manager Nicole was wonderful. When ever there was an issue with the apartment, management was on top of getting maintenance to fix the issue. Since the new manager Patrice has taken over it is a COMPLETE nightmare! I have moved out of Sandstone for this specific reason, and would not recommend any family to move in. When ever I had a question, or needed something it was a hassle. Every time! The most common answer from Patrice is the policy states I can not do this. She is not there to help, she will not go the extra mile for you. In fact when speaking with her I felt that she didnt want to make any effort for what so ever. To sum it up, she is just a hassle and frustration to deal with. Im sure if you are inquiring to move in, its all great, but after you sign the lease you can kiss that hospitality good bye. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF MOVING INTO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX AS LONG AS SHE IS MANAGING THIS PLACE.
No matter how many time we call leave emails or leave messages on Facebook the office never contacts us unless its for something they want. My air never works correctly and we have asked 3 times for someone to come fix the fire alarm. The fire alarm sill beeps every couple hours until you reset it but no one is fixing the problem. My first year here was not that bad but that was because of Katie working in the office, ever since she left this place has become a complete nightmare.
Nice place maintenance take care of everything right away and they always give my kid candy at the office
This is a great place to live, friendly staff and neighbors, highly recommend.
Others say no AC and problems with staff not replying. This is not true, at least in my case. I have lived here for 18 months now and also about 8 years ago. We do have water leaks about once every few months but they are prompt in fixing those and all are outside leaks not in the unit. If i have any complaints they are addressed in a timely manner. Some people just want people to do it right then and do not understand the steps the staff have to take to fix a tenet issue. Parking is not the best. Its nice here and for the price its a good place.
Part 1 of 2My wife and I have been living here since December of 2014. If it wasnt an agreeable place we would have moved out long ago. As far as affordability goes, they are a little under market average, but for us they give a generous concession due to being long time tenants. Its definitely beneficial to continue living somewhere instead of hopping around. That being said, we enjoy the property. The location is perfect. Its right off of county line road and so there is easy access to I-65 as well as Greenwood and South Indy. Its in a safe area (very important to us) and after they had a few random car break-ins that were plaguing all of the south side (same perp hit multiple properties) thy installed two light pole style sets of high quality always on security cameras. That has seemed to keep the criminals away pretty good so far. They have two laundry facilities on the property and here is one of my complaints. There is a washer in the utility shed laundry room that has not been working since we moved in. Also, one of the dryers is partially broken as its missing one of the agitator fins on the inside. These are minor things that I would like to see corrected but the other laundry room is fully operational and all but the one washer works in the utility shed laundry room. The pool and workout room are small but they are a nice addition and they are well kept. There is plenty of open space in a grassy area just south of the buildings and they have newly renovated tennis courts as well if thats your thing. The living accommodations are agreeable and our unit has a nice cozy feel to it. They have multiple models to chose from and we chose the 850 sq ft model without washer and dryer hookups since we were so close to the laundry room. The layout is somewhat open concept in our unit so it has a bigger feel to it than it normally might have. Ours even has a walk in closet which was a plus for us. Parking is amiable as they typically have plenty of room and you now get up to two parking permits per unit (if you have more than 1 car). They recently resurfaced and redid all the tarmac and thats a big plus especially for Indiana winters. When things get really icy or snowy they always have a plow pickup come and clear the complex. The staff is awesome at Sandstone court. Chelsea the property manager is always nice and always has a smile on. Nicole the office assistant is just as nice as Chelsea is. The maintenance guys Ben and Dan are really cool and they do good work. They are constantly busy (which is a good sign cause it means they arent slackers) and they always offer a friendly hello as well. I really have no complaints about the staff. They all do their job well. They are very pet friendly and among other complexes have some of the lowest pet fees around ($20 per-month). They allow up to two cats or two small dogs. Fish and small rodents dont count If Im not mistaken.
No big issues here; probably the best apartments weve lived in. We were here for 2 years and just moved.
Yes there was a huge issue with the management and with the maintenance. I had no AC for 2 years. I would call every day it was over 80 degrees in the apartment, per their rules, and every day I was told another lie about how it was this or that. Mice in the walls behind the cabinets evidently have more of a right than the tenants because I had to buy my own glue traps to take care of their problem. The squirrel living in the attic space is probably still chewing through the framework, and they couldnt care less. The black mold was so thick behind the shower backsplash that it felt like plastic on top of memory foam. The one washing machine was broken for at least 2 years, probably still doesnt work. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place before it gets condemned.
Part 2 of 2As far as any more complaints go, I have to say that they put brand new carpet in our unit when we moved in, but like any rental property it was the cheapest grade of carpet and has not maintained its color or fluffiness past maybe 1.5 years. However, this is what you should expect from any rental property as nowhere I have ever rented has been looking to spend tons of money on carpet. I personally would have preferred linoleum or tarkett in all the rooms but at least the kitchen is linoleum. A couple of years ago our AC unit was on the outs and all but died in Summer of 2016. It was replaced with a completely brand new high efficiency unit. The fact they keep up on maintaining their units like this and the fact they listened to me when I told them about it was appreciated. Also, they called professionals out to fix our hot water heater because it wouldnt stay lit and once they cleaned it all out it has been working like new. Again I cannot stress enough how important the maintenance to an apartment is and Sandstone court takes their maintenance issues seriously. Many places will not lift a finger to help you out with maintenance requests and believe me I have friends right now living a ta place like that. One time this past summer I was consistently getting a very very strong marijuana smell in my apartment from someone elses unit. It was causing my wife to have trouble breathing because of her severe asthma. I told Chelsea and Nicole about it and they went to work straight away to try and get the issue taken care of. Going so far as to send out multiple letters reminding my building that illegal drug use is a violation of contract and be cause for eviction. It never came to that as the smell stopped after these informative notices were put out. I have nothing against someones weed habit I just dont want any part of it in my presence and the peaceful but stern way the management handled it was successful. Again, the management really listened to my concerns and did their job well. They really cared that it was affecting my wife and they did something about it. Overall, my experience here has been consistently positive. They have always tried to do right by their tenants and that is why I will stay here until I can finally own my own place. I recommend you come check them out for yourself. Dont expect luxury, but expect a comfortable and affordable place to live in a safe part of the city.
The worst apartment complex I have ever been to. I have been dealing with black mold in my bathroom walls for three years, which management looks past. I have taken the liberty of contacting the health department. Constant problems with mice and squirrels. Dishwashers and AC units never work properly. They currently have two of the laziest maintenance men I have ever seen. No one cares to do their job. There is a rule here that your not supposed to have irritating dogs barking constantly, but thats all you hear at night. Children are the worst behaved here. Chelsea will make herself seem like a wonderful person until you sign that lease. Unless youre a mexican, she doesnt give a crap about anyone. Steer clear of this place at all costs!
Really love the maintenance guy DJ. He really gets things done fast
Amazing staff! People that gave bad reviews are crazy!
This is a great place to live!!
This place is horrible and they treat there employees like crap. There just crooks and will try anything to get a buck. Stay away!!!!
The apartment is not nice inside, it seems like immigrant residents are being taken advantage of.
