I have been looking for a 3bedroom for weeks. Rachael at Honey Creek called me back in a timely manner and has been really great good about making sure I am getting all my needs met. She makes you feel like your at home as soon as you walk in
Ever since new management stepped in, there’s been an improved response in customer service. Recently had a maintenance issue that was well executed by the team and I was kept up to date throughout the entire process! 10/10 would recommend!
Every since the new manager has arrived, communication is better, the community is looking better, and office is actually open to help when needed. Honey Creek has really turned around for the better. I would highly recommend living here.
Yeah I don’t recommend nobody live in these apartments. They are so quick to send you to court for eviction I only missed one month and was sent to court for eviction. They don’t want to accept any time of rental assistance or no payments of any sort, they just want you to move out the date that was given to you to vacate the apartment. SO DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!
Maintenance man has no clue of how to perform his job,gfi plugs were wired wrong & didnt work when i moved in & the hot water valve is still broken after he came out & fixed nothing!! Neighbors play loud music allday! Really regretting moving here & cant wait for the lease to be up!!!!
I give it a 1 star. My neighbor upstairs plays fetch with their dogs at 3-4 AM in the morning! I have brought it up to the landlord’s attention several times, but nothing has changed, cigarettes butts as well as beer bottle caps are being thrown on to my balcony, the neighbors are very disrespectful. I cannot wait to move out of here.Go take your money elsewhere not here!!!!!!!!!
I’ve lived here for three years with my boyfriend and absolutely love this place! Rachel in the office is fantastic. She always goes above and beyond to help with whatever I need. The maintenance gentlemen is super helpful and gets to any fixes/problems quickly. These apartments are in a great location in Greenwood and super close to many stores. Definitely recommend!
I started living at Honey Creek when the manager use to be Tracy and everything was great. She was respectful and always was reachable whenever I needed her. The new manager didn’t seem to be genuine and could be very rude at times. Our apartment record and file was also lost. Rachel blamed herself saying it was the transition of management.
I just want to say that rachal is awesome!!! She communicates very well and makes sure things get done!! I would recommend to anyone who i come by.
Nice looking community
Great deals and great specials, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very nice and reasonable priced apartment!!! Ever since the new property manager and maintenance man arrived at the middle of last year everything has been great!!! Talk to Rachel in the office!! Shes awesome!!Thanks so much!!Morgan
I have really enjoyed living in these apartments. I dont hear my neighbors and I have had no issues with the office. Lesley was great to work with and has taken care of any issues I have had very quickly. Maintenance does a great job keeping the property very nice and has always been quick to fix any issue I have had. There is plenty of room in the grass for my puppy to play and run and lots of parking. Overall I have no complaints here. And its the first time living in an apartment for me and Lesley helped to make it easy for me. Thank you.
Honey Creek Apartments was a great place to live. The property staff went above and beyond to make the neighborhood feel safe and clean. Lesley and the team in the leasing Office always responded quickly when we had a need. I would highly recommend this company and neighborhood to friends and family. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank You for making this place a great place to live!
Unsafe, overpriced, irresponsible and combative leasing agent.I lived here for 5 years and just had to move out because my family and I no longer felt safe. Earlier this year there was a drive by shooting in front of one of the buildings. Before that another resident pulled a gun on my tow truck driver because he didn’t want to wait while he was backing his truck into a spot. Over the last year there has been an increase in break-ins with apartments and cars. My husband and I had our cars broken into 3 times each since last fall. Once the man tried to break in while I was still in my car.The current leasing agent is rude and disagreeable. She’s incredibly irresponsible and does not do her job well. She will do her best to hold you financially accountable for her mistakes. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.
Love the community. Tracy the office manager has been very helpful and attentive to all my issues and needs. David the maintenance guy had been very efficient at getting things fix and keeping the property up and clean. I love this place and have lived here for 3 years now. Im about to make it year 4. Its quiet and very convenient to live here. Best of all worlds. And they have ATT!!!! The service is amazing and affordable. If you are looking for a place to call home this is it. And I not the only one who thinks that. Its almost never vacant due to the fact of how amazing this place is
Great location, very nice units, Rachel in management was more than helpful, thank you so much!
