I visited this place and felt completely singled out. From the experience and the looks of how they run the business here they only cater to they’re “favorite” clients etc. First off I was seated in the only chair in the business with no remote to control the chair in which there were plenty other seats I could’ve been sat in. Then from previous experience I was handed a menu to select which package I want. However, this time I wasn’t giving anything and the lady just started my pedicure without me telling her what package I would like. She rushed it mad didn’t do anything that I actually came for besides clip my nails and rushed me to pay. This is my last time visiting here and if you don’t want to be treated like an outsider I advise you to go somewhere else as well.

A new favorite! I have been twice now. Will be back. Very professional and clean. I am always offered a drink. I highly recommend Kelly, she works weekends only.

My nail tech was so nice! She gave my legs & feet one of the best massages I have ever had with a pedicure!Love that they bring you nail color section to your chair. It was a peaceful environment. Was a great escape for an hour & worth even penny!

The best manicure! I get gel polish every time I go and its always perfect & lasts a very long time. Great staff, cute space!!! They were able to fit me in really quickly and had so many color options.

I was treated here with a fill in and pedicure. My nails start popping off a day after getting them done. I went to go get my nails fix they still charged me even when the nail tech explained my nails are breaking because there too thin. This is not the place for me or worth my money.

Good experience and my nails did look great when I left, but not for long. One chipped within ten minutes when I wasn’t even out of the shopping center. I had my manicure done on a Wednesday and by Saturday three nails had LARGE chips in them. My toe nails look great, but I won’t go back. I have two small kids so by the time I am able to arrange child care I’m sure they won’t fix them for me.

I havent had acrylic but from what Ive seen, they do great work there as well. My tech did the initial full set, which lasted 3 weeks easily (even with me picking on my cuticles and gardening).

My husband and I spent over $200 here on manicures and pedicures a week ago. After one week my gel manicure has started to peel off. I went back and spoke to someone at the store and was told that is normal for gel polish that I should have gotten SNS. I have had many gel manicures before that last more than 2 weeks. I also was never offered SNS during my initial visit. They refused to fix my nails after we spent so much there and have generous tips. I will not be returning to this salon

I love my tech, she does a wonderful job. She takes her time, she cares about her clients. Not to mention how great the end result is! Everyone should go here!

Went back to this place after getting my nails done for the first time by them and they did excellent look that I wanted. They shaped my nails well it was flat. Beautiful!!

Nails are always shaped well and cuticles are given lots of attention to detail. I love that whenever I come here they are efficient with services so Im not in the salon for a long time.

I really looks forward to getting my nails done and when I was finished it looked like I had them done for about a week already because the lady didnt fill my nail in all the way nor did she do my cuticles, she cut my twice which I dont mind but the amount of money for the job she did was ridiculous, they are very nice tho lol.

Outrageous prices for the work. I paid $116 for a gel pedicure and acrylic gel nails. While they’re cute, they’re not perfect, and def not worth that much.Adding the math up throughout the day and i know i was WAY overcharged.

They are absolutely amazing here. I was falling around between 7-7:15 after I had been to 3 shops they said they werent taking anymore clients (even though they didnt close for another 30mins- 1hr). The other places I called also werent taking clients so when I finally called them I did not expect them to tell me to come in. They were friendly and didnt rush on our pedicures and gel nails! I will definitely be making this my regular shop !