The maintenance is the best part because they are always on it and you dont have to wait long. The hours at the office I think are horrible and not having a drop box makes it very inconvenient for people that work day hours or long hours. Also the children around the complex have no adult supervision. They run out in front of cars, play in the dumpster areas and make a huge mess. Everywhere has its pros and cons. Its not a bad place to stay at all just a few things need addressed.
Started off great and the staff seemed nice. Lived there for 5 years!!! Turns out I was never on the lease in the first place so they wanted to evict my wife and I if I didn’t qualify. So we moved gave ample notice, it’s on voicemail saved, email, and video when my wife went in to talk to them. Now we just get a collections notice on our credit report....I could go on about other things that happened while we lived there and how stressed we were.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!Also avoid polo run if you can.
Just applied to rent at Honey Creek and have been very impressed so far. The apartment was immaculate and the price cant be beat compared to others in the area. The property manager (Tracy) was very warm and friendly, and returned my follow-up calls promptly if she was unable to answer the phone. Shes gone above and beyond to answer questions and be accommodating to my needs. Im looking forward to living in a community that actually seems to care about its tenants.
Liked the size of the 3 bedroom apartment. Has eat-in kitchen, bedrooms a good size not cramped, 2 large bathrooms, porch, washer/dryer hook-ups. We kept property. No pool. In Center Grove, excellent shopping, national-chain restaurants and all the big box stores right there.
Beautiful units, great location and they office manager Rachel is absolutely amazing and so helpful!!!!
The apartment was nice for the amount of rent paid and clean when we moved in. Overall it is a very nice setting in the trees. Tracy and David, the property manager and maintenance person have difficult jobs and they do them well and with a smile. They were great to work with. The walls of the apartment was very thin so LOTS of noise and we had problems with neighbors dropping trash over the railing and not cleaning up after their dogs. The hallways could have been kept cleaner.
Great for the money in CG! Good size, very well maintained buildings and property. The property manager Tracy is very responsive, helpful and cheery.
My fiancee and I have lived here for over a year. I wont lie when we moved in, it was awful! Constant maintenance issues. We were always up in the office about something broken, bugs, mold, etc. Until Lamont got hired! Let me just say he is amazing! No only did he fix everything, he got our apartment sprayed for bugs, got us a new water heater when ours burst, and spent hours cleaning the floors from being soaked! Anytime we have an issue now, we know he will take care of us! The old offie manager and regional manager were a joke! They always argued, no matter what the issue, and never wanted to help. The new lady, Rachel, is amazing! Anytime Ive needed something, shes there! No matter what time, day, etc., you call her, she will answer! We almost didnt reup our lease, until we met both the Rachels, and knew Lamont was permanent! Now, we love living here and plan to stay another year or so! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Lamont and Rachel! :)
Honestly I would give this place a 0 star rating. The management is TERRIBLE. Half of the units if not more do NOT have A/C and they won’t do anything to fix it. The walls are thin and you hear everything from your neighbors. The residents here are rude and inconsiderate. When using the laundry mat people watch you then go in there and scavenge through your stuff and take it. I just had a pillow and $100 miss me jeans stolen from the dryer. And before that people would take my stuff out of the washer/dryer and set it on top so they could use it meanwhile I set my timer to know when the machines are done. 0/10 recommend this place.