Unfair Business Practice:I called the nail Salon on July 19th 2020 as a Walk-In Client. They graciously accepted me as a walk-in client. I am a very simple client I got SNS, no color, and no tip. I simply just wanted a natural look, and polished nails.My complaint is not about the quality, but it is about the unfair business practice I experienced when checking out.The technician Nancy that completed my nails comminuted my total was $41. However, the price for the service I received is $35. With a tip the price would increase $5. However, I did not add a tip to my nails.When I inquired of the change in price, and communicated this was not my first time she then stated the extra was for the file clipper.Since Covid I have visited this Salon, and I was never charged a fee for the file clipper.After realizing that this associate just tried to take advantage of me thinking I was a new client, and to overcharge I needed to better understand the charge for $6, and where it came from.Nancy spoke with her coworkers, and then stated me new charge was $36 ($1 fee for nail file). No apology for the confusion or overcharging me. I ended up paying the $36, and leaving a tip. (Although, I don’t think it was deserved because she just tried to take advantage of me, but because of my faith I choose to do what was right)For me it’s not about the money it about the morality of the situation. She attempted to overcharge me for a service I did not receive, and thought I wasn’t aware of the actual fee. This associate tried to take advantage of a customer, and that is unfortunate.For this reason I will not be coming back to this establishment if this is the type of practice that is allowed as there are many nail salons who do not try to take advantage of their customers.

I came in for a pedicure on Friday, March 26th. The following day, I noticed my big toe was red and swollen and VERY painful around the nail. It hurt to walk by the following Monday. It was infected. I thought maybe it was just an ingrown toenail, but the infection spread more - I am now on antibiotics. This place pretty much ruined my chances of ever getting a pedicure again. The infection was definitely caused by lack of thorough sterilization. Beware of this...

I have been coming to Luxury Nails for a whole year now and I love the experience! A very calm and soothing atmosphere with great massage chairs! Jake gives the best pedicures and it’s worth every penny. They always accommodate me and that is why I will always return!

I came here based off of the recommendation from a friend and I have to say that I had a phenomenal experience with the staff. I was nervous because Ive had negative experiences at nail salons but this place was very welcoming.

I went in for nails yesterday really wanting round ones. The guy told me he could not do round nails and gave me square ones, then proceeded to charge me $106 for a mani pedi in which I didn’t get the nails I wanted. Do not go here. Also, the lady cut my foot while scrubbing it, didn’t do anything about it whatsoever. Beverly nails In friendly center has my heart forever. Needless to say I didn’t tip.

Im so very thankful for this place. Ive been a client of Luxury Nails and Spa for over 13 years. The owner and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their craft and do an exceptional job. The salon is always clean and practices all sanitation protocols. Great salon doing a great job.

I got SNS with a full set of tips. The tips weren’t even but it wasn’t too bad. The top coat was splottchy and has been worn through on a few nails after a week. I also had 2 nails popped off after a week and I’ve never had that happen with a professional nail job. My friend’s nails (which were worse) looked like an elementary school craft project and have also broken. We had two different techs. We won’t be back 🥸

Had appt n waited 20 min with tech showing no sign of finishing current client. Employee running thru salon without mask, then sitting in front of store with mask around chin. I was put in chair inches from another client who had knocked down partition that was held up by Styrofoam tube. Employee said he would put it up later. First time in 14 months I decided to try fav salon. Been going there for years but they fell very short today. Wont go back

This is the best salon I have been to in a long time. Jake is amazing. He took care of my nails and feet very well. The salon is very clean. I found out they are open on Sunday’s as well!! I will be back and request jake every time

They are alwUs professional and polite. No overpowering chemical smells well kept facility. I have never waited longer than five minutes for service even on Friday or Saturday. Love the results everytime.

Took my granddaughter to get her nails done. The technician rushed. There was polish on the inside of her fingers, one hand did not have the acrylic.polish was on the side if here fingers. This was the first and last time.

Mai did a great job. However, the cost was exorbitant. I agreed to services in advance. My pedicure was the same thing that I got from my former nail technician, who moved to Virginia. He did much more on manicure. He charged me $45. I know he was going up on price, but not up to $71.

Just left the salon. My daughter went for a basic pedicure and a nail fill-in. She called me to pay because they charged her $95.00 and waited for a tip - needless to say it didnt happen. Previous visits have run her $60 - $65 for the same service. She will not be back! Check the NEW Covid prices before you have any services.

I always get SNS and usually a pedicure. The last time I was there I had Jessica and she did an amazing job! Everyone there always does a great job!

Was visiting the area and took my daughter for a pedicure. Terrible experience. The cheapest pedicure is $35 and not worth the money. I look like I need a nail salon. I had a bruised toe nail so the red I originally picked didnt cover it so I switched to gray they just went over the red which chipped within hours. They try to force you to do gel for an additional $15. My daughters (10 year olds) pedicure was also $35 and then the lady asked if she wanted her nails painted (without getting my approval) and charged me an additional $12. The worst money Ive spent. Attaching a photo of my double polished toe nail I took later that SAME evening!

Asked for a gel fill in. They asked did I want a cute down, my replied no. Well gel was laid and nails were shapes flipped over and this laid decided to cut my nail underneath completely off. I am very unsatisfied!!!!

I was planning on going somewhere else when I happened upon this spa while I was needing to visit multiple places at Friendly Center. I wanted a manicure and pedicure for my upcoming wedding and their staff is very friendly, making you feel very comfortable. They give you a free bottle of water and even offer you wine to help you relax. I thought the technician was joking when she offered it to help me relax my hands! I declined, but I just might not the next time I go, and I most definitely will go back. Their tips and SNS looks very natural. The nails that needed tips look like my own and the color is exactly what my mind wanted for French tips. The spa chair experience is also a plus. They really do deck your hands and feet out with a spa experience.

I’ve had nothing but five star experiences here. Ly is my favorite and I really enjoy chatting with her. I love that their hours are later than most places and that they are open on Sunday. The prices are similar to other nail salons I’ve been to here in Greensboro and better than other cities I visit. Overall, I’d recommend them to anyone looking.

Very nice clean comfortable but if a price is posted be aware its gonna be an extra $6 just for them to take nail polish off. They dont tell you that in the beginning.

This absolute worse cut and fill I have ever received! Brandon has been doing my nails for months since I moved here to Greensboro and today was the epic fail for me! I knew when I walked in early for my appointment that it was going bad because he was questioning his peer about me being early! After today I’m never going back again! I normally tip 50 to 100% of my tab! Today the work was so horrible I didn’t even waste the nail polish nor did I leave a tip at all! I just paid for a service that was the worst service ever all to be good to come back another day so he can fix! What a wow factor that is for a customer to hear! I will take me business elsewhere! I will never do business here again! I have invested in taking pride in my nails for 25 plus years!Now I have to cut these ridiculous out of shape not filled correctly nails and find another professional to redo them! What a waste of my time and my money! It’s principle to me! I enjoy being able to pay for great service but today was the absolute worst service I have received in 25 years in getting my nails done! I’m beyond disgusted! Even the other patrons acknowledged my disgust and apologized for my experience today!

I love this nail spa. I drive about 45 min to go here to get my nails done because they offer a gel service I like that no one in the city I live in seems to be able to do. I do not mind paying higher prices for what I want especially when its done right. They always do a wonderful job on my nails and they have even squeezed me in at the last minute. I love the way they do my ibd gel nails I think they are great!

Terrible service, they charged $100 for a manicure, wouldn’t have complained if it was done well, never went to a place that charged me that much. It was very rushed and not properly done.

Went here today for the first time. The pedicure itself was pretty good, but the polish job was botched a bit. They also charge $1 for a nail kit, which is pretty much a nail file and a buffer. You have to return with it each time you visit or they charge you for another one. I did like the massage chair and heated neck pillow.

This was my first visit to this location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I requested an European pedicure. It was great.