Wish I could give negative 5 stars. I have lived in a lot of apartment complexes with poor management, but never that are as fraudulent and unscrupulous as this place! I have always paid my rent early and never caused any trouble for anyone. My problems began at the beginning of the year. The first murder in Johnson County for the year occurred in the parking lot of this complex, a few hundred FEET from my front door. Word had spread both throughout the first responder community and it was all over the local news BEFORE the apartment complex even decided to send out a form type email to its residence. Then the noise around the complex continued to get greater in the coming months, which including dogs (large dogs on wooden stairs) running wild, and trash just thrown all about the parking lots in the area of the dumpsters. Then summer came and I was afraid to drive in my own parking lot because the way the parking lot is set up, kids (unsupervised) come darting our from behind cars, running and riding their bikes, and you can’t see them until they are in the pathway of moving cars. They are suppose to give you 24 hours notice if needing to enter your apartment, you are lucky if you get 12 hours notice. Then came the last month of very unethical, if not illegal, practices by the management company. In the middle of August, I received an email saying I owed right around $100 for unpaid rent and late fees. As I stated, I always pay my rent early, so I was confused by this. I went in to the office and was told my rent had been raised by $40 so I owed 2 months of the $40 plus late fees plus $20 for those two months for not having renters insurance. I explained to them I have always had renters insurance, but they still insisted on charging me the extra fees, so rather than argue over a miniscule amount, I paid them and went on with my day. On August 31, I went into the office paid the new amount of rent for my September rent and informed them that I was being deployed for hurricane relief for the next week to two weeks. On September 3 (the day after rent is considered “late”) I received a phone call, while in Florida for hurricane relief, stating that my rent payment was not being accepted because it was for the wrong amount (even though it WAS accepted 4 days earlier). I was told because I didn’t sign another lease (because I am now on a month to month lease, I had no way of knowing that another lease needed signed because nothing was said the multiple times I was in the office recently) that I was being charged an additional $100 for August and September and needed to pay that amount before my rent would be accepted. I explained, AGAIN, that I was currently deployed in a different state, and the only thing I could offer was my credit card for payment, and I was told basically “oh well”. I then sent an email early Friday morning asking the management company for an itemized list of the charges they claim that I owe, so that when I got back into town I could just pay it and be done with the whole situation. (i value my credit and good rental history, so was willing to do whatever was needed to keep that) I did not receive a reply. Late in the afternoon on Monday, I received a “10 day eviction notice” on my door. They said due to non payment of rent (because they were paid rent, but refused to accept it, because they can’t make up their mind how much they want to charge me) that eviction proceedings would be brought against me. I AGAIN reach out to the management and it was at that time, after requesting to speak with someone higher up and being told I was being evicted for unpaid fees which no one would give me an exact amount of said unpaid fees, that I received an itemized list of the fees they claim I owe. Amongst these are a continued fee for having no renters insurance, which I have always had, and a $75 late fee because they changed their mind about accepting my rent, after it was already paid. If you are thinking of moving here, just save yourself a lot of stress and money and DONT
The apartments themselves are decent but you can hear every one of your neighbors. Also, if you have a problem with your apartment or something needs fixed, it won’t get tended to for at least a few weeks. We have brought multiple problems up with the front office and none of them have been resolved.
Rachel is a pleasure to deal with .... Love the apartments.
Super clean
Honey creek is a small quiet well maintained complex.
Ended up having to turn them down for making me wait over two weeks for the application to come back. The office manager decided to stay home, so my application got put on hold. She did this for two weeks with her kids. The manager thought nothing but of herself and her kids. She did not care that we had a limited time to find housing for our kids. Just buy a house! Apartments in Center Grove are over rated and too much trouble to deal with the middle man! Have not found a good one yet, in over two years!
Since Rachels taken over weve had no issues what so ever and got issues that were unresolved by previous management.
Walls are thin and you hear the people upstairs allday and night for one. Our personal experience has been very unpleasant and after numerous complaints nothing what so ever has been done. The people upstairs who we were told are not supposed to have a dog have thrown all of their dog poop down below in the grass, on the siding to the apartment and on my patio ( half of a trash bag)... the dog also which is left to do its business on their patio just pees allover my childrens bicycles and has even peed on my girlfriend who was smoking on our patio. Once again we made a complaint and were told that something would be done and guess what NOTHING.... Request 3rd floor or stay away...
They will tow your car from right in front of your apartment that you pay 800 a month to be in. Office lady is very unpleasant and not professional.
Office was rude