I’ve been to this place 3 times hoping they would improve bc of how close they are to my house. Unfortunately, it hasn’t. They are very skimpy with polish, do not do pay attention to details, and charge just as much, if not more, than other much nicer places. They even charge $1 for the nail file they use on you. Im surprised by the negative reviews of this nail spa but then again I guess everyone has their own expectations for what they wish to receive. I have also not ever used a groupon or living social voucher to go here. I have been going here almost weekly for around 3 years and love the service. I do pay for their most expensive pedicure but it is so worth it. I get a glass of wine complementary and a neck wrap and amazing massages and it is the best way to relax in my opinion. Its my treat to myself. All the ladies who work there are great and even at $45 you are getting an hours worth of service. For any spa type setting about a $1 / minute is an average charge for good service. Ive tried other salons but they never seem to measure up and at most I am saving maybe $10 for what ends up being a lesser service. I am also surprised at the complaints for paying $1 for the goody bag. What this is, is a bag that contains a personal nail file and buffer as contaminants from nails and skin are readily transferred through nail files so why would you not want your own file and buffer? They give this to you to take home and I have used mine many times in between going there. If I have bought 3 of these kits in 3 years of regularly going it is a lot. It also ensures that I am not being filed with a dirty nail file that has been lying around used on how many people - very professional.

Jake is great. He did a wonderful job on my SNS and always takes good care of me even if I come for something simple like SNS removal.

Staff not very friendly and the pedicure was not a good pedicure. I wanted an additional service, however no one seemed interested in providing the additional service. It seemed as if I was being rushed and also being serviced by someone who had no training. As I should be a relaxing environment it was anything but that. A little boy was there with his mother who was very disruptive and all over the place and in the pedicure area. It was just an awful experience and I dont recommend anyone try this place. 👎🏼

Can’t look at nails and see that they made them uneven. I’ve been going here, did well at first then downhill from there. Little bit rough.

They over charge & aren’t upfront about their prices. I originally wanted an ombré/French tip but the younger guy (forgot his name) said that he would charge me $20 extra for that because he said he didn’t know how to do it that well. They charged me $96 for a $30 pedicure and SNS full set that was only supposed to be $40. Also the nail tech ‘Ly’ cut the side of my finger & the lady who did my pedicure ‘My’ didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The paint was uneven and she had to go back several times to “correct it” yet it’s still uneven. Never again!

I have been a satisfied customer for over 7 years. I always get Steven for my nails and Tina for my feet. I give good tips of at least $5 per service and more depending on the job done. I recently fell ill and Im in the hospital for bedrest. The hospital is literally less than 5 minutes from their shop. I asked them if they could come to me and do a mobile service for me and they said no. Very plainly without caring. For this reason Im never going back. They treated me, in my time of need, like I didnt matter. For that reason, I guess my money will not matter either!

Love this salon! The only drawback is that the salon ONLY allows cash tips. (Which is why I didnt give 5 stars) I have to make special trips just to get cash out, which is inconvenient. They have an Atm but I refuse to pay the ATM fee. If Im not in the mood to go and pull cash out, I just skip my plans to go. My technician LYN is simply amazing and I feel she should be tipped accordingly. She is extremely nice and I am always pleased with her work.

Went there 6/22/12, terrible services. I will not go there again. Technician kept trying to get me to buy more services, that I did not want. After she finally realized that I was not going to pay more, she had an awful attitude. I was place at the nail drying station for 30 mins, no one came back to check on me. I WALKED OUT... Do NOT I repeat do NOT go here, very rude people. I wish I had read reviews before I went. Again I say do NOT go there...I will find somewhere else to go that will appreciate my hard earned $...

Ive used this salon and yes, the prices are higher but so is the professionalism. I enjoyed my experience here as did the entire bridal party I took along with me. We were served tea and muffins and the bride was treated like royalty. Im disappointed to see so many negative reviews.

Good manicure sketchy business practices. Got a $15 manicure but was given 4$ back in change from a $20. Apparently I was charged an extra dollar for a goody bag that I did not ask for not agree to pay for. When I said I didnt want it, she said it was too late and that the nail tools had already been used on me and that it would just be thrown away. My friend was also asked if she wanted a salt rub and she said yes, but there was no mention of the price until the bill showed up with a $5 extra charge. They def find ways to shadily make an extra few bucks off their customers so beware naive patrons.

This salon is awesome. They must have stepped it up from the date of these negative comments. As soon as I sat down for my pedicure, I was given a price list and it was thoroughly explained to me the difference in each pedicure.I was very pleased with my pedicure and actylit full set.

The most horrible nail salon I’ve been to. My boyfriend and I was rushed so they could leave on time. Went back the next day and had the same lady tell me she did nothing wrong. She fixed them free of charge but didn’t let my GEL nails dry, resulting in me leaving with sticky nails and attracting small bumps. She rushed once again and I will never be back. Don’t waste your money and time.

I do not recommend going to this nail shop. Ive been there before and the service in general is subpar compared to their high prices.My main complaint is their handling of the living social deal they advertised. I called to get an appointment using the deal and they told me they had no appointments available. I heard that they have been hesitant to schedule appointments if you had a deal so I asked if any were available if I didnt use the deal and they still said no. I had a friend call and try to make an appointment for the same service I requested but told her not to mention having a deal. Not to my surprise, they had an appointment available.This type of dishonest behavior is unacceptable to me and I will never visit this establishment again. I dont understand the point of advertising a living social deal if you have no intent of honoring them.

I will never go to this place againI would never go to this place again. I paid $10 to get my eyebrows done which is higher than most. The lady did not even spend 10 minutes on them. Then when I pointed out that they were messed up she tried to blame it on the previous place I went to. Now I have to go spend another 10$ to get someone to fix them. Never again and I will not reccomend anyone else to go here

My nails are already chipped after 2 days and paying for a nail kit? The guy made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I could barely understand him! I wish I never went in there! Im disappointed to see the negative reviews of this salon. I frequent here and always have a great experience. I appreciate the cleanliness and dont mind paying a few extra bucks to enjoy the ambience and professionalism of this salon compared to others. Ive even purchased a LS deal myself and had no issues redeeming. I was unable to get an appt for the same day I called but was told to set my appt 1 wk in advance to ensure availability since theres a limit to how many vouchers are accepted per day. To be honest, everything is clearly stated at the salon re: LS vouchers as soon as you sign in. I dont see why people are getting upset if they didnt read the postings. Besides, youre already getting a huge discount!

Worst pedicure I have ever gotten! They will ask you what kind of pedicure you want... be warned that if you choose the basic pedicure it means the bare minimum BASIC! They will file your nails, buff them, clean up your cuticles and literally just apply lotion to your legs (no massage whatsoever!) and then paint your toe nails... which they will want to turn your massaging chair off before they start painting, I guess because unlike most places they cant paint your toe nails with the chair on! For this luxury service you will be charged $26 dollars, unless you have a living social voucher (which even then I dont consider it worth it!) I could have done what they did for free and been just as happy or even happier.. When my mother and I checked out we notice that the total was $2 more than it should be... which I know isnt a lot... but its still $2. We asked them why the price was different and the owner told us they do not reuse their files or buffers, so therefor they give them to you (in a ziplock bag) for you to bring with you the next time you come (there wont be a next time!) and that it was a $1 for that take home baggy... I told them I didnt want it and he said it was REQUIRED and we would be charged... he also said that it was stated in their brochure... the brochure that no one offered us! Very sneaky, rude, and unprofessional. PLEASE Dont waste your time or your money going to this place... spend less somewhere else and get more! The $30 pedicure package does have more available (like the typical leg massage) but you can go somewhere else and get the same service for cheaper and be treated much better! I literally hated this experience.

WORST PLACE EVER. The manicure was not even very good. At first she said the manicure price was one thing, then it was $36 at the counter? On top of that she charged me $6 for a goodie bag which was a cheap nail file after telling me it was 36, so then it was 42. Another person wrote that she charged $1, yet I was charged 6? This place is the WORST. $42 for a bad manicure. Oh and she clipped my real nails without asking, and I definitely did not want them cut. I never give bad reviews but do NOT go here.
